461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is the right time to start investing in Altcoins? on: November 03, 2017, 10:50:09 PM
Altcoins are dying now, i would not invest a single dollar in them, i understand they are profitable as fuck, but it doesnt mean that we have to put ten thousand dollars in a random coin only to pray to see it going up by 2x or more. I have some ethereums right now, and the only reason that i am not selling them is because i am afraid of seeing them at $500 before 2018.
The best investment right now is bitcoin, and everybody agrees with me, because bitcoin has always been the king.

462  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Start to mine cryptocurrencies on: November 03, 2017, 10:35:15 PM
If you have that budget just mine with your gpu, but i dont think that you are going to make a lot of profit because you can only invest 500 bucks, and it is not a huge amount of money.
Maybe you can buy 2 gpus which both gives you $100 a month, or maybe a little bit more.
Take a look at the mining section on this forum, there are a lot of people who will help you to build your own rig.
good luck mate, and try to invest a little bit more if you want to make your roi faster.
463  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchanges High Withdraw Fees on: November 03, 2017, 10:15:45 PM
Poloniex withdrawal fees are still 0.0001 just as they have been for more than months, maybe since they are online. And 0.0001 is almost $0,75, i dont see it very expensive.
anyway, the fees are pretty high right now, not just for bitcoin, they are so expensive, i just sent a payment of about $50 to a guy and it costed me about $5,20 to make that transaction.
but i dont care, bitcoin is rising a lot so i dont have anything to complain about.
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Campaign on: October 31, 2017, 11:31:07 PM
Yes, there are several ways in which you can help the ico or maybe a project to advertise if by facebook, instagram, twitter and by signature campaigns.
But i dont suggest to anyone to use those bounties, because you are always going to be payed once that the ico is finished, and it means that your payment is not going to be fair, i mean, maybe you are expecting to receive 1000 tokens at $1 each, and when the token is listed maybe they are worth $0,50 each one.. this is why i dont like to join bounty campaigns..
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: airdrop on: October 31, 2017, 11:20:52 PM
It depends, those coins are probably not listed on any exchange and they can not be runned with GAS, so if it is an ethereum's token you will have to wait some hours to see it reflected on your wallet or in your transaction history. but honestly, why are you going to be on an airdrop? it is not worth your time, you are probably going to receive those useless tokens who are probably not even going to be worth a dollar in a few months.
Better to invest some money and try to use it to make more money on a near future..
466  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too early vs late to buy bitcoin? on: October 31, 2017, 11:08:13 PM
I think that it is still too early to buy bitcoins, but it is upto you, it has increased a lot during the last two days, and you can see it by yourself if you look at the charts.
anyway, i am still buying some bitcoins and i am looking for selling them right after away that the price reaches a fair price for me, but i dont know, it has a very good potential and it seems that it will keep rising during the next months. but honestly, who knows how much can bitcoin increase? nobody knows exactly.
467  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: long term invest in bitcoin on: October 31, 2017, 10:58:11 PM
You could just bought yesterday and now you could be in a profit of 5% at least, because bitcoin was $6100 yesterday and now it is upto $6400 each btc, you should try to buy as soon as possible, and yes, a new fork is coming and it seems that bitcoin will keep rising during the next days until a few days are left for the fork to happen.
Just buy, you will never regret of an investment in bitcoin, it is always going up and there is no way that you could lose your money.
468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any one effected? on: October 31, 2017, 10:34:16 PM
It is fine for me, i dont think that those are bad news because they are letting know their users that probably they are receiving a pishing attack, i received that email too, but i am not using xapo at the moment.
It is good to hear from that, blockchain wallets are one of the most pished ones and i have never received a warning email like this one, so this is good for xapo because they are one of the first in saying this.
Anyway, i didn't opened that email, maybe it is another pishing email and my wallet can be compromised, those people are very smart nowadays.
469  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of a bitcoin on: October 31, 2017, 10:21:45 PM
We dont know how much it will be worth in a few months from now, and even in a few years, but of course than when the whole world will start using bitcoin and accepting it as a payment gateway it will go up like crazy, and we all know that it is going to happen in a few years from now.
There is a rumour about that amazon will start accepting bitcoin on their platform, just think about it, bitcoin will increase a lot of it is true and they will acept it.
470  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin actually just a Investment coin? on: October 31, 2017, 10:00:30 PM
It is difficult to understand that but yes, actually a lot of people are introducing theirselves only to make money from it, not to take advantage of the uses of bitcoin and the whole cryptocurrencies in general.
A lot of people are only buying bitcoins to increase their portfolio's money, so i am not impressed for saying that bitcoin is just like an investment, but the main idea of bitcoin was just to be like a new "currency" only that it is digital..

Well initially as I understand it, bitcoin was designed to be a P2P and not as a investment. But lately, when the price soars and the big boys comes and join the fun, bitcoin became as a investment platform. That's why its gonna be hard to attain it as mode of payment now because its now treated as a investment instrument by the super rich.

