Why does it feel like once the last 50 BTC block gets mined, there's gonna be a massive 100k dump? I can't shake the feeling off lol It's because every time a majority thinks "this time it's going to the moon because of X" it actually goes down. Like there's some rich dude who likes to troll us all, just for fun (and make profit maybe)

But the downsides are obvious, (no newbies can participate, only forum members can participate)
... and most importantly it doesn't solve the problem, because the site operator can register a new forum account and post an address from there. Hence the before today part, assuming he hasn't already prepared another account, it at least decreases the chances of him getting to bet. I know it doesn't solve the problem but its the best I could come up with on the spot. Can you think of anything else dooglus?

I'm not bipolar, I'm just high lol, and Best I can tell it is much cheaper to heat this home and areas with GPUs than our central heating and air. I wish I had this solution years ago.
I wish GPU mining would continue being profitable. I would love to see someone design a house heated by graphics cards lol

I'll be fine, I actually don't mind if I use up all my bitcoins doing this. It was a fun program to write pooling for block information against my local bitcoind. I don't want to exchange them for $ through an exchange and I really don't have anything I want to buy with bitcoins.
Nice, well thanks! I was winner 7 Is payment not automated? Did you receive the 1 BTC? Yeah I did, although it was many hours afterward. http://blockchain.info/address/1GzMAicev1cXywysaF73iHFjcCpRRZnQTTIt isn't a very expensive game to run, just send 1BTC or more to the address yourself each block ;-)
Good point, he doesn't appear to be doing that though. But if this game were to continue he would need to offer some kind of reassurance that this wasn't happening. I'd love to see a solution as it would make a whole new class of games viable. I don't think it is possible; if there are any wagers sent by people who are unknown to you it could be the operator. I have a possible solution. Anyone playing has to be registered here on the forum before today/XX-XX-XXXX/some other requirement. Before a new gambling address is live, you have the 12 hours to post an address(s) here that you will be using. Any coins sent to the gambling address will only be valid if sent from an address posted here prior. But the downsides are obvious, (no newbies can participate, only forum members can participate)

Haven't you seen their reply? (and ours?):
Yeah. I suppose it can't hurt to keep badgering them though.
Exactly. You don't have to donate, just ask them to accept it. If they accept it, it also may help move along the removal of sudoghost lol

thanks fcmatt, keep selling us your coins. are you done mining onces having / asics hits?
I am going to keep mining with the gpus until diff rises much higher. The block reward halving, from the perspective of a miner, is as if the difficulty were to double. No? Sure, but if you heat with electricity anyway mining has no ongoing cost. Heating a home with graphics cards costs the same as a furnace (in electricity)?

I am going to keep mining with the gpus until diff rises much higher. I do not have an order placed for any asic product because I am not a trusting person. It is one thing to order stuff from newegg. It is another to order from some bitcoin d00d who says he can make an asic but has nothing to show. I will decide on what to do once I see actual asic product in the wild that I can actually know for sure the performance, power usage, cost, delivery time, etc... to make an informed decision. Anything else is stupid! Gee. Let me give BFL a 6+ month interest free loan and have them tell me bull shit stories why I do not have anything yet. Brilliant! My little 7970 is still kicking too until asics come

This could be a great publicity stunt, if anyone has pigeons as a hobby, what about delivering bitcoins with a pigeon ? I see several ways this could be done, how would you suggest it be done, and would this be a news event or a good publicity stunt? What about combining it with the halving celebration ? I'll give you a +1 for the randomness lol
