Yeah, you and every other poker player who plays long enough will see countless hands play out like this. Never a surprise but it hurts every time. unfortunately Theres no way around these, some players are just gonna yolo. You shouldn't feel to bad, if you get your money in good pre flop against a hand like 6-2 that's the kind of amazing situation that as a poker player you want every time. Gotta take the good with the bad.

Just wanted to mention that I took advantage of this super bowl promotion and Vegas casino has reimbursed the lost bet of 100 mbtc and was able to withdraw quickly. I will be looking out for more promotions for vegascasino.io, this one was a great start! Thanks

Carolina Panthers @ 1.44
I think this is a sure bet and I'm diggin' it. I'm going to put all my cash to Panthers, I trust them a lot. Smiley

Oops, hope ya didn't put the house on this one my friend. I honestly expected the panthers to play a lot better then they did. I also bet a good chunk of money on them tonight and its a shame it wasn't more competitive. Something I noticed in the 4th quarter when cam fumbled he made really no effort to get in there and recover it at all, as a panthers backer I think he had a shot at it and I'm disappointed he didn't even try. Anyways, it was a decent super bowl. Looking forward to next year.
465  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bankroll management - Don't go bust all the time on: February 08, 2016, 03:58:03 AM
When browsing the threads around here I very often see people losing their entire stash of hard earned bitcoin on bets that were possibly not the best ones to make. In the past I used to play poker, and when studying strategies, the first thing that is basically hammered into you is bankroll management . After a little browsing I figured the same goes for sports betting and probably any type of gambling games.

Bankroll management:

The thing about bankroll manegement is that when you adhere to it, the risk of losing your entire stash becomes very small. It helps you choose the size of your bets and can help to keep your emotions in check on a winning or losing streak. In short, you have a playing strategy.

The first thing you have to do is determine the amount of bitcoin your can afford to lose. Let's say you have 1 bitcoin laying around for gambling. You don't want to lose that bitcoin in one sitting and preferably make some extra bitcoin from it right? So be smart about it!

To prevent you from making emotional bets you determine a strategy and stick to it! For most games it is advisable to never bet more than 1-2% of your bankroll. In this case it means to never bet more than 0.01-0.02 bitcoin on any single bet. After winning or losing 20% of your initial stack (1.2 or 0.8 bitcoin), you readjust the bet size to 1-2% of that value. This way, you are in control of your bankroll without needing to adjust the bet size every game you play.

The second important thing is not to vary your bet size in a single session . This can turn any winning session into a losing one VERY quickly. Imagine you would bet 0.1 bitcoin on the first bet and 0.01 bitcoin on the second and third bet. If you win the second and third on, but lose the first one, you are still behind even though you won more games than you lost. If you had bet the same 0.01 on all three bets, you would have been ahead!

Thirdly, make a plan for withdrawing and depositing into your gambling bankroll . Since the bitcoin on this bankroll are not needed and you can miss it (the principle of a gambling bankroll!), you should never HAVE to withdraw for any expenses. Since you don't want to risk bigger and bigger amounts endlessly if you are on a winning streak, it may be smart to withdraw an amount every once in a while. The amount and when to do this is up to you, but remember, the bigger your bankroll, the bigger your bets can be while keeping a strict strategy. As for deposits, only deposit what you can miss and set a maximum to it! If you are on a sig campaign, you could use your earnings for this. If you have leftover money that you don't have any use for now or in the future, you could use this to fund the bankroll. It is also smart to deposit (as long as you can miss it!) when your bankroll gets too small to make decently sized bets. If you lost 90% of your initial bankroll, your bets will be tiny. You may want to fill up in that case.

I hope some stricter bankroll management can help some of you and prevent you from going bust all the time. In the long run you will enjoy the gambling more as you have more control over what you do.

On a final note, remember to stick to your strategy.

That's awesome that you took the time to get this posted. Believe it or not I see sports bettors all the time have 0 idea what bankroll management is all about, and let their emotions get in the way so much that they blow their entire roll on what is supposed to be a lock. I have been using a similar bank roll strategy since I started sports betting and haven't went bust yet. I think if you use proper bankroll management its hard to actually go bust.
466  Economy / Gambling / Re: 4Grinz bitcoin casino on: February 08, 2016, 03:54:39 AM
I have never even heard of this casino my friend. You have got to be really careful when trusting some of these new casinos, if they want to then can decide to just shut down and take all the bitcoin. I think its pretty common, I have been burned a few times from brand new casinos. Not saying that's what happened here, but it wouldn't surprise me one bit. I hope that's not the case and you get your bits back.

How can you never heard about this casino? I think they make some huge giveaway to promote their site. But that is a long time ago and I dont know if the site still online or not because their thread seems to be dead.

So your saying they had a big promotional giveaway but that was a long time ago? and also the thread they have is dead? That's probably why I haven't heard of them. Anyway, glad to see this worked out for the OP, maybe now that I know about this site I will go in and check it out for myself.
467  Economy / Gambling / Re: Super Bowl 50 Discussion Thread - Carolina Panthers VERSUS Denver Broncos on: February 08, 2016, 03:47:40 AM
Denver's defense was just too good...

Peyton's last game?

