461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: December 19, 2017, 11:17:50 AM
Really? Are you really thinking that you can invest your Bitcoin in gambling just by betting? Of course not what your are doing is actually called "gambling" which is way different than investing as the way you make profits are both different. In gambling if you lose a bet you will lose. But in Investing if the price depreciates you won't lose anything not until you sell it at a loss. If you are also trying to invest your Bitcoin the best thing to do is hold it in your wallet and don't try to invest it in any kind of HYIP sites.
We have our own dreams to make money in gambling and we want to fulfill it.
The thing is it's really hard to win in gambling that is why most of us are losers, but if you feel you can do it then no one is stopping
you to do your thing, that is your passion, who are we to judge when we cannot even make a consistent win to make money, as long as you are
responsible, there is no problem with that.
newbie usually want an instant profit , no wonder they consider to go for gambling.

i never consider gambling as a good source of income , it never will. you know why…. it is give you a huge expectation but let you down at the same time. look for other thing , gambling never be a good place to make money. not newbie , not even an expert one.
It is a sad fact that newcomers in crypto market lack patience and they really want to have money in very short time, this is the reason they often opt gambling for the purpose which ultimately leads to their destruction financially. Gambling is something which is luck dependent, you can never ever predict its future which makes you paly tsar game blindly and rely on the house for everything. Stay away from the game.
462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the risk of holding Bitcoin? on: December 19, 2017, 10:44:39 AM
If you have little money left and you invest it on bitcoin then the biggest risk would be getting financially down. Just balance the money you can invest and the money you need for daily expenses
Only a fool will do this mistake of investing more than he or she can afford. If you are taking debts for meeting your daily expenditures but investing too much for future, you are standing at the same place. One should invest only what he or she has as an extra money or something they can compromise on rather than investing what they need for fulfilling their basic human needs. Always think before taking such steps.
463  Economy / Economics / Re: Why did you choose bitcoin? on: December 18, 2017, 11:45:54 AM
I choose it because it was the very first Crypto Currency that I have known,
And it is the reason why I am earning money right now.
Bitcoin is better from all of the other currencies. Bitcoin is thousand time better to use than any other currency. I personally like bitcoin and use bitcoin because it is better than all of the other, it has extra privacy and protection.

Without your will one can know about the amount of bitcoin you are having and also hacking bitcoin is almost impossible. These features make bitcoin the best in all the digital currencies.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How can Bitcoin help the developing world? on: December 18, 2017, 11:10:31 AM
I want to try open Bitcoin Business. This cause I just have this question. I wanna know is Bitcoin can give a better world and future.

I don't necessarely think Bitcoin will, but crypto currencies overall, yes. for sure.
This is all about the crypto world, yes. Bitcoins are putting their part in this amazing work. Bitcoins and all other altcoins are making this world technical that even the currency will be changed to an online system. They are contributing with maximum of their capabilities. But if you compare bitcoins with other altcoins in this contribution, you will find bitcoins’ part more than other altcoins.
Yes bitcoin is in use nowadays and its use is increasing with the passage of time, more people are getting in to it because it has brought the world to a single plat form and connect them in the way of global village. People are getting in bitcoin because they are happy with the ease and comfort given to them by bitcoin. It is helping out world in many ways especially giving chance to talented people to earn good amount of money.
465  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Investing all my savings! on: December 18, 2017, 10:33:54 AM
If you just invest your savings in crypto, it's a good investment. Because of this new market you need time to monitor and research this market. Once you have mastered the volatility of the market, you can invest more in it. The potential development of this market is immense.
The crytocurrency has large volume and is expected to grow with the passage of time so it is not a bad idea to invest in the same and grab the opportunity. I have invested all my savings in bitcoin as I have got reasonable profit from my investment.

As more investors have the tendency to divert their investment to the crytocurrency as there will be more investment to come in bitcoin so its value will be increased with the passage of time.
466  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: December 16, 2017, 11:36:15 AM
Not all decrease in prices are good signals for buying more coins. Sometimes it can indicate that coin's bubble (this is the worst case scenario). It is better to be updated about that coin's activities to know when to buy more of it or stop investing.
That's right, I think the major problem is maturity of people want to earn money at once without spending any time and energy. Short term trading is always risky you cannot predict that prices will go up. The best thing is to make proper study about any coin you want to invest and then make your long term plan in order to earn good from your investment. Prices will fluctuate at present but in the long term they will give you best Returns.
467  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin also lead to corruption ? on: December 16, 2017, 10:56:14 AM
Obviously. We can see corruption everywhere like you have mentioned. There are some people who are always in need of easy money so chances are there that they will come up with their evil ideas to exploit it.
Obviously. Today anyone can be corrupted with an object of value, look well to what users are going through in the last days. Several exchanges were closed (they simply disappeared and they did not leave a single note), ICOS almost in their end disappeared of the map taking many investors to have a very great prejudice.

