461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you stake on a potential(obvious) loosing team just for love? on: March 13, 2024, 11:32:49 PM
I don't think I would cause I already have a principal not to stake on my favourite club cause it often affects my judgement and I have lost so many times cause of such.

Whe  it comes yo betting I do keep emotions aside, so if its so obvious that they woudl lose I won't pick them, but that doesn't mean I wont support them still or maybe deny them cause they lost.

Fanning a club goes far deeper than betting on them, so people can get into fight just for the sake of their clubs, so yes most people would not because they do t know the obvious truth, but just to put hope that they might win and surely would end up with a heart break.
462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Indirect victims of gambling addiction on: March 13, 2024, 11:27:53 PM
In life anyone that is irresponsible would bring negative effects to the people around him, gamblers alike.

If a gambler is notorious and he eventually owes a debt and his debtors where to come to look for him, he would have no other choice than to bring the problem hole to his family and in a way they have suffers indirectly from his habit. And even worse he ends up impacting such attitude to his children or people around him.
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the juice Worth the squeeze? on: March 13, 2024, 10:54:23 PM
I Don't think or have considered predicting matches a waste of time cause I actually like this part, they are so many times that I didn't play or stake the games or matches I predicted but I did it just cause i enjoy doing it, sometimes just to check my accuracy and other times to just play around.

Gambling Is clearly a game of luck and nothing sweets more than winning, so it's worth it in a way the time and money that is used, just don't let it become habit cause it can lead to financial harm.
464  Economy / Gambling / Re: justbit.io asks for KYC (their site say NO KYC) then confiscates my winnings on: March 13, 2024, 10:50:22 PM
The confusion here is that you didn't read their terms and conditions, they might have just said no kyc to convince you make deposit, cause many sites doesn't request KYC for deposit but only after you want to withdraw.

That's why it's good to read terms and conditions, cause if you did you won't find yourself in this mess right now.

I think such casinos that lie when doing promotion are not honest and are trying to mislead users into making deposits, but as users we should always do the extra check to make sure we don't fall I to such traps.
465  Economy / Gambling / Re: My betting strategies on: March 13, 2024, 10:45:37 PM
You didn't clarify what sports or games your talking about but I think its football from the points you gave out, I think everyone checks out club performance before they make predictions but strategies sometimes can fail and you can lose.

Building strategies are good but doesn't guarantee winnings, but I can help you create a pattern that cam help you make better decisions in gambling.

467  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which Casino and Sportsbook have the best UI? Which others can improve? on: March 13, 2024, 10:33:26 PM
I think most casino have very good ui interface designed to give you users a good experience, especially making it easy to understand by even new users and navigate smoothly.

I've not tried too many casino sites before but from the once I've seen they all have a good ui, if we are grading based on usability and how easy it is to navigate.
468  Economy / Gambling / Re: Need help. I GOT PHISHED FOR 9K ON STAKE.COM on: March 13, 2024, 10:00:46 PM
I dont think there is any way to get your money back, those kind of transactions are mostly irreversible and you can't blame stake since they said they can't do anything, phishing links and websites are becoming quite the menace for gamblers and the rate has increased these days, I think a little fault is from you for think stake would be asking you about personal information to access your account. If you had been educated on this you won't have fallen for such scam attempts.
469  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buy the DIP, and HODL! on: March 13, 2024, 03:34:26 PM

As a general proposition, if you are busy trying to time the market and waiting for dips or even getting involved in shitcoins you are probably wasting time and/or money.  Perhaps the only exception would be if you are in a location in which salaries (wages) are so low that you would be able to make more money by trading shitcoins than you would make in regular jobs... but you still would need some amount of capital to put at risk when you are doing some of the trading.. and so trading takes a lot of practice, and frequently you will need to use capital (potentially even your bitcoin capital) to be able to make money. which usually would not be a good idea to be putting BTC capital at risk, so then you may well just be creating an illusion of profits than actually how many profits that are actually making through trading shitcoins.

