4601  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Need help - Coingate order, btc gone? on: April 18, 2019, 12:22:11 PM
Where did you download your Electrum? There is no such thing as 4.0v as the latest version is 3.3.4. If you downloaded it from anywhere aside from the link I provided or the GitHub repository, then your coins are lost forever.
4602  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Best Linux Wallet 2019 on: April 18, 2019, 10:02:19 AM
If you're that worried about your funds (which you should) then a hardware wallet (Trezor) is more suitable for you and you could use it everywhere as long as you have a browser.
4603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the Safest and Most Reliable Exchange to Sell Alt Coins ? on: April 17, 2019, 02:28:54 PM
Binance and Bittrex are probably the most reputable I would say.

I'm not sure about Binance but Bittrex probably won't let you withdraw your funds until you verify your ID, so keep that in mind.
4604  Economy / Exchanges / Switcheo exchange on: April 17, 2019, 07:15:03 AM
I haven't tried the exchange yet but from what I have seen (UI/UX, trading volume, features, etc.) it does that they took decentralized exchange to another level. Could the people who already used the exchange give us their reviews? (Preferably from Trezor users)
4605  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where to buy Bitcoin with cheapest fee? on: April 17, 2019, 06:37:21 AM
Peer to peer trading is probably the cheapest as you'll be avoiding third-party fees (the exchange). How cheap can it be will depend on the payment method you're going to use.
4606  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum Wallet 3.3.4 Problem on: April 16, 2019, 04:54:29 PM
HI

I tried to open my Electrum wallet version 3.3.4   and I got this error message: Fatal error detected Failed to execute script run_electrum

What happened, What do I do about this??? I downloaded another version, it appears that I have the latest version (3.3.4). I downloaded
another 3.3.4 version when I tried to open it I received the SAME error message?Huh?   Please help!!!!

The only place you should download the wallet from is Electrum.org don't take it from anywhere else.

As for your problem, I had a similar issue, and for me, it was (or so I think) Windows 10 update. Read what people suggested: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5130553.0;topicseen
4607  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Want to know more about SegWit eligible BTC Address. on: April 16, 2019, 04:32:10 PM
Electrum and Coinomi (not recommended as they are not open source) both gives you addresses that start with bc1. For block explorer's, you have BTC.com and Blockonomics.
4608  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BTC.com Wallet - Export Privat key? on: April 16, 2019, 01:07:30 PM
The interesting part is that BTC dot com was one of the very first players in crypto to actually support native Segwit, which even some of the main Bitcoin clients to this day still don't.

The blockexplorer support bc1 addresses but the wallet don't fully support it. You can send to bc1 addresses but not generate any.
4609  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to Create a Strong/Secure Password? on: April 16, 2019, 07:49:34 AM
A video to give people a deeper understanding of how hackers crack passwords: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YiRPt4vrSSw

As for your suggestion to use Avast, I think it's safer and more secure to use something open source like KeePass to both generate and store passwords.
4610  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which are the best cryptocurrency Exchanges in Australia? on: April 16, 2019, 07:08:46 AM
The list above should have it all. I wouldn't suggest Virwox and Bitcoin ATMs because the fees will be so high. There is no best really, as it's a matter of preferences (UI/UX, fees, verification time, etc.) but I would recommend going with Coinmama or Coinbase as they are very reputable. Alternatively, trade with individuals in P2P platforms but that comes with risks (reversible payment methods).
4611  Economy / Exchanges / Re: seller on localbitcoins will not release coins says bank held a cash deposit on: April 16, 2019, 06:43:20 AM
How come the funds are no longer in escrow If the transaction hasn't been completed yet? Open a dispute (scroll down), it should end in your favor If he's not being responsive.

Quote
Unresponsiveness
When you are involved in a bitcoin trade it is important that you remain active and available from the time the trade is started to the time that the trade is completed, canceled, or resolved. This means that you must be able to provide a response to a request by LocalBitcoins support in a disputed trade within 12 hours or you may be deemed as unresponsive and the dispute may be resolved against you.

4612  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Android wallets on: April 16, 2019, 06:29:48 AM
how about trustwallet? https://trustwallet.com/

Just gave it a try, like every multi crypto wallet, it's pretty basic when it comes to the settings.

We are developing bluewallet, if you want to give it a try.
i tried. easy to use for my first experience using Lightning wallet. simple for make a new LN wallet for receive and sending invoice.
but, when release withdraw to HD wallet not to use third party zigzag.io?

They'll probably be using zigzag's API because they already have an exchange for that purpose. If you check Bluewallet's website, you'll see that the feature is coming soon:

Code:
Withdraw (coming soon):
Allows you get your funds back to a Bitcoin on-chain wallet. At the moment Bluewallet redirects you to zigzag.io while the feature is not ready.
4613  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help a newbie define 'a bounty manager' on: April 16, 2019, 05:14:36 AM
We have a list of bounty managers (or at least some of them). There is "no best" as it's a matter of preferences, so, I would suggest you check their portoflio's.
4614  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Can we get adsene to our crypto blog website? on: April 13, 2019, 06:24:58 PM
Read google Adsense policy to know If crypto websites are accepted or not.

Regardless of the answer though, I wouldn't suggest using them. If you are interested in crypto, you probably want to be paid using bitcoin and also, you don't want your users to see irrelevant ads. Check this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1108616.0 (It's far from being updated though but gives you an idea of what you should look for).
4615  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to refund on: April 13, 2019, 05:50:18 PM
Bitcoin is not a company. Bitcoin.com is.

Unlike PayPal and other payment methods, bitcoin is irreversible, contacting the wallet provider you used won't help you sadly as your coins are probably sent elsewhere already.

I'm not sure about the details and where you got scammed, but maybe you could make a thread in the scam accusation section to make people aware of the service/person who scammed you.
4616  Other / Archival / Re: exodus wallet | 0.4 Bitcoin on: April 13, 2019, 04:14:23 PM
Exodus is not open source so you don't really know what's happening behind the scenes and If you're planning to use their exchange, they are using ShapeShift and Changelly as the third party, I think there might be a possibility where you could be asked for an ID there.

TrueUSD is an Ethereum-based token, I would suggest you make a new wallet in Myetherwallet and print it with the private keys and then send your TrueUSD there.

In order to get the TrueUSD, you'll need to use an exchange, I don't think Binance or HitBtc ask for ID. If they do or you don't want to signup for any exchange, you could always ask someone to do this for you on the services section for a 5$ bounty for example, just make sure it's someone trusted.

الق نظرة على منصات P2P مثل Paxul او Locabitcoins. يمكنك حتى الدفع عن طريق vodafone و orange الخ.. لكن احذر من النصب لانك تتعامل مع أشخاص و ليس شركات

4618  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Error when executing Electrum on: April 13, 2019, 10:14:20 AM
I'm using Windows 10 and not 7 and at the time of the error, I did have updates waiting to be installed from Windows. After rebooting the computer and having the updates installed, the error is no longer showing.
4619  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BTC.com Wallet - Export Privat key? on: April 13, 2019, 08:34:24 AM
If it's not possible to access private keys, it means that BTC.com give misleading information about their service. This is quote from their website - "Maintain full control over your bitcoin private keys". It doesn't looks good.

They are not scammers but it's far from being a transparent service, that's why I stopped using them and I would suggest for everyone to do the same.
