461  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: French National TV Starts Advertising Bitcoin on: November 30, 2019, 03:50:28 PM
A great news and move to promote crypto or Bitcoin,
Now more people would be aware of it and would be curious about it.
I think it would be great if there would be more country or even other company or products that would promote Bitcoin.
462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Maybe satoshi is dead on: November 30, 2019, 03:12:55 PM
maybe SATOSHI is dead and BTC is at mercy of GITHUB developers, owned by blockstream

what you guys think ?
We could never know if it's true but it could be it has been 10 years already,
What if Satoshi was already old when he created Bitcoin and there are so many things that could happen in 10 years,
So many natural disaster or could be an accident or due to illness or being old.
But no matter what we should be thankful for Satoshi, For this great gift that he gave us.
463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is impossible to proof that somebody is Satoshi. on: November 30, 2019, 08:15:43 AM
It is impossible to prove that somebody is Satoshi.

I firmly believe that even if real satoshi turned up one day, people will also declare him Faketoshi.
This is so true.

Even if Satoshi presents his privatekeys, signs messages, shows his passwords, e-mail account accesses... it could be someone else who has all these privatekeys, passwords, accesses now.
He would only prove the ownership of these but it is impossible for somebody to prove that he is Satoshi.
It is possible all of the proof that he would show is legit so why would we doubt him?
If that person could open up all the old e-mails or Satoshi's account+private keys then why should we doubt him?
But this scenario seem's impossible to happen after all Satoshi vanish wothout a trace so that mean's he doesn't have a plan to reveal his true identity.
464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Satoshi hides his identity? on: November 29, 2019, 10:53:00 AM
I think Satoshi hides his/her true identity to make sure of his/her family safety.
Satoshi might want to have a normal life out of the spotlight out of all the controversy and safe from potential threat.
Government and also illegal syndicate would want to get him/her for his/her invention.
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are so few women buying into Bitcoin? on: November 29, 2019, 08:32:28 AM
It amazes me the number of men in crypto but women not so much.
When I talk to my girlfriend or female friends I feel like they don't care about it or I am crazy lol. I offered 3 of my female friends 10 dollars worth of Bitcoin via Coinbase to see if they will be interested.  I helped download the app, set up two-factor authentication and some other basic stuff. After a couple of months, they even don't recall how to access their wallets. I am very disappointed lol. Can someone explain to me why women are not interested in crypto?

We couldn't just force others what we want we all have different opinion.
And it is the only reason that I see if a person doesn't like something they would just forget about it easily,
You've said it before it was your friends just put it this way if they told you something girls really like something like a brand of make up or cosmetics would you remember it after a month?
466  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here is why Bitcoin can only go down on: November 28, 2019, 01:09:47 PM
Why would you even compare it to a mobile phone?
As you can see all of the alt's didn't even replace or overtake Bitcoin in the past 10 years so how could you even compare it to the first mobile phone?
You are just one of those people who doesn't believe in Bitcoin and how could you say that it can only go down when it already proves that it can go up so many times before.
467  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Screaming SCAM, means you're stupid. on: November 28, 2019, 11:18:32 AM
I don't really get it why are there still some people who fall's victim into a scam investment when it is very clear that their investment platform is a scam.
It is true that those who scream scam is stupid because smart one's wouldn't fall for it and if you did then you should learn from it and try to avoid other scam from your experience.
468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You think terrorist groups around the world use Cryptos as a means of payment? on: November 28, 2019, 07:00:20 AM
Of course they use it to gain some funds.
Terrorist groups would use anything just to gain funds for their operation and crypto has been popular to darknet before it even become popular in the surface web,
That is also a reason why people thinks that Bitcoin is a dirty money because it is used by the criminals for buying and selling in the black market.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Daily Living on: November 27, 2019, 10:13:20 AM
I only use crypto to buy some mobile loads and pay some of my bills if I feel lazy to go out.
I only use it if I don't have cash but I think it could be great if we could use it anywhere and if every seller or company would accept it.
This could save us when we have something we need or want but we don't have enough cash to buy it or pay for it.
And also it would help a lot specially for those who are only earning in crypto they don't need to convert it and withdraw it anymore less transaction fee.
470  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fun with Bitcoin (Jokes) , Also send some Merit if you like please on: November 27, 2019, 07:56:27 AM
A nice thread to view to have some good vibes we have to relax and have some fun sometimes and this is a good way to enjoy it, Sorry but I don't have any jokes to add up but great job OP.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If You Bought Bitcoin Each Week in 2019, You’d Be up 49% on: November 26, 2019, 09:24:38 AM
I would try to do it next year every time that I would have a spare money I would put it in Bitcoin and see how much I could get for a whole year.
This could be a great way to save some money for my future and for an emergency expenses.
472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Hit As Per The Experts Predictions? on: November 26, 2019, 08:31:45 AM
Don't wholly trust experts with their opinions when it comes to predictions based type. All of it could be just a hunch that they would have, and it's not 100% nothing is, especially when it comes to trading.

