461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trading answers needed on: May 10, 2020, 03:04:05 PM
Oh boy! Stay away from futures trading, I lost money trying it out, thinking I can handle it myself but I was wrong, don't you dare unless you are ready and know what you are doing, it's very very risky than normal but low and sell high trick

Dealt with it myself and lose countless times and then I figured it's not really for me. There is no binary option between them. Binary options are very different as I suppose OP understood it than the Futures and Margin.  You don't wanna deal with leverage if you don't wanna lose a lot.  Binary options in crypto is hard to find. I'm sure you can search for it.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are u buying alts? on: May 09, 2020, 06:44:00 PM

You should actually buy altcoins while they are cheap, right now I'm aiming to get as many TRX and Cardano as possible. Someone had been buying a lot of JRT, I didn't wonder why but I might just be giving it a go also because I'm all for Defi and decentralization. They are not valuable as for now but I'm willing to wait.
463  Economy / Economics / Re: The positive impact ~ on: May 09, 2020, 05:47:59 PM
1. Due to Quarantine people are spending more time with families plus all the businesses and schools are working online , after the quarantine one can easily hope for an increase in online job opportunities , which is a big deal for some students and other sectors .
I hope I am one those people who are with their families right now. It really hurts me and it made me jealous seeing and knowing others that they are with their families right now. I really wanna go home. It sounds like the quarantine period will be extended in our area due to there are still many cases in here.
Work from home, yes my work is now home based. Although there are little changes in our salary due to transpo allowance has been cancelled, I know I am still lucky coz it is still possible for me to work from home. Some of my officemates have a poor internet connection so they are no work no pay.

We'd all be resorting to online jobs because of covid, this is one of the positive impact which the internet will be grounds for all of us. ITs also advantageous for bitcoin users.

Less traffic on the main roads these days so traveling from city to another which normally takes an hour right now can take up to 15 minutes only.
464  Economy / Economics / Re: Foreigners being airlifted by countries but government is just ying to get money on: May 08, 2020, 07:17:33 PM

None of the businesses are reopening so I guess this is their way to make money. Aren't student going to undergo swab testing for Covid and all before they fly? Because this will also cost and maybe the reason for it to reach up to $750.

All money are imaginary though and at this time of crisis, printing more money I think is just.

465  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Forex Broker on: May 08, 2020, 07:00:50 PM

Any broker I guess would be good. I have tried depositing $100 to Oanda and it was fine. You're limited to leverage though $200 would be fine for x50. There are brokers which their minimum has to be higher and it's better that way so you can practise more with your trading account than your demo. You feel no pressure with demo and in the end, you may not learn at all.
466  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Easiest Way For New Traders To Profit From The Crypto Market on: May 08, 2020, 06:07:40 PM

You're going to find a good trader to copy his trades, it wouldn't be that hard to find when they have records. I haven't really tried copy trading, there were projects in crypto like this but they were all unsuccessful. Coindash was an example but there were no progress so far.

Digital assets manager and Funds manager jobs would be gone if copy trading is going to be successful, wouldn't it?
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google to Shadowban Crypto - Bitcoin will get Hampered? on: May 07, 2020, 01:44:17 PM
Let us wait and see if this will really be implemented. I hope not and I seriously doubt it will happen, but if they are serious about this and this will really happen, then so be it.

The most probable thing to happen is that some contents pertaining to crypto or Bitcoin will be blocked or limited in terms of reach. So the hammer falls most likely to some cryptocurrency news, technical analyses, and the like, which are mostly half-baked and misleading anyway.

I don't think the basic and the most important information about Bitcoin will be blocked. But if they are, well, Bitcoin cannot be censored. Everybody is aware of that. Not by Google nor by any other entity.

They've once ban advertising crypto before and they can make bitcoin disappear in searches if they want to. Such butthurt like they can really stop the growth of BTC. I wouldn't be surprised if Facebook will play along with them again.

If its really going to keep this way thousands of users again will be registering this forum like what happen last 2017.
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KINGCASINO SALES HITS A MILESTONE RAISES $21.5M IN ROUND 1 SALES! on: May 07, 2020, 12:18:03 PM
This is very old and cheap attempt by kingcasino team nobody would believe in their statement where they're claim to rise the huge $21.5 million in just first round of ieo which is absolutely impossible on these two exchanges which you mentioned. Probably they're just want to be in limelight with this kind of ridiculous statements which clearly looks doubtful.
so far from my experience the volume of fundraising can be manipulated, they make the fundraising look so much but they don't provide information on where the asset is because that is indeed their marketing strategy, to be able to trigger investors to come in and do investing in that place, it would be better if they could be open and more transparent, by bringing up how much information has been collected but must be included with evidence in etherscan or the wallet they use to collect the assets of investors.

