461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever lost a bet in this way? on: March 05, 2021, 04:43:25 AM
Yep,  many times I have experienced to lose on my sports bet because the other team scored on final quarter. Of course, there is a regret feeling inside but I know that sports games are also unpredictable. Even you bet in the best team, you can't really know what will gonna happen to the game itself.

And countless times thar Ive been tricked also with those low odds team offered. Sometimes, lowest odds can't be trusted, too.
462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After Tesla, others began to pay attention to Bitcoin. Is this the future trend on: March 05, 2021, 01:43:06 AM
When there is smoke there's a fire. It means the hype of bitcoin has been well known lately thus big companies like Tesla are taking the considerations to invest in such new kind of asset like bitcoin. We actually started to adopt cryptocurrency in different aspects of use like digital payments, blockchain tech use, virtual asset, etc.

If today, the impact of bitcoin can be widely seen. What more in the future? Not just biggest companies will reconsider it but most of the nations will be united because of bitcoin.

464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newbie and very confused, please help. on: March 04, 2021, 07:49:37 AM
I just contacted the website ACR and they replied telling me they are having issues with their cashier services temporarily and they are fixing the bugs in the software right now.  I've just never had this issue before so I was very nervous.  Thanks everyone for your responses!

If ACR's support assure you that it may be fix soon then you just have to wait and your btc deposits will be credited soon. And just a reminder, coinbase prohibits any gambling site transactions. If your transaction now has been smoothly approved by coinbase, later on they will gonna freeze your account if they discover about ACR that is a poker website. Ive seen many conplaining their freeze account because of that issue.

Anyway, just wait for the ACR and chill at the moment. If they assure you that the problem on their side will be resolve soon, then it will just take some time.
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was invited to speak about Bitcoin to financial management college students on: March 04, 2021, 06:18:29 AM
It is indeed a priviledge that you'll represent bitcoin and will become a good btc influencer and be a tool to be an eye opener to those students who are interested to be a part of this advanced technology.

Is there a chance we can watch your speech (recorded) as I am also from the same country? Like @ddmrddmr said, give us some update how does it go after you engaged on that blockchain seminar as I am very much interested, too on how you instill these kind of new technology to the students.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Ethereum classic can be hacked, what is stopping someone from doing it again? on: March 04, 2021, 03:05:42 AM
Perhaps you can just leave that plan of buying ETC and just reconsider another coin to buy. (If you are planning of buying it for a long teem hold?
Shitcoin will always be  a shitcoin. I can't see any progress on them. And that attack on their network was just a proof that they have poor security system.

You can't definitely stop hackers from doing the hacks again. If they find an opportunity to attack, they will certainly repeatedly do it.
467  Economy / Exchanges / Re: USE BINANCE Trading on: March 04, 2021, 12:21:57 AM
Ive been using Binance for a long time and I can say that it is one of the best exchange that I've used so far. And adding binance leverage trading is one of the great feature they have been added as I am margin trader in the other exchange. With many coins available to trade and easy to use with of course reasonable fees, it was my first choice to use Binance.

If you've also heard about  that trading competition on their exchange that offered ONT rewards and it was just a cool idea to attract more traders. Also, you can actually do some btc transactions even without KYC or even with unverified account.
468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: who leads the frontline for the war against Bitcoin vs Government on: March 03, 2021, 10:40:27 AM
Other governments prefer bitcoin now while others see it as a threat. It's not a war between btc vs government who is an anti bitcoiner. They are just having a second thought to fully accept and implement it because there are still some issues using it by criminals and fraudsters.

On the other hand, I think the frontliners might be the ones who are already inside the government, the employees maybe or the one's that have a position inside of it that can fight and explain the essence and advantage of cryptocurrency.
469  Economy / Economics / Re: The bond market affects Bitcoin on: March 03, 2021, 08:20:12 AM
At this time where bitcoin has already gain power and reputation, the connection between those other investments are obviously present. Though they have different properties as an assets or investments but the connection that relies the price inflation rates has been seen already.

Institutional investors also look for the new investment which is cryptocurrency  where in they can benefit from the sudden inflation  movements compare to that of gold.
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What wallet has the most crypto alts supported with the lowest fees to swap? on: March 03, 2021, 06:00:02 AM
Been using different wallets to swap coins but most of them has a minimum amount to exchange coins plus the fees of course is a bit high for some exchanges that I have tried. Although Klever wallet exchange satisfied me because it offers fast transaction but they dont have that much altcoins on their platform.

