461  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN ALTSEASON? are we waiting for nothing? on: October 30, 2019, 03:04:03 PM
Think it's 50/50. What about you?

No need to get the answer on your first question. That will only give you more frustration. Nobody can answer that accurately. If anybody gives you an answer, you will only expect. And that expectation will give you more disappointment because it will fail most probably. Be satisfied instead that the answer to your second question is a definite no. We are waiting for something bigger than the biggest record in the past. Just sit back for now and enjoy every single crypto day in your life.
462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Do We Still Have Legit Altcoin Bounties? on: October 30, 2019, 02:42:25 PM
I think there are still many bounty campaigns that have very good potential, you just need to be more active in participating in various bounty campaigns such as social media or YouTube content or blogs that can provide very good results from participating in various bounty campaigns in this forum.
completing in all bounty section will make us get more token or reward.we will get more usd although its price maybe drop in market.some people just working in one section only and it isnt give us maximum result.if each bounty have 5 section and we participate on all that ,meawhilewe work on many campaign it will give us lot of dollar too.

I applaud the people who are joining all bounty campaigns of a single project. To me, that is very risky. It is highly possible for a project these days not to pay the campaign participants. If that happens, all the efforts in signature posting, social media posting, article writing, video creation, and so on will go to waste. That is very disappointing. I won't recommend that. If you have that determination, you should join many projects to be safe.
463  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: October 30, 2019, 02:22:38 PM
There is no fix answer to this question. If you are good in day trading, why settle for long term? The most profitable way to earn more crypto apart from directly buying is day trading. But since the risk is high in day trading especially if your trading skills is below good, a lot of people are resorting to long term hodling, including me, although I day trade seldom. If you are not good, the answer would be long term hodling. If you are more than sure of your predictions, day trade is for you.
464  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to start: Daytrading? on: October 30, 2019, 01:52:20 PM
Top 3 things to look after?
Are tools recommended?
Thank you!

Yes, but that is not everything to day trading. When you say tools you are referring to tools that will help you come up with the best technical analysis possible such as fibonacci, RSI, etc right? They are all needed as guides. But more than these tools, you need to have the discipline to do fundamental research. I think fundamentals are even more important than technical analysis. Even if the charts are saying that the coming days are bearish, if the project has something really huge to announce, its coin's price will pump.
465  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What happen? on: October 30, 2019, 01:32:18 PM
There are 3 kinds of people in the world:
1. The kind that make things happen;
2. The kind that watch things happen;
3. The kind that wonder what happened.

Which kind is the largest part of the population?

Cool

The largest part of the population is the kind that does not know what is happening. And so there are more than 3 kinds of people in this planet. Sad to say that the biggest portion, probably more than 50% of the earth's population, are those who are not aware of the latest problems the earth is facing. These people are mostly hooked to their gadgets, to monitoring the latest shows and fashions, to sharing gossips, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. And these people may not even be aware that there is such a thing as climate. We're not even talking of climate change.
466  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Promoting ICO scams on: October 30, 2019, 01:12:29 PM
It turned out that the truth was very astonishing. In fact it all ends with money, everything needs and only for money. Yes indeed, in 2017 everyone can make their tokens easily. This happens because the price of bitcoin is soaring that they are competing to make profits by making coins.

It is always all about money, money, money, and money. Laws, standards, qualifications, restrictions, policies, and all will be set aside if money takes into the picture. When money is at the center stage, most principles will have to retreat in the farthest corners. That is what happened to sites such as CMC, exchanges, crypto review sites, and even the SEC. Shame on them all.
467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good website or source for price predictions on: October 30, 2019, 12:51:28 PM
Does all this price prediction still work? In my opinion i guess they are just hype meant to lure traders into trading a particular coin so that the price predictors will dump on them. To be safe its better to learn trading for yourself,  every trader should equip his/her self wirh good knowledge of trading so to be able to make the right call in respect to crypto trading

It is good if you have a good source of prediction but if your source is not really good, you are indeed better off doing it for yourself. There are indeed people who are expert in TAs. Even if they are not 100% accurate, at least they can hit more than 60% of the time. But if your source is always failing in his prediction, you may learn chart analysis yourself and become better in it than a lot of those self-acclaimed trading gurus.
468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Technical Analysis, Fundamental Analysis and Manipulation Analysis on: October 30, 2019, 04:25:05 AM
Manipulation is part of trading, not just cryptocurrency trading of course but also forex and stocks. And this will not be removed since there will always be traders who are richer than others. There will always be individual traders as there are also institutional traders that are hiring the experts in the field. The most lucky thing that will happen is when you get the perfect timing and be able to buy when the whales are doing the same and get to sell when the whales are also selling. But this not happening always. You cannot read all the strategies of these whales.
469  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins to go crazy again once Bitcoin reaches 20k? on: October 30, 2019, 03:54:25 AM
Definitely it might happen and once the price reach it more than the all time high price then altcoins will follow up and we need to make sure that we have a target price sincr it might plummet right away and surely investors and traders will sell off their altcoins.

