461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO can be a safer investment option than ICO on: July 15, 2019, 10:37:13 PM
Well I don't really think IEO is at the point we can say it is a safer investment option comparing to ICO. IEO is just an upgrade of ICO and there is just a little different between them. In as much that IEO presents some kind of transparency where investors can actually see the progress of the crowdfunding, this doesn't guarantee that the project will be successful and whether investors can  make profit out of their investment.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think of ETH Price will be by end of 2020? on: July 14, 2019, 11:59:41 PM
No one can actually predict the possible market value of Ethereum for 2020. The crypto ecosystem is currently unpredictable considering the price changes of most altcoins as of january 2019 till now. But the possible assumptions that can hold is making estimations in a range of possible prices. Based on my personal observations, the possible range of price I see Ethereum attaining in 2020 will be between $250 to $700. But for the actual price value, no can predict that.
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dead? on: July 14, 2019, 11:16:48 PM
Considering crypto projects launched in this year (2019) and how these projects raised funds to support their platforms and ideas, I can strongly conclude that ICOs are dead. IEO is currently the most trusted crowdfunding avenue for project teams to get investors on broad to support their project by buying their tokens or coins. IEO provides investors with detail info on the amount of tokens sold and the amount of it remained and also the total progress of the project. Investors prefer that over ICO which do not provide enough info regarding the token sales and the progress of the project.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Trump is tweeting about Bitcoin O.O thoughts? on: July 12, 2019, 11:57:47 PM
Trump just tweeted about Bitcoin and his dislike of it. I think it's clear it wasn't him who typed it up, but what do you guys think? Crypto Twitter unite??

Tweet text:
I am not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies, which are not money, and whose value is highly volatile and based on thin air. Unregulated Crypto Assets can facilitate unlawful behavior, including drug trade and other illegal activity. .Similarly, Facebook Libra’s “virtual currency” will have little standing or dependability. If Facebook and other companies want to become a bank, they must seek a new Banking Charter and become subject to all Banking Regulations, just like other Banks, both National and International. We have only one real currency in the USA, and it is stronger than ever, both dependable and reliable. It is by far the most dominant currency anywhere in the World, and it will always stay that way. It is called the United States Dollar!

Only short minded people think this way about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Its high time people in the crypto space to avoid encouraging ill things crypto haters say about cryptocurrencies. These people don't know anything about the purpose of cryptocurrency.
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why president Donald trump is not a fan of bitcoin? on: July 12, 2019, 11:39:54 PM
Donald Trump tweeted that “ He is not a fan of Bitcoin and other Cryptocurrencies,

Who cares whether he is a fan or not. I dislike people who don't even make an effort to learn or read about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency before making silly remarks about it.  Why should we waste our time to even think about his silly tweet he made whiles he doesn't give a f**k about the entire crypto space.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is the prediction of ethereum as of now? on: July 11, 2019, 11:58:20 PM
I had higher hope for Ethereum from the beginning of the month of July,2019 that it might hit $400 in the first quarter of the month. But Looking at the crypto market as it stands now, I see Ethereum dropping to $240 and will later start raising at the latter part of July or within the first week of August. If you haven't bought some yet, now is the good time to get some before the bull run starts again..
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Trust a Project Announce BY A Legendary Member on: July 08, 2019, 11:48:02 PM
Personally, I don't really look at the rank of the person hosting or launching the project on this forum. I mainly check out the feasible of the project in the crypto space and the entire world in general.  I'm more of an ideologist. I only trust the main concert behind a project than the person hosting or announcing it here on this forum. People who announce project of this forum are more concern about the money they receive to announce the project than the main purpose of the project to the entire crypto space...
468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to understand risk in crypto on: July 08, 2019, 11:38:11 PM
In cryptocurrency, risk is simply defined and explained as the probability of either increasing or decreasing the amount of funds you have in your wallet by either hodling and buying more or selling your crypto coin as a moment in time. The basic requirement needed to understand risk in the crypto space is knowing what influence the raise and fall of the market value of most crypto coins and understanding the patterns in the trend of the price value. In order to understand this, massive research on the crypto market is the key...
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin with real gold on: July 08, 2019, 11:27:05 PM
Why peole always comparing bitcoin and gold?

