461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your view on this? Is it fun or addiction? on: December 23, 2023, 12:32:06 PM
Maybe after just few tries in gambling this person win a big amount of money? There is someone who runs a motorbike business after winning some big money from gambling and this stands as an inspiration for people around me, they use his name as a good reason to start trying out your luck.

I like asking them one question, do you really want to bet on your luck because someone luckily win a lot of money from gambling? It's not bad to dream big but take the right route and gambling isn't one of them, they got mad at me for saying this and they embark on the gambling for more than a year now and today they are still not as lucky as the man his, not even a bit close.

Luck is something you don't want to be so confidence of having, that's why many people have lost a lot of money to gambling, they believed that they will get lucky and they are messed up, from my own past experiences, I have now understand that getting lucky comes when you aren't expecting it, so how can you be sure that you will win in gambling?
462  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin Mining in Nigeria on: December 21, 2023, 07:51:17 AM
You can't be a successful miner in Nigeria without having your own source of power, if all you have to rely on is the grid power you will never make your money back or it will take a very longer time to get your money back, the grid power of the country is so epileptic and unreliable.

The only option is to spend more money on creating your own power source, like wind energy or solar energy, and this move will make your ROI to be longer because you have to make the money you spent on power bad as well as the Asic miners too. It's not easy to be a miner living in Nigeria.
463  Economy / Gambling / Re: Does anyone find the spate of online casinos a bit uninspired? on: December 20, 2023, 09:37:46 AM
A lot of them seem to be hastily assembled clone sites with very little effort put in and gimmicky marketing. Do you guys have any thoughts on this... plague?
What are you also looking for that you ended up with such websites? Even using the google search engine to find list of best casinos won't take you to such bad websites, Stake for example is the first I found using google search engine and this casino is one of the best.

It's better that you know they are not to be trusted, many newbies have been scammed this way before, imagine if more efforts are put into the websites? Maybe you would have trusted them too? The fact is designs on websites is not enough to trust the platform, some scammers don't mind spending a lot of money on website designs, it will look almost perfect to get the best attentions.

Copied interface is a red flag but if a beginner has no past history with online casinos how will they know that the interface is just like that of another casino? Always do your own research before making up your mind and it's just safer to use common online casinos instead of looking for new one.
464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stop the self entitlement claims on others gamblers winnings. on: December 20, 2023, 08:04:38 AM
This is also happening out of gambling, it's something we now see as normal thing in my country, it happens in the family too, imagine everyone shutting you off when you ask for their help? Imagine you needing a vehicle to move some heavy objects and you know someone in the family has a lorry that can get the job done and they deny you?

But when your own time comes, and you get your vehicle and everything, this same set of people will come and start asking you to borrow your vehicle for a while, they have seems to forget all the maltreatment they did with you, one thing I though its just been shameless of them but I was wrong, I found out that they are trying to outsmart you, like indirectly calling you a fool.

I am sure that the people that feel entitled the most are those who will never allow anyone to do the same to them, it is all intentionally, forcing you to take a bow, pretending to be normal, as if it's the way it should be, let their own time comes, they won't do the same.
465  Economy / Speculation / Re: A big buying opportunity might be on the horizon on: December 20, 2023, 07:14:15 AM
Bitcoin will still do very well without the ETF approvals but many people are counting on the ETFs, and if this time doesn't fade I believe that Bitcoin will do better than it will if there is no approval, this ETF will boost the confidence in Bitcoin, and this is why I want the U.S to be present in Bitcoin, that country is playing a big part in crypto adoption.

Bitcoin halving is another good upcoming event, in fact this is way better than ETFs, but I get it, ETF approval is creating the best hype so far, I do want to see it get approved finally, like the judge said, this is something that should be approved a long time ago, she said she doesn't know why it's taking this long.
466  Economy / Gambling / Re: Guide for newcomers Start a fun and profitable gambling entertainment journey o on: December 20, 2023, 06:33:34 AM
If people know how terrible it is to become rich with gambling they will focus more on just having fun, but people especially newbies prefer doing the opposite. They rely on gambling like a trusty source of income and the end up learning the hard way, money is the hardest to make and it's also the simplest.

Money is the hardest to make if you don't develop any skills or you are jobless, I know that jobs are of different levels but the most paying jobs are all about skills, this is why I like coding and building games, money follows skills, with skills you will make a lot of money as if it doesn't cost a thing.

Few numbers of people made life changing money from gambling, that's not new, but millions of people have gotten nowhere with gambling, that's because of the chances you will have to make money from gambling is too slim.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing bitcoin to the orphans on my birthday on: December 19, 2023, 11:19:24 AM
Well done sim card, I am planning to do the same too, I think this season of celebration will be too cold on some people, for example the children with no parents, I plan to use this Xmas to help some people, I haven't even share it with them, I want to surprise them, I plan to use up to $500 to put smile on some peoples face going into the new year, I can't wait to see their reactions.

