461  Economy / Gambling / Re: "Exploring RITZ Sports Bet: The Future of Decentralized and Centralized Betting on: January 15, 2024, 06:46:34 PM
After checking the Ritz menu and their road map I can't say I see anything interesting here: https://www.sportsbetritz.com/menu

I haven't seen anything about the hybrid site, centralized and decentralized betting, and how they plan to make it happen, the focus is on the Ritz token and the plans for the token. I am not sure that this thread belongs here in the Gambling section, it's just a gambling project in the beginning stage.

I guess OP can give us more info about their plans and ideas... what is "a hybrid sports betting house model? How do they plan to combine trust and transparency with ease of use? It's not the question of what "unique opportunities and challenges" we foresee, the question what unique can Ritz offer to attract us players and to make us change our favorite sports books?
462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You'll be a discipline gambler in sports if you have a real bankroll. on: January 14, 2024, 09:27:56 PM
Do you believe that you will be more disciplined in sports betting if you have a dedicated bankroll?
...
So the question is, can you manage with $50 as your total monthly bankroll, or would you rather increase it and risk losing money that is not meant for such purposes?

No, I can't maintain the discipline... I am a degen. If I have a balance in some casino I will try in-house games and maybe that will get me a few dollars, but in one moment I will turn to slots. The thing with slots is that you never know, I can bust my balance or I can make more (been there and done that too many times), but that never lasts.

It's hard to be and stay disciplined gambler, at least for us who like to gamble and for us who like all gambling games. Hard truth! We like to play and for some of us it's hard to stop playing even after we win and make some profit.

Unfortunately, we cannot weigh in on the Casino Guru complaint, as it is still being investigated by our security team. While we have not publicly replied on Casino Guru yet, we are in constant contact with Casino Guru representatives to try to solve this matter.
This silence will cause of your reputation damage on Casino Guru and Bitcointalk forum. Your team need to be more transparent and active to deal with the complaints. One of the complaints had been marked as unresolved on Casino Guru on the previous month. Now your team has less than two hours to reply in the complaint of 'miastej2023'. They will mark it as unresolved if you guys don't reply within this time frame.

They have an answer that has been waiting for approval for 2 days, as well as several answers from a person who made a complaint. Looks like a clean case, a guy played some slots and he got lucky... and it's not even some crazy big amount of money in question, everything they could investigate is very easy, it's just slots after all, and the casino has all the records.

Well, I wanted to try Wild Casino... it's looking good. But I got a little carried away reading this complaint and things related to it. I think I will postpone the registration, I will wait to see how this case will be resolved.

465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where have all the low volatility slots gone??? on: January 14, 2024, 04:01:47 PM
It would be ideal if each slot would say how often each multiplier is hit on average, but speaking from experience, slots that have the highest multipliers don't have that of a steady pace for payouts.
This won't be good for the gambling providers and the casino. Tongue

Imagine someone gamble on x slots, they claimed 1K multipliers is usually happen after 10K bets, there's should be someone who will try to gamble until it reach 10K bets, if he didn't hit the 1K multipliers, he will scream both of the providers and casino scammed him.

Well, 10k bets is a lot... I guess there would be many bonuses along that way, but who knows how profitable those bonuses will be, in my experience, many will be under x10! Sometimes it can be really hard to hit x100... There are no guarantees when it comes to slots, what we can do is try and hope for the best!

Honestly speaking, based on my observation as a slot player for a long, volatility isn't a big deal now to most gamblers. Generally, if we do some interviews with some slot players out there, surely they will say that there's not much difference now between low and high-volatility slots as in the end, they will still experience being wrecked.

Sometimes, some gamblers are lucky at low volatility then unfortunate at high volatility slots, and vice-versa.

You described my experience. I had some pretty big luck with high-volatility slots, and many times I got wrecked playing low-volatility slots. The bottom line, if we are unlucky we will lose no matter what slot we choose!

