4601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: June 25, 2020, 12:03:38 PM
I agree that Djokovic,  Ivanisevic, Cilic and others had great idea behind the Adria tour,  they wanted to help others but they didn’t understand how serious is situation with coronavirus and didn't protect players and fans enough.
Now, after everything what happened in the Adria tournament  who knows what will happen with other tennis tournaments and tennis season this year.
It was a total disaster and no one was tested and social distancing was out of the equation and the videos have surfaced that everyone was having a good time partying neglecting the fact that the virus is still rampant if you are careful and now everyone is blaming Djokovic. With the incident we need to ensure a standard protocol to test everyone participating in the event if not these mishaps will repeat.
We have some good start in sports after nearly 100 days break and soccer is going on successfully but sadly in tennis we have some serious trouble as many players tested positive because they was not serious about this all they must have to be models for others but they not adopted all rules and now feeling some serious problems hopefully they all will recover and we will able to have them in tennis court in near future.

The worst thing is the fact that the tennis players have met hundreds of people and that they are all now in fear of being infected, including a lot of children.
Should it be mentioned how this event will resonate in the foreign media and how it will affect the local tourist season?
Worst of all, some of the tennis players still do not accept their responsibility for what happened, so I hear that Bulgarian tennis player Dimitrov claims that none of the organizers asked him to be tested for coronavirus and the organizers say that he refused testing as many as three times.

Both Dimitrov and Djokovic don't really take responsibility, they have both made huge mistakes. I wouldn't be surprised if some sponsors of Dimitrov/Djokovic drop out because of this events.
I think you can really organize tournaments in a safe way; doing better than the Adria tour is not really difficult  Grin

-snip

I already cashed out a few coins when the price was at a all-time-high ($18 000+) and made a very good profit on those coins. Any investment portfolio are divided into low/medium/high risk categories and you set aside a budget for each. This Freebitco.in deposit is part of my high risk portfolio ...so I made room for failure, if this site goes down with my deposit.

I do not have a set price target for selling coins.... I just wait for a price explosion and then I sell a few.. then I buy in low again. (normal trading practice)

Every person has their own strategy and risk management... so I am not saying my strategy will work for everyone. If you are scared of risk or if you cannot manage the risk... stay away from this strategy.  Wink

I can understand what you are saying, like you say: everybody has his own strategy and if it works for you, than you need to stick with it.
I realised that I best only invest in low/medium risk investments as some high risk investments have gone wrong...

Even for the low/medium risk investments, I have set up a price target to always take profit.
4603  Economy / Speculation / Re: Buying the dips: do you have a specific criteria? on: June 24, 2020, 06:20:07 PM
There is a general saying in the stock market that "time in the market beats market timing" however it is difficult to really apply this to BTC.
I just set in several buyorders (at 8000$ - 7000$ - 6000$) and also sell orders. Everybody has him own strategy, but this one is working for me (so far).
4604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why did dogecoin survive? on: June 24, 2020, 06:10:19 PM
Even though it is considered as a joke cryptocurrency, I still like dogecoin. Fast transactions, low fees and you can use it at many casinos.
Community is still active and supporting the project.

Djokovic 's first statement : I'm terribly sorry, I had the best intentions.
After Dimitrov tested positive, chances were high that also Djokovic would test positive.
He may have had the best intentions, but how stupid can you be? He acted as corona didn't existed and this is the sad result.
I wasn't a fan of Djokovic and after this, I will never become it. But also the other players who participated have acted like a fool (Dimitrov, Troicki, Zverev,...)

I really believe Djokovic had the best intentions in mind when he started this project, after all he has put a lot of his own money to start it. There was a lot of mistakes in organization but that is not all his fault. Same fault lies with venues and local tennis associations. They are the ones that organized all the details locally.

If we are pointing fingers to tennis players, then Dimitrov is the one with biggest share of guilt in this situation. He came from USA, one of the countries with biggest corona problem, and never got tested. He was even asked to take a test few times and he declined, 2 times in Zadar and probably even in Serbia. He was feeling out of breath for few days while he continued to play and party, WTF.  Of course, that could all be lies or headlines to make more money but I believe at least some of the mentioned stuff is true.

I do believe that Djokovic had the best intentions, but than organise everything in a safe way. Don't organise basketgames or parties without any social distancing.
Dimitrov is indeed the main person to blame, he didn't want to take the test and continued playing and participating at activities when feeling sick...

