461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Upbit exchange was hacked. 342,000 ETH lost on: November 27, 2019, 10:56:41 AM
It is scary that an upbit exchange has corrupted this problem and caused hackers to steal it, but they also provided the right solution for compensation for this reason. Why can't they improve the security of floors and investors more secure?

This is why you should not invest or hold your money on trading websites and online wallets

I would say that funds can only be held on those trading floors that are able to compensate you for damage. But who will give you such guarantees?
After all, if not 50 million but 500 were stolen, the big question would be whether the exchange would be able to recover losses of this kind.
In addition, it is not yet clear whether this was actually hacked or manipulated by the exchange.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Upbit exchange was hacked. 342,000 ETH lost on: November 27, 2019, 09:22:03 AM
At 13:06 on November 27, 2019, 342,000 ETH (approximately 58 billion won) were transferred from the Ethereum Hot Wallet to an unknown wallet.
UpBit says it will cover losses worth $51.3 million with corporate funds.

Unknown wallet address: 0xa09871AEadF4994Ca12f5c0b6056BBd1d343c029

https://upbit.com/service_center/notice?id=1085

UPD1: It is also rumored to have additionally stolen BTT worth more than $ 3.5 million and TRX worth more than $ 17 million. Perhaps this will be announced later. After the withdrawal of ETH to unknown wallets from the exchange, BTT with TRX moved to unknown wallets.

UPD2: Funds in the amount of 342,000 ETH were stolen from the Upbit wallet, funds began to be received again, in different amounts, it seems from the exchange team. A logical question arises. Why replenish an already compromised wallet? Hacked wallet balance already - 4.726 ETH

463  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin using or need! Vs stable coins on: November 26, 2019, 06:18:14 PM
By and large, stable coins are nothing more than market-based instruments that allow you to somewhat expand the functionality of the crypto market itself.
Whether stable coins would exist if there were no bitcoin is a big question, however, the technology somehow does not stand still, which means sooner or later development would come to the creation of cryptographic currencies.

In other words, the current methods of storing information and databases themselves are pushing technology to create something like decentralized and more secure than before.
Therefore, I think the creation of cryptography was only a matter of time.
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs really DEAD or simply cleared a path for better projects? on: November 26, 2019, 02:05:08 PM
ICO is not dead yet, many ICOs have failed because there are now too many scammers who have run off investors' money, so many investors are afraid to invest. But if their project and team are real and have a good product then they will make a lot of money at ICO, one example that we can see is ICO BCNEX

BCNEX is not an ICO in the usual sense. They had a fundraiser called the Angle Round that raised $ 1 million.
After this, they conduct IEO sessions on the platform of their exchange, with the involvement of various currencies, both fiat and crypto.
As a result, they managed to raise a good pool of funds. But I would call it IEO.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A coin that solves a problem won't die on: November 26, 2019, 01:37:20 PM
In general, you are right. It is the presence of a working product and the solution of certain problems that distinguishes a good project from a bad one.
After all, any business works on the principle of solving set tasks that are taken from the field of unresolved problems in a particular area.

In this regard, the world of cryptocurrencies is multifaceted and capable of solving completely different types of problems in completely different areas.
Unfortunately, not every project seeks to solve any problems other than problems associated with the lack of money in the pockets of the developer.
466  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Crypto Marketet Is Dumping Drastically !! on: November 26, 2019, 10:47:44 AM
Please try to understand one point that when someone is quitting market (selling) someone is entering in the market (buying). Every market go down that's not limited to CC only. Just be patient and buy your favourite coins at discounted price.

Buying and selling are usual in the marketplace. We are seeing multiple thread throughout most of the boards in the forum to speak about this issue. So finally money is playing the big role here in the market.
We should not miss the opportunity to invest since waiting for the growth is not always good to see it.

In my opinion, everything is much simpler and depends not so much on the purchasing power of the majority,
but on whether there is a strong market maker on the market at one time or another able to pull the price in one direction or another.

