464  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who else is short post halving? on: July 26, 2016, 08:06:34 AM
I've been modestly short since shortly after halving, and getting weary of the long wait for expected retracement back to sub-$600. Anybody else in this boat?

I think you are alone on this boat or with very few people in it. Why the price should go sub 600 in the first place ? There's no reason for such thing especially now that S9 Antminers are coming into the market which will add the price up as bitcoin mining will be profitable in the few months post the production of S9 Antminers. I am in a new boat. The one with 800+ price after the few months where S9 Antminers will be profitable and the volume will be high in the trading. In fact it already is.

i dont think we see a sub 600 any time soon, but then again i always keep some spare fiat to buy on a sub, but im not touching my coins yet.
I also waiting S9 & Avalon to come in play, leave your coins in peace and get some hands on with alts
465  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Mining in 20 years time on: July 26, 2016, 07:58:09 AM
i think in 20years we all go back to USB miners because it would be no profit for the power whores asic , and every btc owner will support the network with this little miners and here it comes the saying "That history repeats her self "  Cool
Lower hashrate lower diff so USB miner will get to work
466  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CRYPTOSDICE - Looking for partners/investors - Multicurrency dice site on: July 26, 2016, 07:47:47 AM
Every 16.6 months? No chance of investing and cashing out when I want?

How do I guarantee you will not run with my bitcoins?

Looking forward to get more information.

Please note: This is not a formal or guarantee that I will invest in your project, just trying to get some information to see if its worth the investment.

IF this project is legit , you will get your money back because in dice and such thinks you can take back your money much sooner than the 16.6months , but it seems this dev has "locked" the ROI formula in order to make up his ROI first and not by the same time with his investors, not respecting your investors is a bad ..

but what i dont get with the gambling site, is why dont you start your project with your own bankroll have faith on it and increase your bankroll by your self, plus keep all the profits the house..?!
You missing btc ? go take a loan! and all profit stays in your pocket
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would you store >100 Bitcoins? on: July 26, 2016, 07:41:47 AM

468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So, who actually MAKES MONEY with Bitcoin? on: July 26, 2016, 07:32:33 AM
well i believe the real money makers are first of all the hardware companies , gpu manufacturers (AMD card was on shortage back in the glory days , espacialy in 2013) asic manufacturers because they holding their golden hardware to mine for their behalf till the hit the market, then whale traders since they can manipulate the market, been there seen that (but im not one of them sadly Tongue ) and last but not least they people who offering their service for btc, so the last two categories are making money out of thin air.
469  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: CRYPTOSDICE - Looking for partners/investors - Multicurrency dice site on: July 25, 2016, 10:38:24 PM
We posted more information about parnters-investors

+INFO

We decided that this is the offer for partners-investors (conditions may chance until the final offer):

Partners-investors will own shares of the company called CRYPTOSDICE and receive monthly dividends from CRYPTOSDICE profits.

This is how profits are calculated: house edge = 1% - 50% of which is goes to CRYPTOSDICE (the other 50& goes to bankroll investors), also a 10% is used for affiliates-faucets and a 10% for costs of explotation (server, hosting) and ads. So basically:

cryptosdice profit: 0.5%
affiliates + faucets: 0.1%
service cost + advertisement: 0.1%

net profits: 0.5 - 0.1 - 0.1 = 0.3%

Then is just a question of how much volume is wagered every month. Let's suppose:

100 BTC volume = 0.3 BTC profits
1000 BTC volulme = 3 BTC profits
10000 BTC volulme = 30 BTC profits

CRYPTOSDICE has 1.000.000 shares, at an initial minimum prize of 0.0005 BTC/shares.
We are offering a maximum of 50% of the business, so 500.000 shares, but anybody can buy any amount from 1 to 500.000.

We will use the raised funds to promote the site, add new features and add new games. The target is to reach the 10000 BTC monthly volume, which will give an average 30 BTC of profits every month. In this case the dividend will be: 30/1.000.000 = 0.00003 BTC, so you get back your 0.0005 BTC (price per share) every 16.6 months.

Of course in the beginning the profits will be lower, but at some point they can be bigger than this. As an example PRIMEDICE has a monthly wagered amount of 40000-50000 BTC, and our site accepts 40 currencies, not just 1!

PM me if you are interested and how many shares will you like to buy. We are going to add a Partners section in cryptosdice.com (but only if we see that people are interested in this option). The section will allow to check the dividends and receive them automatically to your wallet, and also the option to buy-sell shares. For this last feature, I was looking a stocks service like https://cryptostocks.com/, but seems the page is not working well, so maybe is just create my custom one.

So you are looking for 250btc in other words & you are going to add another 250btc,
for me till i saw the site up and running its a NO go
plus dont compare a giant (Primedice) with an egg !
I bet you will get some investors eventually, but 16.6months is longgg time! and my opinion is the investor have the option to cash out anytime he wants, or you will have a buy wall (just saying) with 0.0005 per share ?

