i'd just like to point out that you've fallen victim to the coinsupply myth  ie that dev 15mill is not actually 3% of coin supply code https://github.com/OBAViJEST/boatcoinfinal/blob/master/src/main.h#L38static const int64_t MAX_MONEY = 500,000,000 * COIN; pow rewards 150 coins * 750,000 blocks = 112,500,000 (ending over 2 years away) pos 5% dev pre-mine 15,000,000 coins it is true that 15mill is 3% of 500mill so problem is thinking max money of 500 mill has anything to o with total coin supply, well it don't it is instead the most coins you can send in one transaction .. total coin supply is actually infinite (well actually not because the code will explode at some largish number), it will keep compounding on the pos return until then  anyway. just a minor misunderstanding. lol have fun with BOAT oops.... well either way, I am not staking the premine. Original .03 x 500,000,000 = 15,000,000. about 10,000,000 will be given away, should be the next day or two (will provide tx and recipient details/info). That leaves me with 5,000,000 - 1%, which also will not be staked, you can see addresses in explorer. False positives bro - almost all altcoin's 'bitcoin miner' programs show up as virus/trojans when scanned - we have 59 active connections as I type this, mining pools which utilize these applications, and no issues! If you're truly worried, just run it on a virtual machine, or VPS (as many are doing now) - then shoot me your BOAT address & we'll get you caught up with the rest o' me crew Either way, thanks for the well-wishes! |

There was a time when CryptoCoderz would write a weekly status update (Update Friday?), to keep people informed what was happening. Can we have it back please? This place has been silent for weeks, with no notice from the devs whatsoever. Even after asking on Slack what they were doing, I wasn't able to get a clear answer. I'm sure everyone here is hungry for news, even if it's bad news ... just something ... The devs working hard, as BelgianBoy stated. I can also confirm lots of work being done, very busy in a lot of aspects (hence the silence) |