In the end, I can only say that high volatility slots are much more interesting, with many more features and bonuses we can get. That comes with the price, as I always write, slots can give a lot, but they can take even more... keep that in mind.
466  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: January 14, 2024, 09:19:26 AM
I love the bonus wheel, but getting a higher rewards is based from high wager amounts.  While locked BCD is a common reward, hundreds to thousands of players score big daily, regardless of their wager.
I'm not an active user of bc.game but I saw a lot of posts of them withdrawing real money from the wheel spin bonus, for me it looks good and tempting I once tried but the turnover amount was quite high and I failed, I'm jealous to see people can complete their turnover to claim bonus, I myself have to play with my real money

Before you got one spin a day for free but right now you need to wager before you can spin it. Most of the times, you will win (locked) BCD but the requirements to unlock these are extremely high (x400). Personally, that requirement is extremely high and almost unreachable and is one of the points that can be optimized.

x400 is extremely high, but that's the thing with givingaway so many BCD's to a lot of people.

Deposit bonuses, lucky wheel, VIP's are getting locked BCD's all the time from their personal managers. So it's understandable why wagering requirments are so high.

@Hilaluya well man, getting a higher rewards always depend on wagering! Increasing your wager increase your odds of getting higher prizes. Smiley

Here is a list of payment methods that are NOT accepted by most gateways:

Its about Elon hating Bitcoin.
Crypto has competition and that is good.

Why does Elon hate Bitcoin? It's a new moment for me... Today I saw some news about Twitter becoming a payment app as well, and that Elon will consider Bitcoin as well.

I don't cheer up for Elon or Twitter here, I don't have any interest in that, but what he is doing is a bit crazy and until now nobody could predict his next moves. I guess we need to give him credit for being "unpredictable", and in a "money-making game" that is a good thing. He is making more money and he keeps his spot as one of the richest persons in the world. So his moves count, one way or another.

469  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's your thoughts on VIP Programs in casinos? on: January 11, 2024, 08:00:54 PM
It isn't easy to reach a VIP lvl that means something, I think we are talking about millions in wagering here. So I don't think about VIP programs that much, but I like it when there is a loyalty program where we get at least something with leveling up. It's nice when we can unlock some benefits as we wager, it's never something special, but it's a nice addition.

Casinos need to have different features, it's what attracts us players to register and stay there. I guess we would all love to see higher returns for us players, but the truth is that it all comes down to wagering, those who wager more will have more benefits.
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does signing up with affiliate links gives these benefits? on: January 11, 2024, 06:21:05 PM
Many youtubers and friends share their referral codes/affiliate links, saying you will get bonuses, real money, or free spins. but I wonder if casinos give extra help or benefits in some different situations.

For example, when someone wins a big multiplier and multiplies their account by 100x, then some casinos take a long time to process the withdrawal, or they may not even give the money. however, some say that if you sign up using a good affiliate or influencer affiliate code which have huge audience, then you won't face these type issues. also, if you promote the casino using your referral link, they might not hold back your withdrawal because you helped them get new customers.

is this kind of things is considered shady practice, or is it considered fair in the online gambling world?

Shady or not, it's how the world works. With connections, it's easier to get some things done, and in this case, it's different when someone has direct contact with owners or someone on the top of the chain. If we are alone we can just struggle with support, and many of us here know how crazy stupid support agents exist around.

But this is a case when you sign up under "good & honest" affiliate. Simply said, some affiliates are there for their players and they will never advertise some "bad casino", but there are not-so-ethical affiliates as well.

I said a few times if the casino is not Gosu-approved I will not register and play.