IMO i dont its even advisable to go into trading as a regular job or even as a major source of income as someone who is not well established financially, trading comes with risk and its has a level if uncertainty that makes it to fall into the category of not been a good source of income especially a primary one as in this case.

If your income is low then trading is an Even worse option cause you might end up losing every thing to one wrong prediction, and trying to mix up trading and investing in bitcoin would not be advisable cause you would definitely find your self in situations where you need to compromise one to better the other and in most cases you would chose to trade over buying bitcoin cause it offers more quick profits than bitcoin. And trading at times can lead to addictive habits of always wanting to trade to cover up loses that has been made or even to get money to do other things, to be sincere i dont think trading and investing are compatible cause one involves long term thinking and the other is quite short term and you need different mentality to be successful doing both.

IMO a better advice would be to get a much better source of income and then focus wholly on investing in bitcoin and if you must trade then you would have enough to allocate to both, but its much better to focus in one and in my case investing in bitcoin.
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Anthony Joshua vs. Francis Ngannou - March 9 on: March 12, 2024, 07:03:51 PM
Never in a second thought Ngannou was going to be defeated in such a kindergarten manner by Anthony Joshua, even though i never really gave it to Joshua I had the conviction that peradventure he won he was going to feel it like he hit a rock for sure after the fight but the show was the opposite.

I had to repeated watch that Joshua's punch that knocked Ngannou off his feet as I was shock myself for someone that never expected things to go this way. I think Joshua seized the day and proved a better boxer dispelling all misgiving comparison  among fans. At least for now congrats champ...

Am not that surprised, because before the fight, I have already stated it here, that both fighters are from the same root, almost all the attributes of Ngannou, Anthony Joshua also possess it, so in as much as Ngannou have the power to give a knock out punch, Anthony Joshua also possess the power also.

Another thing about Ngannou is that the match against wilder, I just felt like he was underated, so wilder took him lightly compared to Anthony Joshua, so congratulations to Anthony Joshua for showing him that has a lot to learn.

Right from before this event I was thinking it would be a very tough fight for Joshua but after watching it my view changed, Anthony had power punched this milf with some hard-core knock down punches that he needed oxygen to survive.

Well I expected this from Joshua, it's not the first time he is showing this much strength and having a flawless win like this one.
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A personal view on: March 12, 2024, 06:57:06 PM
I've been around a lot of gamblers and you would find them in all their types according to what they say and do, and there there several arguments and views that they have on different issues, and I'd like to hear your on them too.

👉behind the mask of loving to gamble if you get rich would you still gamble or never again?

Once a gambler always a gambler as that old saying goes.Of course though once you get rich you would think twice to gamble again as from your gambling experience you would have come to some conclusions which overall you would be losing money in the long run and getting rich is something that happens extremely rarely.I personally would stop gambling right away though as I know people who have won lotteries of multi million dollars and still managed to ruin their lives because of their gambling addiction, bad friendship and relatives and many other things that impacted their life,so once you get rich put the money in the bank and call it a day.

Most people often delude themselves that they could leave old habits just like that especially when it was part of what get them rich, I've heard some notorious gamblers that indulge often say if I win a huge amount I won't gamble again but yet when they do they would only increase their stake and even plan to stake more than they do before.

So yeah most people would say they won't but we all know deep down that we would
472  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: March 12, 2024, 06:49:38 PM
Just a warning in case it prevents someone from falling into this shitty scheme.

I was checking a crypto-casino with very easy entry just asking email and country, and allowed deposits in the main cryptos. I didn't need to deposit anything to realize that to withdraw funds they did require a complete KYC with ID, etc. I also tested registering from a banned country and even indicating it on the form, and it does not prevent you from making a deposit.

I guess I stated the obvious, but I don't see the point for gamblers in using this.

EDIT
I'll share the site since so much people is asking, but I guess this is usual:
https://elroyalecasinobonuses.com/ with a referal who leads you to the domain you'll be logged

In FAQ you find it clearly: https://elroyalecasinobonuses.com/faq/

Quote
Do I have to submit any documents when depositing money?
There are no documents needed for making a deposit at El Royale Casino. However, in some rare cases, we might ask you to provide a Credit Card Validation form to ensure the safety of your transactions.

