simply betting on your favorite team will not always bring profit. Sometimes the opponent can be much better and more serious. It is stupid to bet only on your favorite club just because you are a big fan of it.
Yes, it's just stupidity to bet on your favorite team when you know that they're not going to win because a stronger team can always win a weak one and if your favorite team is the weak one then you should either not place any bet in that match in order to show your support for your team or bet in favor of the team that stronger if you're looking to win the bet.

I am about to go place my bet and I just wanted to get to hear from you guys whom you think will come out as today’s winner
Without any doubt the game will be in favor of Portugal of course because of Ronaldo. I know Mbappe is quite good but Ronaldo is at another level and that's why I think there's high chance that Portugal may win this match.

463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The pressure, fear and indecisiveness that comes with trading. on: July 04, 2024, 12:00:37 PM
Sooner or later, you will understand that it is not easy to earn profits from this market.
I believe in few days new traders understand that it's not possible to earn profits without learning trading and the market at first place. Even I have faced some good losses when I started crypto trading. Most of those losses were because of bad coin choices and that's why I always suggest new traders to choose only reputable altcoins or stick to Bitcoin only.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: getting back into the BTC game on: July 04, 2024, 11:56:52 AM
Welcome back to Bitcoin community but account hacking has nothing to do with Bitcoin and that's why you should be optimistic next time.

We always suggest everyone to stay away from custodial and exchange wallets when someone wants to invest in Bitcoin.

If you want to invest in Bitcoin then first get yourself a personal wallet, most preferable should be a personal cold wallet which is the safest way to hold Bitcoin for long term.

Bitcoin can be huge in future and we as community trust that and our beliefs are quite strong in that regard and that's why I suggest you to hold your Bitcoin for long term to gain good profits from that investment.
465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not place to make money is place to lose it? on: July 04, 2024, 11:50:25 AM
Yes, but that's the thing though, the entertainment comes with the idea that you might get money.

If you remove the money from the equation, say you play for free in those casino games, then suddenly it is not as fun any more.

It's only when you bet real money that it gets fun and entertaining, but also quite expensive.
Very true, without betting real money one can't get entertained and that's the beauty of online gambling. That's why every pro level gambler recommends others to only place bets of amounts they can afford to lose and that won't impact their everyday life.

There're greedy fellows who want to make a lot of money from gambling and those are the ones who get addicted to it. The ones who place small amount bets can get entertained and at the same time might earn some profits if their luck favors them.
466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the reputation or guarantee of casino sites being advertised here? on: July 03, 2024, 09:41:26 PM
If you are really that fond of on testing out new sites then it would be best that you should really be doing it on your own discretion.
I believe one should try his/her best to avoid new casinos because those casinos are way more riskier than already established casinos. I often avoid new casinos and always go for the ones I trust and I would say once again that I only prefer the casinos that have announcement thread on this forum and the ones that continuously advertise here.
467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not place to make money is place to lose it? on: July 03, 2024, 09:37:36 PM
Gamblers just need to be patient with their normal form of gambling and stay careful not to be sidetracked into believing or acknowledging the fact that gambling is a place for massive winning alone.
I agree with you, a gambler should only place bets for entertainment purpose only because it can be a fun activity to spend some good time and if that gambler somehow wins then he/she got lucky and he/she should avoid placing anymore bets that day.

It's easy to win other players in online multiplayer games but it's quite hard to win against the house edge of the casinos especially if you aren't lucky. If someone is lucky then he/she can win the house edge but most people aren't that lucky and that's why they'll keep losing against the house edge of the casinos.
468  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake suspended my account with 8270 USDT immediately after winning on: July 03, 2024, 09:31:31 PM
Maybe im 'toopid, but this is probably one of the driving factors of scammer casinos - HEY NO KYC!!! ... Would probably entertain anyone looking to avoid scrutiny.
There are some casinos that don't require KYC and still users can enjoy playing at those casinos. I believe BC.Game is one of such casinos where they don't ask for KYC and players are quite happy with that casino.