471  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: January 10, 2024, 09:18:44 PM
I might spend $50 on a single bet, sports or poker, the thing is that plinko, crash and slot a bet is useless, not even hundreds, the scale is in thousands, so they simply have an infinite bank, or they make an increase progressive bet. Or they are degenerates who hit casinos from time to time.  Smiley

Famosos is on the fire! Smiley A single bet on some games is useless, the scale is in hundreds & thousands when it comes to scoring something huge when we play games of luck. If some of these wins are the product of increasing progressive bets I think this winner deserves a medal, only they know how long they have been pushing before they got to this point, and did they make some profit in the end? But if they are degenerates who hit casinos from time to time, I guess they are not aware of how lucky they were!
472  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you want to see in casino reviews? on: January 10, 2024, 07:58:52 PM
...
For the case of the newly launched casinos, we shouldn't forget that we need to first make research about them before accepting on anything they are offering us, same way you cannot expect someone who is a member of this forum to see a gambling casinos newly introduced to platform and many other gamblers were giving a try testing their gambling service, also joining in their reviews and making discussions with on their announcement thread and you will not go by whatever thing others have testify to have witnessed in using the gambling platforms, which means, the review here you could get are more reliable than the ones other platforms could give.

But I can't try some new casino with a few thousand dollars just for the sake of trying them, can you? And when you try some new casino with some big money (or small) will you pay attention to everything they offer or just on things you are interested in?

We can't compare our amateur approach with some professional approach. You say that we need to research before we accept anything... so why you don't respect someone who dared to do that research before you? Someone with more experience and more money than you/me have?
473  Economy / Economics / Re: Corruption in Nigeria as a Problem of Economic Growth and Development on: January 10, 2024, 05:45:42 PM
I think that the corruption problems that you mentioned are also problems in all countries. There are some that have not been mentioned, but even if we say that there are non-corrupt politicians, if there are more corrupt officials, it will be difficult for them to eliminate them.

It's hard to find an honest politician... in my opinion, 99% of politicians are corrupt. And yes, corruption is a huge global problem, in some countries it's more visible, in some less, but corruption is everywhere.

Then, the poverty that citizens in every country go through is also a cause of sex trafficking because of the difficulty of earning money. This is rampant worldwide, not only in ASEAN countries but also in the US and others.

Poverty is not an accident like slavery and apartheid. It is man-made and can be removed by the actions of human beings. Nelson Mandela

Without poverty then how the rulers would rule and keep the power in their hands? Who would listen to old farts?

474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think gambling every day is better? on: January 10, 2024, 03:14:13 PM
My question is do you think gambling every day is better? From his reasoning and points of narrations.
Gambling everyday is like an addiction because is only a gambling addict that believes that everyday is a new opportunity of wining, although in as much as gambling is a very risky and has a higher chance of losing there are also people who makes wining on a daily basis, so perhaps I wouldn't blame such gambler if they gambles everyday because they have a good wining records but however the only people I kick against in times of gambling everyday are people who always keep losing on a daily basis and still have the believe that everyday has a new opportunity.

It's not about whether is it addiction or not, we are all addicts, in one way or another. It's about does it hurts someone or not... people can play with some small amounts and have fun & entertainment. We are allowed to have hobbies, and having a hobby cost some money.

Gambling every day doesn't affect our chances to win, but I guess some people enjoy watching & betting on sports daily, and some poker players find some tournament or cash table every day. I guess that everything depends on free time & bankroll, with more time and nice bankroll some people can allow themselves to have fun this way, but some of us don't have such privileges.
475  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto: a place where everyone makes money, but few secure it on: January 09, 2024, 10:32:46 PM
I was reading coinconfessions, and it occurred to to me that most of those who are in crypto go through a phase where they make lots of money, but eventually lose it all or most of it due to wrong decisions taken due to having lack of financial knowledge...

Easy come, easy go! When we make money in some easy way, we usually spend it quickly and for fun... But there is one more situation when we make some nice money and want to make more, but we lose everything we have instead of making more. Both cases are gambling/trading related I think, and most of us old-timers were in both situations numerous times (some more some less), but it's life. We can say it's the lack of financial knowledge or life experience in general, we can say that we just "had the feeling", but whatever that was it's how we learn and we shouldn't regret it, life goes on and we need to move on.
476  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: January 09, 2024, 08:42:07 PM
I think it's just part of the marketing of bc.games so it's not surprising that the gambling site's social media displays the big wins of its users, for me from my point of view maybe it's just part of the marketing done by insiders, after all I don't think there are crazy people or the rich people out there who bet on bets of $380 per ball, logically maybe that doesn't make sense but let's just say it's true, I think every gambling site does that all the time which is normal.
[...]
I would almost dare to bet that the figures are real. I have people in my circle of friends who got into BTC very early on and therefore now have a lot of money. For them, betting $400 is about the same as is betting $1-2 for ordinary players on Plinko. Money simply plays little or no role here, the only thing that counts is the thrill.

