461  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Why Crypto Exchanges Should Lower Their Fees and Profit Margins on: December 12, 2019, 08:46:11 PM
I usually do avoid exchanges with high fee, but look at this: If you have less traders with low fee, then they may not last  much in the business. Centralized exchanges are very expensive to maintain, they need to be on the latest technology to meet up with security, except they have large volume of trades. But I hate exchange with high fees like LUNO is super expensive in my country.
462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really still decentralized?? on: December 12, 2019, 07:29:16 PM
Bitcoin has always and will forever be decentralized. No one has single control of the network not even the US or the Chinese miners, for you to be profitable in mining, you need a specialized mining machine like the Asic miners. The distribution of bitcoin mining reward per block is decentralized, so no miner can lay claim to every 1,800BTC reward per 24hrs, which is approximately 12.5BTC per block for every 10mins. What usually case price dump and sudden rice is just what I will call emotional trading occasioned by majorly by FUD. This somewhat price manipulation is expected because of still developing bitcoin market. Even the stock market is based on speculations, the strong always win.
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which wallet is best for ERC20 tokens? on: December 11, 2019, 02:48:40 PM
I currently use Imtoken 1 and 2.0, but Trust wallet is rated to be far better than Imtoken but at present my my phone doesn't support the current version of trust wallet. Nevertheless, both are apps as they don't have web based services.
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Projects that failed to keep their promise in 2019 on: December 11, 2019, 02:45:43 PM
Only have heard of Sero but neither did the bounty nor airdrop. I actually was expecting to see how they didn't follow their road maps and some other major target. When it comes to airdrop and bounty, I don't place premium on pay because it can go either way.
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Swiss Startup Amun Wins Regulatory Approval to Sell Crypto-ETPs to EU Retailers on: December 11, 2019, 02:41:46 PM
Such positive news is what is needed in this space and not wallet hack and whale alerts. It's a process of continues mass adoption which will lead to a wider Cryptocurrency participation, and eventual price growth.
466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So Italy is now anti-cash and pro-Bitcoin? on: December 11, 2019, 02:34:57 PM
This policy is already on in some nations of the world, and they call it cashless society, although the amount of cash varies per countries and in my country for example and in some states, extra charges are uncured by defaulters. This really doesn't mean they love bitcoin, but with time, they should embrace crypto as a better option to fiat.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: please help me about bitcoin atm! SCAM or No on: December 10, 2019, 03:00:10 PM
This is a cheap scam. How can you send him money to confirm transaction before sending you $30k? Do you have any business deal with him or what? You had better be careful of cheap tricks, I get many persons on telegram asking me to send them money before sending me bitcoin that their bitcoin is stuck. Even though I have never use a bitcoin ATM but this is a clear scam scenario.
468  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ideas for a bitcoin Job or site! on: December 10, 2019, 02:55:56 PM
I think all possible works related to crypto have already been invented.

This is very far from the truth, we live in a dynamic world, and things are always undergoing evolution and improvement, we only need to be innovative. For example how do we always send and receive bitcoin in an area without the internet? and much electricity! There are more job to be done.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best ways of bringing Bitcoin to non-crypto users on: December 10, 2019, 02:51:50 PM
I have a bitcoin banner at the front of my shop for who cares to learn about it, and if anyone wants to pay me with bitcoin, why not! I am doing best to make some of my customers see why they should start looking away from the fiat, but this will take time because of bitcoin's high volatility, but we shall eventually get to the promise land.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fight against Bitcoin is coming. Are we ready?! on: December 10, 2019, 02:48:13 PM
Don't worry about that, there will be no serious issue. Everyone who has strongly opposed bitcoin usually later back off when they see that it's unstoppable and never dies. More anti-bitcoiners means more success for bitcoin.
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just earned my first 9$ in Bitcoin Cash, how can I grow it? on: December 08, 2019, 07:46:28 PM
$9 will take years to be worth anything. You either buy bitcoin with it or you look for any good promising coin with a low value but just ensure you don't buy shitty scam coin.
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: p2pb2b is doing shit again on: December 08, 2019, 07:39:45 PM
P2Pb2b is another exchange that has been severally accused of fake volume and bot trading. They careless what they list like Mercatox back in the days of self-airdrop. Shitcoin creating money from thin air and killing investors, a bad game.
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The importance of bitcoins :) on: December 08, 2019, 07:30:55 PM
Bitcoin is a good source of income, while it equally helps to transfer money across border without any restriction or fear of monitoring. Once one has tasted the gain from bitcoin and its undisputed technology with all the many buzz in this space, one can't resist a continuous investment in bitcoin.
474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin addresses hits an all time high! on: December 08, 2019, 07:21:39 PM
Increase in bitcoin addresses might not mean increased users, it could just be the same people creating on different wallet provider. No doubt more persons are increasing interested in bitcoin but some express caution on its volatility. I daily get people who wants to know what bitcoin is but think it's a quick rich scheme!
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is happening to new projects? on: December 07, 2019, 08:10:58 PM
Just as we have new good projects, likewise we have old good projects which are struggling for survival because of the bad situation of the market. Tell me, just the way the market looks, how do we keep get cash-flow to new projects? We just need a mass adoption for things to come back on track otherwise money can't be minted from thin air to help new good projects.
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Recent Icos facts on: December 07, 2019, 08:05:11 PM
Many ICO will continue to scam people, their major aim is to scam the people and that is all. I know of an exchange that keeps conducting an IEO and sometimes pump hell off the coin and will later dump before conducting the next IEO, anyone who is lucky just make money. I see some ICO/IEO as a form of technical Ponzi.
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's up with Ethereum? on: December 07, 2019, 07:59:06 PM
Ethereum has not been impressing as I have expected the price to have moved. It has consistently dip and under-perform against the bitcoin which has been making investors have conflicting thought either to hold or sell for bitcoin. Well ETH remains a coin to beat.
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO/IEO projects are lying to airdrop and bounty participants for a long time! on: December 07, 2019, 07:53:49 PM
Your analysis is very valid. These days, I just participate in airdrop and bounty as a side hustle not really expecting much from the campaign because all you keep getting from campaigns are just heartbreak. Yet when they are asked to pay in stable currencies, they will reduce the reward to almost nothing.
479  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase Holds a Whopping 966,230 Bitcoin ($7B) in Cold Wallet on: December 02, 2019, 07:36:16 PM
From the analysis of Kprawn on Coinbase cold wallet and its mutisignature, it will be impossible for just one nothing CEO who is feeling good to just run away with the private key, since this requires a consensus. I really don't know why people will leave fund in an exchange with sole private key holder. This is dangerous and any stupid CEO with such power can pull the trigger when he feels good.

It's equally very important to have much of our fund on non-custodian wallet so we can be in-charge of our wallets.
480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest Shopping Mall in USA Goes All in BTC ATMs for Holiday on: December 02, 2019, 07:21:43 PM
This is continues development of the space and a sound way of telling the public that bitcoin is alive and doing well. I just love bitcoin steady and continues movement to the mainstream despite all the FUD from the haters of decentralization.
