Can I mine this without having coins to start off with or do I need some to stake first?
The initial mining phase is over and it is POS only now.The POW is set only to kick in again if the blockchain is ever in danger of stalling as a backup mechanism. You would need to have coins in your wallet for at least 24 hours for staking to begin and staking earns you 10% of your balance per annum.For example if you have 1000xbc it would earn you 100xbc @ 10%.In some cases where others have their coins just sitting on an exchange you could earn more if you are staking actively etc afaik. |

Very good point. I think if waves can become a recognized player in this space the sky is the limit. Should be the goal for sasha and waves team... imagine seeing waves being added as an asset on big forex exchanges!!! As you mentioned... trillions! Not sure if its possible. as i understand it the platform can be use as mt4, correct? For it to happen WAVES platform then has to be integrated to which they have to make it available to be customized by brokers. interesting... perhaps Ive missed something... what is mt4? It is a platform where forex traders usually download it from the broker they trade with and it allows you to execute all your trades off it including placing your stop loss and set whatever leverage the broker offers.You can also margin trade off it that way where setting a sell would be like shorting and buying would be like going long etc.BTC-E use it with their site also. |

There will be a basic mobile wallet released at some stage in the near future.Ideas for building functions on top of this basic platform are constantly being discussed but once there is a strong scalable platform decided on for the basic template work should commence.Funds are being raised through the staking wallets. |

I dont think we are doing any other translations for the time being due to having nobody within the community who speak the relevant languages who can run and maintain each thread.Someone may contact you for a translation of the OP but you would have to give the template in full so there is access to the OP in order to update links etc in the future. Currently on the chinese and indo thread we have had to update the threads in english to show updates where original posters could not be reached. |

If this question has already been answered I apologize.
Why has the amount of waves I received with my ICO purchase keep declining in my balance? What I mean is, the number of waves in my ICO balance on the wavesplatform keeps declining. For example, a week ago there was almost 2x as many waves in my balance as there is today.
During the last week of the ICO more people came in so your holding would have decreased. |
