462  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market Goes Down and Down on: June 30, 2018, 03:02:06 PM
it is currently the market continues to decline but I think it's normal in the trading market, the price of coin in the market often increased and decreased

For now, as a traders we really need to be wise and careful in choosing decision, even the market was totally in red market. Though its a normal

things in trading industry like this where most of the coins are really terrible for the other traders but the things is not of course. Just hold on

tight and be patience on waiting.. Smiley
463  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KYC for Airdrops: A bad precedence on: June 30, 2018, 02:41:11 PM
I have recently seen where bounty hunters were asked to present identifying documents.  Am really against kyc because one of the reasons I joined crypto was the anonymity which it provides. But sadly that's gently creeping away.

Now this KYC has come into airdrops. Imagine am to submit my ID to some I don't know which planet he or she or they are from for some pennies worth tokens.

It's terrible and this is a bad precedence these people are setting.

If as a community we do not say no to this,  then it would become the norm.

With just a small amount of we/you can get from their airdrop they will require participants to pass KYC, you've gonna be kidding me, that's not

right anymore, perhaps no more will join or partake of any airdrops if that things will be apply or implement. I would rather join in other bounty

program which I know is much more higher income I could get rather to join in airdrops.

Callisto Network Cold Staking Protocol

Cold staking is a protocol that rewards long-term coin holders for holding their coins.

Cold Staking is not related to Proof of Stake. It is not a consensus mechanism. Cold stakers has no rights in blocks generation or transaction confirming. They just receive interest for holding their coins.

Calisto NEWS!

Decentralized File Storage of Callisto

The InterPlanetary File System
IPFS attempts to address the deficiencies of the client-server model and HTTP web through a  p2p protocol file sharing system. IPFS is an open-source project created by Protocol Labs, an R&D lab for network protocols and former Y Combinator startup. There are some main component of IPFS systems:

With the Distributed Hash Table, nodes can store & share data without central coordination
IPNS allows exchanged data to be instantly pre-authenticated and verified using public key cryptography.
The Merkle DAG enables uniquely identified, tamper-resistant and permanently stored data
You can access past versions of edited data via the Version Control System
IPFS provides high throughput, low latency, data distribution. It is also decentralized and secure. This opens up several interesting and exciting use cases. It can be used to deliver content to websites, globally store files with automatic versioning & backups, facilitate secure file sharing and encrypted communication.

Callisto File System solves a problem of independent and securely storing an archive of security audit reports. The main purpose of this file system is to provide an opportunity to upload, store and view security audit reports, independently from any third-party services. At the same time, the Callisto file system enables users to store custom files in a distributed storage maintained by elected Callisto IPFS-host-nodes. The system can be scaled depending on demand.

Callisto file system relies on CallistoFS.sol core smart-contract (https://github.com/Dexaran/Callisto-file-system/blob/master/CallistoFS.sol ). A user can create a link to the IPFS file name by invoking the upload() (https://github.com/Dexaran/Callisto-file-system/blob/master/CallistoFS.sol#L21 ) function of the smart-contract and providing a refundable deposit in CLO. Then the user should upload the file to one of IPFS-host-nodes. Once the FileUpload (https://github.com/Dexaran/Callisto-file-system/blob/master/CallistoFS.sol#L18 ) event have been emitted, each host-node should verify the file and replicate it if the payment condition is met. A file is guaranteed to be stored until the deposit for the file is at the contract. A user can withdraw the deposit at any time. After the deposit has been withdrawn, file storage is no longer guaranteed.

Each elected IPFS-host-node will receive a monthly salary for maintaining the storage. If one of the nodes does not work correctly, fails to provide a file or maintains a bad connection, then another node can be elected to replace it. IPFS-host-nodes can receive different salaries depending on the quality, volume of their storage and statistics of processed requests. For each node, an individual Treasury Proposal must be created and the decision for electing/removing a node is separately made by Cold Stakers.

The amount of storage available per CLO is determined using the Bancor algorithm that maintains a Constant Reserve Ratio (CRR) of 10. A CRR means that the storage will never be completely consumed, as the price (locked CLO per megabyte) will rise as free capacity shrinks.

Price = Balance / (Supply * CRR)

Where:

Balance is the total amount of storage consumed
Supply is the total amount of storage the host-nodes physically have
CCR is the constant (10 in EOS and CLO)

One of the unique features of #Callisto is Cold Staking. What's the difference between $CLO Cold Staking and Masternodes?

You can read and check this one:

One of the unique features of Callisto is the ability to earn interest on held funds through a process called cold staking. In essence, with cold staking you are lending your funds to the network on a short-term basis and rewarded with Callisto, proportionate to the period of time you stake your funds and the amount of CLO in the reward pool, funded by the Callisto treasury. The process is governed by a simple smart contract, where the required parameters are length of staking period and amount of Callisto to be staked. The exact return is determined by the period in which you are staking your funds, and the amount Callisto in the network staking fund at the time the reward is claimed (as opposed to when the contract is executed). The minimum staking period is one month, and this can be rolled over to continue collecting dividends on staked funds. This allows holders of Callisto to effortlessly earn a return on their holdings if they do not immediately need to liquidate their Callisto, and provides distinct advantages over running a master node, or similar fiat instruments, such as certificates of deposits or savings bonds (more on this later). Other blockchain networks offer similar returns through master nodes; a more technically involved proposal that requires the staker to host a master node on the network, typically requiring a relatively large investment both in terms of the underlying crypto and the hardware needed to host the master node.

