Try it, you will love it..

O my God, your recipe sounds great Cheesy I must try write it down Cheesy

I prepare pancakes something like swedish cook from the Muppet show Cheesy

You can assume, not professional at all LoL Cheesy

It sound something like this:

Flour PUFFF!
Eggs CRUNCH!
Sugar FLUFF!
Salt FLUFF! (again)
Milk GLOK-GLOK-GLOK!
Tumble it as good as possible Cheesy

When baked, I just fill it with some marmalade and hazelnut.

I'm a little bit embarrassed when I hear how good your recipe sounds Cheesy Next time I will try to prepare it in the proper way, I promise Cheesy

Thanks

Maybe we can exchange recipes..

3/4 cup milk
2 tablespoons white vinegar
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons white sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 egg
2 tablespoons butter, melted
cooking spray

1.   Combine milk with vinegar in a medium bowl and set aside for 5 minutes to "sour".
2.   Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Whisk egg and butter into "soured" milk. Pour the flour mixture into the wet ingredients and whisk until lumps are gone.
3.   Heat a large skillet over medium heat, and coat with cooking spray. Pour 1/4 cupfuls of batter onto the skillet, and cook until bubbles appear on the surface. Flip with a spatula, and cook until browned on the other side.

You will be surprised. There are so many places with expensive products. For example, we can buy 30% cheaper laptops from bestbuy.com but they will not ship international. If you could buy and ship them, you would make a killing.

Hello yrtnc,

I was thinking about that, but it's limited what could be sent worldwide and also too expensive for the end-user, so I decided to work within US only. Many people are asking me could I ship worldwide, but when we put everything to the paper Amazon international shipping is much expensive than to go to the nearest local store and buy desired item. Of course it's in my interest to sell, but it's not OK to empty someone's wallet when he can buy it much cheaper, so my advice for international buyers is visit your local store, it's cheaper :-)

Sorry for a slow reply, I was preparing some pancakes Cheesy

Thank you for your advice!

It would be in my best interest to ship internationally, but as I said before it's very limited what could be shipped via Amazon International Program and list of countries supported is also very limited. I tried before, but when customers hear the final price they usually give up. For example, international shipping cost is very bloated + for some countries there is a customs duty + import taxes + ... D'OH!  Undecided

It is a good wish and one who could do it will make a killing, but it's very complicated and almost impossible.

I can share some pancakes with you instead Cheesy

I concur Wink

I do find it painfully ironic that every thing about Bitcoin is based on trust, yet no one seems to trust ANYTHING.

There are many elements on this forum who could very well be the undoing of bitcoin.

I think the undoing of bitcoin will be done by career criminals and scam artists like pirate and Sunny V (of BFL) who is a convicted criminal scam artist.
Why did you not use bold? If you had increased the size AND bolded your statement, I would have believed you.

Its a joke dude  Grin

Someone must have spent alot of money on these at the time they were good for mining. Grin

I'm sure the cards are older then bitcoin it selfs so mining what exactly ?  Tongue
467  Economy / Goods / Re: Amazon.com goods for BTC on: October 12, 2012, 07:03:01 AM
I think this is great, but an even better idea would be to ship goods in the USA worldwide for BTC. Now that would really catch on as there are alot of vendors who wont ship outside the USA and people wanting their products.  Wink
468  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Soon comes the ASIC onslaught, what about the aftermath.. on: October 11, 2012, 07:31:15 PM
I remember bfl staff mentioning the pre order number around 5000, but I cant remember where exact.

now u just round up the price per unit. Id say 70% Jalapeno 28% single and 2% rigs.. about that I recon

so 3500 x 149 + 1400 x 1299 + 100 x 29899 = 5,330,000.00 usd cha ching... beats mining Wink
469  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: I found a case full of graphic cards, check this out! on: October 11, 2012, 06:01:00 PM
I alone have 3 AGP desktops lying around.. Antiques  Grin

How did you find them?
That's what I wanna know.
Dumpster diving out back of a pc shop that had a cleanout?

seriously they are old tech, the only use for them will be people with old pcs whose gfx card fails and they wont upgrade to a new system.
If you want to get an idea of the real value, start an auction on ebay at $2 and see where it sells Wink
The value is in what someone will pay for it, not what someone wants to get for it Smiley

and all us nerds who do family/friend tech support know someone like that, who just refuses to commit a few bucks to buying a new system. sigh. i've flat out told my friends and family that if it's more than 3yrs old, i ain't helping them with it. Especially my brother in law, who likes to THINK he's a techie, but is really just an idiot.
470  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Soon comes the ASIC onslaught, what about the aftermath.. on: October 11, 2012, 05:58:42 PM
I think we are talking of millions of usd worth of BFL orders alone. But I still think that as long as bitcoin is in demand the price will have to go up. And since miners are supplying the demand, they will decide pricing.
471  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Soon comes the ASIC onslaught, what about the aftermath.. on: October 11, 2012, 07:34:23 AM
I know what you mean.

