461  Economy / Economics / Re: World economy, what do you think? on: June 11, 2018, 10:10:07 PM
International relationships influence economy in a large scale. For one, if you're not on good terms with a country then you can't do business with them, and they can't do the same to you. Therefore there are products that won't be in your country and theirs. That creates a vacuum in your economy. A healthy relationship breeds a healthy economy.
Not only that if the country your nation is having difficulties is a very powerful country like the United States then not only you will have problems with their government but with several other governments as well since the US government has a lot of influence all over the world, this makes international relationships critical especially for smaller countries.
462  Economy / Economics / Re: How much more fall is possible ? on: June 11, 2018, 10:00:31 PM
How much more fall is possible in price of bitcoins?
That is a really good question but like many other questions it is impossible to give a definitive answer, the price does not seem to be recovering at all and that is not a good sign since many people will probably begin to worry more and more about this and will begin to sell their coins as a result of it, this in return will probably make the price to go even lower, so while I do not like it there is a real chance we see a price below 6000 again.
463  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price December 2018 on: June 11, 2018, 09:51:21 PM
Some analysts are of the view that Bitcoin Price could reach a peak in December that is double the price now?
Those analyst are probably wrong we are seeing the price going down again, and there are many factors which signal the possibility of an even further decrease in the price or that we are going to remain at the current levels for some more time, the issue which worries me the most is the issue with the Mt Gox coins that are going to be sold by the trustee in the next months.
464  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin should I invest in? on: June 11, 2018, 08:59:40 PM
The coin that should  you invest is depends to your taste, we have different opinions and prediction to the coin . The best you do is to make a research and get a list of different kinds of altcoins you can search CMC who are all coins are being listed make a research of every single coin to know what coin is best to buy.
Things depend a lot on your strategy and your beliefs, some people like to invest in smart contract platforms like ethereum and other similar coins, while some other prefer to invest in coins which concentrate on anonymity as its main feature, personally I think that decentralized exchanges are the future and we need them more than ever so that is a good niche to invest.
465  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin down ( Mt. Gox is dumping ) on: June 10, 2018, 04:21:54 PM
Extremely bad. Two consecutive days the Cryptocurrency market is a red disaster. Bitcoin is offering a discount of $ 7,800. There are a lot of people worried, including me. Perhaps, I should now pause for reinvestment and continue to be patient with the volatility of the market. Do not know tomorrow the market is green again?
Give me an idea.
I just have a question, what kind of expectations did you had when you entered the market? Because it seems you want the price of skyrocket just because you are holding some bitcoin and that is not the way this market or any market works, there are going to be some ups and downs and you must decide on a strategy to try to get profits, one of the most popular strategies in the forum is to hold for the long term, no only it is easy but it is the strategy that gives you the better chances to get profits.
466  Economy / Speculation / Re: Does speculation affect bitcoin negatively? on: June 10, 2018, 04:08:45 PM
From last few days, so many negative news regarding btc have been aired. Then lot of people speculate the price of bitcoin and just after that I have noticed some significant change in the price index of btc. Do you think that these speculation affect the price of btc a lot???
There is no doubt FUD affects the market of bitcoin and when you add the volatility of bitcoin to the mix this only make things worse, however while this can affect the price negatively there are moments where the opposite happens and we saw this in bubble of the last year, where many positive news came at the same time and we saw a huge growth in the price of bitcoin.
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bounty not an investment? on: June 10, 2018, 03:57:40 PM
I have seen a lot of threads here asking about whether people will invest in a coin or do bounty. Its high time we all understood that, investment is not only about money. To me, any effort put into something to make it a reality can be regarded as investment. People who buy coins invest with their monies whiles those who participate in bounties also invest with their time and energy. Money is a replaceable resource but time can never replaced. To me, bounty hunters are also investors. What do you think?

