You are kind of fucked. Bought 2 at 2K but sold at loss to get out. The problem is that all this people buying for less will dump when they will get 2x their profits, 2K WC is not coming soon. What do you call not coming soon? Days? Weeks? Months? Has anyone here played the stock market? People would DIE for 10% return over the course of a year, yet when you come to the crypto community 100% is expected in days. Talk about a loss of perspective. You are crazy to compare this to stock market. Cryptos are gambling not investing. No real companies here, just "devs" who hide their identity and could run whenever they want. If Reddit communities actually have any effect on the value of a coin, then why has dogecoin and vertcoin continued to devalue? Their subreddits get the heaviest use yet both of those coins never met expectations.
Then take a 90% premined shitcoin like MarineCoin, with almost no Reddit subscribers, a dead bitcointalk thread and a ghost-town of and irc and the coin went to the moon.
Cryptos defy logic, and in my opinion a coins subreddit has zero to little affect on it's value. And lets face it, IRC is for militant fanboys vying to be the alpha-male/chief of the chat room.
We are doing great right here for now and don't listen to these plebs. This coin is 10 days old and this thread is on fire. Look at the blackcoin thread when it was 10 days old, it was more dead than Paul Walker, then they come in here trying to tell us what we need to do. Just ignore them and let things keep going naturally the way they are. We aren't even done buying in yet guys no need to get over zealous.
With the way these BC wagon-riders come in here all cavalier you would think that blackcoin was the cure for AIDS or some shit.

the blackcoin community is what MADE it happen. all of the people in this thread just saying: "yeah, we need to like make a community, so the price goes up" are missing the point. if you want it, DO IT.

To start Staking while retaining the security of your wallet, go Help>Debug Window. Now select the Console tab. Type the following at the bottom: walletpassphrase YourPassphrase 9999999 true Replace the YourPassphrase with your own passphrase. (the encryption password you added earlier on) The 9999999 relates to the amount of seconds that you wish to leave the wallet open for staking. Once you have added this hit Enter. You can begin to stake as soon as pow mining is done in about 1 day from now.  |

Can anyone comment on the Devs? After POW, the quality of the resolution of issues and what not can make or break the coin. I havn't seen much from them.
Devs are unavailable and/or incompetent (no fud) It's the reality, they are amateur level, just check IRC the coin will make or break based upon community participation only If the devs were to simply disappear would it be possible for other people from the community to continue development of WC? I mean do some of you guys have access to all the data and code for WC? Yes the source is there. However what on irc makes them seem amateur? Someone he quoted said that, he didn't. The devs seem fine. It seems like people want the devs to pop up in irc and in this thread 10 times a day to address fud and answer everyone dumb questions so they can get some kind of reassurance or something. While your wallet is unlocked and staking it is still encrypted. Unlocking the wallet for staking does not does affect the security of the wallet at all. |

It's not that hard. It was the same with the first releases of BC btw. If wallet is encrypted: 1.go to help-menu/debug window/console 2.type: walletpassphrase yourpassword 99999999 true ( 99999... is the amount of seconds your wallet will be unencrypted) there ya go. WC tipjar: WQGFFRFqvSmsst2vwkbsURsyoJ7pa1j33B Sorry but that's wrong. That is the command to encrypt your wallet while it is unlocked and staking. it does not un-encrypt the wallet. |

Why you keep saying that? Some people like to live on the edge. I hope it works out for you and that you can get a decent buy order in at that price. I decided not to be greedy with my price but to rather take less of a risk to get onto the train. I would rather buy my train ticket online and make sure I have a ticket than to stand in the queue at the train station and hope to get it half price at the risk of tickets being sold out before I get to the front. I thought we were always on a rocket to the moon, not a train. Unless that train is headed towards MONEYTOWN!