And now we have a new fever on the internet that is setting up mining companies in the cloud (you buy mining power and it mines some random currency of your choice), you invest in them, and two months later they go out with your money. In this sea of corrupt people and always good to be alert, research and reading are the main tools to not fall into scams like this.

You are right everyone is just hodling their btc this is making btc look much like a bubble. I dont even term it as a currency when it comes to financial market because to be a currency it must have a stable price. Its more of a commodity which isnt even derivative not backed by any asset or security
Everybody has his/her own aim in everything, the same case is in bitcoin. Many people had sold their bitcoin while many of them are still holding it. The reason is that the thinking of everyone is different and also everyone has a change aim in bitcoin.

I think if someone need money then he should sell bitcoin and gain is profit , which will be far enough for him but if someone is not in need for money then they should wait for some more profit.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what are the benefits of bitcoin? on: December 11, 2017, 01:44:46 PM
Bitcoin is peer-to-peer decentralized digital currency that is easier to move money and transfer with a faster time and lower fees but thats the only first couple of years of bitcoin but now it takes a long before its transfer .
Yeah you are absolutely right. Bitcoin is a payment method type that can be used in any transactions and made it faster and easier for you while you are not getting into that complex way of methods for transactions in older times. on contrary, like you said, yes it takes a little more time in transferring but don’t you think still it is much better than most of the payment methods.
471  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: your mentality after a huge loss? on: December 11, 2017, 01:01:28 PM
What do you do after you suffer a huge loss?
If you have more money would you again take the risk and invest or would you just stop trading and try to earn in some other way?

Every time you lose, you can overcome a failure, setting long-term goals and waiting to touch your dreams.
Failures are so much great if you are making better results out of them. There are some quotes about this and I am quoting one here, “Either you win or you learn”. Mistakes are part of winning, there is no one on this planet earth who is succeeding but don’t learn from his mistakes. Peruse your dreams and don’t get disappointed because that will work as an accelerator in your success race.
472  Economy / Marketplace / Re: LOOKING TO INVEST MY LIFE SAVINGS NEED ADVICE on: December 09, 2017, 11:45:13 AM
Hello Everyone,

I need your help! I have been doing research on what hardware to buy to mine Ether and Bitcoin. I'm investing my life savings so this is really serious for me so if you can help it would mean alot. I have alot of space for equipment so that wont be a problem. I need help figuring out what equipment to buy for ether and bitcoin minning, and how much it will cost me? Any advice will be much appreciated.

Thank you
Smiley
Look spend everything you have on something you have not yet mastered 100% and a very dangerous thing, this is usually done by desperate people. But if you want to take this risk I would point you to the new s9, if you find it for good value you can make lots of money with it.

Unlike the S8 it consumes much less energy and the gains are much better than its previous models. Today she must be going from about 1000 dollars to about 3000 thousand dollars, try to buy her within that margin so she does not lose.
473  Economy / Economics / Re: Can we totally eliminate all the banks in this world? on: December 09, 2017, 11:13:21 AM
What is the future of cryptocurrencies when all the government need to do is to close the bank accounts of businesses or exchange?

https://www.coindesk.com/bitcoin-businesses-face-bank-account-closures-in-singapore/

As of now we cannot totally elimate all banks in world and change it to digital currency because,as long bitcoin is decentralized and not regulated by the world goverment we cannot pursue our destiny to change from money banking to cryptocurrency world.because all our dreams to be bitcoin capital would be in the future only, because of so many barrier  before we implement  a cryptocurrency.
It is possible, yes, following an evolutionary thought we can draw a time line, where today we have a banking institution that is derived from a very old system of money control.

Formerly common people worked as banks, lending money and receiving interest, this has evolved into the way we are today where we have a whole institution focused on money but if we follow that time line, we can fill the BTC as a possible substitute for the banks, because it meets all the demands that the banks do not meet, and still has the system of decentralization which would avoid much bureaucracy.
474  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have a future? on: December 07, 2017, 01:17:04 PM
As for my knowledge is concerned i will suggest that the future belongs to bitcoins because each day more people are getting interest in investing in bitcoins which in returns give them handsome amount as it is the only decentralized crypto so the world is trending towards it which seems like in near future the world will changed their digital transaction into bitcoins.
People are using in Bitcoin because they consider it as a way to earn ample amount of profit I don't think it is of some digital currency that can be used for micro payments. This way the truth of Bitcoin being lost. But the good thing is the number of investors is increasing rapidly. And maybe these people will use their Bitcoin in daily purchases when they will live in a cashless society.
475  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How I can make money with cryptocurrencies? on: December 06, 2017, 01:19:20 PM
Look at cryptococcus like the stock market. Can rise, can go down, can remain stable for a long time. How to use and or make money from this? trade regularly (buy low, sell high, ofcourse) or invest in it, hoping that it will rise in the future.
You shouldn't compare bitcoin trading with the stock market. Keep that in mind that bitcoin or any other crypto currency does not follow the traditional economic laws. They are hard to analyze. Just buying and hoping for the price to rise is not a wise thing to do. Buying low - selling high, its easy to say here but troublesome to apply it.

