I have a hand signed Canvas of 'Bitcoin Gameday Machine" by Josh Dykgraaf.

From the artist:

"Here's a project I just finished recently for yBitcoin magazine and Geniuses at Work (GAW), for the magazine's next cover. I had only 2 and a half days to make the image so this one sets a bit of a personal record.

The image features parts from skyscrapers and towers around the world and was a lot of fun to work on. The image was also created to tie in to the St Petersburg Bowl which is sponsored by numerous Bitcoin companies."

Looking great, is that a loaded 5 BTC Casascius or is it a blank?

Don't hype your own thread please. Doesn't look good

You must be mistaken, I'm not the OP. I'm a long-time lurker who decided to finally create an account and start posting. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Please ignore FFrankie, they can be a bit obtuse.

Nice looking collection so far OP I look forward to the auctions.

476  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Ballet's new pre-halving 2020 Bitcoin Block -- You can order now. on: April 24, 2020, 08:48:18 PM

you're complaining about stickers?

most physical bitcoins today use stickers to cover up the private keys. So you don't complain about that?

All of my BTCC Mint blocks from 2015 and 2015, both the 25+ BTC and the 12.5+ BTC, they ALL had stickers on them.
What's the issue with stickers on physical bitcoins?

Like I said, the shiny lettering "stickers" look GREAT in person.

Tamper-evident security holograms are much different than cheap stick-on numbers. These are not comparable when calling both "stickers"

What security features are present in this product that would make it nearly impossible to copy? How could someone purchasing this block not directly from you ensure the authenticity of the product?

This product is missing a very important "sticker" and IMO would be easy for someone to create a fake.  This is a serious issue when holding a large sum BTC.  I have no doubt the key generation is safe.

Please expand on why it "would be easy for someone to create a fake."

The private key is under a tamper resistant multi layer "sticker" - The BIP38 passphrase is under a scratch off - It's a large block of titanium with a fairly intricate die to stamp these.

Posting with your alt account... Wtf.

I have met both Bobby Lee and anonymousminer in person both on more than one occasion.  They are not the same person.
477  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WARNING] Sol Noctis Bull Coin Keys Compromised / Scam on: April 21, 2020, 11:40:25 PM
Hello everyone,

My update is not much of an update.

I have had several emails with my contact at Top World Coins which, like the previous Sol Noctis Binary Bull, was the company/distributor that commissioned the coins and distributed them.   They have assured me they are looking into how the coin in question was compromised.

I learned that the hologram and assembly was done by "another firm" but that is all I know.

My last reply from TWC was on 07 April.

I will update here when I hear more from them.
478  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Collectible Cards of Bitcointalk Users. on: April 18, 2020, 12:56:27 AM
Not on this forum but I'm a long term member elsewhere and if somebody is new I'd just let them know they can send an item and I'll pay on delivery.    Thats not unreasonable for established members and relatively low cost type stuff, obviously the seller might not want to proceed on that basis and thats fine also.    For trade work its often the case the job is done first and then payment is made.

Yep, what you describe is totally normal here and on other forums.  In this case a few of us let our guards down because the seller did not seem like a seller but more of a motivated community member.  The entire affair is quite disappointing; not necessarily for the loss of funds but for the loss in the ability to trust what seems like a wholesome newbie.

479  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Collectible Cards of Bitcointalk Users. on: April 17, 2020, 09:14:13 PM
I sent Basorexia a private message on 10 April requesting a refund for my physical card and toy.  I included a btc address.  That message, and a follow up today, have both gone ignored.