However, it is undisputed that this is a great advertising opportunity for BC.Game on the various social media channels. Winnings with such amounts are simply very impressive and you immediately get the impression that you must be able to do it yourself ...

It's pretty crazy on Stake as well:

Kick Streamer LosPollosTV Strikes Gold with $3 Million Plinko Win on Stake.com: https://www.btcgosu.com/blog/news/kick-streamer-lospollostv-strikes-gold-with-3-million-plinko-win-on-stake-com/

Or you can check it here: https://twitter.com/LosPollosTV/status/1727149369957519770

I guess we all know by now that some streamers are playing for the house, so I am not sure how fair this is, but this guy is hitting x1000 with crazy bets more than once. It's part of the marketing for sure, I am not sure if is it fully sponsored marketing or if these guys are lucky with their own money. I hit x1000 only a few times with some lower bets, when I played with a $1-2 per ball on high risk I had to quit after losing too much of the balance.

477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mental rehabilitation clinic. on: January 09, 2024, 09:25:31 AM
That's right, this is a non-standard clinic. This is a special thought experiment. You say that classes at this clinic or school may give patients false hope. I would say it differently. You need to be objective and tell the truth. But the truth is that hope may not be false. Yes, it is difficult to get into the top 1% of profitable players, but in principle IT IS POSSIBLE. And until we have proven to the patient that, given his situation, it is impossible to become one of the profitable players in the game, he will continue to cling to it. But for the 1% of patients, the right treatment can and should be proof that they can become a profitable player.
Maybe the patient came to us by chance? And is this the future Bob Voulgaris or another gambling genius? Why should we tell him lies?

It looks like he discovered himself, and he had nice starting help. I believe we can agree that the beginnings are the hardest.

Anything is possible, that's why we are gambling in the first place... but we need to know our possibilities & chances. I guess in principle it's possible to help some people discover their inner talents for some gambling games, but to me, it looks like a school of gambling. And my opinion about such schools would be the same as about paid poker courses and sports tipsters, most of them will just try to take money and will not help in anything. I guess the ones who can make a difference are pretty expensive and it's not easy to find them.
478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What casino has the best bonuses? on: January 09, 2024, 06:44:08 AM
...
If you wager the exact same amount at stake and bc.game and maybe other casinos?
Which one offers the best bonus?

What amount we are talking about? Are we talking about millions and becoming a VIP in some casino, or we are talking about wagering much lower amounts? If we talk about lower amounts you can try to wager exactly 1000 dollars in a few casinos and that would be awesome to share results with all of us.

I have been playing mostly at Coins.Game for the past couple of months, and there are always some nice drops even though I am only lvl 6. And I think that Betfury is good as well, I don't wager much there, but I like what I get in return and their other offers.

480  Economy / Gambling / Re: Responsible gambling on: January 08, 2024, 02:50:14 PM
We need to set a clear expectation that when it comes to gambling one person's gain is another person's loss and vice versa

This is more about trading than gambling, you can't make a profit if someone else doesn't lose. When it comes to gambling, this can only be applied only on poker and maybe on a few other PvP games (bet there aren't many of them), all other games are players vs house. So we can see a few players winning while the house is suffering, but how often that happens?

Clear expectations about gambling & trading are to expect the unexpected. We can make some profit, but we need to be aware that we can lose as well, it's why it's important to be responsible. Never risk too much, it can backfire so easily and pretty quickly.
