461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Volatility is good but... on: June 27, 2020, 08:35:06 PM
Volatility is part of what defines Bitcoin and some other cryptocurrencies. As the industry matures, the rise of cryptocurrencies that tracks the performance of less volatile traditional assets like real estates and commodities will likely bring a lot of beauty to the cryptocurrency industry. I believe that a mix of more volatile crypto assets and less volatile assets will give traders a lot of options to enjoy while trading.
There can’t be anything as less volatile and more volatile. There are only volatile and stable coins, and you’ve got to choose one. Stable coins can’t be an option if you’re looking forward to making profit. If you’re scared of losing, then invest little money. Some experts will recommend that you invest about 5% to 10%.

It gets more risky when you’re trading too much of your capital, because you will be in a position of losing more money when things go negatively, than when you’re investing and trading a little money. And if you’re not perfectly skilled in crypto trading, Hodl will be a good alternative. Target when it runs down and hold it for a long time; already more than 50% of this community is doing that and makes good profits out of bitcoin's 4 year long cycle.
462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade by yourself on: June 27, 2020, 03:07:10 PM
I am not lucky when try to trade by my self because always get problem buy with higher price and must selling with lower price, what method have check and looking for to get profit with trading bitcoin or altcoin, many channel become my source information but always get bad moment when start trading and need time how to get lucking next time on trading information.
Just spare a thought why would someone share signals and if they do why don't they trade themselves?

For me, I believe all these signal telegram channels and groups are nothing but sort of scam or just a group of overconfident people who want others to risk their money on their verdict. I never follow any signals or channels but I do check a few articles before I invest or trade any coins because gathering more knowledge is always useful and sometimes worth knowing the market trends.

I believe if you have to rely on others to inform you when to sell and when to buy assets then trading is not your thing because you will suffocate in the long term. This is more sort of a gambling when you trust others and make trades based on their information.
463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade isn’t for Me guys. on: June 27, 2020, 02:20:05 PM
Investing is in fact different than trading and requires different skills but that does not mean that it is easier, an investor will need to hold his coins no matter what until it reaches his target price and this can be a very dangerous strategy especially if you want to implement this strategy with new altcoins, we have seen countless examples of people doing this over the years on the forum and getting awful results, as such you will need to know how to do your due diligence and the ability to know which coin is good to hold for the long term and which is not, but you will never know if you were right until it is too late making investing a very difficult way to make money.
I would say that investing is a part of trading and one who is good at investing would eventually be good at trading too.
Let me explain what I mean here. Trading has 2 parts mainly:

- Accumulating/buying an asset at lowest possible value
- Selling or getting rid of the asset at the peak time

Now, one who knows how to invest would actually know what is the best time to buy an asset and hence would easily overcome part 1 of the task and hence make it much easier to execute the second part which is much easier, just selling the asset at better or probably best value.

Overall, when someone is finding trading is not suitable for them than probably investing must be the right option for them to go with to find better ROI. In some perspective, both investing and trading look similar because only the timeframe involved is different between these two types of earning methods. Fortunately I am into both trading and investing as I am trading on long-term basis and investing for years.
464  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Algotrading BTC? on: June 27, 2020, 11:32:12 AM
I have not tried Algo–trading, but isn’t it the same thing as making use of bots? You kind of develop some strategies that will help the computer to place trades quickly based on the directions you have set for it to follow. You should look into cryptocurrency exchanges where bots are being used, it might as well work out. All these things are not really what I have looked into, I just prefer to trade by myself and whenever I feel like trading. And I don’t trade regularly, only when I feel like I should trade or when I am meant to, because the market is in a better position.

5. Where do you get historic data? Is it by the hour? minute? second?
I have not tried finding historical data of bitcoin markets. But, I am just curious what is the use of it? If I want to find the price of bitcoin at the beginning of 2017 then I will refer bitcoin's all time chart but never heard about availability of such data from exchanges.