How do I request a payout?
After you have submitted all the necessary documents for proving your identity, you will be able to request a payout in the Cashier section of your account. If you are using your mobile device, you need to go to “Menu,” and then to the section “Payout”.

El Royale is operated by Wonder Play Company N.V. having its office in Willemstad, Curacao. Company Registration number 162233.

When a user makes an aggregate lifetime total of deposits exceeding USD 2000 or requests a withdrawal of any amount at El Royale, they are obliged to undergo a full KYC procedure, wherein the user shall submit some basic details about themselves and then upload the files listed below:

A copy of Government Issued Photo ID (in some cases front and back depending on the doc)
A selfie of themselves holding the ID doc
A bank statement/Utility Bill

Yeah, pretty fair: give me 2K with no questions, but you won't be able to get a penny without fulfilling the rules. I'ts a regulatory joke. Even is a gambler trap: " I'll try to make it a big ammount so it's worth it to do the paperwork, then you loose. Unacceptable

That's why it's important to read the terms and condition of this online casinos before doing anything or using them, they mostly do this not to scare users away from verification cause they know that the moment your money is with them you have no other choice than to do the kyc verification.

And sometimes it's for safety cause scammers also use them to keep funds.

👉 how do you view women gambling in your area:

Just the same with men gambler and I don't see anything wrong about it. Women can do what men can do. In some country maybe there's gender discrimination since some may think that male are dominant but they should erase that thoughts since we are now in modern world where everyone is equal.

I guess the feminist would feel so good about your reply 😁😁, I'm not any anti but I personally give everyone their equal rights to act as they like but in other areas aside gambling like in the society I see men as head and above and won't like to operate at same level as women.

It's interesting to talk about this, because so many people say gambling is just for fun, including me, I also say the same thing. but I wonder when you ask whether this is really just having fun or are we just covering up our annoyance by saying this is just for fun?

I tried to remember the past when I was new to gambling. At first I also thought that gambling could be used as an activity to earn additional income, at first everything went fine. But after I kept losing and I won't say I wasn't annoyed, I was very angry at that time because the thing I expected to make money actually made me lose money. then before it was too late I realized that what I was doing was wrong, because there is no way to win at gambling other than luck.

After that I no longer thought of it as something that could give me money, I was calmer when I thought like that. So the conclusion is that it depends on what we are looking for in gambling, if we think of it as something that can make money it will make us angry, but if we think of it as filling our time and having fun then the feeling we feel is also different.

Really happy you guys are giving your honest reply, cause I've seen most people say gambling is for fun but my quest is at what level, if I am a millionaire and I gamble to win millions with astable of 100k above then I should be hurt if it doesn't play out, but if I'm using mere hundred or little thousand like 100-2000k then I'm not affected by my loses and can actually make it a fun habit.

So to me I think it's all about your stake and how financially stable your income is.
Yes, there is nothing wrong when we say something honestly, especially when it comes to money. And normally anyone who loses money will definitely feel annoyed or regretful, I will not deny that things are something that is very normal like that.

You are right, one of the things that makes us not think much about our losses in gambling is a very good financial situation. Like rich people, for them spending $1000 at a time may not be a problem for them because they earn much more than that in their income. However, for some people, losing just $500 at one time will really make them regret it because if you remember their income is commensurate with what they spend.

I also sometimes hear that rich people will spend a lot of money in one gambling game, but it doesn't cause any problems for them. And if it is done by someone who is in a bad financial situation, it will cause new problems in their life. We have been taught how to manage finances well, don't let our expenses be greater than our income.

And that's why they always say gamble responsibly cause you won't use someone else stake to be like him not knowing his financal status.

