461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen to your BTC and Alts if you died today? on: May 02, 2017, 05:38:42 AM
If I die today, all my bitcoin and alts will be lost too. The alts and bitcoin that I have on an exchange will probably be used by the exchange eventually I guess, once they see an account being unused for so long. And the ones I have in my wallet will also just stay there as I have not told anyone about it, and no one knows the keys or passwords.
And secondly know one I know, knows of the crypto currencies and the world of bitcoin.
So you raised I valuable point, I guess we all should tell some people who we can trust about these things, especially if we have some decent amount of bitcoin or alt that will be valuable in the real world.
Loss can be prevented if you are ready with it. For better, it should be saved in notebook so that no password is need for your relatives to get your wealth in bitcoin if you have. However, if an incedent occured where in you didn't expect that you will die(let's just hope it won't happen) and you don't even prepared for that, your money won't get recovered since bitcoin is decentralized and there is no identity verification need to acess it but the email and password only.
462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I suddenly decided to leave gambling alone. on: May 02, 2017, 04:59:02 AM
The way the above member explained it is true.
And at that point it is considered an addiction that only gives a false belief that they are receiving happiness and not in a good way.
This is destructive behavior that requires attention by a professional so to help them get out of this never ending cycle of believing they need this avenue of gambling in order to sustain this source of happiness in their lives,
They need another way to receive this same feeling of so called happiness but that is healthy and not so detrimental to their lives. This effects their families or whom ever comes in contact with them for a matter of fact. It is like a disease that is like the plague.
gambling are destructive in most people point of view i guess.

and you know that but keep moving forward to continue to gamble however , that is because addiction and something like that never ended with good things. better to stay away when you think you are not able to manage your money and your emotion in gambling.
Gambling isn't the problem of life destruction since it is a person's choice if he will still put his money at stake, thus there is no other responsible if his decision get wrong but only himself. If a gamble has a right mind set that the only goal is to put what he can afford to lose, there would be no problem. As long has  he know he is out of control and he let himself doing that over and over again, it's his fault.
463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the easiest way to make a profit from gambling? on: May 01, 2017, 11:56:10 AM
I don't think of there's a easiest way to make profit from gambling because gambling is more risky than were expected and its not appropriate to make job. As what as i see there's so many playing gambling and making it as job lol. But its true and since i expereince many in gambling then i prefred to that there's no easiest way to gain profit in gambling
Every one has their own point of view. but to me i think most of the people play gambling for making money and they consider gambling as one of the most easiest and quickest way of making money, and i think it is a fact because in any format of gambling there  is no need for such a hard work, but with a less effort we can  make good profit but you need to be lucky because in gambling we mostly depend on our luck. so if you are lucky then you can make money in any format of gambling without any effort and struggle.
It is the reason why they gamble .
Luck is needed but it is not only the one that can make you win even you are the lucky one but tou dont know how to play well you can easily lose. I believe luck exist and it is depending in a game that you being played.
Luck and self control are  the biggest considertion in winning gambling. Though we all know that knowledge and startegy are also important, it won't work if a gambler doesn't have right discplinary application to himeslf and he tend to play though he know how unfortunate he is for that certain time.

465  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hold or Sell on: May 01, 2017, 04:04:14 AM
Currently I'm trying to wait for my investment give me profit approx 5-10% but mostly i'm getting 5% profit from my investment, I will sell when get enough profit, not hold for long time cause my capital is not high just 2BTC.
That's right. It's better to get enough profit than risking too much. I currently have BTC1 in my wallet and I'm just waiting for this week to see how will it go and if it goes moren consistent, I would sell half of it in altcoin as an investment.
466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: May 01, 2017, 01:46:38 AM
I just wanted to know that, what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit. But i want to know what is the risk involved. Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.
As what I can now, investing bitcoin is less riskier since its price is more likely to be stable than these previous months that volitality occrured. As what I can see, digital currency is being promoted in such deifferent countries which makes postive effect in bitcoins and altcoins.
467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this man addicted to gambling? on: April 28, 2017, 02:08:28 PM
I really dont think the said man is an addict, if he was really an addict he will spend every hour of the day on the site and if he is able to take 1-2 days off from the site, that clearly shows that he has got a gripe on the whole thing and thats really smart of him not using his own money.
We the act he do can be called addicted .it doesnt mean you need to spend the whole day to be called a gambling addicted .You will know a gambling addict cant resist playing. Maybe he is part on the co owner of gambling or he have a free time to play anytime there its not totally smart thing.
A person who has an addiction must have a hard nature. Just look at this time a lot of gamblers who lost a lot of money. They sometimes do not see the time and conditions while playing. I suggest that a game with a good emotional state can give us great results as well. So we should be getting addicted to get the money.
Actually, emotion shouldn't be used for gambling or putting your money at risk. Since you are about to make a decision for every roll you make, you must not doubt and it will just happen if you ignore your emotion and focus more on winning strategy imstead. Thou must understand people who lose are those who made decisios which they are not sure about it.

