461  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: August 24, 2017, 04:56:06 AM
I just always wonder if those billionaires still invest in btc. Do they even know btc exist?
I think yes, if you invest money last year with the small price of bitcoin you will earn ten times now. Billionaires takes risk for big incomes. Taking the risk is the key to success.
462  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Bitcoin or GOLD? on: August 23, 2017, 02:12:51 PM
Just would like to know your opinion guys kung ano ang prefer niyong investment ngayon kung bitcoin po ba or Gold?
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Minereum go as high as Ethereum? on: August 23, 2017, 06:31:18 AM
Noooooooo!
It will not happen.
Most people don't even know what a miner is, or Minereum.
Ethereum on the other hand, it is known around the globe.
Companies rely on ETH for their tokens.
I agree most of us don't know what is minereum is but we don't know if it is just a dump.
Some dump grow fast and became famous. But choose wisely
464  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it better to save money or invest it? on: August 23, 2017, 06:09:26 AM
Is it better to save money in bank or invest it online, in real estate or maybe gold?
I think its better to invests money to legit sites but so risky no one is knows how legit they are. If you save your money it will not increase monthly its just same like when you deposit it

468  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: BITCOIN LEGALIZE IN THE PHILIPPINES? on: August 23, 2017, 03:22:06 AM
BITCOIN LEGALIZE IN THE PHILIPPINES?
At magiging dahilan ng pagkawala ng bitcoin panigurado
469  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Prices incline below $4000 to Hit 7-day low on: August 22, 2017, 12:32:02 PM
i dont know the reason why its price goes down, but this is actually what the investors want to happen in bitcoin, by the time it dumps, a lot of investors will buy bitcoin and by that, the price of bitcoin will soon to increase again.

471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore's Dual Ethereum AMD+NVIDIA GPU Miner v9.0 (Windows/Linux) on: April 11, 2017, 08:37:42 AM
I have 7x PowerColor RX 470 RedDevil 4GB on one rig.

Can anyone share a stable settings in afterburner and modded bios for this type of cards. I'm using the latest 9.0 Claymore mining ETH+DCR, so far they are hashing with 165 total, about 23.5 h/s., I will greatly appreciate if someone share settings to improve this number. (some of the are with Samsung memory, some are with Hynyx)

Thanks.

There are a few threads in the forum about BIOS mod.
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dash numbers on: March 12, 2017, 05:58:48 PM
I think the part of the strategy is to maintain a good price. Atleast the dev team isnt being a complete scam to the early investors!!

With the master node, the amount of circulation is reduced. So the price can be manipulated more easily.
473  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: February 25, 2017, 12:50:41 PM
When bitcoin will reach its peak in the price, I hope all will change his bad attitude towards this currency, that's just too late. Of course very pleased to be if your purse is stored a few hundred or even thousands of bitcoin at the price of $ 5-10k, as predicted experts in the field.

Nothing will change, even when the price of bitcoin increased up to the roof... The attitude of bitcoin users differ from each other... Besides, there are people who are not satisfied no matter what changes and improvement is done... Just take a look at the cash you are holding... Some still has a comment on it...

Lets just accept the fact that they are always there and they are part of the community...  Smiley
If the value increases fast that means there are people manipulating it or there are whales who are willing to hold bitcoins to make the price increase more. For normal people who does not have enough, when we see a price increase, we will be tempted to sell to cash out for a profit, we grab every opportunity to sell that's why we cannot get to the high peak price to sell

There are many reasons why the price could climb fast

And these are certainly not limited to the ones you just enumerated. For example, the price could be rising and that would be an organic growth if Bitcoin user base expanded rapidly. The other reason is reward halving and its long term effects which might have been postponed for some time. As to me, the current rise from around 600 dollars per coin is mostly the effect of the July halving. Quite naturally, if supply decreases while demand remains essentially the same, the price is set to rise eventually but that doesn't in the least mean consistent or gradual growth

One reason could be that the bitcoin is to be regulated properly in China, so it is recognised as a proper currency.

475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Looking like the ZEC party is over on: December 20, 2016, 03:03:52 PM
short sell them inline with the pumps

Is there an exchange where you can short this?

Not that I know of, it would be crazy if there was.

I meant I have been, for example, selling my ZCL around 0.0006 and buying back around 0.0005 using same amount BTC earned. Not exactly a short but same principle.

Not sure about ZEC as it seems to be a solid down trend

It seems the rate of drop has slowed somewhat.
476  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: October 15, 2016, 08:02:42 AM
in fact the price of bitcoin is trading so high and some people already missed the chance fo making money, therefore they waiting for the price to fell down, and for this they spread falls news about bitcoins in order to reduce its price.

The only person which say bitcoin its dead are the media that are paid to hit bitcoin, since i joined this forum media has made around 20 attacks into bitcoin, and i do believe when the price went from 1000 dollars to 600 and then 200 people said it were a big ponzi or similiar thing, the thing is let they call what they wanna, bitcoin is becoming more stronger year by year and those people who tryed to make bitcoin fail will be surprised and regret the things they said bitcoin were.

You right. There are also some shorter because they want to sell down the bitcon and earn money.
477  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: September 27, 2016, 04:18:59 PM
bitcoin has became inevitable part of digital currency .only people who doesn't understand said that bitcoin is dead.though its price is unstable but every altcoin is indirectly dependent on it for exchange.
They do not understand because they think bitcoin is HYIP and PONZI without knowing that those are just a scam websites who are trying to use the currency to collect fast and easy money or bitcoins, if they will try trading maybe they can change their mind and understand.
yes thats right they are not seeing the good potential because they seen it in a different ways but like what youve said if they can understand how trading works and how to gain profits from there they will consider how the coin will live for long.

Yeah if they will start making money from it then they will start treating them in positive way but if they keep on loosing in gambling  and ponzi then they will surely start hating it and spread negative rumors.

You are absolutely. People are emotional. When they lose money, they will blame the investment and something else.
478  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: September 13, 2016, 05:41:31 PM
The people just record the 1000 dollars value, since bitcoin crashed and went into the real value of 1 bitcoin people considered it a ponzi sheme, as several people joined the train expecting it to go at bigger levels, and they loose money, besides that there is no way to say bitcoin is dead, it has a lot money circulating all days at the exchanges.

I do not see the bitcoin price to crash further. If it is developed properly, the price will go to $1000 next year.
479  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: August 31, 2016, 07:48:47 AM
It was the past when people were of the doubt that bitcoin will die, now bitcoin is a stronger currency and we cannot say that it will ever go to die, we have to believe on it .

We can believe in the bitcoin if it is under constatant development. If there is no further development, it will be replaced.
480  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people keep saying BTC is dead?! on: August 17, 2016, 03:14:49 PM
i think there is some people against of bitcoin they want to down bitcoin through negative news about bitcoin, because they invest their money in other currency .

That could be one reason. The other reason are the bitcoin lovers who missed the boat, so they want lower price to buy more.