Things are getting harder over here and majority are lamenting because of the poor and bad economy of the county, people don't know what to do and some are just hanging on, to nothing for the moment, I except crime rate to grow even higher now but I did my best with Bitcoin and crypto exposure for people, there is nothing more greater than helping people when you can and if you can afford to, for me its the best feeling.

Thanks again for showing some love OP.
468  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I could have won bigger. on: December 19, 2023, 10:08:12 AM
If you want to be a responsible gambler, erase the mindset of you winning bigger money from gambling, you have simply open door into dreaming big with gaming, remember that you are not risking your skills here, because with skills you can believe in yourself that one day you will make it big, your sniper rifle is the skills you have acquired.

This is not the same in gambling, the best shot you have is luck, and luck comes and go all the time, so how can you be so sure that if you risk a lot of money you will make a lot of money? Just because you try with what you have and make a lot of money you are now blaming yourself and your friend, why not think about what could have happened if you lose the game?

Your friend don't pay in time, it's different from friends that don't always pay back when they borrow money from you, I have experience such and I decide to never lend out money to such friend again, but if yours pay up later it is still better than he no paying you back again, be thankful and stop blaming yourself in gambling, you can't predict what to come.
469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which type of gambling have more gambling addicts ? on: December 19, 2023, 09:18:10 AM
Some people get addicted to slots game more than others and while some are addicted to sports betting, it doesn't make any much different because addiction is addiction, the solution is try hard not to get too attached to any games online where you are promised to make some money by luck.

There is no game in the gambling space that's addiction free, no single one, and also don't forget that addiction doesn't end where money can be made, it doesn't have to be about money, sometimes what we do can result in addiction, there is alcohol addiction,  we have drugs addiction and we have sex addiction, it goes on and on.

Any addiction is not healthy for you, either money involved or not, you have to make sure you keep distance away from everything, because too much of everything is just bad, make sure you don't gett addicted to what you love doing the most, it's possible to be addicted to something, anything.
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has gambling ever whispered you with different strategic prediction measures? on: December 19, 2023, 08:17:28 AM
I've done same at one point in time, it's been like few years already but that was when I used to expect a lot from gambling, like I really needed to see me win, imagine that lol, until I don't care about winning from gambling anymore and since then my surprise packages comes from gambling when I don't expect, this is just better for me than expecting something in gambling, and that's why most money I make goes into Bitcoin and other crypto projects I plan to make money from in the next bull market, this play is better for me, still risky but far more reliable than gambling.

Gambling is full of fun too, not that bad but one needs to gamble safe or else they will be lost in a world of fantasy, where nothing they dream on will come into reality, try as much as possible to be a realistic person, it's possible to make money in gambling but you don't want to rely on gambling as your way of making money just because it's possible.

Gamblung won't give you money always, you are going to take risks many times before you win and if all those trials are passed with lots of money you will feel sad about your decisions, you are to take the trials using what you can afford to lose, gambling is not a reliable way of making money.
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you wrap up your gambling session? on: December 18, 2023, 11:26:39 AM
I like been in control of myself when gambling, I am now very used to walking away whenever I feel like, I don't gamble always but when I do I am doing it to kill time, we all want to make money but I don't want to make mine with gambling, because I don't want to get destroyed.

There are too many people that turn into something they are not because of gambling exposure, it's a hazardous thing for those who have no idea what awaits them, you need to be in total control of your mind to gamble without building up a bad habit inside of you.

Many gamblers walk into casinos with the mind of coming out with big money, this is a wrong think to use the mind for, where you don't plant money to grow you should not expect to money from such places, gambling is the game on your mindset, be careful not to get enchanted.
472  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A hero or a fool? on: December 18, 2023, 10:11:04 AM
I wish that this is possible over here, because I have talk to few addicted gamblers before just to know how they feel when gambling and I get some point about how they have tried so many times to quit gambling, but they always lose the hope the next day and they found themselves going back.

I believe the person OP is talking about have good self monitoring, he knew that he is on a path of lust for gambling and he knew what could happen if something goes wrong, that's why he decide to take this step for himself.

Many people have this same feeling but they can't embark of such journey to restrict themselves from gambling, as this banning on yourself is not available in all countries.
473  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Issues Important Warning as It Plans to Perform Wallet Maintenance on: December 18, 2023, 09:14:25 AM
Funds are SAFU as the CEO said, there might be possible glitches on customers balance that's why they bring this out so that people won't panic unnecessary, but people need to stop leaving their money on crypto exchanges, it's just a reminder, as we are heading into the new year you guys need to be very careful leaving your coins on any crypto exchanges, we don't know how 2024 will play out, maybe the unexpected will happen again nobody knows but make sure you are in control of your fund.
474  Economy / Gambling / Re: Banned from RollBit for Italian users on: December 18, 2023, 08:20:48 AM
Tell me one good reason why it's not good to read terms and conditions of a online casino before using it again? We have warned many people too many times about the importance of Terms and Comditions, if it's not important it won't be available on the platforms for new users to read.

Things like restricted countries, KYC requirements, and others are inside their AML policies, if you don't read it you will never know, many people have lost funds to online casinos because they are operating from a location that's not supported and they will come online to tarnish the image of the online casinos.

