4601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: December 30, 2020, 12:49:20 PM
Have had my submission for this multimasters done since it was released about 24 hours ago.
Even before the sidebet was mentioned by buwaytress I might have had a reason to pick 6 draws to have it over 10 million. Cheesy
Here is my screenshot:

Once again, this is the format we will be using for this week's competition to be eligible for the side bet portion of the contest.
Thanks goes to buwaytress for his generosity and good luck to everyone who participates! Smiley
4602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: December 30, 2020, 05:05:58 AM
^^
From what I understood the correct picks is what shows who won also used for a tiebreaker if it happens and to declare a winner if it does come down to it.
The odds would be the most important thing though so the highest wins. Wink

The new multimasters is out for this week and to kick off a brand new year (thank the gods! Grin ):
4603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RTX 3080 hashrate drop list on: December 27, 2020, 03:19:05 AM
Who cares you can not buy them.  And if they sell they may all have new parts. I am thinking lots of empty christmas stockings as we simply can not buy them.
All video cards including these ones mentioned at near impossible to get at retail stores as it seems scalpers have flooded them onto places like facebook marketplace and ebay.
They are charging so much for the 3000series cards it really is not worth it to pay the prices they demand.
Might as well wait until the pandemic protocol restrictions subside a bit so more can be delivered from their factories overseas to the big box stores like bestbuy and microcenters.
4604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏈🏈 The American Football Discussion Thread 🏈🏈 on: December 27, 2020, 03:10:56 AM
Had one bet win yesterday with the stellar performance of the saints and Kamara breaking a record held since 1929 on the number of rushing yards in a half. He could of broke the record for the amount of rushing td in a single game but they held him off for number six to be able to complete it. Undecided
Today I had a bet on Tom Brady with 320+ yards and scoring 3+ passing tds which won but was only off by one point as I had the game at over 54.5 Roll Eyes

2 missed extra points and 1 missed field goal by detroit really made me upset. Angry
Should of picked the 335+ yards (he had over 348 yards and got to sit off for the entire second half) and 4+ passing td for the same odds.
4605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Betting thread - Combination with over and unders on: December 27, 2020, 02:58:36 AM
For the competition that just passed, it was with over/under in the betslip.
There is a market called "Winner & Total points" near the bottom of the match selections.

Maybe in the future we will use this thread exclusively for the next NBA competition sportsbet.io holds.
Just so we can keep all the betslip in one place and to keep the other thread just for the multimasters when steve and sportsbet.io decides if they would like to have those prizes offered again for the forum members participating in their promotions. Smiley
4606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: December 27, 2020, 02:53:04 AM
That Arsenal win was a huge one and it keeps them out of the regulation zone and most importantly, helps keep the manager's job going into the new year.
So big ups to the gunners facing up to the challenge and coming up with a victory.
As for the multimasters, it looks like I will be the one with the least amount of wins this round. As I only had three correct out of the matches played today. Embarrassed
Take goodness there is a loser's consolation prize for having the least amount correct for this last week of the year.
Fitting it being a loser year and very dismal one at that.
Can't wait for it to be over to be honest. Roll Eyes
4607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Stolen ETH from my Ledger on: December 27, 2020, 02:45:19 AM
I have traded with Ledger many times and always carefully. It was probably some hacking attack on my PC, unknown to me. I thought Ledger was safe ...

The ledger isn't really safe from the recent articles surfacing about the company which had a major data breach back in July of this year. Yet they hadn't done much to secure their devices nor protect their customers.
Could these email addresses that had been published to a subsequent forum be used to get those ledger users to click on link so whenever they connect their ledger to their pc to upgrade or whatever they want to do with it, it copies an address which is the hackers deposit address instead?
Who knows but that's what it sounds like happened to your crypto located this ledger, a so called secure&safe wallet.

PhoenixMiner 5.4c: Asus rog strix RX570 4gb ETH 11,92mh
https://ibb.co/YP4X8V7
Whoa! That is low compared to what they were getting last week at 21mh/s.
There was a chart showing the dates of each epoch and what mh/s the 4gb should still be getting until they hit those target dates. Just like the one which just past on the 24th.
I am still able to mine with my lone 4gb card at 21.5mh/s but it was at 31.5mh/s a month ago. Undecided
So the hashrate has been dropping off very rapidly every week.
4609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH hashrate keeps growing on: December 27, 2020, 02:35:48 AM
So with the hashrate dropping since these 4gb are slowly being phased off the network, due to zombie mode enabling them to still work in some mining programs, they are still able to work but at a crippled hashrate compared to what they were doing a month ago.
Wouldn't there be more profit available since those cards would be switching over to another algorithm such as etchash.
4610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: P102-100 10GB bios on: December 27, 2020, 02:30:14 AM
I have only seen one of these being available and it is from a seller on ebay.
I believe they unlocked it by doing a bios upgrade on the card to have it recognized as a 8gb card instead of only 4gb.

for this gpu to be worthwhile, it had to be 170 mhs or more, nvidia could have done it, decided not to.
The 3090 line are the top hashers but not having the best cost to hash ratio of the 3000rtx series cards.
That belongs to the 3060ti hashing at 66mh/s at 125watts which is even better than the 5700xt cards were doing.
Those were the king of hashrate for a while until these ti cards came along.
Maybe the 3080ti will do 170mh/s mark you are saying to be worth it to mine with. As they were announced to be between the 3090 and the 3080 in performance but not costing as much for the 3090 at a price tag of $1499 MSRP.