People are making roi calculations with current conditions. We must calculate that the reward will half and the difficulty will increase as mining speeds will go sky high. ( there goes moore's law  Wink) BUT dont forget that demand is steadily increasing, as you know, people like money. So expect price increase. This will give better returns for people with asics anybody else stuck with the old equipment will be at a loss, unless their electricity is free. So, I believe people who invest in the smallest Asic device will get a return on their investment. It just may take longer than they expect.

Of course there may be new version asics with higher speeds but nno major breakthroughs for at least another year or so. I think this will be enough time to make your money back and enjoy a little profit if all goes well for BTC.

So what will happen to all the GPU miners? Which currency do you guys plan on moving on to mining?

BTC of course ....big gpu miners will just adjust and buy big ASIC rigs so nothing changes,  some could give away there GPU,s almost for free already ROI them.  Cool Cool..... if you have no money for gpu farm and making BTC today you will be behind when ASIC are availble also...IF you are in it for the money..  Cool

this is how it works money makes money if u are broke now you will keep broke then...i bet on that..it,s just the way it is..

To all broke guys preordered 1 or 2 ASICs devices and talking LOTS of crap i say this: Who thinks to get rich when they get there.. are dump mf sorry to say so..wake tf up.. Shocked Grin and i don,t have to do the math for u because there are enough posts about that ( hash rate, difficulty ect.ect.ect...)

They havent run away with the money yet! ( ITS A JOKE  Grin )

474  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Will BFL reconfigure the FPGA's to mine LTC and then resell them? on: October 10, 2012, 07:24:12 AM
Wasnt BTC cpu mined at first? How did that change to GPU? Can the same be applied to LTC with the FPGA's ?

I kinda breezed over the theory behind LTC but they state it's optimized for a CPU's architecture plus a ton of RAM.  That means for them to make a faster solution, they'd have to outdesign Intel and AMD and use the most modern (patented) memory controller technology.  The best of the best belongs to AMD at a blazing 1866MHz native speed for their new trinity APU, unless you count GDDR5 on graphics cards but I think that works sort of differently.

In other words, CPUs could do bitcoin stuff, GPUs did it way better, and ASICs are exactly what you need to run bitcoin calculations at the fastest possible speed.  With LTC, CPUs are perfect for it so to make something better, you have to design a better CPU than say an i7 Tongue  At least that's what their wiki seems to suggest.
475  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: I found a case full of graphic cards, check this out! on: October 09, 2012, 09:34:48 PM
As shipping would cost you alot, you might just want to sell your card locally.

As for the AGP card, I can do you a good price for 2.5 BTC shipped, what do you think?

Their 40 bucks on eBay, and thats the ceapest Ive found.

I have an old GeForce 8800 GTX card if anyone wants to give me any bitcoin for it. It's a monster, would cost a lot to ship. It's really heavy, like a large brick, with a large fan and heavy-duty cooling.

I've got an old computer that needs a new AGP card (the old one fried) so maybe I could do a straight trade.

I think this GeForce 8800 was barely used. I got it with another card, the guy just threw it in for nothing.
476  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Future Hash Rate Poll 1/2013 on: October 09, 2012, 09:28:01 PM
The line I quoted by BFL_Josh was on the 10-08-2012

And you are right, only bfl, but dont forget its the bulk of it.

Hi

Here I am quoting Josh from BFL

"My napkin calculations indicate a less than 10x increase in difficulty due to BFL hardware sold so far."

I his estimations on sales numbers, or is he giving a low estimation to increase sales numbers, I dont know!

Yeah that statement happened before the increase in the speed was announced, plus there is no time frame and no new information.
Plus only BFL...
477  Other / Off-topic / Re: Butterfly Labs invests heavily in high speed production equipment on: October 09, 2012, 09:15:36 PM
Yes BFL has delivered before and maybe they will deliver this time round also. Still there are alot of sceptical people and alot of bad rumours and fishy going ons. If I did preorder a bfl device I would most probably be somewhat worried in the back of my mind as they have yet to produce any substantial evidence, strictly speaking from my limited knowledge.

Would it not boost their sales if they somehow proved they were going to deliver? Then why take so long to do so?
Pls dont get me wrong, I am not trying to say bfl are scammers and all the rest of it. Im simply trying to sympathize with the people who have invested quite a bit of their savings hoping they will make some money. What do you think? Can bfl do better to reassure their potential customers and also current customers?
478  Other / Off-topic / I just got this email from Intersango??? on: October 09, 2012, 08:25:40 PM
Intersango's USD market will stop trading 2012-10-14 at approximately midnight UTC.

At this time we ask that persons with USD funds either place a withdrawal request or purchase bitcoins.

To facilitate persons wishing to purchase bitcoins Intersango has placed 625 BTC up for sale at 12.1 USD.

Unfortunately the USD market is simply too small to justify it's ongoing operation.
 Huh
479  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Will BFL reconfigure the FPGA's to mine LTC and then resell them? on: October 09, 2012, 08:20:24 PM
They must know what they are doing, since they are taking so many back, and for the same price they sold them??

Their customer service is almost too good to be true. Maybe thats why so many people are sceptical?

I mean what will they do with so many FPGA's?  Huh