Some people rush to make their first deposits on a casino and later found out that they need to pass KYC before they can withdraw their money, do not be a lazy person with your money, it can cost big.
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who should quit, and why? on: December 17, 2023, 04:40:42 PM
I have meet few gamblers that are very good at controlling themselves around gambling and they are doing so well in life, if the both partners are good at controlling their gambling desires then there is no problem, you should only start to worry if your partner is risking too much on gambling, I would love my partner to keep a watch on me, I can even have them beside me when I want to gamble, its for the best.

I actually don't have any gambling problem but if you are already married and you feel the need to be under watch, ask your partner to do it for you, thinking that you can become a millionaire in gambling is very normal in the lives of gamblers, and thats why many of them are riped off.

You can't beat the house, atleast not always, so you should not rely on something that isnt requiring your skills to beat the game, its you and how lucky you will be, invest your money more and gamble very less, I have my reason for saying this, its sadly the way that gambling is programmed.
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I finally sold my computer and bought bitcoin. I don't regret . on: December 17, 2023, 01:25:54 PM
OP this is something not many people will tell you on here, you can't get rich selling your computer for Bitcoin, its the harsh truth mate, you need to invest a lot of money either through income or constant DCA, reading your post it looks like you are making less money or you are not even working yet, people like you won't have a big change for them even if Bitcoin hits 100,000.

You still have time right now, don't expect to sit on that thinny BTC and expect it to turn into millions, its never going to happen, start buying more right now to increase your chance of making more money, even those who are investing $100 monthly are not planning to make a lot, its all in the amount.

Even with $10,000 in Bitcoin you still won't make a lot, maybe $50k or in that range and that's it, so if you aren't making a lot of money you should have keep your computer and use that to learn a way to make some income online, its possible, but its your choice.
477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: December 17, 2023, 12:07:44 PM
I don't find it easy to do but its just once or twice, you won't be doing the same every time you log into your account, I am using up to four online casinos but I stay with two now because they are my favourite, I have read their terms and conditions many months ago, just in case, to avoid doing something that I won't know its against their rules.

If you don't want to end up with problems you need to read through their terms and conditions, I know it can be hard but its about the sake of your experience when gambling on the platform, you don't want to do something that will make them block your access to the casino until you pass KYC or do other things they require.

Some don't even read at all until they are asked to pass KYC and they will scream scam on the casino when its already available on their terms and conditions that KYC is mandatory, to avoid problems you just have to do it.
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have a "gambling problem" which you can sometimes control for years? on: December 17, 2023, 11:29:47 AM
I don't have a gambling problem, this way of making money is a red flag in my country and we are always warned to be careful with gambling, I took this warning too fat serious from my father and this makes me to not expect to make money from gambling, I do it for entertainment purposes and I am now into sports which I found more interesting to waste some free time on.

You can ruin your life in gambling if you expect to make money from gambling, you don't want to be too hooked into gambling, you can start to believe that gambling is the real solution to your financial problems, don't do it, find time to come up with a strategy, not in game but on your bankroll, do not put in too much money since its not free to gamble on online casino.

Be selfaware always, but you should be fine if you understand the risk and choose to make money from investments and also your life skills, there is no strategy that can stop you from losing money in gambling, be a responsible gambler always.
479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Prove me wrong: Gambling is both more relaxing and entertaining than trading! on: December 16, 2023, 03:01:31 PM
I don't do horse race gambling but I am not so sure about your claim, because I believe that gambling is more entertaining than trading, anyone who goes after trading goes there to make money, there is nothing like entertainment in trading, you are going to be on the edge of your sit watching how things goes, even if you are using small money in trading you are always going to hope you win, but...

I like trading for one reason that I believe its good enough, that's skills, if you are good with trading you are going to make more money with confidence, knowing that you will make more money since all that matter is how good you are, unlike gambling..

I turn gambling into entertainment because

1. The chances of winning is far too slim to risk any high amounts on, there is not too many skills important in gambling than to manage your bankroll.

2. Its you against the house, another human just like you selling you a lottery ticket where the chances of winning only belongs to the house ( the CEO ).

Its just safer to use small money and watch your game, if anything good happens its good and if the other part happens you don't lose any good money.

For me, Skills on anything wins more than taking risks on lucks, you are like a blind man without his walking stick.
480  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most trusted casinos on BTalk on: December 16, 2023, 02:06:17 PM
Everyone can only talk about the casinos they have used before but mind you the experience you will get might not be the same as mine, gambling deals with having some good luck on your side and also having the knowledge to manage your bank roll.

I have use few online casinos from this forum and I ended up leaving some and focusing on just two right now, but here is the list of online casinos that I trust and I have also spend some time on.

1. Rollbit.
2. Fortune Jack.
3. Stake
4. Roobet.

Many people that I know are huge fan of stake and they use this platform as their main online casino, they have few good karma from this platform but I am struggling, I don't wonder much about it because I know that experience can never be the same on online casinos, you need to have your time spent on them first.