I think they do have some resemblance. Bitcoin currently behaves like so called story stocks. Their value are impacted based on some sort of belief not actual intrinsic value, and their price is partly moved by market sentiment or what people believe not what it is. There is one post I found in google saying that it also highly correlates with google searches.  Grin. Yet if it is just a correlation or causation that’s another debate Smiley
Sometimes I really wonder about the factors that affect the price of Bitcoin. I mean I do understand the simple phenomena behind to increase in value of any asset and that is the high demand by people and a very limited supply rather scarce supply of an asset.

But these are not the only ones that affect the Bitcoin price. There are many important factors that I am not certain about but I think those are more significant.
476  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin gold value will rise to bitcoin value on: December 06, 2017, 12:47:04 PM
I dont think that this will happen, because it is unprofitable for many people, only for investors themselves. Gold is not bitcoin, gold will always have price approximately at the same place, but bitcoin can in some minutes drop to the bottom or grow till unrealistic figures. Maybe in future this will happen, because extracting gold is much harder than virtual currency.
The launching of Bitcoin gold has actually benefited Bitcoin cash more than any other crypto coin because Bitcoin cash really gained value within last few weeks. Bitcoin gold can never ever touch such a high value as bitcoin has. Bitcoin cash May or may not able to do this because BCH is very unpredictable.

Still no alternative coin has as much potential of growing as Bitcoin and I think most of the people here have same opinion in this matter.
477  Economy / Economics / Re: why bitcoin is so much special than others currency ? on: December 04, 2017, 11:43:29 AM
The reason for that level of sucess is because it does better what it proposes to do, which is to be a good store of value and censorship resistant. Most other currencies try to do the same, but there is no way for them to achieve this being so centralized.

Yes you stated a good point. For me I found bitcoin really unique in terms of the features and credentials this like to offer. I think the feature makes the people more likely to work here cause they get all what they deserve.
Bitcoin suffered in its starting time people call it scam but bitcoin proved itself a right thing and after that it start rising and keep on changing the life of investor in start no one wants to invest and now time has come when everyone is eagerly waiting to buy bitcoin and there is long journey of bitcoin to come at the top crypto currency and this thing is giving more edge now to bitcoin and all the suffering is now blessing.
478  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading on: December 04, 2017, 11:08:53 AM
You should have large amount of bitcoin to make day trading worthwhile because the movement is just a few pips and you have to cover charges and everything. Maybe a 5 to 10 BTC would be enough to make a decent daily earnings from trading.
Large amount? To make it worthwhile? Sure, 5 - 10BTC will give you more than you can imagine daily, cause that is not some little amount of cash and one thing about trading is that, the more you have to trade with, the more your gain and the more your losses as well. However, I do not agree with the fact that you need to have up to that to make it worthwhile. I started trading with 0.1BTC and bro; it was worthwhile for a start. It all balls down to knowing what you are doing.
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: December 01, 2017, 02:08:12 PM
Bitcoin trading these days has become so rucreative that I am tempted to quit my present job which is not giving me enough time to explore more out of bitcoin world...

What's your take on this, should I go ahead and quit?

Thanks

Why would you need to quit your present job if your objective was to trade crypto currencies? You could do trading anytime, you don't have to stare graphs all day, unless you enjoy watching numbers, arrows and graph.

Trading was very tempting, it could double your investment in a day, or make you a millionaire in a year, or make you lost all of your investment instantly.

Definitely bitcoin have made people rich but that involved their skill set to make this happen. Bitcoin have broadcasted the chances and opportunities to every user of internet, now it depends on us how better we take advantage of it and utilize this opportunity to change our live style by using bitcoin. Develop or polish your skills set and then practice it in a well meandered way.
480  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible for the bitcoin to lose it's value ? on: December 01, 2017, 01:09:14 PM
Hi , I'm new so basically I still have a lot to learn about the cryptocurrency , but I would like to know if it would be possible for the bitcoin to start the downfall ? I mean like what scenario can happen that the bitcoin would be pushed back like 5-6 years ?
Sorry if my post is in the wrong place or it's not relevant.
Yes you are right,I'm agreed with you .. There's small chance that bitcoin will lose its value as the founder ever stated it, such as ; bitcoin will rise or lose its value in 20 years. But, I can't find any scenario why bitcoin could crash and lose all of its value, I mean bitcoin price already reach over $3000 and many people keep buying and more adopters join the community. Look at Japan which has legalized bitcoin as legal payment, many companies in there accepted bitcoin transaction, even an airline. That what makes it could survive another 5-6 years later. And We all know that the law of supply and demand is applicable here in bitcoin so the only time bitcoin may loose its value is when most of the people in the community stop on demanding bitcoin...
Trading even with altcoins is also risky because you never know exactly what is going to happen in the next moment in crypto market. Trading with bitcoin is riskier just because you cannot afford losing the most expensive digital currency at any cost and trading is bit unpredictable for those who are new to this field whereas as you said, holding bitcoin for long term is highly profitable and there is no risk in it.