It's marketing. This is not just for the project but also for the exchange. Those people who are not aware and not from this forum will actually believe what they are announcing and will soon come running to trade with this project but yup it's marketing that works.

For a person to get involved would have to think that the covid virus had crippled most of the market, this 21M fund must really be unrealistic.
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid being cheated by altcoin developer on: May 07, 2020, 07:59:49 AM
In any business or deal , trust matters alot. I won't advice you to deal with someone you can't trust . Another thing is don't do things you don't have some knowledge about it. Try to understand developing process , and then you will be able to know the ways that any developer can scam you either trusted or not.

She hasn't hired someone yet so I guess hiring will take her to trustworthy freelance website like upwork. The freelancers on the platform are more concerned about their profile having no unsatisfied clients for it's their way to get more job contracts. I'msure those freelancers wouldn't risk the reputation he built for years just for the premined coins from the forked coins.
470  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid being cheated by altcoin developer on: May 06, 2020, 02:07:01 PM

I'm not a miner but as far as I know it can be checked how much blocks were mined and the number of coins per block, I guess you can do all the math in that and expect how much has to be sent to your account. But you really can't help becoming suspicious to anyone you hired because when it comes to money its going to break bonds.
Did you watched it properly? it's not about miner but it's premined coin. that's differenet between miner and pre-mined coin.

It's about how to prevent the developer that we didn't know about him to create a backdoor or putting the vulnerable code and it's not related to the block on the blockchain.

Nope. I read it.

When you find out thru the specs that what is sent to you aren't all that's premined then that dev can't be trusted. Its too late when you find out however but if hiring these devs from upwork meant you know their profiles, they might think twice for there are ratings in the freelance site.
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KINGCASINO SALES HITS A MILESTONE RAISES $21.5M IN FOUND 1! on: May 05, 2020, 03:01:25 PM

In times of crisis, they've found people trying to invest in the gambling project. The world is really surprising in some sense. We could;t help some countries could find funds to provide their health workers to have a suit to protect their own from the corona but here a team collecting millions all for casino development!
472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If we are to start from beginning. on: May 04, 2020, 08:49:42 AM
If the world will be reset and we are going to start from the beginning, it will have to have a war that will destroy all and kill almost everyone and BTC will be among that will be destructed. There would be no resetting this time. Hard to say there really is a God watching over us when everyone is killing each other for dominance, every race seems to want to rule the world.

Now China has dominated, BTC may not be paired with USD anymore once China has dominated. It could be BTC/CNY.

473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Bitcoin as inheritance on: May 03, 2020, 01:50:24 PM
I'd spend all my coins before I'd die though. I will buy big properties and teach my kids to rent it to accept BTC, this way I won't have to worry about them fighting over some BTC that they can earn by the business I will be giving out to them. I'd like to buy a big lot somewhere near a resort. Build a small hotel I guess, keep the two kids I have to be busy.

If you are to be giving the inheritance make sure all of the properties and money are shared equally or they fight over them asking why the other get a big stash than the other.
474  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking for active traders on: May 03, 2020, 07:43:13 AM

As an active trader, what functionality do you think is missing from your trading platform?
Here is a list of what I feel need to be included in newer trading platforms:

1. No KYC system for the lowest tiers. No means no hidden forced KYC as well.
2. Fiat deposits and withdrawals. Even paypal/WU/Skrill deposits and withdrawals would be good.
3. Blocking of bots from using the platform.
4. A good support system is always recommended, cant stress it enough, it is one of the biggest things in this sector. Having a good customer support helps keep your customers in.
5. Early downtime notification system.

List goes one but these few are those that make up maximum problems.

These.

An exchange that does not ask for KYC, they'd be surprised how much people are going there if they become trusted. I'm betting for the future of exchange to be the DEX of the ones with a .onion extension exchanges because that at least will make it more anonymous for traders but it's still the trust that matters.
475  Economy / Speculation / Re: say welcome to THE FOMO... on: May 03, 2020, 07:29:21 AM
as we are getting closer to the halving and the recovery ends the price is starting to get warmed up for the big rises to start happening again.
on top of all that, we had all those panic sellers who are now left with a lot of fiat among them who were waiting for the dump to repeat so they can buy back.

here comes the FOMO...

surely enough within half a day price is nearly up $1000 and right now traffic to exchanges is increasing with crazy speed. the number of withdrawals are also so much that transaction fees have jumped up about 30 times...

where do you think the price will be by the end of halving event?