People compare Bitcoin to gold because gold is the perfect investment item that has a lot of people investing into. Considering the crypto space, Bitcoin is also the coin most people in this space largely invest in. Since there is some similarities between them making Gold the perfect item to compare Bitcoin to.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Explaining the consequences of KYC on: July 08, 2019, 11:02:29 PM
In my own point of view, I see nothing wrong with the use of kyc in the crypto universal. I believe is the key necessity needed in eliminating  criminal activities in the world and that of the crypto space. This will help in the tracking of funds stolen by hackers in any cyber attacks and hacks on any crypto exchange or platforms. But I think KYC needs a good re-brand to help people understand its true purpose and advantages..
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin will to the moon? Trust me!! invest now before you regret it. on: July 07, 2019, 11:54:40 PM
Well, this is just someone's assumptions. In this crypto ecosystem, someone's predictions or assumptions may or may not come to pass. It is always better to do your own research and monitoring the crypto market in order to  identify patterns regarding the rate of price changes.  Litecoin looks promising but relying on someone's assumptions is not always the right way.
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: July 07, 2019, 11:15:04 PM
Regulation of cryptocurrency simply means giving a central authority or a third party  the power to control the amount  of  funds sent or received and the amount of it in circulation. This goes against the main ideology of the creation of cryptocurrency and the whole idea of decentralization. The crypto ecosystem needs no regulation, people need to understand the real purpose and use of cryptocurrencies.
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it safe to buy using Bitcoin on: July 06, 2019, 11:57:03 PM
The crypto ecosystem is made up of some people who are just interested in scamming others for their funds or digital assets. In as much that a website accepts payment in Bitcoin does not guarantee that it is safe to make transactions on the platform. Please research enough about any website before deciding to make any form of transactions on their platform.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin season is not here yet. on: July 06, 2019, 11:39:04 PM
For altcoins to start surging in price bitcoin is always the one to take the lead first ,altcoin season is not here yet so let's stop complaining ,wait patiently for altcoin season to return if not then don't bother investing in altcoins and go for bitcoin full time

I don't really think I will agree with you on this. Considering the changes in the trends in the market values of most altcoins such as ripple, we are currently in the altcoin season. You just need to know what altcoins to invest in. Also spend some time monitoring the crypto market to know what altcoin to invest in..
475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using BTC to send funds cross-border (in current day) on: July 01, 2019, 09:53:02 PM
Bitcoin is the best alternative way to send funds easily across borders with no restrictions.  You just have to educate the person receiving the funds on Bitcoin and how easily it is to receive and withdraw the funds..
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is irreversible: strength and weakness on: July 01, 2019, 09:35:37 PM
In as much that Bitcoin transactions are not reversible, it has more advantages than its weakness. But I believe a solution will be made available as the crypto world develops as years pass by..
477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is better than gold and USD? on: July 01, 2019, 09:12:41 PM
Bitcoin, gold and USD have their own unique characteristics that make each of them  different in their own way. In my personal view, Bitcoin is an alternative form of USD or money. Bitcoin can be a good form of money but a bad form of asset to invest in considering the patterns in the rate at which its market value keeps changing. But Gold in the other hand is a good investment asset..
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Xbase is the best coin to buy now on: June 30, 2019, 11:52:25 PM
You can just conclude without providing enough information to back your suggestion. Xbase  has good potential of becoming a good coin to invest in but I don't really think it is the best coin to buy and  invest in. There are a lot of crypto coins that have better potential than xbase.
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Beware of ieo exchanges on: June 30, 2019, 11:22:23 PM
Investing in cryptocurrency has its own risk associated with it. In as much that IEO is currently the trending option to invest in crypto projects, you as an investor are in charge of your own safety. Its high time people spend some time to study and read about projects before they invest in them.
480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin remains the king of Crypto Market? on: June 30, 2019, 04:15:24 PM
You don't need to ask such questions if you know and understand the genesis of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.  Bitcoin is the undefeated champion when it comes to the king of cryptocurrencies.  Bitcoin will always be the king no matter the situation of the crypto ecosystem.