Sometimes this guys that give predictions on X normally stake as high as 1 million on some small odds and woudl advice you to do alike and you know that not every game plays out fine, if you follow suite and lose knowing that your are not as financially stable as them you put yourself in a big state of emergency and might even go into debts.
475  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It’s unlikely that anyone besides you will be happy with your winnings. on: March 10, 2024, 09:14:02 AM
Mostly I find it irrelevant if someone would be happy for my winnings or not and I don't feel bad or envy towards others own too so it's not a thign to care about or have crossed mind before.

Anyone that is angry about your winning would only be cause he maybe didn't win too or didn't pick and if he is close because you didn't share.

Yes basically I'm the only one that should be happy about my winning cause I toke the risk alone and I don't usually disclose this to anyone.
476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I just woke up and saw wins in my gambling app on: March 10, 2024, 08:43:16 AM
I know this is not a new experience for many old gamblers that has been into gambling, but for me it's a new one, I've played a game over a week ago and I didn't even bother to check cause I never expect it to play out or let's say I mostly forgot since it was a busy week, just yesterday I logged it to check out the booking code my friend sent to me so I could fund my account and try it, the nest thign i saw from sporty was a win on my screen, I was shocked thinking it as a network glitch or something then I went to check my balance I had just won some cash, I was happy.

And worst of it, I never expected that game to play it was a rare case of I just tried my luck.

This is another reason why gambling can not be a job or anything like a source of income cause you can't know your games would play out and no predictions is ever accurate.

If you have such experience share it with us let's see the lucky guys around.

Keep it up, this is the type of mindset that I want for gamblers around me, not being too focused on gambling makes you a better gambler, you will be able to control your urge for gambling and risk only what you can, it shows that you don't depend much on gambling, you are just doing it for fun.

It's better to not expect and be a winner than to expect to be a winner and the opposite keeps happening, especially from something like gambling which depends on luck completely.

Do not rely on gambling, do it when you are comfortable to lose the money, and go back to your normal life to keep chasing your dreams, don't Chase dreams using gambling, go for investment or go into a good business, when you get lucky, use some of the money to fund your business even further, but don't expect that you will always be this lucky.

Yeah thanks for the praise, but I can swear I've never gambled for fun before, I'm just like everyone else that gambles to win but I just don't let it get into me and I mostly don't like losing so I preferably stay away from it as often as I can.

I enjoy predicting matches, maybe that's why I find myself gambling sometimes cause I've made good predictions and end up not playing them or I'll just forget then remember when it has played out .

I havent been able to experience this stuff ever in my gambling activity or experience on which whenever i do make out some bets then it would really be that too impossible for me to forget something
not only just that im already betting some money on that one but rather i do really tend to see to those games that i have made out such bets, it might not be live but i would definitely be
checking out later on even if im that busy but well we do have different conditions in life on which there are people who would really be able to forget things due to extremely busy.

If ever you've seen some winnings on your gambling account on which you are really that unexpecting it then for sure it would really be bringing out that kind of smile in your face.
Specially if the amount would really be something significant then you would really be happy with that. So far i havent been able to experience up such condition
and just like said that it would be impossible for me to forget something whenever i do make bets.

Anyone would definitely feel good about such an experience, just wondering why you cant take your mind off it, to Me I feel if I put my mind in it and check all the time I might end up cashing out my games if I notice any game going wrong and it has cost me a lot of whole winnings so I end up preferring to forget about it, till it has ended unless its a long bookie that would go on for days, then I do check if so I could rebet if I lose along the line.

I've been around a lot of gamblers and you would find them in all their types according to what they say and do, and there there several arguments and views that they have on different issues, and I'd like to hear your on them too.

👉 how do you view women gambling in your area: I've never seen a woman standing in any bet store before gambling, but I've been on many WhatsApp channels that you would see a lot of girls that are present asking for bookies and predictions on sports match to play at home. Do you see them as pretenders or just trying to hide their image?

👉how do you view notorious gamblers: I've been around some bet shop and have seen people watse more than a months salary on virtual or very huge amounts and woudl be sweating out of lose and have no choice but to chase their loses and end up losing even more. Do you view this persons as irresponsible to their family and themselves? Or do you pity them as victims of gambling habit as it can happen to even the most righteous person?