What I don't get is that none of the players really cared about social distancing and stuff. What were they thinking?

Yes, there is definitely a trend where some people deposit a large amount of coin and then they wait for the 4%+ interest every day to gamble with the sites money and not their own.

Huh? The 4% interest is actually annually. Once a year  Smiley

If you have enough bitcoins to deposit on Freebitco.in, you can gamble for FREE on the daily interest.  Wink

For 1 btc deposit onto the site, you are getting around 0.011% daily so around 11,000 satoshi interest daily. So is this a good amount daily to gamble for FREE ? Depends.

If you are a small time gambler, this should be sufficient for quench your thirst to roll some dust bet but if you own 1 btc or even larger amount then this might not be as good as it sounds .

Bottom line : Dont risk your 1 btc into a site to get 11,000 satoshi daily. This is not a bank, keep only what you can afford to lose on the site. Things can always go south

Quote
Daily interest will be calculated at a random time everyday @ 0.0109589% per day and rounded down to the nearest satoshi.

Yea, there are risk and also reward. You can decide what you want to do with your BTC. I bought a few bitcoins when the price was $300+ back in the day, so I am playing around with some of those on sites like this. No use having them all in cold storage and not doing anything with them and just waiting for the price to rise.

Also... you do not have to gamble every day.. if you gamble like I do, then you will skip a few days and use the accumulated amount over the weekend for instance. You would not have touched your own coins and you have a opportunity to increase it.  Wink

There are no guarantees in life, but not risking anything will never bring any huge rewards. My motto : It is better to burn out, than to fade away.  Grin

Why don't you cash out already a couple of these bitcoins to use in real life? Do you have a plan at which prive level you will sell these?
I know it is fun and addictive to gamble, but you could loose all. Happened to me once, so now I only gamble with very very low amounts  Smiley.

4609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Thoughts on Braver browser? on: June 23, 2020, 04:57:02 PM
Does anyone know how much profit can be made from that browser?

I don't think it's enough to get you to use a site, it's more like a bitcoin facets, right?

And then what is the development that this browser does, all the good features can be done with a small team of developers,
Just block ads is the unique feature that they offer, the rest of the things are a compilation of some features.
I think they want to achieve profits quickly and the last thing that matters to them is the protection of privacy.

will remove it.

Some real life stats (I am from Belgium).
I earned a whopping 1 BAT in may and in june I already earned 0.3 BAT. So rewards are very small, but maybe a bit more than bitcoin faucets.
Probably you will earn more if you are from a Tier 1 country.
4610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Thoughts on Braver browser? on: June 22, 2020, 06:05:45 PM
i have a feeling that a very large percentage (like maybe 90%) of those who have ever used Brave browser have been using it because of its (micro) earning potential not its promise of privacy. that is why things like KYC, lack of privacy in design and a lot of other crap they pulled didn't bother their users and has not dropped the number of people who are still using it.
it is the same as all those who keep going back to faucets and use them even though it is terrible for their privacy, security and it harms them when it comes to paying fees for all the dust they've accumulated.

I agree 100%. Sometime ago, I also downloaded it and like 90-95% of the people, I did it mainly for the rewards. They do have however some nice extra features such as the built-in ad blocker, tor, faster speed compared to Chrome. But I stopped using Brave, because the rewards are too low and I don't want to do KYC with Uphold for a couple of bucks.

I don't see many people who will use Braver browser. Project is doomed.
4611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Chess on Sports/eSports betting on: June 22, 2020, 05:35:41 PM
I like playing chess, but watching it is quite boring. One match can take several hours and sometimes it can take up to 1 hour before a player makes a move.
I know some betting platform where you can bet on chess (but they do not accept cryptos).
4612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: New Event at ♠️♥️ PeerGame.com ♦️♣️ No Signup Crypto Casino on: June 22, 2020, 05:33:17 PM
Design of the site is not bad, but the site is slow loading (could also be my computer  Wink).

If you ever want to become a popular site: add much more games (casino slots are always popular). Also accepts more cryptos (such as bitcoin, dogecoin, litecoin).
What is the house edge?

Positive points:
 - no fees when cashing out
 - daily quest event which can give a nice bonus

This type of matches will lead also for a rule change also in "classic" tennis?

No! But more of such games will be played in future. Take a simple example of cricket. Earlier, we used to have only test match and one day match. Now once IPL started, people loved the short excitement and adrenaline rush within the 20 overs match and it quickly became popular.