I just tried on google and find this; probably this is what you look for:

465  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for good trading on: June 27, 2020, 06:58:04 AM
6. Pay attention to the bitcoin - Most altcoins (every cryptocurrency except Bitcoin) are pegged more closely to Bitcoin than Asian currencies were to the USD during the Asian Financial Crisis. If Bitcoin price pump drastically, altcoins price can go down as people try to exit altcoins to ride the BTC profits; inversely, if Bitcoin prices dump drastically, altcoin prices can go down, too, as people exit altcoins to exchange back into fiat. The best times for altcoin growth appear when Bitcoin shows organic growth or decline or remains stagnant in price.
All altcoins are pegged with Bitcoin, but it’s not all of them that correlates with bitcoin markets. There are some altcoins that moves a completely different direction from Bitcoin. One example is this coin that is called the Compound Coin, it has 0% price correlation with Bitcoin, unlike Dogecoin, XRP, BSV and the rest of them are following Bitcoin tightly on every move. So, anyone that’s trading should have that in mind and try to understand the coins they are trading better.

Secondly, greed is something that should be avoided from every trader's book. It’s very important, because when you don’t, you’re probably going to be mislead yourself into making the wrong move due to your want for more.

Trading is really profitable ways of earning money and having skills and knowledge about it would be a great advantage for you.
Without skills and knowledge you cannot earn anything from trading and even you manage to make some profits, skills and knowledge are always the most important factors for consistent profit making from trading. Thanks a lots of this topic and I am sure you might have helped many people here on realizing what is missing in their trading.
466  Economy / Economics / Re: China’s digital yuan could replace bitcoin & end US dollar hegemony on: June 26, 2020, 07:14:48 PM
A digital currency created by the government of a country that likes to monitor and control everything, including their people? Lol, you’re not serious Wink. I’m sorry man, but that crypto Yuan or whatever it’s being called is going nowhere. It’s just going to be in China, and that’s where it will remain, and I am not interested in making use of it. And do you even think that their citizens likes the way the government is controlling them? Most of them might even stay clear from it and prefer to make use of bitcoin alone due to decentralization kind of reasons.

I am not interested in any government's cryptocurrency as it will kill all the purposes of why I am adopting cryptocurrencies. Instead of doing that, I may to a forest to lead a life like tribes as it seems that must be a better life considering what we are experiencing in lands and with economy of nation and individual wise.
467  Economy / Economics / Re: COVID AND INDIAN ECONOMY on: June 26, 2020, 03:31:46 PM
140 million??? Shocked  Wow, that’s a really huge number there. This virus has really turned the world into something else. What worries me the most is how these people are going to be surviving when they all have no jobs to work. How are they going to be getting money to feed themselves. This covid19 is something else; you decide to stay indoors you will have hunger to face and you decide to go outside you will have the virus to face lol.

I think it’s best that the government start applying measures that will help them ease the lockdown, they should look for ways to help keep people safe while they go out to work and rebuild their economy. Other than the ongoing pandemic, the India-China border tension will be playing another level of influences in deciding the growth rate of economy. It seems very hard time in all means but I read India was not got hit by 2008 recession due to its strong and wide production of agriculture related products but this time may be the stories will be different.
468  Economy / Economics / Re: Very strange most people like to buy with bitcoin , but using altcoins very few on: June 26, 2020, 02:50:41 PM
Very strange thing i noticed: most people like to buy with bitcoin , but using altcoins very few

I think all clients i had from bitcointalk prefer to use bitcoin to buy services / products they needed ...
There is nothing strange because a lot of people are choosing to buy and sell with Bitcoin and abandon altcoins. Bitcoin brought that idea of peer-to-peer payment, and people have been making use of it before altcoins started coming up and with the same idea but claiming to have done it better. I don’t think anyone is interested in that.

