461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone. on: September 23, 2017, 05:47:13 AM
I've had good moments and bad moments in my life, but the worst moments is when I spent the entire day gambling and focusing only to winning money for this or that.
I'm tired, seriously, to win big and then fall in more deep "debt" because of greediness. I can't afford to have such experiences anymore, it makes me sad the fact that instead of saving those money I preferred to spend them on a gambling site, I was like oh ok it's just x, so If i can lose it it's ok, oh it's just a faucet, it's ok if I lose it. But when If even with the faucet I reach like 0.06 or more, and then I lose them it's still a touch to the heart, that makes you say if I start back with this amount I can magically make it 0.6, yes probably, cause I did that in the past, as my far record is been from 0.001 to 1.6 btc in 3 hours with roulette, but let's not dig that.

I prefer spending the money on what are my necessities now, than see my wallet drop in amount. Every single f*** time, every time I had the chance to buy btc, or doge whatever, I ended up expecting to win big.
EVEN if I win big, I repeat that, I waste the money afterward, because I think it's a good idea to bet bigger now if my budget supports it, and there it goes down the hole.

Why I decided to leave gambling anyway? I saw how rapidly I was going down in the past few days, and like an hot potato to keep sinking my butt on the wallet. I'm tired of that. I better move my butt and find something that used to keep me busy, like programming, I love programming. But then I got stressed and I started to gamble.

I hope you all understand. All my friends I made in these years on the gambling sites, thank you everyone for your support of my strong decision.
Thanks everyone.
Thats a good decision that youre now leaving gambling. Gambling will not make you rich nor makes you successful. Gambling will not help you with your success because it makes you become addicted to it so its better for you to leave than to stay.
Leaving gambling is really the best decision a gambler can make though those who are addicted with it will have hard time but with solid mind setting someone will succeed in leaving it. I've met a lot of people who made a change of hearts and decided to turn their back in gambling now they are starting a new life.
462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Excuses on: September 22, 2017, 06:30:10 PM
Did you ever gamble with other's money to pay your own debts or otherwise to solve a certain problem through gambling?

its height of foolishness
Exactly, that kind of behavior is very unacceptable, gambling with others money is like a suicide because you do not have the guarantee that you will win.
It's not a smart thing to do in a game where full of risk, let's be responsible and only gamble what we can afford to lose because if not, we are going to go in a direction where we will slowly gonna ruin our life that might lead to bankruptcy.

Well that would likely lead to loss of trust as its not only that you probably lose other people's money, but you'll lose in a very irresponsible way. If you don't have the means for it then don',t gamble, its as simple as that

And for sure those people who used to trust you specially with money will never ever trust you again and that is the worst consequence you will face. So it's better to limit yourself or maybe stop gambling so that you will not end up doing things that you are not supposed to do.
463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BITCOIN CRAZY on: September 22, 2017, 12:26:19 PM
The value of BTC is almost all derived from speculation. The real uses are still low. So itīs normal for people to take profit when it reaches certain levels. For now the support above 3.2K is not huge. So if BTC keeps testing its suppport of 3.6 and 3.2 we can see drops below 3K. For medium term i think a ATH is coming this year again.

Its good that you mentioned it because the price is slowly going down this last couple of days which I assume would not be surprise after a huge lift from $2800-$2900 to $4000. I said its expected because the China news still has effect on the market. It's about a week from now that local Chinese will stop its operation so maybe those Chinese who are still holding are slowly dumping their coins so we need to hold and brace ourselves for another dip in the coming weeks. But again, its buying opportunity once more so better be have funds when the price bottom again at the end of the month.

Right bitcoin really got affected by the China news and other news from people that has name so I expected bitcoin to drop more. I just hope those people who keep saying that they don't want to buy bitcoin because its expensive will now take this chance coz they might not see another dip after this for this year.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the invention of the century! on: September 21, 2017, 10:11:28 PM
It is funny those who don't understand bitcoin are bashing it the most and when they do understand, they are turned into the most hardcore fans. Cheesy
I must say that Bitcoin is the biggest investment of the century and I think there is hardly any reason to disagree with it. The way Bitcoin is making its name in the international market, this thing is for sure that Bitcoin is going to rule the international market one day.