You didn't even have anything to show here on what the ”experts” are saying. What is the point of this thread?
I think OP is just trying to gather informations regarding to the number of people who truly believe's in TA's words.
But I also have the same feeling just like you TA's prediction is also just a  hunch and based on what they want .
And most of the time we could see that TA's prediction goes wrong so why bother listening to them?
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can do Governements against Satoshi ? on: November 26, 2019, 08:00:01 AM

Governements know who is the real one or fake one and he was to genius to be arrested or killed.
They think he forget everything and will never comeback to take his genesis coin, but he is still alive and happy but feeling like he got another thing to do, what you think if he comeback ?
How could you be so sure about it?
We couldn't be sure if the government knew who is the real Satoshi Nakamoto and if the person behind that name is still alive and healthy right now.
I just think that Satoshi leave's to focus on his/her battle to some kind of illness and we don't know if he/she made it .
474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be realistic for the world to run on cryptocurrencies? on: November 25, 2019, 09:51:02 PM
I think that it would only be a very small chance to happen.
Governments doesn't really like crypto currency since most of them are decentralized .
But if each and every country would create it's own crypto currency to replace Fiat then it could but the only problem is how would they do the transaction once a city faced some calamity and the electricity runs out?
475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 6 safety concerns? on: November 25, 2019, 09:03:16 PM
I think my only concern is the security of the hardware wallets.
Just imagine if those hardware wallets get penetrated then there is no such thing as a safe place for our crypto currency.
But other than that I think most of the problem is up to us to avoid just like scam it is our choice if we want to avoid it or be scammed most of us are too greedy that they would get scammed easily.
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever purchased bitcoins using eBay? on: November 25, 2019, 07:14:31 PM
I was browsing eBay and I see many sellers, who are selling bitcoin and altcoins.
I thought that eBay isn't crypto friendly, but the sellers, who are selling 24-hour btc mining contracts.
The fees are ridiculous. To buy 9USD worth of BTC,you have to pay 14USD via paypal.
It's weird that those people actually have sales.

I've never bought crypto on an online shop and I think no one would ever buy from that seller,
People could always buy from exchange and it is so easy and the worst part on online shop is there are some scammers so I would rather buy directly at an exchange rather than online shops.
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the right time to buy altcoin? on: November 24, 2019, 08:51:41 PM
It is a good time to buy since the market is down but only choose the alt-coin that you would buy because not all of them would also be pump up,
Some of the alt-coin could actually stay low and even end up without demand in the future,
So you should really choose carefully on which one you would invest in.
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Mobile Mining exists at all? on: November 24, 2019, 07:56:02 PM
Mining through mobile phones is just a waste of time and money.
Just imagine how much would it cost for one mobile phone and you would just use it to mine a cheap alt-coin that could also destroy your phone.
It isn't worth it I think even if you would mine daily you wouldn't be able to save money to buy a new phone before your mining phone get's destroyed.
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Government Could Shutdown Bitcoin? on: November 24, 2019, 06:46:09 PM
I read this article online that the government could stop the Bitcoin? Easily using a simple trick.
Making the bitcoin market price staying in under a 1000$ for a long time and wait for the people to lose interest in it.

For me, this is easier said than done, making the bitcoin market price lower than 1000$ would encourage investors to invest in bitcoin that will inevitably affect the market price.

What is your opinion about this? Could the government do this?

https://bitcoinist.com/bitcoin-could-be-stopped-by-governments-pretty-simply/
They could ban Bitcoin in their country but they could never shutdown Bitcoin.
And it isn't simple and easy how do you think they would make the price drop below $1,000 again?
And if it ever reach that low again do you really think that they could maintain it that way?
People would grab their chance to buy it back for sure.
480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It’s dying for the 378th time, so when’s the 379th? on: November 24, 2019, 05:25:01 PM
Bitcoin and leading cryptocurrency prices have taken a major hit over the last couple of days. As you might expect, there are no shortage of volunteers to deliver its last rites given the recent volatility.

Over the last 24 hours, Bitcoin has shed around $14 billion from its total market capitalization. This has brought the price down to around $7,180 at the time of writing.

Source link here

For the 378th time, Bitcoin is dying.

I’ve seen a lot of news over and over that “Bitcoin is dying for the XXX time”. I wish somebody from the press would actually have a different kind of headline such as “Bitcoin was resurrected for the 378th time”.

At the end of the day, you can’t kill Bitcoin. It may have died 378 times, but was resurrected 378 times as well.

It’s like we’re playing a Playstation “Bitcoin” game with Gameshark cheat codes enabling “Unlimited lives for Bitcoin”.

I can’t wait for Bitcoin to die (and resurrected) for the 379th time. Grin
LOL  Cheesy , Every time Bitcoin price drops down people are saying that it is dying,
I wonder how many more times we would hear it and when would people accept that the price of crypto also drops down.
This people only focus on the price increase of Bitcoin and easily panic when the price decline.