472  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best Bitcoin Trading BOT? on: July 25, 2016, 06:38:01 PM
What is the best Bitcoin Trading BOT?

When you mention trading 'bots' in bitcoin i feel a cold chill down my spinal cord. I was once a victim of trading bots and lost a lot of money on them. Some are designed to steal your bitcoins while others are just bogus scripts that do not have any value at all. if you are interested in trading bitcoins, you better do it yourself.

well if the bot you bought was from a legit developer and not some alt coin bots there where playing if you holding X amount of their coin, or some cracked bots they where on the market, that 5ppl where buy 1 license and someone crack it etc.
even legit bots need lots of setup & testing before it will go on live on the market, haasonline took me 2 weeks of testing my setup and then observe it for hours to see if it acts like it should be, i had profits but small ones, for example the trading limit was .2 on entire bot instance & max buy/sell was something like .005 max amount or 5% of total trading capital (.2)
because i had to be safe from pumpers & dumpers where abused bots, and since it was trading 24/7 and markets are not always that much active i had time limit transcations (no more than 2 transaction per 5min) plus it was needed to check everyday the new low/high estimates on each market in order to check if my securitys was right

You dont expect to buy a trading bot drop the funds and make you rich! right??
conclusion is every day i had 5-10% percent profit on the low days and iv reached some days 22%
Bots cannot double triple in 8hrs, you can!

Now expect from profit you can setup your bot to buy on dips , where you cant because you afk from comp or even you are watching another market etc.

best example of that is back on Zetacoin days with the series of South Africa (lol) at all that sell/buy panic, bot manage to get from 2500 flash crash, while 5k was the new low, so bots can support you also.. IF you spend a decent amount of time to teach them how..
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Ethereum on: July 25, 2016, 09:34:43 AM
Well bitcoin right now has the price & Etherium the fast development
the best thing you can do right now is hold both of bag and wait 5-10 years!
Btw i think ether has more potential to become the next train to insane profit
i filled my ether bag when the price was at .005 and btc price was hovering around 350 , last August
lets wait and see now.. but really i dont wanna see Btc Vs Eth but more likely co-op win-win game! Wink

478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: [ThrowBack] from $27 to $886,000 on: July 25, 2016, 06:24:18 AM
It's probably the same thing that's going to happen to people who start investing now and take another look to the price in 2020 or above .

I dont think that the same thing will be happened again in the future. Maybe bitcoin price will increase in 2020 but not that big as what happened to that guy.
But if you think that the same thing is going to happen, so you can start to buy and collect btc as many as you can and good luck for that if you are going to do it.
I agree with you, it's bad to repeat or just remember about the gold moment is past period. I think it's not possible to happen in the future because we know in this time the bitcoin is feeling comfort with her condition.

So soon in 5 years i dont think so either , but if you think we are still considered early adopters , ofc it is hard that much heavy markets to moved and from 650 goes to 6500 and its only 10 times up not even close to 10.000 times up like from 0.07$ to 700$, but i believe also this will not happen btc price reach 6.500.000$
So keep your eyes & ears open for an alt! its more close to reallity to hit the x100 multiplier !
479  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best Bitcoin Trading BOT? on: July 25, 2016, 06:12:54 AM
well i dont know about bots and i dont use it since i can online time to time and watch the flow the market price of a coin and i see someone selling but i dont bother to inquire cause i dont really believe that their is suprb bot can make us rich, if therr would really be i think they are richer by now and that is just only a myth i believe,

Bots are no use for always online people and dont buy if their is legit one because if you do it manually well you can learn and gathered more ideas about tradings.

I don't use bots and I have slight trust issues towards them. I don't know any serious and competitive free trading bot.
Bots are not that interesting for me because I am mostly online so I can react to price shift and observe markets with understanding, and this is feature that bots don't have.

you are both right! bots cannot make you rich , but the can save you time , and lets say setup to a well known market to you, buy low with micro buys and sell at fixed profit percentage , bots are not greedy! Wink
lets say you have to go to work or spend some quality time with your family/friends in the meanwhile bot can make you easy 10% profit trades, ofc you are not going for double, triple profit etc,
480  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the best Bitcoin Trading BOT? on: July 24, 2016, 08:00:19 PM
i really liked Haasbot, https://www.haasonline.com
but it is a little pricey because you dont going anyware with the basic version and you need the advanced license which is .45 for 3 months
plus they key for success and i mean small amounts trading for little profit is to tune it right , combined rules, auto sell/buy etc or else its another bot, and its a bad idea to leave your btc with bots ,
because do you remember the Cryptsy pumps ??  bots was going berserk  Cheesy
