Can somebody quote me on calling the bottom?
I would like to say "told you" in the future.

Today I had a new insight which confirms my previous prediction about the next bubble start (which you can read at the left)

The biggest tip you would have ever gotten was if you bought at the bottom that you "called".

Shorters shit their pants and had to DDOS finex so they wouldn't get margin called.

Bears might be the dumbest on earth.

Whoever has been dumping lately, please continue. I have my circle account going and it's extremely easy for me to buy your cheap coins.

Thanks.

Anyone knows loaded's stance on bitcoin these days?

I know he had a shit load of coins, probably around 80k

Must feel pretty shitty to lose all that money when price is going down lol. unless he sold

He bought the majority of his coins WELL below these prices.

40K of them are still in one address, that I think he still owns, unless he sold them all at once 11 months ago before the bubble.

https://blockchain.info/address/14j6jLececs66ZQ8ew6vTFNiEn2NupacWJ

He only verified his ownership of the 40k in that address and if they're still in the same address then he must still own them. He was also managing another 160k for other people. Would be interesting to hear from him again

He disappeared since mtgox's collapse, which "ruined his weekend". He did log-in once in June but said nothing. Actually, I suspect he's among us, posting with a different name.

Anyway, I'd be nice to here from him again. Not for any investment advice, just want to know he's okay after the mtgox mess

Hello.

Glad to see you're still "around"

469  Economy / Speculation / If the Winklevoss ETF doesn't get approved.... on: September 17, 2014, 07:02:30 PM
If the ETF doesn't get approved wouldn't they just sell all their coins at a huge profit? I think they bought in the single digits.

Could explain the downtrend and heavy sell walls.

Mark another one down under "loosing faith"

The manipulation is working! Lol
472  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 17, 2014, 02:00:31 PM
I've not seen such a wide spread across the exchanges since I got into BTC early year. It's quite clearly a manipulated flush on key exchanges. BTC china has been dragged by the feet but its obvious there is too much hurt because te exchange is +$15 and doesn't want to follow off the cliff.

We can only wait until this entity / group is done with their mission. The shorters will have to pull out of their positions soon as well, they are all going to get cluster-fucked if the trend reverses sharply - and it will when the dump is over.

These dumps might be shorters trying to push price down to gain some profits before closing out

16K BTC to $600 VS 17.5K to $100 @ Bitstamp... really comforting.

Crazy stuff. This doesn't exactly seems like a healthy market. Where are all the sells coming from?

At any rate, these phases are necessary to further distribute the Bitcoins over the world (cause that is what this is).

24K BTC to $100 and 9K BTC to $600 @ Bitfinex.... I am ignoring the fact that usually when the price move a bit up, more Asks build near the target price..... conclusion: the tension in the crypto market is not healthy at all, it gives me the impression of a coming/near collapse !!

Collapse? You must be joking lol. It will not significantly (not that word!) collapse.

a "crash" from $460 to $150 is considered a collapse IMO, which is very possible looking to this thin book order.

I would sell my house, my car, and all my toys and buy the shit out of bitcoin if we go below 200.
475  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 11, 2014, 03:54:19 AM
The ask depth on Bitstamp is considerably larger than all the other exchanges. I'm pretty sure most of the asks are not real what so ever. Is it still possible to put up asks multiple times at different prices even though you don't have but a single multiple of it? I know it used to be like this. It would be a great strategy to try and scare people and keep the price low to accumulate coins.
476  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 09, 2014, 04:06:57 AM
Even though we haven't gone up in price yet, I wonder what the ones that shorted 10K BTC are thinking now that paypal is integrating.

Any of those shorters here in this thread?  I'd love to hear your thoughts.
477  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 08, 2014, 06:04:30 PM
Where did all the Bears go that were here like an hour ago? Do they go into hibernation when the price goes up $20?

If we cross 480 on stamp and don't retrace back below it, Bulls win this dip and sellers sold for nothing, again.
478  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 08, 2014, 04:52:16 PM
The last time the ask side piled up like this was September last year, shortly before the last bubble. Does someone put up all these scary walls as a last attempt to accumulate cheap coins?
479  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: September 08, 2014, 04:48:32 PM
I have just read the news, let's see if it will have a great impact on the price!

Overstock news, price continues sliding.

Expedia news, price continues sliding.

NewEgg news, price continues sliding.

....

PayPal news, price explodes upwards?  Oh totally..

Overstock, Expedia, and Newegg are retail places that SELL the coins people spend, PayPal is person to person where people have to BUY bitcoin to send. Not all of those people will then sell coins, therefore there would be buying pressure where with the other there is selling.

It's not that hard to understand.

Keyword: Tap to Spend Bitcoin.. No mention of Buy from Fiat, only Sell..Hello Bitpay clone Roll Eyes
How paypal plans to boost its business while depressing Btc price. Double Win..

How is this a bitpay clone when paypal never receives a coin? The coins go from person to person!

It's not that hard to understand.

Thanks for explaining these complex mechanics to me, with all my years of advanced computer science and economics knowledge I never would have come to this conclusion on my own.  Let's chat more about this in a few days, weeks, or even months, when the price has exploded upwards like you said because of this seemingly earth-shattering bitcoin news.

Mmmmkay? /s

Where did I say the price will explode upwards? You sure aren't that smart that you don't even know what I said. Lol

That was your implication.

And you are wrong, people have to BUY bitcoin first before they can spend it Overstock, Expedia, and NewEgg as well.  In all cases, someone has to buy bitcoin first before spending or sending.  So like I said, adoption by Overstock, Expedia, and NewEgg had no affect price moving upwards, in fact the opposite.

I spent coins on newegg and overstock that I bought at $18. Therefore I created only selling pressure because these retailers immediately sell for fiat. When I send someone coins in the future through paypal, they will most likely keep those coins because every paypal customer will accept them, so why sell and convert for no reason? These people will then realize how easy and cool bitcoin is and then buy more.

All of the huge buyers and sellers on eBay and the likes will want to use to bitcoin for obvious reasons and they will buy themselves.

This is completely opposite of the newegg, Expedia and overstock deal. So you are wrong my friend. No doubt about it.
