Hello Team, I've set up a Ubuntu distroso i can run a VPN node. Is it possible to provide a guide how to install and run it? I tried reading the current guide in Github, but it is too complicated for a non-hardcore Linux user as myself.
Thanks in advance!
Please join discord and you will get live support :-) Huge thanks to MadderHat on Discord for guiding me throught the whole proces! It took me about 3 hours to install and set up everything due to my inexperience with Linux. However, the final result was success and my node is now online for testing. current map of online nodes can be seen here: http://nodes.lethean.io:8181/Also another thing that was not mentioned anywhere is, you have to pay 10LTHN per month to enable node running. I don't know how often it's being updated (my node is not visible there). If possible, please test it and provide feedback. Node name is Pingui

When the Ubuntu node guide will be updated? I tried installing it but it fails at the second step. From Telegram i learned that there was a change in the image file, but the errors happen way before that.
I want to run a node. Please provide feedback!

Sonm needs an android app and a windows desktop app. There is not a big enough market in Linux users, and most people simply can't be bothered learning to use it.
Around 80-90% of servers are now running under linux. Miners will learn how to use linux when it came to obtain more profits, isn't it? Considering how easy it is to install, configure and run linux, then doing the same for the server. Then solving all the dependancies, different distro files, different quirks, etc. v/s starting a pre-installed and configured image in some virtual machine under Windows, I would choose the second. If SONM team ensures the server runs on both Win and Lin, it would be best.

Team, you have to either simplify mining or automate it.
The curren situation is ridiculous. You are mining via wallet, but you also mine via external tool, which has two different options.
On top of that you can stake, and your mining profit depends a lot on your number of coins (if i got that right).
Meaning: if you have a small amount of BBP, no matter how hard you mine in Roseta, you still get small rewards.
Final result is totally unpredictable.

Is there a company generosity? I want to earn some XDNA coins!
The bounty company has already ended. You are late. It is possible that the XDNA project will conduct another company of bounty number 2. Look at this topic. The usual campaigns are over, but the team is running different kind of fun promotions. For now we're in the middle of a trivia contest. Every 2nd day there is a different subject in Discord's #trivia channel and we contest to answer 10 questions. The first one who answers correctly gets the points and then the top5 people are awarded XDNA. For the first 5 places, the rewards are 50/25/15/6/4 and for the grand finals the rewards are 100/50/25/20/10. The next trivias are, 21/09 - Trivia #13 - Theme: Music 24/09 - Trivia #14 - Theme: General Knowledge 26/09 - Trivia #15 - Super Grand Final with 30 questions (no theme provided) 18:30 UTC on Discord, come join us, I don't know anything about music anyway ^^ What a modern crypto looks like

I noticed i can mine about 35 to 40 Jse every 15-16 hours or so with the desktop app. are you getting similar results?
I get 30-35 JSE per day Please post also CPU, number of cores and clock used! Do you mine in paralel with something else?

Is CPU mining still viable?
If you consider your home CPU (4 core) it is not viable. If you consider a $5-600 CPU or a whole datacenter full of Xeons or Epycs and electricity paid by a company you work for, then it is pretty viable

Is it possible to run Mysterium in Oracle Virtual Box?

I've chosen JSEcoin. A webminable, practical replacement of web ads with CPU mining. It is consensual, meaning visitors will only mine if they want to. You can also integrate it to your websites to monetize them as a piblisher.

For a coin to survive any hard market conditions, it needs to be practical. That is why I invest only in coins which have practical use (exce[t coins which claim to be the next fiat money. they all suck and 99.9% of them will die). That is when I found JSEcoinIt is a CPU only minable coin which aims to replace nagging banner ads with web mining (only if you agree). It has an ICO which is almost at it's end. You can integrate it to your websites for monetization

Hello BiblepayTeam!
I'm trying to go over all the instructions to start staking and maybe start a masternode. I followed all the instructions, registered at Roseta@home, solved enough tasks to have 133 RAC and when i try to claim the 1000 BBP it says :
"Sorry, CPID does not have enough RAC (Rac is currently reading at -2). Please ensure you have switched your team to Biblepay, and your RAC > 100 in either Rosetta@Home or World Community Grid"
Requirements: !check - Your CPID must be a member of team Biblepay in Rosetta@Home or World Community Grid !check - You must have a CPID that has not been paid by the faucet previously ( I used the small faucet to get 1BBP fo activate ROseta in the wallet) !check - You must have more than 100 RAC in either Rosetta@Home or World Community Grid (have 133) !check - You must not be in any biblepay superblock as a researcher (i'm not) !check - Your IP must not have received a faucet reward in the past (I used small faucet to get coins for activating Roseta) (24 hours passed since RAC creation. (It may take up to 24 hours for your CPID and RAC to be inducted into the pool from our sancs)
Am I missing something?

I'm observing a strange phenomenon with the wallet. I'm syncing it for about 7 days now. I added sync.lethean.io for the deamon and it indeed speeded up a little bit. The thing is i was behind with only 42 days. After a week of syncing they are 16. But that is not the strangest thing.
The current balance is actually current, even being 16 days behind i still have correct balance in my wallet, despite the transactions were made last night.
Another quirck I found is that if I restart the deamon every hour, the days remaining move significantly faster.
Team, have you seen similar behavior?

I'm mining something more practical and electric bill friendly. It's called JSEcoin and it is a CPU only coin. You can mine it on any home CPU, no need for data center Xeons or Epycs. It barely touches the CPU and conserves energy. Just open a browser and leave it at the background. It's especially useful on utilising my work computer at the office I leave it on 24/7.

guys! WCG users, check Icesword on google... soon you'll be able to get another reward out of your WCG computing))) you just need a WAVES address =)
It looks way too scammy. There are 1000s of other "we'll replace the fiat" coins. And also way bigger and better.

Why it is so hard to mine this coin?
In every other CPU coin a 16 thread Ryzen kicks ass, in Hexx it's next to nothing.
Mining for 5 days to get 0.1 Hexx, when Hexx is less than a dollar!?
Global hashrate is still high compared to price, but its coming down slowly... https://chainz.cryptoid.info/hxx/#@diffYep, together with the number of transactions

What are you guys mining with the 3 Gb version in Windows 10 besides X16R which is a good addition to latest Nicehash and makes about 0.40 USD per card, I know it sucks but you can't expect more from a 3 Gb version now, with Zcash being totally dominated by the ASICS.
I am also afraid for the first time since I started mining that this maybe the end for SOHO-Small Office/Home miners. I hope I am wrong.
ethereum still works in linux/hive. Moved a few to Monero now....though performance is weak 5-600h/s per 50W is decent. But all coins are not profitable at the moment.

Hi team, ITNS wallet is updating for 3 days now. This is impossibly slow. I have only 40 days left and the three days of syncing managed to sync only ... 2 days!?
What if I'm in a hurry to sell when the price is right?