This has been observed repeatedly. Now it is clear that the market maker sold his positions acquired a year ago at very low prices.
Probably this led to such a drop in the price of bitcoin.
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are all exchange going to Alive in near future? on: November 25, 2019, 06:35:14 PM
I do not think there will be an end to it happening in the market. There are tens of thousands of trading platforms operating in the market, they are ready to serve you anytime. However, reputable exchanges, high liquidity are always the first choice of users. Be careful of scammers.

All such exchanges will sooner or later face huge liquidity problems, due to the fact that most of the coins will fall in price, which by itself will lead to avalanche-like withdrawals of money from the platform by users.
The only thing that exchanges can do is reduce the number of pairs to meet liquidity, which in the end will lead to the closure of weak little useful exchanges.
468  Economy / Economics / Re: Top Three Emotions to Check to Succeed! on: November 25, 2019, 04:47:28 PM
Emotions are what makes us act blindly, not only in trading but also in any other kind of activity. For myself, I was able to identify some criteria that tell me that I’m about to make a mistake.

As a rule, if I calibrate my condition and come to the conclusion that it is extremely emotional, no matter what emotions prevail in me, positive and negative, then it is very likely that I’ll make a mistake.
Therefore, I put off all the things that I was going to do for later and return to them only after a while with a cold head.
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: November 25, 2019, 03:32:31 PM
I am involved with cryptocurrency because I am interested in technology and the system works, because in my opinion cryptocurrency is a unique technology to learn and also I think cryptocurrency is a tool for different investments, with other investments

As my experience in the field of cryptocurrencies shows me, the most adequately minded people in the crypto sphere are those who are not dependent on cryptocurrencies financially.

As a rule, these are people who already have third-party sources of income, and cryptocurrency is primarily a long-term investment for them,
because all short-term investment projects have too little connection with the blockchain technology itself and are aimed only at speculation.
470  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you use cryptocurrencies in your daily life? Are they useful? on: November 25, 2019, 01:15:26 PM
I must admit that I am not too happy with the way I use cryptocurrency in my daily life.
As a rule, these are exchange operations allowing me to get some fiat means of living, or gambling.

All this is just about financial speculation, not much different from similar speculation with ordinary money.
But this is the essence of technology at the current level.
471  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Are Women Slowly Leaning On To Crypto Trade? on: November 25, 2019, 12:01:55 PM
I think the reason is more than prosaic.
100 years ago, women had significantly less rights than men, and 100 years ago they could not be distinguished from slaves by the number of rights.

However, now women are becoming more equal with men, but so far too little time has passed since the oppression of women by men.
Thanks to modern technology and the general humanistic trend of equal rights around the world, we will soon see modern women in no way inferior to men.
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins ever come back again on: November 24, 2019, 06:58:34 PM
Altcoin will surely come back. Crypto will not earn much volume out there without altcoins so it will definitely come back but the story there is, not all altvoin will be back. Only Altcoin with team of greater crypto minds and use cases that will do well once bull run starts. So Altcoin will surely come back when market recovers
Not sure this could happen in the near future because the crypto market is still heavily influenced by the bear market and altcoins are trending down more. The future of this market is unpredictable and you should take the time to learn new knowledge as this year you will be unable to do anything but wait. I think the altcoin season will come back at a time when everyone doesn't expect and will surprise all investors.
If you are not new investors then you must know that this volatility is not bad but it’s like an opportunity for all of us. We should keep buying as the market is giving us such an amazing chance but that’s true people are losing hope for this current because they already suffered dump last year so now again falling price is really bad, just hope for quick recovery.