Yes of course, bitcoin has been created only to revolutionate the way of sending money, receiving, and a new way to stop banks, but people has changed that during the years, people are only investing because they see that they can be so rich just by buying and waiting some time. And i not saying this because this is what i think, i am only saying this because you can see it on every thread that talks about the price of bitcoin.
This is annoying, but anyway, those kind of people are those who keeps the price high.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My bitcoins are stolen on: October 30, 2017, 11:05:07 PM
Yes, it doesnt matter if you provide to us the transaction id and your bitcoin wallet, there is no way that we can recover those bitcoins because you should know that bitcoins are untraceable, so we can not recover those coins again.
It is your fault, you should try to improve your security and try to be more updated about that , there are a lot of ways to make your wallet much more secure than now, you should try to make your own research through your own wallet..
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Please suggest me which altcoin is best to buy now on: October 30, 2017, 10:25:05 PM
The best coin that you can buy right now is Ethereum, it is very cheap right now (below $295) so if you want to make a good profit once that the next fork is over, the best option for you is Ethereum.
If you want to be much more safe, then invest that money on Bitcoin, you all know that bitcoin is unstoppable, there is no way that altcoins can rise faster than bitcoin (well, in some cases they did)
Just take a look on bitcoin or ethereum, they are the best ones.
473  Economy / Speculation / Re: Since B2X will not have replay protection... on: October 30, 2017, 09:44:24 PM
I did not understand it well, so it means that for every b2x coin sold there is going to be a bitcoin sold? This sounds strange, anyway, it can not happen because it means that segwitx2 is going to have the same market capitalization as bitcoin does, and it doesnt.
But yes this is strange, a lot of people are thinking that they are going to receive those tokens for free, and it is all the opposite.
I dont know, i dont think that it is 100% true.
474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Coinbase statements on Segwit2x on: October 30, 2017, 09:27:23 PM
Far as i know they dont have the same blockchain after all, coinbase has always been shady for me and i have never trusted in that shitty exchange/wallet or whatever is it.
But it is good to hear that they are going to distribute b2x to bitcoin holders, they didn't do it with the previous fork of bitcoin gold, and it is nice to see that they are going to support this new fork.
They are crap, i know that, but it gives us more confidence about the forks.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Goodbye Blockchain. Hello Hashgraph. on: October 29, 2017, 10:50:39 PM
If Hashgraph has a better technology than blockchain,  has, is there any coin already built in this technology? Anyway whatever happened, let us always be ready. Im planning to invest a little from this.
Yes they were going to offer an ico for this kind of project, but i dont know.. if there is something much more better than the actual blockchain, why haven't they developed it already? why did they waited so long to try to spread this kind of fud over the whole blockchain?
Maybe it is a good project after all, but we will need to wait until we hear further notices about them.. But just releasing an ico on those times is not a good idea.
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are we Seeing a pullback in ICO investments on: October 29, 2017, 10:33:27 PM
people are not investing in icos anymore because they all noticed about all the people who have been scammed because those kind of projects. It is just like giving some money to a startup project, only that you will receive some coins in return, and this is fake, because most times you will receive a token that is not even worth a 1/3 of what they promised to the investors.
anyway, it is good to hear this, because a lot of icos needs more regulations from the governments.
477  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How are you calculating and keeping track of profits? on: October 29, 2017, 10:16:36 PM
It is pretty easy, i just have an excel sheet in where i keep a track of all my investments and profits, and of course, all my trading and forex operations that i have opened.
This is a good and an easy way to keep on track those operations, because i am sure that i have never missed any number, and this makes me protect my money and to not feel tempted to spend it on some stuff, this is a nice way to do it.
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any Airdrop here? on: October 29, 2017, 09:51:59 PM
most of free airdrops are a garbage, why are you bottering yourself in order to get those free tokens? probably the will give you one thousand of those tokens, and they all will be worth $0.10 in total.
You should try to find better sources to make a good amount of money instead of trying to collect those shitty coins.
Why dont you offer your skills on the service section? maybe someone can hire you and will pay you a good amount of money for that
479  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: need to now about Bitcoin mining machine on: October 29, 2017, 09:37:02 PM
If you are going to mine, you should know that you can not mine with your computer, because you will ruin your computer only to earn 2 cents a month, if you dont want that, then try to invest some money and buy a good miner rig or just buy an asic miner (one of those machines from bitminer) they are expensive, but they will recover your investment in less than a few months.
And try to move this thread to the mining section, because you are not going to receive help in this section of the forum.
480  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC under 4K? on: October 29, 2017, 09:21:32 PM
The price is already on the $6200 zone, it touched $6300 today and it hitted it's all time high, i 100% sure that it would never touch $4000 again unless that there is a giant crash in the whole crypto market.
We are safe on $6000 now, it is just matter of weeks until the next fork is released and everybody will start to buy bitcoins again like crazy only to receive those free tokens.
I am not scared of the price, only about the rumors about bitcoin.