However, there're some casinos that require for KYC details and to be honest those are still quite reputable and people trust those casinos as well.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Bitcoin and not any Altcoin? on: July 03, 2024, 09:19:49 PM
Bitcoin is expensive. So that the reson invest in bitcoin. Other altcoin is not easy to increase the price. It tack time for price increase. But bitcoin will be increase the price any time.
Surely Bitcoin is expensive but that isn't the reason why people invest in Bitcoin. People invest in Bitcoin because they trust Bitcoin and they believe that Bitcoin will gain value in future when big institutions start adopting it and investing in it. Not only big institutions but some countries also accept Bitcoin as legal tender and that's why people prefer it over other altcoins.

I disagree with you that other altcoins can't easily increase in price in fact if we dip deeper then we can see that other altcoins can increase in value way higher than Bitcoin but as we all know that Bitcoin is the king of the market and without it other altcoins may not be able to perform well. However, when Bitcoin performs good then other altcoins perform 2x to 10x better than it when it comes to increase in value.
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the reputation or guarantee of casino sites being advertised here? on: July 03, 2024, 09:11:50 PM
There might still be plenty of casinos outside and some of them might still be great and trusted.
Yes, there are so many other online casinos that don't advertise on Bitcointalk and some of those casinos might be trustworthy but I personally avoid all those casinos that don't have announcement thread on Bitcointalk.

I believe Bitcointalk is an essential place for casinos if they want to earn the trust of the players who're part of Bitcointalk community. I know that some casinos that have announcement threads on Bitcointalk are turned out as frauds like 1xBit but most casinos are still good here and they do care about their reputation at Bitcointalk.
471  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling: games with fast results or games with a long process on: July 02, 2024, 08:47:59 PM
I'm a poker player myself so I will go for it instead of the games that give fast results but if it's about to meet wagering requirements then I will prefer fast games like dice over poker.

Not only poker but anyone who place bets at sports events also have to wait for long time to see the results and as a sports better I still prefer to wait for the results than choosing the games that give fast results.
472  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake suspended my account with 8270 USDT immediately after winning on: July 02, 2024, 08:44:40 PM
Now KYC is mandatory when making a new account, I have read you can't even get the deposit address without even entering your data to complete level 1 verification.
That's quite sad but that's very true. They're now putting so much stress on users to go through KYC verification and surely that's their strategy to remain in the list of top online casinos.

However, those who dislike KYC verification should avoid Stake in that case, but there's no guarantee that in future other casinos won't make the KYC mandatory and that's why as a gambler one should keep in his mind that casinos can change their T&C anytime and no one can stop them from doing that.
473  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The pressure, fear and indecisiveness that comes with trading. on: July 02, 2024, 08:38:34 PM
Lamentably, there are many people that believe otherwise, they think about trading as an easy way to get rich and with little effort, not realizing that trading is incredibly difficult to do it right, since you are competing against traders all around the world
Quite true, but someone who's a newbie doesn't understand that and that's why they get their accounts emptied within days. As a trader you have to think better than most traders and investors in order to make profitable trades and especially when you're competing against top level traders.

Not only traders but there are manipulators who manipulate the market from time to time. There also exist the owner of pump and dump groups who inspire newbie traders with hope that they'll get a coin pumped by 100% to 1200% or even more but actually they have bought the coin when it was already dumped and now want the newbies to add liquidity to a pair so they can exit with 50% to 80% profit or more.
474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt. GOX Hacked a Blessing in Disguise for Victims? on: July 02, 2024, 08:30:59 PM
It's a great news and I'm happy to hear that all those victims or their families if they aren't alive can get 100x profits by not being able to sell their locked Bitcoin for 10 years. It was a quite sad news for the victims when they heard that all their Bitcoin holdings were hacked and they won't be able to sell their holdings.

