461  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Questions about bitcoins on: October 04, 2015, 01:58:28 AM
2) Paypal and bitcoin don't work well.  Just a lot of scammers if you trade BTC for paypal.   But no you can't put into paypal you would have to use a 3rd party to get paypal money for them and it's risky.     I highly suggest using a exchange linked to a checking account instead of paypal.

I just want to pop in for a quick second and mention that it's also technically against the PayPal ToS to buy/sell bitcoins with PayPal funds. That's why chargebacks against bitcoins always work, and also why PayPal and bitcoins don't mix.

You could always do a bank transfer for the bitcoins, and then connect your bank to PayPal and use the funds from there.

@OP, you might want to close this thread now that it's answered. (It's on the bottom left.)
462  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Buying Negative Trusted on: October 04, 2015, 01:55:26 AM
i am fine with you doing that...

i think you could contact DT-members if they would remove the negative trust if you can proof that you bought that account, because their is no reason the account cant be trusted any more.

(IMHO they should also remove positive-trust-ratings on bought accounts)

They will never, ever, ever remove the negative ratings on accounts just because it was supposedly bought. Unless it's an extremely rare case; so rare that it's virtually nonexistent. In reality, there's no real way you can prove that you legitimately sold the account to a separate entity. But you're right; positive trust ratings should be removed but they probably won't be simply because sellers are greedy. Smiley

Well negative trust account might give your account negative trust also because ban might lead to ban so also negative might lead to negative.

Look, er... bans =/= negatives. The rules of banned accounts do not apply to accounts with negative trust. I'm sure that some people would tag you with a negative if you're found in ownership of an account with a negative trust rating, but not if you were just testing signatures and stuff on it.
463  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Level 1 Seller Fiverr Account With $32 In Wallet on: October 04, 2015, 01:41:17 AM
The $332 in the wallet can be used to buy gigs yes.

The account is also available for you to set up bank transfer so you can receive your earnings straight into your bank
In your opening thread you said you have $32 in the account but right now you claim to have $332 in the wallet, this is confusing.

It's not confusing. It's a typo; he put $32 in both the title and the OP so I assume it's $32.

@OP, can you give me an estimate of what you're looking for? I may be interested.
464  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: ► BTCAdvertising.com - Get conversions on your Ads on: October 04, 2015, 01:24:12 AM
What actually drew my attention to your thread is the title Get conversions on your Ads are you claiming you could deliver a guaranteed conversion to any bitcoin related business?

I doubt it; there would be no real way for them to track the conversion rates accurately except from the owner themselves, who would probably twist some details here and there.
465  Economy / Auctions / Re: Steam Account with 27 games, worth total $537 on: October 03, 2015, 09:37:41 PM
Maybe this forum is not the best place to sell such account? There might be more specialized forums in the net.

I don't think any forums are capable to sell Steam accounts safely and easily, since they're not allowed by the company the account was registered in the first place. I may be wrong though.
466  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BEWARE --->Smith Janifer<--- BEWARE --- Is this JerryCurlzzz?? on: October 03, 2015, 09:33:51 PM
More details? Like a link to this "Smith Janifer" here on the forum or the doubling scam site URL, BTC address they wanted you to send to, anything?

Next time just go along with it and gather more details, then post here. It might at least force them into buying a new domain, setting up a new facebook profile and all that. Waste their time like they wasted your time.
I never even thought about that.  I will do just that. Thanks for the advise.  Grin

You missed the first part of what he said: can you give us more info on the scam site? I think Facebook allows anyone to message anyone (but I'm not completely familiar with how Facebook works) so it might be that, but most probably you're right.
467  Economy / Lending / Re: I need loans .015 on: October 03, 2015, 09:29:05 PM
yes , i need urgent 0.01 btc

all search yesterday

No matter how urgent your loan request is, or what amount you are looking for (unless it's around 1 satoshi), you will not get a loan. If you haven't learned this from the posts above then now's the time to learn.
468  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: selling BTC for Skrill [!] on: October 03, 2015, 09:27:06 PM
Pm me how much skrill you expecting.

do you want to buy it all??

He's probably asking for the rate in which you'll be expecting Skrill; e.g. Preev, BitStamp, etc. Does your rate change as the buyer buys more?