Moreover, it is just like you have said, if you still decide to be making use of altcoins like Ethereum for making payments, you wouldn’t find anyone that will accept them as payment and you will still end up going back to using Bitcoin. So that’s how it is for others, they can’t find who is accepting altcoins, so they stick with Bitcoin because that’s what everyone uses.

It is obvious that BTC is calculated by those who do not have altcoins at their disposal. And this is due to the fact that altcoins have lost much more of their price than bitcoin.
Yes, bitcoin is trading around 50% down of its ATH whereas most altcoins are trading down by 90% of their respective ATH. I am also preferring to spend the coins which is not in losses by considering its bought or earned (from campaigns/bounties) prices. So, I guess most people are spending bitcoins by holding altcoins which are still valuing lower than bought prices.
469  Economy / Economics / Re: What if this pandemic persists till the end of the year? on: June 26, 2020, 08:13:08 AM
It's almost 6 months since the coronavirus took its toll on every aspect of human lives. it has been accompanied by widescale job loss, a rise in the unemployment rate, a reduced standard of living, and intense hardship. From the economic perspective, what will be the fate of the global economic situation and normal day to day business if this pandemic doesn't go away by the end of this year?
The job loss, increase in unemployment, and other problems you have mentioned here were as a result of shutting down the economy. The government has done that and they now see that it’s not going to work since it’s having a negative effect on their country’s economy, so they have to look for other means to fight the virus and also let people return for their daily routines. Already this has affected so many countries and so many people are now jobless with no means to take care of their families.

The worst part of it is that there is now a protest going on in some countries and people are at the risk of getting infected and increasing the number of cases around the world. I hope the vaccines arrive quick to save all the humankind from economic collapse at least (yes I am aware of vaccine is to save us from virus infection but I say about saving people first and then people will save economy of global afterwards Cool).
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Am I wrong or right share your opinion please on: June 26, 2020, 04:29:23 AM
Hi Naamandror, I have seen you at stake a couple of times if you are that guy. I have seen you in sports chat often talking around so I believe if the problem was related to stake you can easily discuss with the support and sort it.

Now coming back to your problem, basically you are complaining that you are now allowed to cashout which actually is a problem often we gamblers face and actually once I had such a case where I made a bet on bet365 and they did not allowed to cashout as markets expired for a event and even though the game didn't start. I reached them and they told me that cashout is a limited feature and cannot be guaranteed at all times so I believe while its unfortunate what happened with you, but I would say the bookie has the rights to make the call.

Also, that judgment is based on what I could understand so far maybe if you could tell more clearly what exactly happened my view would change.
471  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - $500 Daily Race! 30% Rakeback! 🎲 DICE with the best autobet mode🥇 on: June 25, 2020, 08:31:38 PM
Basically the main idea of richgang is a good suggestion for Wolfbet to give additional reward for players who wager a lot on the site.
Perhaps the way he is suggesting is not really good so it sounds a bit bad for other members.
I have to agree if he can prove all his claims then it will be good as usually in case of affiliate program, most sites usually has special offer to those who can get great active referrals such is bigger commission etc.
But blaming the site because his referrals are leaving wolfbet because there is no additional rewards for wagering is not making any senses for me.
Most players knows since the start what is/are offered by the site, he cant complain because of the non-existence additional rewards like what he is referring to.
I am not trying to say that the idea is bad, the idea could be great. Every website should look to make it a lot better for people who wager over a million dollars, but it is a rare thing and not something on focus. Plus what I was trying to say is that what the website is offering is out there, it is not a secret and when you are playing you know what you are getting back when you play as much as you want, you can play a hundred million dollars, it is there and you still know what you are getting.

All I was trying to say is that website doesn't "have to" give anything extra to those people just because they gambled and they are only required to give what they promised they would give. Sure, it is always better to give something extra so they come back but that is just marketing and not a requirement on their behalf.
472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin.com forum closes ?? on: June 25, 2020, 07:48:42 PM
A very abrupt announcement , bitcoin.com forum apparently closes on July 23 !! The news was provided by the admin on 24 June. Till the date there is no specific reason so as why the forum is closing..

