I rather buy bitcoin than litecoin. I don't trust litecoin. There's a lot of good altcoins in the market which is a lot better than litecoin. Look for XRP(Ripple), CRBIT(creditbit), WAVES, ETH(etherum), DGB(digibyte) and SC(siacoin). They are very undervalue. But its your money. You decide. Im just giving better option.

When you buy altcoin exchange theres also fee. Some exchange charge .2% of altcoin you buy. Maybe if you deposit aleast $10-$15. I think that's a recommended deposit amount to start altcoin trading.

Hold them mate. That's a very huge loss if you just sell them in no time. Buying at peak is very delicate move. We don't know the movement of market. If im not mistaken. $2700+ is the all time high. So if you buy at $2500 a piece. You still have $200 profit if you sell them on that price.. But you miss that price. Anyway, it will take time to get back on that price again. Better hold them. Why hackers love bitcoin? Because its anonimous. They can't be trace. If you see, the hackers still free and can't arrest of authorities because they don't even know how can they find these criminals. And not only because its anonymous, its also a very valuable. $2000 a piece. Who don't want that?

Bitcoin is very volatile. We can't blame them if they wont accept bitcoin. That's why majority still prefer fiat because its more stable than bitcoin. For me, bitcoin is only good for investment. May i know which country you live? Use electrum wallet or mycelium. Im using both wallets because you can store your btc at the same time, see the price in your local currency. You can see the worth of bitcoin in your local currency. Or better use google and search its conversion in your local currency if you want.
