Waves wont be 3x ICO price on launch  it is overbought already by people who want to dump on launch, just like you. Waves is only longterm now, because of ICO hysteria, amount of funds is speculative not based on fundamentals and honest interest in project. Also no time window between ICO and exchange = DAO scenario. No time to create new demand for coin. earlier today sasha confirmed that Waves will not launch until at least one week after the ICO closes. that was news to me when i read it. i had thought it was close and then trade immediately (like DAO), but no. |

Guys I'd like to clarify some things regarding our post-ICO timeline, I can see that there's some confusion.
Our goal is to proceed fast but minimize all risks with high load, network instability etc
hence the plan:
June, 1 - our ICO ends
June, 2 - June, 9
- Addresses can be generated in the litewallet on mainnet and added to user profiles at ICO sites
- Withdrawals can be requested, and they are being processed.
- Bounties for SM following, signatures etc. are credited
After we're finished with this, we proceed to listing at exchanges. So we'll move fast, but efficiently.

People calm down, don't get too excited with the launch, we have our price speculation and we all want to earn after the ICO but please put some realistic prediction, me I would say its going to be $2 max is $5. That is realistic cause waves is special.

5 dollars is realistic, 10 is optimist we have good waves front of us waves 'name could boost some speculators OK lets talk sense around here, at launch $1 is realistic as a "floor price" maybe going up to $3. Thats my predictions. Why should the price go to $1 at launch? If waves becomes tradeble right after launch, isn't anyone in who wants to be in by than? Can you explain that to me? I would love to believe you but I just can't see it. I'm guessing that we will see a much smoother increase in value over a much longer term.  deja vu? this is just like the pre DAO launch discussion. people prattling on about DAO going to 10X and all that hype. when an ICO closes and then IMMEDIATELY launches there is no hiatus period for additional buy pressure to build up. all the trading troll boxes know about Waves. there will be no market 'discovery' of Waves on day one of trading. the difference between DAO and Waves is the size of the ICO investment bubble. The DAO's was so massive that there was no room to grow, and pegged to ETH. Waves has room, but btc is zooming up. |

DAO is trading well under ICO now... this thing could get ugly fast. They need to get out of DAO and into Lisk before it collapses. $100 million invested. Could end up the biggest failure in cryptocurrencies history.
what was the ICO price in DAO? between 100-150 dao for one eth. most people bought at the 100 level i think. I think the cheapest ICO price was 100 DAO for 1 ETH, when ETH was around 7-8 USD, so that makes it around 15400 satoshi for 1 DAO. The highest price must have been 100 DAO for 1.5 ETH, when ETH was 14.5 USD, which makes it around 47800 satoshi for 1 DAO. He's right. For some people it's less than the ICO price right now...  Is this a DAO thread or a LSK thread A lisk thread which is not stupid enough to think lisk and DAO do not affect each other! Every coin affect each other, if i sell LSK then i buy another coin, if i buy LSK then i sell another coin People sold ETH to buy LSK. it was not irrational to invest in The DAO. it's an interesting idea. it was very irrational to invest above ETH's market price. it was completely irrational to expect The DAO to pump.
next Waves, and then Lisk will be over the immediate market turbulence and can get down to making real progress.
i have every confidence in the Lisk business model and strategy. my only concern is the CEO. if he gets it wrong he will need to step aside and be replaced, and concede some of his Lisk holding to a more experienced entrepreneur.
that will never happen, he will dump his shares.... and then his reputation will be ruined. people remember. |

i didn't buy DAO because it's too complicated. too many price layers inside it, its relationship to ETH, the whole unknown of future proposals and voting....impossible to assess its trading prospects.

Before every pump we need to accumulate, LISK is better than ETH but need to go sub ICO first. Then moon! Lisk is beter then ETH? U know that the biggest banks from the world are testing Ethereum? Many coins are beter then Bitcoin but yeah, nothing happen with that coins  Bitcoin is accepted, Ethereum is in proof of concept with the biggest banks from the world. What have Lisk atm? I hold some coins, but i dont know why.. This coin got nothing so far. Only words about: maybe this maybe in the future that. Well ofc i hold because i bought before the dumps started. At this moment, this coin cost me a lot of money. If i get scammed, coin will die in a few weeks so we will see i wonder if there's market potential for the consumer behaviour of buying smartphones and installing apps? it's a long shot, but you never know. |

Lisk's price is now rising - 00064. DAO has moved up actually. I was about to dump it few hours ago but seeing its going up again, this should be a good investment for me. You don't know how WAVES work do you, you may use thier platform once you realize their platform offer more than what you knew. don't get me wrong. the DAO is a great investment for people who bought in with ICO ETH. that's what's so odd about the DAO. for some the launch price will be a success, and for others a disaster. n.b. i'm not knocking Waves. i may invest. i want to see what happens over this weekend of trading. |

it may sound contradictory, but a lower price right now is GOOD for Lisk. now App developers can enter the space at a lower cost to begin the process of experimenting and tinkering with their ideas. the last think Lisk needs is a high price wall that discourages the dev community.

LSK is not moving a lot.... are we here at a stable price that will move us step by step lower like LTC in the time, or will it move step by step higher like ETH?
the long term price will track upwards. this will be an organic growth phenomenon, driven by developers of apps to dapps. Lisk has good disruption fundamentals, with a fixed supply side (unlike ETH). |