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoincom-forum-closes-on-july-23
Lol if they decide to shut it down, that’s their business. I have not even used that forum for once in my life, I have only been making use of the bitcointalk.org forum ever since I got into this. So, I am not worried about the forum that is owned by Roger Ver. Any other thing that is not Bitcoin but has this name attached to it, to me that’s just a scam. The real one is simply Bitcoin and nothing else. And FYI, this news will not affect the cryptocurrency community or market in any way, it’s still going to keep growing.

Considering how popular the forum is plus it was actually started by an early adopter of Bitcoins I do think this is not a beneficial step for the community.
Honestly, this is surprising me; how you claim it is popular? Could you link me any useful topic there? Like anything on trading tips or how to choose a perfect wallet for bitcoin or any altcoin was announced and became successful or coinmarketcap has any references to that forum for announcement of any coin/token/exchange?

Definitely it is not beneficial nor loss to this community. We have 100s of crypto forums and this must be one of them.
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: COVID-19 a reason for Bitcoin adoption? on: June 25, 2020, 06:33:10 PM
We can hear and see it on the television and read online about the adoption of Bitcoin as another option for contactless payment. Indeed, many countries and companies are supporting this for this a way to survive the new normal.

I would like to hear your thoughts about this.
I even saw it last week in a commercial that was released by an automotive company, can’t remember their name again, but they mentioned Bitcoin in their commercial Roll Eyes I saw it on Twitter. But if you ask me, it’s possible that it’s not just about the Covid-19, there are other things as well. Even the halving might have contributed to it.

Bitcoin has been halved twice, and in those two times the price did go up and there were rumors that it’s going to die off after the first one that the price went up, but that never happened. And after the second one the criticism got high and people it’s coming to and end after the bull run in 2017 with the price going down in 2018. But despite all that, it still continued, and that created a lot of hype for this last Halving.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is ethereum investment for future ?? on: June 25, 2020, 05:47:21 PM
I am big time follower of ethereum from initial days i was holding ethereum even the price less than 100$ and also i was holding ethereum at the price of 1500$ . But based on recent development i am highly speculative ethereum price after 2.0  release . Once POS introduced the problem of scalability will be solved  Maximum supply will be fixed . So i am slowly investing on ethereum from my savings part by part reasons are below
1) Inflation in global curreny or fiat curreny ( ehtereum and bitcoin is best alternative invetment solution )
2) Ethereum is the best Smart contract creation platform holding major DAPP's in market
3) Real world use case
There is a less usage (or should I say acceptance?) for Ethereum. So it doesn’t really have real world use case. Bitcoin has more adoption and usage than it does. I have not been able to spend Ethereum directly or find someone that accepts it as payment, it’s usually BTC. Ethereum is just better than other cryptocurrencies.

I have seen competitions, but it always beats coins that are out there to compete with it. I don’t invest much in it, I usually buy more of bitcoins than any other coin in the market. It’s usually the right choice for me and I am making profit from it.

Because unlike 2017 and 2018, ethereum is having more tough competition right now. There are plenty of choices for investors to go away from ethereum compared they they did some 2 or 3 years back. So, ethereum may not be a tight investment for long term but in short term we may get somewhat better returns compared to most other altcoins.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new project team can afford top exchanges on: June 25, 2020, 03:50:45 PM
I'm glad we have IEO for new projects to raise funds successful after ICO did lots of damages to investors trust but that's not all, I want something that can help new upcoming projects to raise funds easily, for IEO if you don't have enough money for top exchanges there is 70% chances that you will come out with a bad result...

What do you think could solve this? New Fund raising?
Well, you can’t have both at a time. You will have to be choosing one out of the two, either you choose ICO or IEO. Big exchanges knows what it costs them to reach that level they are now and they won’t doing anything for you for a penny, they will be charging huge for it. The good thing is that you will always see the difference between making use of the bigger exchanges and the smaller exchanges, there will always be a difference there.