Having a stop-loss is a good idea and we will know when the price will stop to trade and buyback once it goes dip.

It can be seen in the general movements of the charts. Once Bitcoin will reach beyond its all-time high, be very vigilant because it might be the cue for its price to return to the lower level. Once the line takes a u-turn, be quick enough to shift to altcoins. That must be the perfect time for the altcoins to shine after Bitcoin has. And when Bitcoin once again takes the u-turn from the correction or when the altcoins themselves have reached their all-time high, shift to Bitcoin again.
470  Economy / Economics / Re: So much for cashless society: cash is gaining in popularity on: October 30, 2019, 03:24:08 AM
Paper cryptocurrency sounds more of a joke to me than a serious suggestion or proposal. A paperless society has been advocated since decades ago. This is both an advocacy that calls for the protection of trees or nature in general and the advancement of technology. Paper money is inefficient, inconvenient, and not dependable at all. It could be lost, misplaced, torn, destroyed by water, and so many other reasons for it to be less than efficient compared to its digital version.
471  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin freelancing is dead? on: October 30, 2019, 02:58:28 AM
I don't see that the bitcoin freelancing is dead because as we can see there is a bounty and signature campaigns in which we can say that it is a bitcoin freelancing because we are working in exchange of a bitcoin and we can see that bitcoin freelancing is any job that is paid by bitcoin and other coins, so we can say that bitcoin freelancing is not dead because until now there is a job that is paid by bitcoin.

And how many campaigns out there that are being paid with Bitcoin? There are only a handful. And these jobs are actually bounty related. It may still be considered a freelancing job. However, I want to see more of freelancing jobs such as article writing, SEOs, programming, virtual assistance, and so many more that will be paying in Bitcoin. There was a time when projects were created on the freelancing industry. But they seemed to be faring less than good.
472  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoiners on here have actually used bitcoin/crypto for commerce? on: October 30, 2019, 02:35:05 AM
I sometimes use crypto in paying bills, sending money, or paying my other crypto friends whenever I run out of cash. There is no sense of saving it if you are running out of cash to spend to. But, if you can buy something using fiat and if you can save your crypto, then it is better to use fiat since crypto has a chance to pump anytime and it has a great long term potential.

It seems the most common use of Bitcoin or cryptocurrency is on paying bills and using it for remittance. That is also how I use my Bitcoin or cryptocurrency. I also made use of Bitcoin and other altcoins in gambling or buying in online shops, although I admit that I very seldom use Bitcoin in shopping online. I admit that I only use it when there is no other option left but to use it. Mostly through BitPay. Other than that, I keep my Bitcoin in my safe wallet.
473  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Tide Lifting All Altcoins Boats on: October 30, 2019, 02:14:03 AM
The Bitcoin tide has lifted all altcoins boats today, but Bitcoin SV (BSV) price was gaining even when the sea was all red. Anyone knows why?

I have no idea. Perhaps it is being pumped by the loyal supporters of Bitcoin SV to send the message to the crypto community that they are the real Bitcoin and when Bitcoin is pumping their coin will also be pumping. Or perhaps because there are many people who are falling to their trap believing that it is the real Bitcoin, made some purchase of Bitcoin SV, and ended up realizing that their Bitcoin is not the real Bitcoin because there is an SV at the end of it.
474  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Support Or Have You Supported A Coin That Makes A Comeback on: October 30, 2019, 01:52:45 AM
We have thousands of coins in the market right now, and thousands of them are dead coins do you have a coin that you've supported than turn dead and making a comeback, and will you support a coin that you've invested and become a dead coin and making a comeback.
mine was Xtrabyte it becomes a deadcoin, but adopted by a new developer and it becomes profitable.

Xtrabyte in this case is just one in a million. There are already countless of tokens that died and then tried to recover by tweaking some features but still did not make it. There are others that rebranded their projects in the hope of getting a fresher start but still ended up dead once again. Some others are taken over by other companies. Most of them still ended up in the grave. I won't trust my money to coins that are trying to make a comeback. In the first place, they already failed.
475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China's President Xi Jinping said, Blockchain is vital for China’s future. on: October 29, 2019, 01:57:44 PM
President Xi Jinping in his Thursday speech said, Blockchain is vital for China’s future. Following this statement, the Chinese tech share prices surged.