4613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 27, 2020, 12:15:21 AM
It was a scary moment when we see Kawhi laying down with blood all over the place like that. Luckily he's fine now. After Ibaka's unintentional elbow, his mouth had 8 stitches. I'm wishing him a speedy recovery, we'll probably see him 2 matches later, if not next match.

Clippers, Lakers, Heat, Bucks and Nets grabbed the win as expected. It was kinda odd that all favorites won their games though.
I watched the game and it was a mistake by Serge Obaka on his own team which the incident happened.
He was bleeding alot from his mouth and at first thought he bit his tongue from the collision.
It was a scary moment because he had to be helped off the court. He probably won't play in the next the Clippers next game.
Due to concussion protocols from having that much contact on the court and having your head smashed back like that.
4614  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: December 27, 2020, 12:11:50 AM
NBA games are definitely games that you should not multi with that many games, hell if you could just make them all individual bets that is a lot better. NBA is not like other sports, obviously in all sports amazing teams lose to lower level teams as well but it is a very rare thing, usually high level teams play each other and lose points there.

In NBA however you could literally have top ranked team versus lowest ranked team and you could still never know what is going to happen. At the end of the day we are talking about NBA here and even the 72 win Warriors team lost 10 games, and even the finals after 3-1 lead, in NBA everything is up for grabs. Surely you could play on all games, just not attach them all together, make like 2-3 games at most, and if there are 6 games, do like 3 games of 2 multis and that would be a lot better and safer that way.
NBA games really are a toss up from the beginning of the game.
One of the weaker teams can be just playing their bench and still beat a top team when this team is having an off night.
Noticed Houston rockets with Harden making his return from going through covid protocol they are doing in the NBA. All because 4 other players on the Houston team have it, thus the reason why their last match was postponed and eventually cancelled all because they didn't have enough players on their bench to play the match.
I have an nba betting thread dedicated just for these matches to show some your betslips on the matches you made on sportsbet.io and share some tips.
4615  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - $500k Holiday Giveaway! 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: December 27, 2020, 12:07:20 AM
Love the 100k megarace but also doubt there will be any chance for me to win anything. Sadly.
Good luck to us all and lets see if it also comes to luck and some small gambler wins a big paycheck.
It would be cool for a casual gamer that bets like 25-50$ dollars wins something. Would sure boost his/her bankroll a bit.

Cool giveaway and thanks to stake!

Correction, today will be 20k Mega Race plus the lottery of 100*$1000 =100k
It is hard to compete for the Mega Race if we have low bankroll since there are too many whales on Stake who can wager a lot of money in short of time.
If you have some lottery tickets, better to wait for your luck on the lottery instead of trying to win Mega Race.
I have 14 tickets only, for sure I have so tiny chance but I do not lose my hope.  Grin

With 14 tickets you also have a good chance of winning something. If you really want to get a lot of tickets, you will have to bet a lot. The big whales that bet a lot won't even want those tickets.
Maybe they would still like to give it away  Grin
ON the megarace there was a mention of how many tickets were released for this raffle giveaway.
Somewhere in the range of 400,000. And in the sum of 40 mln gambled to get those tickets.
There were 100 winners of $1000 each but there were multiply winners allowed.

4617  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: December 26, 2020, 04:18:17 PM
All right.
But...
What about 26000?
Is such a thing even possible?

$25,903 is the new all time high for the next hour because it seems those people who are shopping on boxing day are using crypto to buy up those deals online which is in itself at an all time high too.

4620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sport betting site offering bets on the Covid-19 pandemic. Worst site now. on: December 26, 2020, 12:08:46 PM

Had forgotten about this thread, so with us still being in the pandemic these sites have slowly been taking these type of bets off their sites, one by one.
And I could not disclose which site I was referring to in the OP when this thread was first discussed about.
The site which were offering bets on the number of covid cases and deaths was:
5dimes.
So they are doing the good thing now?

But there are still question above OP, in which asking what SIte is this?

Would you share it with us?i tried to browse but there's nothing coming out.
You can't find it because I believe they have run into problems since I last updated this thread which was back in the middle of the year.
I don't know if they still operate because they have shutdown to all their US based clients due to lawsuits and costa rican settlements paid out to the feds, etc.

Don't know the entire story to which these events came about because before this topic when I posted about it, I hadn't ever heard of this sportsbook before.