Funding progress is going very well now, I think we will raise 3 million usd before ICO ended, because the team is famous, and escrow is sasha.
I think it will raise more than 3 million not only because of the team leaders but also because of its members. People are looking for a great ICO to invest in and ETT is great flr them.
469  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any decent traders here? on: April 28, 2017, 04:18:23 AM
Are there any altcoin traders who actually make money on the long run?
How much do you make in a month (in percentage)?
What are your strategies, e.g. how do you know an altcoin is worth investing in?

Share your secrets, we are all bros here  Cool
There are altcoin traders who actually make money in the long run. A trader can't say in exactly or in a certain way on how much percentage of profit he earn for a time of period since trading is market based, hence it's not consistent. Strategies can be ascertain by only himself since everyone of us have different style of strategies. Altcoin is worth of investing if you choosw the right one and you bought it at great price which is not high.
470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Giving up gambling is not easy on: April 28, 2017, 02:46:20 AM
Prevention of gambling is a difficult decision, especially if large amount that he lost in gambling. But if he could have discipline to his himself is maybe not coming back to gambling. Addiction to gambling is a difficult thing to go back for it and they know that its hard to stay away from it.
correct, that is a very hard to do. Because its not really easy due to the gambler was already an addicted, even they lose big amount of money. So I think the better way to do with it is self control must be implement unto it, even for a little by little application of giving up.
Right, some people try to use certain add-ons that allow them to get blocked from websites for a specific period of time. There’s also people out there that request the admin to block them for a little while so that the gambler could focus on school and not be distracted by their gambling habits.
I don’t have an issue with gambling because I don’t do it as much, maybe once every two months I would try to deposit money into a gambling website and see what’s over there though.
Reqesting an admin in gambling site to block him would not work in order to avoid gambling since he can do another account to gamble more. If a gambler doesn't really hage a discipline/control in himslef nothing can stop him but himself. It would be more effecitve if he encourage himself to do other things which is profitable and funnier so that he could forget his gambling addiction bit by bit.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the people who don't like Bitcoin? on: April 28, 2017, 12:41:59 AM
There is only one thing to do to those who do not like Bitcoin.  Respect them.  Respect their point of view.  We can try to persuade them to change their belief but if they show resistance, let them be and respect them.  They will come into realization that they are wrong in due time.
People are't easy to pursue/convince. However, it is a matter of way convincing them. No matter how much good you are in covincing as long as they are not interested and the dont have to changed their mind and I agree that thou must respect it.You have nothing to do but to let them realized your words and let them regret of not listening you.
472  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ICO] EncryptoTel: Secure VoIP and B2B blockchain communications infrastructure on: April 27, 2017, 01:00:16 PM
I thinks it's a good project and investment !
Really what you say if you are interested you can invest here and I guarantee it will be successful

How is this a guarantee? . Who can guarantee how much an ico will succeed? Please share if you know something.
So that those who remain in the dilemma are informed.

No one can tell how much an ICO will guarantee succession since a future can't be predicted certainly. However, as I see how much it is being supported and how good is the vision of this project, succession is quite tangible.
473  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for local transactions on: April 26, 2017, 07:33:55 AM
I mostly use localbitcoins for selling my bitcoins. They have not asked me about my personal details. But i dont know whether they bwould ask my details if i have to buy bitcoins. If they ask, then i would have to think about buying bitcoins with person face to face. However, its a very good article for newbies who have just now entered the bitcoin world.

Yup! it is really helpful for some newbies in the forum and I think I am thinking the same thought too in showing my details of my identity with someone apparently and learning my stock of bitcoin in my wallet, in the bitcoin world it is really important that you stay anonymous I think it is for your family and your own protection for safety measures.

Definitely helping newbies with this articles like me. Of course, all of us don't want to give or show too much information and we want to remain anonymous, if that is the case then maybe I agree that its better face to face when buying bitcoins. Anonymity is the big advantage who want with bitcoin if we are exposing our personal information then we are taking away one advantage of bitcoin.
Certainly, anonymity must be presserved in this field of digital currency to protect one's users account from hackers and questioning when does and how does the money went to his wallet. Thus, choose local exchanger which doesn't ask for identity. There many local exchangers that didn't requires identity in order for a one user make an exchange.
474  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day trading on: April 26, 2017, 07:04:07 AM
In altcoin trading,is day trading profitable or trading on a long term basis?
Ofcourse long term trading is more profitable then in day trading , Because with the time the value of the altcoins turned Into many times prices , so long term trading is more profitable .
But if you will see at the day trading then Ofcourse day trading is also profitable but is small then what we can gain in the long term trading .
In the day trading you have very less chances of the loss , so day trading is almost more profitable Because if you made your deals complete on the current day then you don't need to worry that particular coin will be delisted from the exchange or not and etc etc .

