Something to think about: The input used to find those blocks would never have been used if you were solo mining.

I just recently switched to Slush's pool, literally 20 minutes ago with my KNC miner. My miner stats page and cgminer says I'm hashing at 280Gh/s, but on Slush's pool profile page I'm only seeing 166381.1 Mh/s which is only 166Gh/s, right?
Where is the missing hash rate going?
How long the block has been running affects the reported hashrate. It won't be correct until a new block is started.

Has anyone received their october rigs yet? The month is ending fast...
I got my Oct. H boards yesterday, does that count?

USB Hub Fuses
Well, I screwed up. In the 2nd box of hubs, I found a plastic bag of fuses. Now going back into the first box of hubs (where I never found any), I found another bag of fuses, UNDER the bottom cardboard flap. Fuses are being sent out to all orders that have already been shipped.
That's funny. Can you tell me what the current rating is on them. Probably just a number on the top of it. Thanks, Sam 40 is on the top, and one of the metal pins says 32V. Damn. 40 amp fuses, i'm surprised that it is that high.

I'd suggest avoiding Bitcoin as a gift unless they are already into it or are very curious. Considering the difficulty in finding somewhere to spend it or to convert it to fiat, it will most likely become lost coins and not really be appreciated.

Ask Trillium, he's good at this stuff. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) I kind of shoot from the hip. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

As I understand the versions:
V1 h-boards have the caps. V2 h-boards don't. Both fit either V1 or V2 m-boards.
V3 h-boards fit V-3 m-boards only due to the polarized connector.
The other boards that have been mentioned 8 chip, etc. haven't been given official version numbers yet.
See, i forgot about the cap mod. this is why the store is going to have to clearly state which is which. Us meer mortals can't keep up with it.

too large a fuse and there is no sense in having a fuse. Fuses are protection against bad things happening. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

I'd try a 10 amp fuse myself. Worst that can happen is it will blow right away. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

Trying to keep these version numbers strait is gonna be a pain. Hopefully, Dave will keep it all straight in the store. hmmm... maybe we need a V2 to V1 H board adapter, and vica versa?

Bitcoin won't start to deflate until the last bitcoin is mined. ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif)

When do you think the difficulty will level off, allowing people to actually grow their operations, rather than just playing catchup? Never? everytime someone adds to their hashrate, they are diminishing someone elses. If you grow your operation you will shrink someone elses, they will in turn grow theirs to make up for their loss, thus shrinking yours again. ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif)

Really? BFGminer? no CGminer? Why couldn't you guys make these compatible with existing Mining software instead of requiring the software to be changed to suit your device?
|
|
|
hmmm... a thought. if people stopped mining and just bought Bitcoins instead, the demand for Bitcoins would go up causing the exchange rate to go up. So people who no longer mine may still be trying to get people to stop mining for their own profit. ![Cool](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cool.gif)

Has any one considered the mess these will make of your CGminer display? I've got 56 on one computer and even at 8 point(linux terminal) and the window the full length of the screen i can't display them all. I just use compact display and watch for green lights every now and then. as long as the display scrolls every now and then i'm content. I can't imagine running 100 on one computer. Also, with every increase in difficulty the blink rate decreases ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) No more xmas lites. : ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Don't get me wrong, this is tongue in cheek. I'm not against these. But at this point they require a special type of Miner to own them.

You might want to start by just running 40 per... I'll need a couple of these once they're available separately - I already have plenty of BE's - don't need 40 more with each hub. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Its a plot to make us buy more erupters! ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)
