As i know this is optimised version for CPU's which support AES-NI instructions... yes with with 1.2 my i7 3770 hits 908khash/s but with 1.2b elmad is saying he gets 1000khash/s im just trying to get the best out of this cpu I can. I tried to comply source but isn't working for me Elmad said he would post windows version with enough support from cpu miners . Yesterday I did a little more optimization on the code, so I'll release windows binaries today. The news is that I'll release a binary version also for CPUs not supporting AES-NI instruction set Good news ! In a future version, could you add groestl algo ?

I'm voting 6 times several times a day, but the best option will be to make a donation to mintpal. I'm ready to give some Q2C (20~30K) or BTC (0.03 for now) to help. If we reach 1 BTC, we are sure to get on mintpal. Maybe someone, or best, Krecu, can set up an address for donation - Or we can donate directly to the mintpal donation adress and someone post here a recap of all the donation ? each 0.000005btc = 1 vote We need 20000 more vote to be sure

Question (to which I cannot see the answer in this thread)
When the limit of 248 Million coins is reached what happens ? Is there a minimum indefinitely continuing block reward (inflation ), or does mining stop ?
Good question ! I do not have the answer myself, if someone can light us ?

@MarcusDe Multiple GPU Rigs, but workers are banned a lot of time. P2pool doesn't have this problem.

Please vote on the exchange https://www.mintpal.com/voting. Who can help in the promotion, but who can list the BTС at the following address 1DxGAdbhDW1iJxPvHuAFcv7biLTLtCjVge Each 0.00005000 BTC received will count for 1 vote!!!Maybe we can send donations to Krecu on a dedicated Q2C address, and when it reach enough to make a difference, he convert it to BTC and make a big enough donation to Mintpal to make Q2C added to this exchange ? I think if we reach 1BTC, it will be enough (+20000votes) Actually (but the price is going up slowly), 1BTC =~830k Q2C I'm ready to give at least 10k Q2C for that. What do you think about that ? Krecu ?

Is it normal that sometime the wallet says me "transaction too large" and refuse to send the coins ?
|
|
|
For solo mining, in the wallet, is there a command to see the hashrate or something like that ?
|
|
|
with the introduction of GPU miners there is no more convenience in CPU mining..
i'm quitting this coin.. in 24H i did just 17 coins... (with 24 cores)..
bye guys...
this was the perfect example of how to kill a good coin :|
i will keep the wallet to see the value in 6-12 months..
It's the end of CPU mining, not of the coin.

Now I think real problem is not GPU-miner itself but broken pool code.
F.e. pool is constantly temporary-baning my miner, but if I restart it it works just fine, giving accepted shares. It wasn't giving only shitty shares, it was giving real blocks to the pool, with efficiency compared to hashrate on miner itself (not what pool was showing) and it was higher than all cpu miners together.
For me its pool job to make it work, not miner program. Its normal that people want software which give them more profit.
Lets compare to primecoin algo., which is and will be cpu only long, long time. You found 6,7,8,9 and 10-chain shares. But mining on pool gives you 0.0001 reward for 6, ten times more for 7, and so on.
Here with q2c yo can flood pool with any-kind-of-crap and reward is still same.
Update your gpu miner, or use a p2pool.. No more banned worker

Huge dump.. Some are selling what they mine with their gpus.. Time to buy I found a reason for this, it should be fixed now. Did you make a new version ?
|
|
|
I'm on mine-pool too. I use the setx command already.
You do not have HW errors ??
EDIT: crashes on my 2nd PC come from the version of zlib1.dll, use the one posted here one page ago
Please Try GPU miner on P2Pool http[Suspicious link removed] --kernel qubitcoin -o 46.36.218.180:9372 -u YOUWALLETADDRESS -p X -d 0 -I 13
It says : "pool 0 slow/down " etc then black screen On third attemp, it connect, but all shares are rejected, and only HW GPU miner for q2c its experemental and need testing on all gpu... 100% work not garanted tested on 3 computers : 1st : 1 x R9 280X : only HW / rejected. 2nd : 4x R9 280X : sgminer crash at launch, even when i try to use only one card (-d 0) 3rd : 1 x HD5970 + 1x7850 : only HW errors I guess i should work for some.. on my pool, someone has 255MHs o.O

15 min after using sgminer u get saying that your miner is banned .....
well if you just close and open everything will be good ...
but that mean ... u have to close and reopen every 15 min
No, that mean you send only invalids shares. If you are banned, it"s not good... Look at your HW rate : if it's not 0, it's not good. Look at your accepted shares too (must be >0)

On another computer, sgminer crash at launch.
i can use gpu mining on it (cgminer, karloth, sgminer etc) without problem, but not this fork. Launching sgminer without argument make it crash too (0xc0150002)

|

hum, for now, i only have HW errors.. huge hashrate, but..only HW. I tried different commands but..
|
|
|
Thanks a lot! For now, gpu mining is less profitable on Q2C than on other altcoins, but it's a good thing i think to have it. EDIT : only give HW, no shares. Crash/can't be launch on some PC (don'y know why run on certain and not on other - same OS)

Thanks a lot to you phm !
i regret to do not know how to compile windows binaries, i really have to learn that.

Can someone post windows binaries from the last Elmad optimised miner? AND shg miner GPU miner for both darkcoin AND QUBITCOIN is available. Here are the sources : https://github.com/prettyhatemachine/sph-sgminerCan someone be kind enough to compile windows binaries from the sources and share it ?