Actally, we can't say which is more profitable since it is upon  the way or what we are trading. Both of them are profitable. It depends on a trader on what strategy he is doing and what currency he is trading.
475  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What Is Bitcoin Trading and Why It's risky? on: April 26, 2017, 06:45:37 AM
Every kind of trading is risky. Bitcoin has a very small market cap, so fluctuations are frequent. Bitcoin is often considered one of the most attractive currency for trading, due to high volatility. But there can be a risk of scams and fraud. So choose wisely.
I would only agreed on you that trading would only be risky if traders  don't have enough proper knowledge in doing trade. But if you know the process of doing in the trading platform, well I guess the world "RISK" I think has no space anymore. But the risk that they are talking about for what others said here, if your prediction is wrong, everything you had for sure will disappear at once in just a matter twinkle of an eye only.

Even experienced traders that have been in the game for years still risk their money. There's no such thing as no space for risk anymore because that would mean that you're sure with every single trading move that you make.

Actually, it's easy to know the whole process of trading. You can also know the strategies to earn profits. But the thing is, will the market go in accordance to what you wanted? It's all random if you ask me. There can be a huge dump coming up and no one knows about it except the dumper himself.
Knowing the whole process isn't easy for a newbie trader. It would take a lot of time for him to understand everything, specially when that certain person don't have known any professional or pro trader, that must be challenging yet can be studied easily.

477  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one is better? Forex or crypto currency trading? on: April 26, 2017, 03:37:36 AM
For me cryptocurrency trading is better. 100k is satoshi is enough to start trading while on forex you need  a big capital to start trading. There's a lot of cryptocurrencies that means a lot of choices that you can invest. Forex trading is more like for rich people while Crytocurrency trading is more like for average people like me.
I agree. Forex also needs more knowledge, understanding, terminologies and analysis. Unlike in crypto currency exchange, you only need to know its principles, how does transaction works, and what is the best timing to sell/buy a certain coin.

I can attest to that. I started trading TorCoin this afternoon with $120 and I'm up to $200 after my most recent trade. Beginners luck I guess, because if trading were actually this easy I'd be rich.
Trading isn't actually easily source to get rich. You would take a lot of time, patience, and  money. However, this is something worth it to do since you can see the progress you make every time you do trading.
478  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the biggest disadvantages of Bitcoin? on: April 26, 2017, 03:17:27 AM
The Biggest disadvantage of bitcoins is his price nobody know when the price increase and decrease. its good for investor but to sometimes its become to much risky, like trading, but much risky much money yeahh
This is actually advantage for a traders since they can use volitality for them to make profit. In digital currency, sudden changes in every coin's value should be expected since its market isn't huge as foreign exchange. Sooner, price of every cons are more lilely to be stable as digital currency has been adopted globaelly.
479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Gambling Investments on: April 26, 2017, 02:21:15 AM
I've noticed that there was a few people within Bitcointalk that have invested Bitcoin into different Casino's. I don't really know how that works because the thread style that the Casino owners posted made the thread look like it was one of those get rich today schemes and I didn't want to get into it.
Does anyone know if they actually made people money or is it all just a scam? I am not looking to invest in it, I just want the info.

Thanks.

There's more then "a few" people here who have made casino bankroll investments. Popular gambling sites have hundreds and thousands of bitcoins invested by different users, if sure most of them visit bitcointalk. If you are not familiar with it, it might sound suspicious, just like any other investment, but actually there a big difference between ponzi scams and casinos - casinos don't promise you stable profit, they don't guarantee you any profit at all, investors just expect that because of the house edge more players will be losing more than they win and it will create profit for the house.
I don't consider putting money in bankroll can be consider as investment since it should be played, not to be invested. In gambling, I only consider investing house edge as investmets since it groweverey of it shares as it gets profit from the bankroll.
480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to control greed on gambling? on: April 26, 2017, 01:55:55 AM
As i know gambling is all about luck and how to control my greed, except sportbetting (of course need skill and strategy).

I have experience in gambling (casino), somtime i hit big only with faucet or free money and i can withdraw from that. but because my greed i always want more and more, then i'll come again with my money as bankroll. Bet more and hope win more, but because of that i'll lose my money little by little and usually i'll stop after my bankroll to be "0". I call that with greed.
Anyone here have any suggestion to control my greed? Let me know.

The best thing to do is, don't gaamble when you are in bad mood. Always gamble when you are in mood, otherwise you would tend to be greedy if you play with bad mood since it's difficult to control your emotion if you are mot in the right mood.