Agree bitcoin is the biggest investment in the century those who believed in it became rich in just a span of time. Blockchain in the other hand is by far one of the best invention made.
465  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Does Floyd Mayweather Matter? on: September 21, 2017, 12:12:45 PM
I think yes since he is well known all over the world and he got so many fans out there making him as an endorser will be a big plus for Centra's ICO and I've heard that DJ Khaled will also endorse this project.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge is Dead? on: September 21, 2017, 03:09:09 AM
Doge coin is a good coin because it can be said his sister Bitcoin because this coin has long been created and until now still in use as a major of payment. But this coin is not good in use as a long-term investment because the price is just about 50-150 sathosi/doge. This may be due to the large supply and there is no team of developers who want to develop the technology in dogecoin's

Agree doge is a good coin because even if the price never really went to the moon people are still believing in this coin specially the community of doge. But I strongly agree that this not good for long term investment because you will not profit that big with this coin.
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you read ICOs white paper before investing? on: September 20, 2017, 01:06:04 PM
Yes I read the white paper and try to understand the project I even look at the developer and the team before I invest to make sure that my money will be in the right investment.
468  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you deal with loss? on: September 20, 2017, 08:24:39 AM
I move on and then look for another coin to trade to cover up the loss I made or sometimes I wait for it to bounce back specially if I am using big capital because I don't want to sell if I think the loss is big.
469  Economy / Economics / Re: 1Bitcoin as a gift from someone on: September 20, 2017, 01:02:11 AM
If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?

If someone will give me 1 bitcoin I will invest half of it and keep 1/4 and then cash out the rest. 1 bitcoin in my country is very big its 1/4 of million is its going to be a big help if someone will give me that kind of amount.
470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DO YOU AGREE? on: September 19, 2017, 09:44:31 AM
Anything can happen for sure. So why not. One of the reasons that price goes up is because fewer and fewer holds large amounts of BTC in their wallets..its becoming more and more popular. Perhaps one day one satoshi will be one dollar.

I personaly believe that jan 1 2018 the bitcon price will be at 5000 usd.

I also believe in that, because Bitcoin's development is accelerating, maybe what you say for it is true and will happen in the future, so let's see Bitcoin will glide at a high price to prove that Bitcoin is really highly qualified to invest. in the future.
Same here I really believe that bitcoin can come that far as it gain popularity all over the world and also gaining some hate with people who do not believe in bitcoin. Let's all wait for that time to come and if it will lets all celebrate at laugh to those people who doubted bitcoin.
471  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are best sources to learn trading on: September 19, 2017, 07:03:16 AM
I feel like i miss the boat or missing the even bigger one.  Huh As i want to develop new skills on trading i would like to know more about trader sources. What sites they use or which news sources they follow. And is there any book e-book you can advice? Thank you all answers!
This forum is the best source of information about the trading world. You can learn a lot of information here by reading many posts and articles about trading and also search in the internet the techniques and some other information about the trading.
I also see this forum as a good way for people to get information about the system of bitcoin in regards to trading. And the best part of having this forum as mode of learning in trading is the fact that you could actulay earn by simply posting and applying on a signature camapagin that could give you an opportunity to earn more.
This forum is the best place to find information and news about altcoin and Bitcoin but it can not teach you to develop skills in trading. If you want to develop skills, the best way is to look for a professional trader who will guide their experience for you and learn the trade from the reality, and you should look for a book called "trading in the zone". It is pretty good, talk about the psychological and emotional management when trading, but all is the theory, practice and experience in the market is still the most important

Yes this forum is really a big help for everyone who are in cryptocurrency because almost everything are here. To be honest I learned almost everything from here though I still use google and youtube when I want to read and watch about trading.
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CHINA!!! on: September 19, 2017, 06:08:09 AM
Its for sure affecting the market of crypto but I don't see it dying without China and I think Chinese will always find ways to be involve in crypto. I don't have any worries at all and bitcoin now is slowly recovering from the FUD.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ETH wallet do you use? on: September 19, 2017, 04:12:14 AM
Hello!