This is the biggest problem of the cryptocurrency market. In view of the huge volatility, not all people are able to properly use the opportunities that the market provides. This allows people who own large volumes to manipulate the market and leave the rest empty-handed. Therefore, it is difficult for people to trust the crypto market in the form in which it is now located.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Mobile Mining exists at all? on: November 24, 2019, 06:37:23 PM
Mobile mining is becoming more and more popular, if only because mobile devices are becoming more and more powerful every year.  Some of them already have powers equal to old personal computers.  With the development of technology in the future, mining on mobile devices will become commonplace.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TRADING A SINGLE TOKEN IN BETWEEN EXCHANGES on: November 24, 2019, 06:02:49 PM

You can really make money on this, but a lot will depend on the speed of transaction processing and internal exchange transactions.  After all, the most important thing in this is speed.  Exchanges very quickly adjust exchange rates between each other, you can trite not have time for a few seconds before adjusting the rates.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: November 24, 2019, 02:30:52 PM
The profits from business with crypto are huge. If a forex trader takes 1 week to make 5-10% profit, with crypto they can earn up to 50-100% in just a few days or a week. That means better returns in the same time. In addition, crypto is not just a currency, it's a technology product.

Unfortunately, most people see cryptocurrency as the currency and nothing more.
Because of this relationship, people cannot fully trust cryptocurrencies because they draw conclusions about cryptocurrencies based on the stability of the exchange rate.

People primarily look at price dynamics to understand mechanisms that are extremely difficult, and sometimes impossible.
However, if people studied blockchain, and more time was devoted to understanding the essence of technology, then the number of people trusting cryptocurrency would increase significantly.
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you involved with Crypto? on: November 22, 2019, 04:25:55 PM
Every time the price of Bitcoin once again falls below everyone's expectations, the most terrible things come to mind and the worst thing is that cryptocurrencies have come to an end.
I am always very amused by such statements towards the cryptocurrency market and bitcoin in particular.

After all, if you stop for a moment and think about the fact that Bitcoin has existed for 10 years, and it is still alive, then thoughts about the imminent end of the market go by the wayside.
Unfortunately, most people have no time or desire to stop and just think.

But I am pleased with the fact that there are more and more such people capable of thinking, and they come across more and more on this forum.
477  Economy / Economics / Re: Where's my free money? on: November 22, 2019, 02:38:56 PM
Do you know really who is McAfee .I didn't remind where i have seen his prediction but all the prediction gone to the loss door .Had really any prediction been success by McAfee .I even still didn't find anyone who predict it perfectly .So i think its better to
make self research and trade.

Those who make predictions will still make these predictions come true. They usually do them only so that people continue to believe that cryptocurrency can bring them money in the foreseeable future.
McAfee is no exception. All forecasters are liars, more precisely, they themselves do not believe what they say. They just make predictions to create some kind of hype.

Not a single forecast of this kind has come true, it is possible that it will come true in 10 years. But in the foreseeable future it will not come true because the market is controlled by completely different forces that themselves create forecasts. And these forces are not interested in what you could easily earn.
478  Economy / Economics / Re: The Risks and Rewards of Cryptocurrencies on: November 22, 2019, 01:50:09 PM
Once again, I am convinced that cryptocurrency is a place where the concentration of risks just rolls over. And to blame for all the volatility of the market.
They turn the market as they want. It is impossible to predict something all the time. You have to rely on those things that the market is manipulated by those who have large volumes and they may want something.
In fact, it is very difficult to set and make forecasts of any kind in such a market. In view of this, the only less risky strategy is HOLD. Everything else is gambling.

480  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin goes down, no new rich people anymore on: November 21, 2019, 05:03:41 PM
I think this will be an opportunity for people who play with margins, even the lowest bitcoin price is the most awaited at this time, it is likely that bitcoin will not fall back below $ 5k, and they will only go long at current prices while suppressing liquidation lowest possible price. If bitcoin touches $ 11 thousand or more, you can imagine how many hundred percent it receives. There are still many ways to get rich, risk management will make you more familiar with the situation.
When bitcoin below $5k many people become poor, how many time bitcoin always have lower price but why can't back to higher price again, what problem faced by bitcoin without news banned from many country but bitcoin still down, does bitcoin have public in economic world meeting to make bitcoin can back to higher price again or not.

Only those people who lived at the expense of the money that they invested in bitcoin became poor.

In that case, why was it necessary to keep money in bitcoin?
They could have abandoned this adventure with much greater success, leaving everything in hard currency and living quietly on.

I believe that the money you invested cannot be considered money, because you can lose it with ease.