Meh, that's not really any proof. Just because he bought something from another user and sent bitcoins to him doesn't mean that the seller is his alt; that may have been the case there.
470  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: scammer on: October 03, 2015, 04:10:46 PM
scammer close his topic after i posted that he use his skype on many alts see :
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1199532.0

He edited his thread that his trade was complete, but if he were a scammer then it would be more than likely that he was lying. @b itcoinloo, it would be nice if you could provide proof of trade.
471  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Attempted scam by coinmaster222 on: October 03, 2015, 01:46:23 PM
the honest truth is I have more important things going on than worrying about here, but will do it now

So what you're saying is that your account was hacked, but you didn't feel a need to "worry about" changing your password and letting the hacker just keep access on your account? Roll Eyes
472  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Yelp has a new "accepts bitcoin" filter button! on: October 03, 2015, 01:40:59 PM
This is a very nice feature indeed. We still lack a great and accurate application that would let us find all the places that accept Bitcoin around us. I hope that this new yelp feature will work well.

Thanks OP for sharing!

It might be a great feature but there aren't many stores/restaurants that accept bitcoins as of right now. Hopefully this feature will encourage them to accept bitcoins and grow the popularity. Smiley
473  Economy / Lending / Re: Need a 0.6 BTC Loan on: October 03, 2015, 03:11:00 AM
I need 0.6 BTC to help stop hungry of my son jackson. jackson stomach very skinny u can see kidneys and heart. we try begging corner but greedy cunt rich men walk by and refuse to help hungry of my son. 0.6 btc feed black hungry man for 1 month. make him feel good, i feel bad i cannot support him with my shitty job i only support me and wife.

thanks you very much many thanks have good night

Denied. Reason: Loan request isn't funny enough.

But seriously, Ethan, even if the OP didn't have the -127 feedback, would you really provide this loan? I understand that if this scenario was real, I wouldn't be talking like this but it's obviously not. Plus, with the OP's "shitty job", there's no way he could repay the loan even if he tried.

Also, scam is pretty obvious.
474  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Exchange on: October 03, 2015, 02:37:08 AM
Well, depends. If the euros are in a payment gateway that features reversible payments *cough* PayPal *cough* then you should go ahead and head over to either LocalBitcoins or Virwox. However, if you have anything that has nonreversible payments, the forum is your best chance.

GLWS!
475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 2100 of year on: October 03, 2015, 02:32:34 AM
Surely in 2100 bitcoin will be gone but as for now bitcoin will be
Rising to the top and slowly going down but before that bitcoin will leave
a legacy as a free currency.

I don't see how it will "surely" be gone in 100 years. We have never seen something like this before so its very hard to speculate with, but if older currencies have lasted for centuries, a digital currency that can get improved and updated over time will surely last more than 100 years.

I could very well imagine and even expect that 100 years from now, something far superior in the form of digital currency could very well take the place of Bitcoin. Bitcoin played a vital role in the creation of a new function, but if digital currency is something that is still in use in 2100 (and I can't imagine it won't be) it's very possible that a more proper currency is in use. Bitcoin created the niche, but it certainly isn't perfect.

It all depends on whether developers will choose to continue to make bitcoin better and improve it, or decide to start from scratch and make something potentially better than bitcoin.

Great job.

Quote from: Malwarebytes
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware
has blocked a potentially malicious website.

But really, maybe you should get to the bottom of what's causing Malwarebytes (and potentially other anti-virus/malware programs) to block your website due to a suspected virus/malware within it.
477  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bobc1994 Scamming and not supportive on: October 03, 2015, 02:18:00 AM
I'm going to have to bump in here and say that a locked escrow thread is extremely, extremely suspicious. An escrow should not have any dark sides/anything he has to hide from future clients. Like monbux, no offense, but you've had a bit of a dark history here; selling XVzN's generator DB is a very prominent one. You have a lot of room to improve in.

wait, what ? No, I simply quoted monbux (without any changes either?) from here.

Sorry to confuse you, this is about Bob, not monbux, bob is the one who sold off the databases.

I know. monbux's reply in that thread stated that monbux wasn't trying to be offensive to bob, so I was saying that I too was not being offensive to bob. I'll edit my post to make it more clearer.
478  Economy / Auctions / Re: Member with Full Member Potential on: October 03, 2015, 02:16:32 AM
I'll go ahead and bid 0.03BTC then, if I'm understanding you correctly.
479  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk takes too long to load. on: October 03, 2015, 02:14:53 AM
Perhaps I get the 502 Error (or something of the sort) once in a while, but it's very rare in occurrence in my forum browsing experience. I get the error maybe once every few days. As for slowness, BitcoinTalk has been loading fine for my end.

EDIT: Removed "Like monbux" to make the meaning more clearer as stated below.