Although I don’t think ICOs are dead, despite all these things that have happened, you will still see lots of ICOs, and there are still good ones. By saying this, I do not mean you can go for ICO for profitable experience. It is still up to you and purely depending on your due diligence. All the projects who could not convince big exchanges, may still prefer this platform for crowdfunding; if they're having good reasons then we can support them; I guess no big mistake in that.
476  Economy / Economics / Re: Current Food Shortage and Economic Decline Caused by Pandemic on: June 23, 2020, 10:04:06 PM
The cases are getting serious in developing countries, and they can't handle it, and shutting down the economy for people to stay indoors is not an option. Imagine when a developing country is on lockdown, it's going to be really difficult for people to feed. And their governments are not ready to render any kind of support; they are only interested in what they are gaining from politics.

Only the rich will be able to survive a situation like that, where there are no jobs and no means for income. Even at these difficult times, some of the rich guys are still cashing in some big money.
477  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC next Movement......... on: June 23, 2020, 09:10:28 PM
Hopefully by late 2020 we will see another drastic increase. Last time this happened the increase was around December remember? Because most of the time people spend a lot of money during summer and this summer it will probably be even more because nobody went outside for a long time and even though the virus is still out there it was already very difficult to keep people inside for 3 months (both economically and emotionally) and that means everyone will be able to go outside after 3 months and I am sure they will spend a significant amount of money.

It means they will not be able to save and put money aside and buy bitcoin. However, when it is November/December they will be back and they will start saving up and buying again which will definitely increase the price.
478  Economy / Speculation / Re: We will likely see a sharp increase then decrease in price on: June 23, 2020, 08:30:08 PM
Well, we have tried to go above $10k too many times and we have managed to go back down under $10k too many times again, this has happened millions of times so I can't really say I would be shocked if the price doesn't fall under $10k again the next time we move beyond it.

However I think this time it is getting a bit harder to go beyond $10k because the attention is not going towards higher levels but to prevent going lower, and when there is so much buy orders between now and lower you know that people do not want to get low once again. This means if we go beyond $12k and $15k levels that means it will be a lot harder to drop down and that is awesome. However do not forget the power of people who are shorting as well, they have the cash to drop the price very quickly as well.

After seeing the last message from richgang (lol even the name sounds fake) I can say that I no longer thing there is anyone wagering that much. First of all if you wager that much it is usually not on crypto and on regular gambling websites. But lets imagine for a second that you do gamble that much and it is on wolf.bet, you do not allow someone else to make that much affiliate income, you either request something from that on extra so that you would make more back, or you do not do it at all and just earn yourself one.

All the heated arguments about it means nothing at all, if you had even a single evidence of a single million dollar wagerer you would have shared it with all the info redacted, you do not have to show any info at all, just one account with affiliate wagering one million, the rest could have been blacked out.
480  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Poker Today! 1BTC prizepool! Free Watford EPL shirt for entry on: June 23, 2020, 06:22:00 PM
I hoped aswell that Liverpool will score a goal in the last minutes of the game and when I saw that they have a free kick in the last chance of the game I thought ok this is it, they will score but that ball went a little above the goalie. As someone said above , they need 5 more points to secure this championship and I think the next 2 games will provide 6 points for them.
Liverpool does have a style that plays a gegenpress as we all know it, if the other team never really goes out too much and defends mostly, how could you as a team get the ball back and attack suddenly? They are expecting your defense, there is 4 defenders and 2 DM's right there defending the ball at all positions and even the wingers come back. So at the end of the day, liverpools style is not working towards "park the bus" teams more often than not, however most of the time they are more talented and they play a lot better than the other team so even if the strategies are contradicting each other and there is a trouble there, its still possible to win for them with the talent they have. It just wasn't one of those games this time around but I am sure it will be on the next time.