Many of them might regretted that why they have deposited their Bitcoin at Mt. GOX at first place and a few of those might gave up on it. The talks about Mt. GOX return plan have been going for a long time now but finally the ones who were eagerly waiting for it will get their money back. It's surely a blessing in disguise but I fear it may be the cause of huge dump if Mt. GOX allow all users to withdraw their Bitcoin.
475  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM DCA-ING on: July 02, 2024, 08:18:46 PM
You're a pretty bad trader buddy but trust me you're a good investor. In current market situation DCA-ING is the best strategy to accumulate more Bitcoin and hold those for long term.

Those who're good traders might be scared because the market is not moving according to their expectations but those who're good investors often buy at dips and follow the DCA strategy.

No one actually know that either the market will move upward or it will go downward but surely those who believe in Bitcoin will try their best to accumulate it no matter where the market moves.

476  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: With is the minimum post require to earn a merit on: July 01, 2024, 06:18:31 PM
Oh yes, several threads on this forum also provide threads for memes to submit several posts to be reviewed and then proposed to get merit.
Like this:
[Merit] Share your best local board posts/topics
[Merit] Share your best posts/threads with Fillippone to be merit assessed
Both of those threads can be helpful for the members to gain merits if they're making good posts but as fa as I remember, Fillppone's thread is a huge one and if someone posts his/her merit worthy posts/threads at that thread then it can take from 1-4 months to get any merits.

There used to be a great offer by The Sceptical Chymist for reviewing good posts/thread but now he's finally ended that great offer. You may also try to look at the thread of NotATether where members can get some merits if they can run a Bitcoin node for 14 days.
477  Economy / Speculation / Re: In July do we go bull and pass 75k? on: July 01, 2024, 05:59:41 PM
If the price of bitcoin is at a lower level then it will be difficult to come back down but now we have to see the market reaction in the next few days.
Market is doing well today and if continue to do similarly for a week then we can see what will happen. I still believe we may see some more dips if market somehow goes down again but there's a chance to see market going upwards only. Let's see what the future holds for us.
478  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Stake suspended my account with 8270 USDT immediately after winning on: July 01, 2024, 05:57:38 PM
You're wrong IMO, they've already ruined their reputation here, by locking many accounts without giving any reason and requiring endless KYC, mostly when those customers were starting to cumulate some profits. I think they don't really care about their image here anymore TBH. .....
KYC policy without any doubt is the worst policy from casinos but it's now part of most casinos and that's why questioning it would be a stupid move. One should read the T&C of a casino before joining that casino because without reading the T&C of a casino one may later have to go through KYC verification.

I'm not sure that you're right or not but if they don't really care about their reputation at Bitcointalk then why would they're still marketing on this forum via their signature campaign? I know they have been spending way more on Kick.com but I guess they're still not running away from Bitcointalk and I agree that from Bitcointalk they can get way more good players than that kick.com or marketing anywhere else.
479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is not place to make money is place to lose it? on: July 01, 2024, 04:00:34 PM
Correct, because as gamblers, we should not expect to get a large amount from the casino we enter. Especially since you know that most gamblers experience gambling losses and only a few win in the reality of gambling.
Yes, and I believe expecting to get large profits as a gambler is not easy because each casino has house edge and that allows them to win most of the times and only few people who are very lucky can somehow win against that house edge.

The casinos are businesses and if each player starts winning from the casinos then how those casinos can make profit as a business? One should understand that thing and by keeping that in mind one may not consider gambling as a way to generate wealth but a way to enjoy sometime.

Or you just want to create marketing about a website that you are share of and are aware of the consequences that will occur. Think again about your reputation and don't ever share something you don't know.
I guess it's more a type of marketing than a useful tool because all such threads are clearly created to promote a platform and the ones who promote such platforms often get commission from referral programs, or they make profits themselves from the traffic because they own the site or they might get fix payments to promote a service.

Those who promote such services don't think about others because they want to make money for themselves. And when it comes to reputation then I guess the OP doesn't have much reputation on this forum because he/she has created a new account with no reputation to create such promotional threads.