Nowadays, test matches have become almost extinct but 20 over matches have become a new norm for cricket. Similar thing would happen in Tennis as well. Long matches will be pushed to extinction and short format matches will become a new norm!

For cricket this format can work, but I hope for tennis this doesn't become the new norm. I am pro long tennis matches of 4-5h because often these matches are very good. Every year I visit Roland Garros (except this year  Grin) and I always hope to see long tennis matches if the play is good (which is often the case).

The same for Shootout in Snooker, a very short format to make it more popular but it simply doesn't work.
4614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is the best welcome offer for you? on: June 21, 2020, 05:18:13 PM
It would be some free spins/games.
But not the ones with a catch where you can't win anything, real deal, as if i was actually putting my money in.
Win a jackpot with that, sure, treat it as any other legit bet.

The problem with the free spins is that you need often to wager the amount you won (up to 30x - 40x). To my knowledge, there is no casino that gives cash free spins without any requirements?
If there is, I would gladly to try it out  Smiley.
4615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: "New Sport": Ultimate Tennis Showdown on: June 21, 2020, 02:52:49 PM
I am not a fan of this concept and almost all the rules seem stupid to me.
I can understand that you want to try out something new, but this is clearly not the right direction. There is also not a lot of animo for this concept as not many bookmakers offer bets on this tournament.
4616  Economy / Gambling / Re: BADCOGAMING.COM - Best Erotic Casinos on: June 21, 2020, 02:40:14 PM
I don't really see the benefit of naked girls dealing hands... I can understand why these casino sites would be popular (especially for men  Grin), but I would never play on these sites.
If I play in the casino, I don't want to be distracted.
4617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earn and save in Satoshi on: June 21, 2020, 02:34:57 PM
I agree enough to collect bitcoin and altcoins so that can become a way to become rich. If we buy cryptocurrency feels heavy,
can be collected little by little. We can buy crypto from 10% of our income or salary every month, do it consistently for 5 years.
See the results, you will be surprised.

Collecting good quality alts are very possible to earn huge money if you'll going to hold longer, instead of playing with the pump and dump when trends play around you, looking for future developments, and if how  the teams are working behind gives you good chance to follow which projects are good for long term investment, Storing both bitcoin and some other alts and wait till the market experienced another bull run gives your investment a huge benefits.

The problem is finding the right alts. There are many promising altcoins with good teams but still 95% of them will end as scam or become completely worthless.
I am now much more focused towards bitcoin than I was in the past, because of the dominance of bitcoin. A lot of altcoins are still 70-90% lower than there ATH and probably a lot of them will never reach that value again.
4618  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [Unofficial] Coinpot.co - new microwallet on: June 20, 2020, 06:20:22 PM

Ah well , it was good while it lasted , i never did have any referrals anyway , nobody i know wants to claim tinys amounts of crypto everyday . So the 100% mystery bonus was a bonus .

What this ransom attack and Coinpots response has shown me,  is kind of what i already thought , Coinpot is not some flaky scam outfit . It is truly dedicated to giving away tiny amounts of crypto , all day , every day , through advertising revenue .

exactly, thats all that a faucet is really
and coinpot exists to make it easier to collect those tiny amounts together into slightly less tiny amounts! and finally withdraw...or gamble away!

their new statistics page is mind-blowing, just shows how much activity goes through that site each day
over 4 million faucet claims per day (across all their faucets) and over 4 BILLION multiplier rolls per day!!!
that is just crazy - over 50,000 rolls every second  Shocked
no wonder there are so many complaints here when they are offline for a short time

The stats they have are amazing! I think they are number 2 in activity after freebitco.in.
I am still of fan: nice concept, low payout, easy to claim. Biggest disadvantage is the non existence of support.
4619  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John McAfee 2020 Prediction on: June 20, 2020, 06:14:51 PM
Is there still anyone who really trusts McAfee? He has hyped alot of (shit)coins, created a buzz around it so the price would pump and than sold everything to make a big profit of it... Thanks to him, many investors have lost a lot of money. Personally, I stay far away from all the coins that McAfee recommends.
4620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What you don't know about Technical Analysis on: June 20, 2020, 06:10:21 PM
I can understand what you are saying, but I will never be a fan of technical analysis. With graphs and lines you can prove anything. But you will have people who are pro TA and people who are against.
I haven't met anyone, who can make accurate analysis and predictions based on technical analysis.