👉how do you really feel when you lose money on gambling?  Do you feel bad or just lie to yourself that's it was for fun?

👉how do you spend your gambling wins: I know a lot of persons that woudl say gambling wins is for enjoyment and would use to to buy cloths or shoes or may go out to have fun. And you also like this? Or do you use you gambling wins for other issues?

Let's have fun keep those honest replies coming, nothing to lie about, if you feel shy about the reply then just go for the options that you are okay with 😊😇😇

If you are interested in seeing women at the casino, come over here and see for yourself. I believe that there are some countries where women may not be coming out openly to bet but is not win for ladies to gamble here.

I have witnessed how some persons can gamble to the last penny in their account and it makes no sense that any body should have a habit of not being able to control themselves during gambling.

I don't feel happy anytime I lose my bets but I can't do anything than to let go of that hurting feelings and still try more luck.

I spend my gambling wining based on the needs that is available at that moment.

Would you mind giving more information concerning over here, yeah I think some Arab countries would have laws against that judging from their laws and other stuff, or maybe women just don't like the society to view them as irresponsible for gambling since its generally seen that way in most countries or areas.

No-one feels good about loses, but that doesn't mean we wo t try out some more luck, but don't end up in the cycle of chasing loses and losing more.
479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A person view on: March 10, 2024, 08:29:29 AM
Women Gambling:

Brick-and-mortar betting shops may seem like boys' clubs, but make no mistake - women like to gamble too! Many of them just prefer doing it from the privacy of their homes or phones.  And why not? The online sites have just as many fun and exciting games.  Craps, slots, bingo - no matter your taste there's something for every lady gambler out there.  There 's no shame in either!

Notorious Gamblers:

I've seen some folks lose big time when they're gambling.  And sure, blowing that much cash seems pretty dang irresponsible if it means their families are gonna suffer for it.  But I think gambling can be as addictive as anything else - it sinks its hooks in and don't let go easy.  So even as Im shaking my head when someone bets their whole paycheck, part of me also feels bad for them too and  it's like they're trapped. Just stuck in this nasty cycle where they can't stop themselves.  Makes me wanna try helping them rather than just judging.

Losing Money:

Losing money is never fun.  I mean, who actually enjoys losing, right? Even if you're just gambling for a laugh with friends, taking a big loss still kinda bites.  You might pretend it doesn't bother you and just brush it off but deep down inside, that empty feeling still sucks.

Winning Money:

On the flip side, scoring a windfall definitely gives you a rush! It's a total thrill when luck goes your way. For me personally,, its a chance to indulge in a little treat for myself or maybe sock some cash away toward a bigger goal down the road and  either way there's no right or wrong way to use your earnings - just have fun with it!

To be honest I never knew a woman can be so indulged in gambling up to the point that she was busy checking her sporty bet app while in church, I was sitting right behind her and the view was so clear, I was surprised as this was my first time to ever see such from a woman.

You have quite the emotions concerning notorious gamblers, have you actually helped any of them out of such habit before?, did they actually listen to you ? #GENERAL QUESTION: I've tried talking to some but they end up taking about those times that it used to work for them or barely listen, just wondering If I the same experience everywhere.
480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take time to read the terms and conditions of casinos before registering? on: March 10, 2024, 08:24:21 AM
The terms and conditions of casinos and other companies is usually very lengthy and somehow boring for some people. Hence , many people rarely find time to read them. They may actually contain some of the complaints that people raise about some casinos such requiring KYC if there is need or suspicion of money laundering activities.

What is your take on this?

I can't remember ever reading one, and I think these companies do it on purpose adding so much information and policies that i don't care to know about, but in there are also some policies that can affect our user experience, like Binance agreed not to share your personal details with any third parties but they do with 4th party which is the government or any governmental bodies.

Reading those terms and conditions would show you what to do and what not to do when dealing with them and know what they do with your informations and maybe withdrawal policies and blocking or restrictions of account and funds I guess these are necessary information we should know about as users.
