You mean incorrect share? If it yes, mostly caused by OC, and or GPU memory error. Try to check your GPU memory error using HWINFO. Normally under-clock will solve this, but as you said it's isn't. so, memory error may most possible.

......................... I was mining with claymore dual miner ethermine for etherium, dcr on supernova, in my mining program I can see my hashrates for ethereum and decred, checking on ethermine, I can see my statistics earning etc but still nothing on supernova, I let it run overnight (knowing that some servers takes a while to reflect your transactions) but still not showing any balance/eraning/hashrates or action that shows that I'm connected. I been receiving emails from supernova that there are blocks found from other members, I contacted them about a day and a half and haven't got an answer as yet =/
So, your E pool is Ethermine, and D pool you are using Suprnova. Both showing hashing speed and other in Claymore, Ethermine is fine but Suprnova was showing nothing there, right? Sound like pool issue, you have done the right thing by contacting their support, just be patient to get respond.

but my experience is with only 2-3 coins and am planning to have atleast 9-10 in total this year....can't stick with one That is an exception. A few people here have to give you suggestion about the device that you need, seem good enough to your needs.

1. I finally figure out how how to mine ethereum with Claymore's dual miner, I connected it to ethermine and it works, but sometimes it will get disconnected, I rather earn a bit less with nicehas than be at work and get a notification that my worker has been inactive on my email. 2. I been trying to dual mine decred with supernova, but I'm not sure is connected, in my mining programs it shows me the speed and hashes but in supernova it docent show any information form hash rate, balance or any earnings, any ideas how can I fix it? I contact supernova a day ago and still waiting for an answer, I might miss some configuration on dpool, any suggestions or leads to a solutions will be greatly appreciated. and thanks in advance
1. What kind of disconnect you mean, more specific, please. Was your rig freeze? or still alive but not mine? 2. Have you waited for long enough on suprnova? and still, nothing changes? because sometimes pool needs a few time to update miner stat.

Old gen PC seems okay. I'm using AMD Athlon x3 (8GB RAM) for Peercoin (PPC) (Peercoin only). I'm doing stacking and solo mining with Peercoin at 2015. For multiple coins stacking may you need a middle-rank PC, and focused on Memory (RAM) and storage size (also read-write speed).
I also run my Bitcoin Core on that PC. If you have old one PC at home, maybe you can try it first, before buying the new one.

You need to tell us which coins (Algorithm) that you want to mine, so we can suggest you which mining software that you can use. For now, you can follow this link. You will find the list of GPU mining software that may you can use. https://gpu0.com/mining/gpu-mining-software/ Edit: If you can't setup your mining software, just do this advice: Click the get started tab and learn for yourself, if you can't , watch some youtube videos for Claymore configuration but since even 12 years old have configured it I doubt you will have difficulties.

It's called mining hack, lol. But with $30 seems like too expensive (Amazon price), your cost looks better, my DIY wood rack costly around $15.

I love those saphires, I have 2 580 8gbs in my regular pc, I mine with them, my best cards by far. Aha, but that's not my favorite. R9 295X2 (middle one) is my favorite. Power hungry, but stronger. That's my old rig before I'm moving to my new place.

Honestly, I can't read your post. Introduction section seems okay. Next part, I can't read it at all. Your post formatting was messed up. No one wants to read your post, even if that's useful info.
It's okay. You can be better next time. I think the author’s writing is profound, and if you can give a description more clearly, i will support you ,but if you cant, just be quiet and respect others
I didn't criticize its content. I'm just criticizing about writing's formats. How to give a space between content, how to provide the sub-title, how to split content itself, etc. Nice attempt to get some merits. Is this the type of quality that the merit system brings to this forum? I appreciate the efforts of the author and how he did this instead of begging like other newbies out there, but the sad reality is, its a lot of words but the message is pretty simple and could have been fully explained using less.
You got him. Let's appreciate his efforts.

it's really cool~~
Thank you I'm just trying to remembering all of the miners, that mining still exists. Come on Punch the FUD, guys!

[BUMP] Today I found my old post, with a little bit edited, maybe can be one of alternative in this current situation.

You're forgetting the most important thing they ask for after being given all the info end explanation: "please give me the bat file" Oh yeah, thanks for adding. But actually, that's really happened at this time. It seems like they can't find any info on this whole internet network with a ton of info on it of course. Or may they are too lazy. Really? Wow What's wrong with us then, being able to find anything we need in few minutes without asking the same questions on the forum over and over Yeah, that's the problems. I think everyone has almost the same text query to search on the search engine in the same case. Then why are people asking the same question over and over again? Silly, right?

Coherent is definitely different with bad formatting, and it's related to writing structure. OP's writing format didn't give enough differences between Point, sub-point, and content itself.
This is important when we try to giving information to peoples. Isn't it?
You look like my tutor when I was at the university, a reminder --> we are not in any university and this does not need any academic writing. Is it true? So, I'll give you (E) on esthetic, LOL. Wherever you are, giving whatever information must be in a nice way. In this case, writing format is important, so that information more understandable.

Introduction Many people have questions and asked us why the hashrate of rigs is less than that shown by the mining pool. Though many are told that less than 5% is a normal range, miners still found it a black box. The information asymmetry problem confuses everyone except those vested interest groups. In some circumstances, mining pools are prone to be accused of stealing computing power from miners. However, things are not that simple. To figure out this, you are suggested to take 10 min reading this post. Let’s open the black box and find the truth therein today. .........

Basically we have 2 groups of people
Group 1 - Power MBO, HDD + all riser from one PSU and all the cards from other PSU Group 2 - Power MBO , HDD from one PSU and all the cards with their riser from other PSU
I Don't know which one is correct, because all options will work until you don't get difference in electric current then it will all go to smoke.
Both work indeed, yes I do both of that scheme. It depends on conditions when we have PSUs with big enough wattage, powering the risers and GPUs from the same source is better. It is about power management, optimizing and risk management.

Is there a possibility to estimate earnings for pos + pow? Can you know and how can you know how many pos and how many pow blocks will there be daily? Does anything like that exist? Something that could even somewhat nearly estimate? Basically, it can't predict, in another word it is random. But it can give you more benefit if you are long terms miners of course. You can do mining and stake the coins that you get from the mining process.
|
|
|
Yes, it is! When blocks solved by PoS, mean miners (pooled / solo) get nothing, and otherwise. When in a day, people that staked coins (PoS) solved more block it will affect miners daily net earning (PoW).

Have you tried to switch PSUs position?
-Gigabyte Xtreme Gaming 1200w to a motherboard, SSD, CPU, 3 risers and 3 GPU
-Corsair HX1200 to 3 riser and 3 GPU.
How are you connecting that two PSU? Using add2 PSU (or something similar)? Or jump-start?

|

Didn't proof anything, A few GPU rigs can use a single worker. Let's wait and see what will gonna happen until the day coming.