Callisto Network: Cryptocurrency Platform Based on the Ethereum Protocol, CLO review by  @blockonomi

Callisto Network aims to boost ecosystem security by improving the methods for developing smart contracts and to implement experimental protocols. These protocols combine core features within smart contracts with merged protocol-level configuration. Callisto Network is designed so it is possible to use built-in mechanisms like smart contracts to implement key features of the platform. Additionally, the Callisto Network hopes to define as well as standardize the protocol used for reference implementation with a governance system, built-in cold staking, and a funding mechanism for development, all based on smart contracts.

The main goal of the network is to create a well-researched reference implementation of a blockchain ecosystem as well as a self-funded, self-governed, and self-sustaining development environment.

Hi There,

A lots of bounty campaign are running now, But i can't find a good bounty to go through. Please suggest me some good bounty campaign. I wanna work some good bounty not scam or fail bounty  Embarrassed Sad Please help me by suggesting good bounties.

Thank You everyone.
For me joining in signature campaign and translation bounty is the best things to earn here in my opinion. But there are other categories to choose in like

Facebook, twitter, telegram, blog, content creation, reddit, and more. and yet it is still in your hand to feel if the campaign is good but as much as possible

to the bounty campaign that has a good allocation budget for the project they offer, and the team or Campaign manager has a good reputation.
477  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: search for signature campaigns on: June 16, 2018, 11:52:50 PM
hello friends, i want to find information about signature campaigns. are there any suggestions from friends to join a signature campaign that starts this week.
I am not looking for many prizes, just looking for a signature campaign that is not a scam.
tell me if you know.

Well, if you are choosing a signature campaign, probably the campaign manager who has a green trust is an advantage for you to find out that the

campaign is not a scam, like Aviruness, blockeye, but not mandatory it is still there is other signature even don't have that green trust still good to be

trust for. Just check their road map, whitepaper, and budget allocation for the project.
478  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My $36,000 Invesment Turned Out Now $12,000 - Still Holding on: June 16, 2018, 11:13:25 PM
I know how people feel, those who invested in December or January like me, who fell love with crypto, and the way price was going up, never believed I have to see market cap under $250 billion. However, Everyday I check my Black folio app, I feel sick in my stomach. Sometimes I feel what I have done? But i knew there was a risk, i knew, I could lose money, but I couldn't control my rush of blood, seeing people buying right and left whatever they could.

But my question to all those investors, do you believe in crypto? If you do then hold tight because good days will come, if you are not in need an emergency cash, then hold your coin, It can't be red all days, it will be green. have some faith in this industry. I know it's hard seeing the bloodbath, what's happening, but we will rise again.

Even though I lost 70% of my portfolio, I'm still holding because I know good days are coming soon. Good luck guys.

Well, my current holdings are.

1. NEO
2. LISK
3. XLM
4. MCO
5. BAT
6. POWR
7. WABI
8. START
9. WTC
10. RPX

I know how you feel, but you need to understand everything in this industry particularly in crypto world are unpredictable. Everything that unexpected will be happen, but we need to patience even we think that we've lost a big amount but still believe the impossible things to be happens.  Due to like you I believed that everything will be fine sooner or later.
479  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins You Think will Grow on: June 16, 2018, 07:03:08 PM
I think the majority of the legit altcoins will grow in 2018, but my top picks are WePower, VeChain and EZToken.

Well, I suppose your right about your prediction dude. But we don't know what will happen tomorrow actually, isn't? It maybe when bitcoin goes up again

perhaps some or few of the altcoins will going to increase then like Bitcoin such as Ethereum, Waves, Utk, Tky, Adex, syncfab, and other's.
480  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Leaving Your Job is The Worst Idea on: June 16, 2018, 06:56:36 PM
I ever heard that people choose to quit their job for doing some crypto job. Whether it is trading, mining, or bounty. But I think that's the worst idea. Maybe they think that kind job like that can earn many profit but they doesn't looking at the risk and keep do it. Look at the market, they stay red and it will hard to get profit from investing or trading. GPU price is more expensive as well as a lot of capital to be spent when starting mining. Also Bounty Hunter has bad condition right now with too many SCAM ICO which caused some of them just wasted their time and doesn't earn anything.

How they can earn money for daily need if only depends on the crypto?

I don't think leaving your job is the worst idea, because before I went here in this industry I was employed under by the government. But I never regret

for the decision which I made to choose focusing myself on doing crypto to gain bitcoin. Because being a part of the bounty hunter in this industry it was

not an easy from the start but after a few months only I surpass my wages as an employee when I earned here a huge amount.