Ive also tried freewallet but there are some issues I have been encountered from that so Ive been looking for other cryptoexchanges that has also smooth in exchanging coins plus reasonable profit.
471  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Nigerian crypto community to smile soon on: March 03, 2021, 03:24:53 AM
Instead of banning cryptocurrency related activities, I strongly agree that they may just take legal implementations to control unfavorable activity within the country.

Glad they made it into considerations to make other steps of legal actions. Nigerian traders will definitely be affected as Ive remembered how Nigerian central banks froze their account when they find out they about crypto trading activity. Recently they announced the crypto ban that made the nigerian traders triggered to voice out their feelings that's why they are making some reconsiderations now.
472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Great Awakening on: March 02, 2021, 09:24:10 AM
And I must admit that it is a fact that we can't deny of. Those companies, big exchanges and even whales that has huge amount of bitcoins will definitely influence the market's bitcoin price. And I have noticed that they can manipulate the price whenever they move their bitcoins. Actually, pump and dump existed long time and bitcoin wasn't an exemption.

And that 100k price at the end of this year will probably gonna reach if it wont go down at $20k level.
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Longest transaction confirmation time? on: March 02, 2021, 07:21:08 AM
I moved some BTC over 3.5 hours ago and it still doesn't have 1 confirmation.

What is the longest I should wait?

Always depends on fees you have chosen. If you were able to chose highest fee then miners will prioritize your transaction and will received your btc instantly. As far as I've experienced before, it took me 3, days before I received my bitcoin. That time, I have chosen the cheapest fee and bitcoin skyrocketed that time.

Anyway, you can just wait for that to confirm. That will take some days for sure.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What made you prefer Hitbtc over Binance? on: March 02, 2021, 05:51:13 AM
You've heard about hitbtc then most probably youve also heard about their "not-so-good" services. Reading previous complaints about slow withdrawal transactions about them.

Stick with the crypto exchange that has a good reputation like that of Binance. It also offers many good services unlike with the other platforms. You cant just go on and trust shady structures with bad reputation like hitbtc.
475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment is limited on: March 02, 2021, 02:44:29 AM
That's a deep questions.

As we all know, bitcoin wasn't still not yet well adopted by many people. Most probably the handicapped ones. They are the first one to struggle accessing and using this kind of cryptocurrency.

While if we look at the brighter side, it is certainly be a good help for some handicap person like that of blind man to have insurance or whatsoever that is related with bitcoin advantage. But, looking at it now it is hard to just connect it with people who have difficulties reaching new technologies.
476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Prompt the trading bot community on: March 02, 2021, 12:33:08 AM
Creating bots by yourself isnt that easy. You will create bots with your own style and techniques and of course with your own purpose. You can just buy some trading bots and if it satisfies your expectations and give you enough profits, then consider to continue using it rather than creating your own without enough knowledge.

477  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is in Step Cycle | Good opportunity for buying more! on: March 01, 2021, 01:16:44 PM
From new ATH reached $50k above then down to $45k as of now. We are still experiencing some downtrends and some traders tends to make a short entries. And of course thats a chance and opportunity to buy bitcoin.

But I am expecting for another correction testing the $40k below. If that happens, that's a good time to buy.
478  Economy / Economics / Re: holding bitcoin from early 2010 till today on: March 01, 2021, 11:09:40 AM
For me it is impossible, but I also don't know this is a fact that still holds bitcoin until now.

But there are still bitcoin holders from that year that still has bitcoin holdings until now. Those massive pumps of course will attempt them to sell "some" of their bitcoins but if they are true believers that bitcoin will hit huge pump price in the future, then not all of their bitcoin has been sold.

Well, we can't tell otherwise they prove it  but then I also doubt if they reveal that now.
479  Economy / Economics / Re: Why should i invest in bitcoin or other cryptos ? on: March 01, 2021, 08:12:14 AM
You misunderstood the capabilities of crypto investments. While you grab the opportunity of crypto market's volatility and you make a profits on that way.

Comparing the two different kind of investments will just give you wrong impressions or scattered understanding. Real estate investments like lands is way different from crypto investments.  Just so you know, if land gives you dividend each year. Crypto investments will also give you more than you expected and in a short period of time if you enter in a good time.
480  Economy / Speculation / Re: ARE WE STILL BULLISH OR BEARISH ? on: March 01, 2021, 06:14:04 AM
We are actually experiencing some bearish trends now. If that retesting some $40k areas, we can still experience some long bear market. We shall accept the fact that we can not always be on the bullish part. That 30% dropped makes the traders and  investors goes to panic but as I can see, bitcoin still strong to manage to go further above $50,k again.