FOMO is inevitable to happen. And in my opinion it came a little bit early.
I thought that we are going to see a huge drop and then follow an upward trend. I have a feeling that in the next days the market is going to go a little bit down and then reach nearly the ATH.

It could go down or It happened already when Bitcoin fall at $4,100 on March. That was the most remarkable time for the bottom seekers this year. Someone who bought at that level is already smiling these days.
There were people who actually thinks that the bottom price this year would be around $3,000. I don't think these people are about to see such figure when everyone is FOMOing already. Bitcoin is swinging from $8,800 to $9,000 level from the past 48 hrs. now.
The market movement today is indeed fueling a lot of investors to buy back because of the block halving effect.

Some of them who bought during the dip the last march may have dumped already for profit because of the lockdown. This lockdown also had forced people to sell their assets which likely those coins are now with the investors who could be selling for $12k price to double.  The Fomo is here, hope to reach more than the ATH this year.

476  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bloody ants in my laptop :'( on: May 02, 2020, 10:29:38 AM
Ants will eat up the rubber under the keys and will cause malfunction. I'm always experiencing this type of issue because I eat in front of my desktop. You mix vinegar with chilli and spray it on your keyboard. They'd not come back.
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free Listing DEX on: May 02, 2020, 06:40:52 AM

Even Binance could not catch a serious volume with the DEX it installed. I do not think it is possible to make progress in this regard with such small initiatives. Also, dozens of DEX experiences in the past show that it is only a utopia to have DEXs. We all use DEX as a last resort. Therefore, I do not think it will be a successful DEX in the near future.

DEX shouldn't be our last resort though but because we are looking forward to profiting more that's why users go to CEX for liquidity. But Binance DEX doesn't work like a DEX, it forces users to go to their CEX when they withdraw their funds, you can't go sending out the BEP tokens outside wallet. What you have to do to get out of Binance DEX is to exchange your BEP tokens.
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free Listing DEX on: May 02, 2020, 05:50:07 AM

We've also learned the inefficiency of the ERC20 tokens which any dumbass can create one and distributes these tokens without value. These created ERC20 Tokens can be sent as payment but will have no equivalent in wei nor satoshi. It will just be a waste, it made the ETH a platform for scams.
479  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Correction in the next days? on: May 01, 2020, 09:41:36 AM
I am not expecting a correction.

A correction is a term that is used to describe a reversal after a significant market movement (usually over a short time frame).

If anything, the current bullish momentum is the correction following the events of Black Thursday, which saw BTC and most other cryptocurrencies get absolutely stomped in Mid-March.

I dont think we'll go far below $8,000 until some time after the halving (if only temporarily).

Agreed that the current upwards movement is a correction from the panic sell back in March.

But also I would certainly describe a drop from 9400 to 8400, which we already had in the day after the pump, as a correction, and I bet it goes lower still.

That's not a correction but rather a hype due to the upcoming halving. This is common scenario that bitcoin pump to an incredible percentage just like what happened on previous halving. The big drop from 9400 to 8400 is what you called correction due to sudden price charge. The march panic sell already corrected when the price reach 6000 to 7000 range on that same month also.

This big price movement is just a hype that whales always do to manipulate price by using the halving event.

No. Halving is well known about and is fully priced in. Any pump is not due to halving. Pump is either from whales initiating a pump and retail market following through or from the price simply continuing to correct back from the pandemic panic dump, or really more likely simply from the natural occurrence of the market pushing on a big resistance zone until it broke and then as what often happens if shoots up afterwards, then corrects downwards - that is an exact description of what happened the past two days. The market is not suddenly hearing about the halving two weeks before it occurs, it is an extremely well known event.

Whether they initiate the pump, it's hard to tell whether they feel the FOMO or will they dump soon. The 9K resistance might prevent the breakout to further reach that 9400. I doubt the FOMO can help break it so the possibility for the price to dip to 8000 is high. $8k isn't even a strong support level.

But then I can say a good start for halving FOMO. After halving it will be another pump.

480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Blockburn, A big Failure on: May 01, 2020, 09:08:28 AM
As a bounty hunter do not always expect positive results always, things like this will happen from time to time, a lesson to be learned here is 'not all listed bounties are good', whether listed or not anything can still happen
Yes, you said something very wise, but unfortunately I disagree with the main sentence that you wrote, because all the hunters obviously always expect positive results on the project they are taking part in, because they also appreciate the time when promoting the project bounty, Did you not appreciate your time when joining the bounty project?

They were expecting at least they can sell their token even for few cents because that means they were paid but if the bounty hunters aren't paid with the tokens and the price already plummets to a low well, its a terrible decision to promote them.

The project I guess wasn't that attractive anything at all. It was made to look attractive when they started the promotion by building some volume.
