By spam I would list next:
#1 Bitcointalk account sale
#2 Facebook account sale
#3 Gaming cards and vouchers
#4 Netflix accounts
#5 Starbucks gift cards (I saw a few), as its not a food forum!
If Bitcointalk restrict sale of this kind of accounts I think it will be less LQ content in Market area.
Because of:
- Accounts are mostly generated with purpose of sale and nothing else. All of them are just pumped. No quality.
- Gaming cards are not legal to sale as it is 2nd hand sale and that is not allowed by OG card selled (iTunes for example).
- Netflix so cheap? It is obvious they are hacked or cracked. Allowed? Why? Some people paid full price for it and some skid selling it for almost nothing.
And at the end, Starbucks GCs. It is funny to sell those here. It is just funny.

People used to leave negative trust for account sellers a lot but I think most have just accepted it happens now and that it isn't necessarily a bad thing. I think most people automatically assumed accounts would be used to scam but it's generally accepted that the vast majority do not and are just used for signature campaigns.
Yes I have to agree with that. But why does the community allows signature campaigns for people who have negative trust? Some -1 is ok, but -20 and still here I would not allow it. Because there is a reason why he/she got that trust and it should have some restrictions at least. |

Many people are creating accounts here to pump them and sell later when rank goes up.
It is clear that he is spamming to pump up the post count.
New accounts should be restricted about new posts idk, like a month or so, by limiting them to 5 posts per day or so.
You cannot just come and post anything. It aint rite. I would like to be a Hero member too and to gain a bunch of BTCBTCBTC per month, but I dont want to spam or bother with spammy content. Community is about to be social. Being social? Well, search about it.

I dont see why is it important at all? Avatar is just a picture which represents nothing. As it is a serioius forum I think that avatar is not good idea as anyone can upload picture by its own choice which can be rude, nude or sick. And banning a preson because of avatar is funny too. Thats why there is no avatar. |