Read here: https://coinpedia.org/news/xis-accelerated-blockchain-adoption-pumps-chinese-shares/

There is already a full and long bandwagon because of this. There is widespread effect because of the pronouncements of the president. A lot of chinese businessmen are joining the crowd and buy Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, especially chinese projects. The prices are surging high because of this. I hope this will be sustainable though. It might be short-lived because the basis is a simple announcement of support for blockchain and not cryptocurrency itself.
476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DX token heading top 100 target. on: October 29, 2019, 01:20:40 PM
Last week I mentioned about DX token and if worth entering at that point in time. I did with faith even though I am no trading guru but i have been following token for some time and had done over 120% since past 3 months. Team is very good and token has real use cases.

Dxchain Network recently launched mainnet alpha while proposed to launch mainnet in Q4 2019. You want to check it out at https://dxchain,comand see current price at https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/dxchain-token/

NB: I am not offering investment advice as you have every right and time to do your own research.

Is DX token already in coinmarketcap? I searched for it and I did not find it. If that is really a great token to buy and have already grown more than double in the last 3 months, it should already have been listed in coinmarketcap. A good project takes no time for their token to get listed on coinmarketcap. They know the value of being listed there. Or is it already listed on major exchanges? Does it have a nice volume?
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: So many altcoins on: October 29, 2019, 12:45:54 PM
I do not know how this works and is managed. If all this is basically without control, then the future of the cryptocurrency world looks vague. However, this is interesting, because in addition to the expected collapse, there may be unexpected surprises.

Those slightly smaller texts are more interesting than the bigger ones. The absence of control is itself the reason why the future of cryptocurrency looks clear. The future of fiat is vague because it is under control. By whom? By the elites, so few of them, controlling the rest of the population. It is a problem when money is in the hands of the few, the creation, control, supply, etc. It is less dangerous if money is out of control of everyone. What is needed is the money, decentralized, under no one's control.
478  Economy / Economics / Re: What makes a Fiat worthless? on: October 29, 2019, 11:13:23 AM
We have come across so many national currency becoming worthless and recently we have heard the news of barter system in Zimbabwe due to the fall in the value of national currency but what really makes the Fiat worthless? Is it corruption or war or national economical crisis? Or the National GDP which makes it fall?
I could say that Fiat is really worthless in cases like Zimbabwe that their national currency became so useless that most of their savings was destroyed and left them bartering for daily needs due to inflation, that is why governments should prevent this kind of incident because it is not good for the economy and individuals.
That's because their country's economy is hit by inflation, which makes their currency lose value. The government must be able to limit the circulation of currencies so that inflation does not occur. If you use Cryptocurrency, we will be safe from inflation.

The problem with fiat is that it is mainly governed by greed and double standards. I can even imagine of a fiat system that could work in the long term and is more or less sustainable. However, the current fiat system is marred by a lot of controversies such as overprinting and the like. Crypto is not on that kind because it is not governed by anyone or anything except mathematics which is always accurate and right.
479  Economy / Economics / Re: JUST IN: Chinese Central Bank to Launch Digital Currency Called "DCEP" on: October 29, 2019, 10:38:38 AM
Now that Chinese Government is boldly showing their development in issuing the world’s first state-backed digital currency, will other countries follow the same path? What could be its implications to Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies?

It is not only china that is interested to launch its own government-backed digital currency. But for now, china is the one that is very vocal about it. Or it might be that the news publications are very interested about the development in china more than in other countries. This is not china's original move. The appreciation of blockchain is already voiced by a lot of countries.

If china will finally release its state-backed digital currency, those who own china-based or chinese-controlled tokens should be worried a little. They cannot compete a coin which has the backing of state itself.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins for 2020? on: October 29, 2019, 10:17:55 AM
Which would be the best and most preferred altcoins to invest in the year 2020?

It was Ethereum and Ripple for the year 2017 and 2018/2019 had been bearish without any particular altcoins to be preferred we have seen almost all the altcoins going through bloodbath except few exchange tokens like BNB but which will be the most profitable altcoins for 2020? Will it Ethereum again or some other altcoins like litecoin or BCH or Ripple?
Eth will be the best choice for many on here and even new developers too, its same for me and i am looking forward to the next 2.0 upgrade with the staking ability, i bet it will be good, there are other good coins and tokens as well but you got to do researches yourself to find answers

Same here. I stick to my old choices of altcoins. Ethereum is of course on the top of my list. Many are saying negative things about Ethereum. But after Bitcoin, is there any other altcoin that comes better than Ethereum? I would say there is none. I will not even count those altcoins that are claiming to be better than Bitcoin but cannot even make it to the top 100. Aside from Ethereum, there is always Monero, Litecoin, and Waves.
