This is not a bad idea. Not only for small transactions but for almost everyone it is ridiculous now. I have received my sig payment in an address and I wanted to move some Bitcoin this week with a 50 sat/vB but my electrum didn't allow me to do the transaction. Transactions with 49 sat/vB were purging at that moment. What a terrible experience it is. So, adding the lightning network for the evil fee payment and copper membership payment could be a good idea. To be honest, couldn't care less, a signature ban would mean the end of quota post so a bit of end of spam too, if people would engage in genuine discussions 1/100 of the posts I would still consider it a net positive factor! People always do not do what they have studied. They might be expert in other sectors as well. For example, I studied social science but I am kind of an expert in agriculture. It's because I live in a village and I grew up watching how farmers do these things and my father was a farmer himself. I used to help him with his work. But, being an expert in coding and understanding cryptography and how it works isn't everyone's cup of tea.
Leo is exceptional in this case. If I remember correctly, he was the person who helped me when I was trying to understand how coinb.in works and how the timelock system works. There were a few more people, but he was always on those boards and helping others.

What is the purpose of this thread? What do we get from such threads? Why do have to gather the list of those campaigns when you could find these threads in the service section? We all know that Mixer is banned now and whoever was the participant in these campaigns will miss those campaigns. There are some reasons behind it, some of those campaigns paid the highest rate to their participants. Some campaign participants do not want to promote casino platforms through their signatures. Those members would miss the mixer signature campaign for sure. Do we need to discuss such an obvious thing?

Can I have the link to the statistics you were referring to? This is true only if you consider all investors as traders. I agree that even holders are traders. Because they buy Bitcoin to make a profit. So, they are traders too in another sense. But, if you do not include them in the stats, then how do you say the traders have more Bitcoin than Investors? A few companies like Microstrategy hold more than 170K Bitcoin as of Now. Binance as the company already holds more than 800K Bitcoin and their reserve data shows they are correct. Recently I have checked their wallet address too to see if their claim is true or not. You can find their reserve data and addresses on Coinmarketcap which you can verify. There are over 19 million Bitcoins already. We don't know how many of them are lost. We don't know how many dormant account will be alive in the bull run. So the stats could be wrong. |

The examples you wrote in the OP do not make sense to me. I don't know what is underneath my house. I do not own what is underneath my house. It is the government that owns whatever is there. So, If someone offered 4x money for land or my house, I would sell that and buy another one. I am sure no one would buy my house or land for 4x the price.
Now, what is the difference between selling to BlackRock or selling to someone else? There are unrealistic offers. No matter who offer double price, I would sell to them and buy double amount of Bitcoin. I think this is unnessesary discussion.

I made this api some time ago, which always shows recommended fees. Data from mempool.space  It will fit this topic about high fees  How about creating an account named Fee Buddy and posting it once an hour just like ChartBuddy? and then someone like phillipma will join the thread to stay above FeeBuddy! Even though it's a funny idea, but it won't be bad. Yesterday I was trying to move some BTC from my Electrum wallet to an exchange and Noticed that I could not even make the transaction with 50 sat/vB. I understand the fee is too high. But, there was a time when we were able to make 1 sat/vB transaction even though the recommended fee was over 10 sat/vB. Now, Electrum doesn't even allow us to make the transaction. Currently, the mempool purging transactions of <74 sat/vB. What a fucking day we are heading into. |

I am a very responsible person and can't imagine other people being so naive, especially those who have lots of money and run a serious project. Look. I believe none of us are here to debate about it. But you cannot expect everyone to follow the rules/ethics or whatever thing we are supposed to follow. There is a rule and you will always find some people who break it. But we were talking about a business who hired Ratimov as a signature participant. You did not learn the forum in one day. You had to spend at least a couple of months to understand how the feedback system works, and how the other forum features work. But it is ironic when you expect a new start-up to know everything about the forum. It is their own mistake that they did not consult with the manager before they hired those members. Royse stated in a thread that he contacted TSC and phillipma and then came to know that those members were already contacted and hired by [banned mixer] team and they already paid upfront. The question you were asking was why they did not pay attention to the negative trust; probably they did not understand the importance of that feedback. Or they thought having one negative feedback is okay because he has 12 positive feedback as well. You cannot expect others to act like they are experienced when they are not. |