I would think it has got to be, and what better way to go out than on top?? Don't like him much myself but you have to admit he's one of the greatest players of all time and he deserves this ring. I lost my bet but enjoyed the game and the super bowl party.
468  Economy / Gambling / Re: SUPERBOWL 50 FREE BET!! = Official VegasCasino.io thread - Viva Las Vegas Baby! on: February 08, 2016, 12:36:59 AM
Never got an answer about betting the spread on this matchup, would have been nice. so to be safe I just took the moneyline. Bets locked in and the games about to start. I hope for a panthers win tonight! good luck to all the bettors!
469  Economy / Gambling / Re: NFL 2016 Playoff Discussion on: February 07, 2016, 02:11:11 AM
Carolina Panthers will win the Super Bowl. I'm super excited to see Cam Newton doing his special celebration. Cheesy

I hope so. Not that I'm a big fan of the panthers all that much I just am not a fan of peyton manning. I'm betting pathers, I believe they are playing really strong football and will just be to much for Denver to handle. Should be a really good one though to watch. my prediction is Panthers 34 - Denver 27.
470  Economy / Gambling / Re: SUPERBOWL 50 FREE BET!! = Official VegasCasino.io thread - Viva Las Vegas Baby! on: February 07, 2016, 01:20:16 AM
This is a super awesome promotion! I will for sure be betting on this, I believe panthers have a great chance of winning anyway. I'm wondering are point spreads included in the promotion or just the moneyline bet? Also, say the panthers do lose and I get reimbursed the 100 mbtc are there strings attached? Like a rollover or anything stopping me from withdrawing? Sorry if this has been covered, I didn't have time to go through the entire thread.
471  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Bingo on: February 07, 2016, 01:14:44 AM
Hi,

any sites that offer Bingo for Bitcoin? I just have 2, I believe... Bitbingo.io and Bitcoinbingo.com

Any other gambling sites that offer Bingo?
I had a list for the casinos already (based from my last post) but no bingos.

Thanks in advance.
Fortunejack has bingo game, but unfortunately i see no one playing it.(people used to play when there was a competition now no one plays).

you have bingo game and many more in casino witch is in my signature Smiley
wish you luck Smiley
regards.
-Katerniko1

bingo not so popular than other games also i had play this game once but i don't understand how to play it a bit confused i think but if you're interested you can try play bingo at fortunejack

okay thanks, I will check on fortune jack bout this game. maybe also I can check the schedule. I wanted my grandma to use bitcoin also so Im looking for game for her hehehehe

That's an awesome idea to get your granny into bitcoin. Like some others are saying there might not be much popularity in playing bitcoin bingo. Are there other games that you think she would have some interest in? Seems like I remember a site that has like head up dominoes and battleship, games like that. I was able to introduce a few of my friends to bitcoin through poker, no chance shes a poker shark is she? good luck my friend.

Bummer that you missed the first matchup. Good luck to you joca97, if anyone can pull this off I believe you can. For the past six months or so you have had some really solid picks. Ill try to keep up with your picks and follow along. I haven't looked but how did your second matchup do?
473  Economy / Gambling / Re: hacked account in fortunejack on: February 06, 2016, 01:45:10 AM
Dang, real sorry to hear bout this lose. My question is do you play a lot of casinos or dice sites that you use the same information for? Like logins, passwords and emails? Hopefully you at least use different passwords. It seems reasonably likely that someone could have gotten your information through another site, maybe a less secure site. Hopefully someone can come on here and help you figure this out.
474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does sports betting works ? on: February 06, 2016, 12:44:41 AM
I believe there are actually sites that you can wager against other players. I honestly don't know much about it nor have I used them before but they are around. I think its more of a predication site than anything else but if someone wants to bet say the superbowl, you would be betting against a person. I would say most if not all the big bitcoin sites you will be betting against the house.

PIT Penguins @ TB Lightning    @ 1.63

While I think these look like decent picks there just is not much meat on the bone if ya know what I mean. I cant bring myself to bet on 1.16 odds. If you win, you win a little, if you lose you lose a lot. You said you have been doing this for 10 months and have a 40% ROI? Do you have any proof? I'm noticing that you are only betting 0.002 on each match. How do you expect people to follow your picks when your not even confident enough to put more then pocket change on them? Not tryin to be rude, this is just what I'm noticing. Good luck on your picks, I do hope you make it work.
477  Other / Archival / Re: Which one is more profitable? Skill-based games or Lucky-based games? on: February 05, 2016, 05:15:15 AM
Its gotta be more profitable to play skill based games. Although, any random joe could win a jackpot of something like slot machines or lotteries but in the long run I think your spending much more then your winning. I personally would much rather play $100 of poker than to put $100 into a slot machine.

I haven't had a chance to go back and look through all the pages of this thread but I gotta say this looks pretty good. I put the site in my favorites and will be checking back daily if I can. I'm interested in the premium picks. Again, I haven't been following yet but do you release a few premium picks a week? Looking forward to jumping on this train. keep it up.

Think I gotta back the knicks tonight as a dog.

Trying to decide how much first half vs game vs money line.

Thinking of +4 100 +2ish fh 60 and money line 40

I found a site where I was able to get good odds on +5 for tonight. I think this is a winner, got burned on the clippers last night but was still able to make a pretty good sized bet on this matchup. Good luck to us tonight!

Are you willing to entertain offers or is this $300 price tag firm? Looking at the current market this is a pretty good price, I might consider in a few days if this is still available. I will check back here later on. thank you.