Of course it is. And I think bounty hunters invest much more than investors. Not only time is very valuable, but also the efforts of the people who put in every campaign.
This is something that few people can understand.  Huh
Of course bounty hunters invest more time than investors but investors put their money and the only way to get money is to exchange your time for it, so depending on how much money they invested in the project we may say that a single investor may put more time than all the bounty hunters combined , after all the purpose of an ico is not to distribute tokens to people but to raise funds so the developers probably appreciate a lot more the money they get than the exposure given by bounty hunters.
468  Economy / Economics / Re: A coin issued by some country government - would you go for it? on: June 10, 2018, 03:43:53 PM
Imagine that some respectable country would go far beyond legalizing cryptocurrency and start one of its own. It would surely be no scam and it would probably have a strong support, but would there be any drawbacks to the currency and the state itself? Would it get more attention than some of the biggest coins now?
It does not matter what country creates a cryptocurrency I will never use it, the first cryptocurrency bitcoin was created by satoshi as an effort to get away from the current economic system, and I'm not going to begin to use a cryptocurrency that is nothing more than a fiat currency that is designed to keep us captive of a system that is institutionalized fraud.
I don't really want the government get involve in crypto since they might make some manipulation to their people, but if they will make coin that can do easy access on government facilities or will implement wide use it will be a good idea tho.
It will be just like fiat so it is likely you will be able to use it for everything, so many people are going to be deceived by this, thinking this is an even better version of cryptocurrencies but nothing could be further from the truth, when the system begins to collapse we will see the difference between those cryptocurrencies and the real ones like bitcoin, this is going to be similar to what it is going to happen to those holding paper gold and those holding the real thing.
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you a bounty hunter .. ?? on: June 09, 2018, 11:27:17 PM
Yes, I'm a bounty hunter. It's not easy: you need to find promising bounty campaigns, meet all their requirements, submit reports, check the accrual of tokens.
Yes, I do not think they are easy, they can cost us a lot of time and effort, so maybe in the near future making money through Bounty will be harder for us, because there are too many Bounty players have a lot of moves so paying and joining will be more difficult.
There are many bounty hunters but there are many bounty campaigns as well, unless the market of cryptocurrencies slows down considerably I still think we are going to see many bounty campaigns in the future, however it will be a mistake to depend on them economically, think on them as a way to get some extra money if you like but nothing more than that.
470  Economy / Economics / Re: Why most bitcoin users from good economies countries? on: June 09, 2018, 11:09:21 PM
This distribution makes total sense because when you do not have enough funds to support yourself and your family you do not go online and trade, you simply do your best to figure out where to get food for a day and look for that job that provides you with money right away, not in a while like most investments do.

This is just the way thing works, if you look at all the biggest discoveries and inventions you will see they come from people that were in a good economic position already and that could take some of their free time to think about something else than survival, so it makes sense that most investors and most coins are held by people coming from rich countries.
471  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ICOs are great on: June 09, 2018, 10:44:51 PM
After development of bitcoin a lot of cryptocurrencies have been established and all the token is followed by the process of ICO. Through ICO many organizations are raising funds for different currencies also offering public bounty in exchange of their tokens.
I believe its a win win situation for both the participants and entrepreneur. At the start of ICO the token price are set at their lowest so there is a huge possibility of profits in investing on ICO. Moreover participants can get discount during the ICO period.
What do you think about ICO.
I will probably correct that and say that some icos are great, if that was the tittle of the thread I will agree completely since there are many projects which would not have been developed if it was not due to the support of the community, but scammers have seen this and they have decided to take advantage of this and this is why you see people complaining about being scammed by icos, but despite all of that the model of icos is successful and we should support the coins in which we believe in.
472  Economy / Economics / Re: War on cryptocurrency! on: June 09, 2018, 10:17:29 PM
The main reason why many governments declare war on bitcoin because they do not want their local currency to collapse with bitcoin so they anticipate it by the rejection of bitcoin and cryptocurrency.
This may slow down the collapse in countries where the local economy is still strong but in countries where things are not working out correctly a ban is not going to have an effect, people are going to do what they need in order to survive, at some point things get so bad that even law abiding citizens will risk going to jail than to go another day without food.
473  Economy / Economics / Re: Blockchain as a solution to inequality? on: June 08, 2018, 09:31:03 PM
Bitcoin was never designed to be a solution to anything like that, I know that some people would like to see a better world and while I understand that, people need to accept that there is always going to be a level of unfairness in the world and income and wealth inequality is one of those things, so bitcoin is not going to solve those issues and we must accept that fact.
474  Economy / Speculation / Re: The whole market is experiencing slump in last few days. on: June 08, 2018, 09:04:12 PM
The market is not positive and since the beginning of may , the price of major cryptocurrency has been fallen and not all that stable. It may take some time for it reach it true price.
it's really important that we all have to stay patient waiting for the market back up again as before, because in this month same month last month the market experienced an unimaginable decline. but with the time is not long certainly the market will be back in the original

a couple of things here that you should not confuse with each other.
first one is that you should confuse "patience" that people keep repeating these days with "bag holding". for the past couple of months what has been happening among newcomers was that they bought a lot of different altcoins because the social media was telling them how good they are and now they are being lulled into having "patience" where in fact they are bag holding and losing money  every day.