Which ETH wallet do you prefer to use?

Thank you!

I am not sure if there is any other ETH wallet. There are wallets out there, several others, where you can also use with your ETH but when you say strictly ETH wallet, I think people will easily refer to myetherwallet.com. This is my wallet of choice as well. All the ETH-based coins can be stored here.
if I suggest to use myetherwallet or blockchain, blockchain also now support ethereum Smiley

I use myetherwallet because its safer there and you hold your own private keys though there are some issues about the phishing site. I did not know blockchain supports ethereum I'll try to use blockchain for my ethereum too.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What would you do with 10 eth on: September 18, 2017, 05:25:42 PM
Hi Guy's,

Where would you invest 10 eth in when you can and why? Smiley

If you bought your eth in a lower price then better to hold half of it and buy other altcoins that is based on eth platform there are actually plenty of them and most are good ones.
475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: September 18, 2017, 04:03:54 PM
I guess not! Crypto is not just about China though most of the investors are from there that is not the only reason why bitcoin survived there are still a lot of people from different countries who invested in bitcoin and believed in it so if we all don't want bitcoin to be dead then it won't be happening. Now Japan is dominating in bitcoin after China trying to put down bitcoin maybe this is a great move since Japan is also a well known country when it comes to doing business.
476  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trade or Hodling on: September 18, 2017, 03:06:50 PM
Day trading is suit for people who are risk taker while holding are for the investors. They are both profitable depend on how much is your capital for day trade and for holding.
477  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: September 17, 2017, 11:33:57 PM
Hello. I have a folio of BTC, ETH, NEO and some alts. I've been watching at Bitcoin since 2015 but bought only at this summer (and the last move was quite bad, I bought some BTC for $4600). I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling.  Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).

if price are falling i usually buy  more of that coins and the hold it for quite some time and sell it again when the price goes high, a.k.a buy low sell high, thata actually im doing everytime i got the the chance to  buy some coin like bitcoin when its price are dropped like crazy but there also times that i dont have the funds to buy and what i do is lending some btc to my close friends just to buy those cheap coins

well just hold into it until you earn some amount, buying at high price is quite risky, but since you already do it just stick to it, hold until you earn.

Yes buying on the top is really risky and not a good move if you want to be a trader because most of the time you will end up rekt. Others will take loss when they see they are losing 10% but for me if I make this kind of mistake I hold it because as much as I can I don't want to have losses or sometimes I do averaging.
478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you have some BTCs, why not have some Gold too? on: September 17, 2017, 02:00:56 PM
if for investment I prefer bitcoin.because the price is likely to rise from year to year,if gold, I buy for use not for investment, because I am a woman likes to decorate,
bitcoin remains the best for investment,
You have a point others are just buying because they want it as a accessories and not really investment. Though gold is really a good investment a lot of people here still prefer buying bitcoin because of the rapid growth when it comes to price/value.
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BAN ON BITCOINS!! on: September 17, 2017, 12:43:29 PM
Bitcoin cannot banned just like prostitution.

Hahaha I like your comment.

There is no way China can ban BTC. So what if China ban BTC? Other countries legalize BTC, for example Japan. And the Chinese find all ways to buy BTC. BTC never die.

Agree even if China will ban bitcoin there are still a lot of country that is making bitcoin legalize and others are slowly recognizing it. It is affecting the price of bitcoin as of now though but it will recover soon.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: change banck ico - any thoughts? on: September 16, 2017, 12:09:11 PM
Went through there Ann Thread and the project is really good but there are a lot of ICO in this kind of field that makes me confuse what is the difference with all of them. Last time I went to their website it raised almost 34k ETH so maybe investors really believe in them.