second is what you called "original" doesn't mean anything. a certain price that happened before doesn't have to be the real value and coins certainly don't have to go back there anymore. in fact a lot of the altcoins will never go back up let alone going back up to their ATH in a bubble.
This is the reason the strategy to hold your coins should only be applied to the best altcoins and it could be argued the only coin that should be held for the long term no matter what is bitcoin, this is something that a person learns after a few weeks and months in the market if that person takes the time to learn about how things work around here, but if they do not they will make the mistake of holding useless coins.
475  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has dropped so invest more on: June 08, 2018, 08:45:18 PM
This is the very good opportunity to invest in bitcoin, because once the price increases we cannot buy the bitcoin at that time. So invest in bitcoin now and hold the coin for long time for future. Surely the price will increase in future and fly to moon. Dont get panic about the current situation due to price drop. This is temporarily and not permanent. Once the market recovers automatically the price will increase at that time you can earn profit.
The opportunity we have right now thanks to the low price of all the cryptocurrencies is something we do not know how long it is going to last so it is important to take advantage of the opportunity, how many people regret not investing in bitcoin before October of the last year when the price was still reasonable? So investing right now is a good idea before the price begins to grow again.
476  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and retirement - how do you see your future? on: June 08, 2018, 08:16:03 PM
I see that my future is bright because with bitcoin it gave me opportunity to earn money and those money will be used for my future business so if i will have enough money from bitcoin then i will just building businesses and that will give me a good source of income that will become the key for my good retirement.
People are earning a lot of money from BTCs but I want to ask one question because I really don’t understand how the people earn from these BTCs? If you can answer my question, I will be thankful to you as my question will be cleared.

If you are earning money from BTCs, be aware of that it can also happen to you that you can get a loss in it so make your plans to save yourself from it.
You can use whatever method you like, bitcoin is a currency so all the methods available to earn fiat are available for bitcoin as well, you can take a look at the goods and the services section of the forum and a lot of people there are earning money selling products for their services, some earn through trading or investing while some others earn some extra money through signature campaigns, which method you choose will depend on your skills and your desire to make money through bitcoin.
477  Economy / Speculation / Re: be careful what you wish for on: June 07, 2018, 10:39:53 PM
Because most of the people trade with very little amounts od bitcoin, only way for them to buy more bitcoins is price to crash down a lot, but that will not happen.
There are some people who wish to see bitcoin crash for other reasons, they support bcash or some other alt, this people or groups would like their coin to be on first place, not bitcoin. In this group belong people who like fiat currencies, they would sure like to see entire crypto market crash.
Real crypto followers and supporters don't wish bitcoin to crash, they are good with current situation. Drops and rises should be natural, driven by supply and demand.
Those that wish for the price to crash and see sub 1k prices again are very similar to those that want to see bitcoin skyrocketing and see ridiculously high prices, they do not have a lot of money and they want to make up the difference with a greater volatility in the price but bitcoin is not going to move as they want just because they wished for it, so for all of those that are in those circumstances the only thing I can say is that if you want to see those profits then you need to take the risk and invest in altcoins.
478  Economy / Economics / Re: How to calculate profit on: June 07, 2018, 10:20:32 PM
So lets say I put in $100 dollars. I buy while its at a low of $10,400. The price goes up to $10,400 and I sell. Whata my profit?
If you bought bitcoin at 10400 and then you sell it at the same price you did not got profits, however since the exchanges do not offer their services for free then this means that you lost some commission to the exchange that will depend on their terms of service and if you want to get your money out of the exchange you will need to pay for that as well, so you lost money in the example you are giving.
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which coin should I invest in? on: June 07, 2018, 09:26:42 PM
It is difficult to say exactly because the coins are quite a lot and among them, too, a lot of good you can choose at your discretion by looking spikok leaders among them. After all, some are valuable, and some are stable.
Even though there are a lot of coins listed we have options to choose the best coins to invest. Thoroughly search the best coins in the top market and if the project were good to handle the platform. Hence, analyze the market in which coins and take the risks this will guide you when investing.
There are a lot of coins but not many that are worth our time, so if you really do not want to take such a high risk it is a good idea to invest in the coins a the top of the market cap, if you are willing to take higher risks then the whole market gets open but you need a deep understanding of how cryptocurrencies work so you can choose a winner among so many coins.
480  Economy / Economics / Re: What if all the governments of the country united to strictly prohibit the exist on: June 07, 2018, 09:04:45 PM
Perhaps one day with the current bitcoin advances, bitcoin digital currencies will be an international currency for all countries, and make it easier for every human to make transactions between countries when going to another country.
if it happens in the future it will certainly affect the paper money that exists around the world, whereas we know when the banknotes have a lot of history and symbolize the diversity of a country with other countries.
if that happens, surely the government will not remain silent on the matter, there will be an agreement between state governments to immediately close the bitcoin network to the world.
what will you do if you have a lot of bitcoin.
They do not have the power to do so, the only way to affect the bitcoin network is by shutting down the whole internet and if governments around the world did that there will be an outcry from a significant portion of the population of the world that are very dependent in it, in fact I do not know if governments could really shut down the internet since that would mean shutting their communication channels as well.
