4601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of poker player are you? on: May 19, 2019, 04:23:14 AM
I have noticed that there two kinds of persons in poker gambling (when it refers to profits)

1._ The hit and run ones
2._ The ones who uses the money earned on previous bets to hunt for a bigger reward

What's your kind?

I think that I'm the hit and run type if I make more profit in one round that I have lost in the previous rounds, I will be ready to leave the game, I might stay for another or two rounds, just to see if I'm in luck, but I like to leave the game while I'm still in profit.
I am not really good at poker but you know I can be if I try hard and a lot. This is something that gets better and better with the passage of time. You need to explore about the area and maybe play more often to understand how things work.  I rather love to gamble at sports but Poker is one of the best ways to make millions if you are passionate about it.

Poker do require some real experience and knowledge to play and I do prefer it over dice / Wheels games. Infact, dice games can be played and won by kids too but in order to win a poker game, you need to have some basic  understanding of the game. The more you understand poker, the better you will be able to play and win.
4602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How did today bullish trend affect gambling! on: May 19, 2019, 03:36:38 AM
The price of bitcoins are up with more than 2x in less than 2 months, so everyone holding bitcoins now has the double amount of money compared to two months ago. And now the altcoins starts to rise also. So everyone has more money now.
When I get more money I like to spend some of them, and some of those money cut be spend on gambling.
The bullish market affected the gambling activities because the rise in the value of crypto motivated a big influx of gamblers into gambling. The reason behind the entry of a huge number of gamblers in crypto gambling is purely the probability of winning. Majority of the people who would enter crypto gambling in such situation would be expert at it. The risk averse guys would rather prefer to stay in the bullish market and let the market do the job.

Since most of the gambling is done using bitcoins and crypto, we see positive results in increase in gambling too. Since when the btc rises, it becomes the news of the media and trending search term in "Google". When this happens, the use cases associated with bitcoins like gambling / trading, also gets a boost.
4603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you gamble only with Bitcoin and do you have other favorite alt-coin? on: May 18, 2019, 04:45:15 PM
In these days when Btc is very much expensive again, I look for better alternatives like gambling sites over Ethereum and EOS chain which give me the same type of games with much less fee for withdrawals and it becomes a win-win for me if I win big in EOS and price in BTC rises for that. I gamble with alts because BTC is sky high so I can't afford to lose even BTC0.001, but if I lose 0.001 Eth or EOS, then I am totally fine with it.

No matter which crypto currency we use, we tend to calculate in usd the profits and losses. So if the btc price is increased, you can lower your amount from 0.001 to 0.0005 approx. (so the usd value remains the same).  Yes, I do agree that the withdrawal in BTC gets more expensive as the value gets increased.
4604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you know game like pusoy or tongits? on: May 18, 2019, 03:38:49 PM
So its been a while since anybody wrote in this thread: is there a chance any crypto casinos developed a tongits game by now? I know its a multiplayer card game and really there's only Texas Hold'Em available, but you know, with increased user adoption and such... thought there might be a chance for one by now. Asking on behalf of my girlfriend...

I have been in gambling for some time now but i am hearing this game pusoy or tongits first time ? Never saw any online website offering such a game ?  Maybe it is popular only in certain areas and not avaible globally.
4605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your game and why? on: May 18, 2019, 07:41:45 AM
i have done with almost all gambling games but for now i more prefer poker and sport betting and especially the last which i mentioned indeed all gambling games wouldn't guarantee to makes profit but my gambling results more better during my sport betting than playing for other games
I have started developing interest for sport betting this days after a girl in my office win a very high amout in sport winning predictions. Kyc, is very important and it is good the gambling sites should kyc the members because bad people can hide under the nor kyc and win good money and then invest those money into something like terrorism.

With sports betting we can win a more amount of money as compare to other gambling games. The sports betting does not only depends on the luck but also if you have good knowledge of match, you can get correct results by predicting it correctly.
4606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test this strategy and win! check this out on: May 17, 2019, 10:49:49 PM
I would try this out and see if this strategy would work for me.
But if this strategy works it would only take some time before the house finds out about it and you would also lose.

If anyone has a real winning strategy then he should try to use it for as long time as possible and do not disclose it in public. If the gambling site come to know about any strategy, they will take action and develop some methods which will neglect the chances of winning. That's why we more often see old strategies give us lose instead of win.
4607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What importance is kyc In gambling section on: May 17, 2019, 05:08:20 PM
I hate it and as long as a casino wants to know my identity and information I am not going to play there for sure. Of course there are times they only ask when needed and not ask it beforehand so I may have to share my information to get my money out of that casino and forced to share it then I will do it just so I can get away from that casino.

Aside from those situations, if I know a casino wants KYC without even gambling just to register then there is no possible way I will ever even test that casino, wouldn't even give them 2 satoshis, my personal information is my personal information and nobody has right to force me to give that to them, if they want it I will decline and move on with another website that doesn't want it from me to gamble.

Same here, i will never sumbit my KYC to a gambling site and rather will move on the other gambling site where there is no requirement of KYC. Since there are many good gambling sites which do not require kyc so people will just ignore the sites where kyc is mandatory.
4608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: No Alternatives to Directbet? on: May 17, 2019, 01:43:13 PM
It was very easy UI to handle for newbies to any gamblers. When directbet was live I did not try the any betting but nowadays I am using the sportsbet every time when the league matches going on.
Now i am been waiting for world cup matches. I hope sportsbet site will be busy on creating betting scripts for special world cup matches this year. Lets everyone rock.

You will not find anything which is like directbet for World Cup matches.  Sports betting sites like sportsbet.io etc will give us betting opportunity for world cup matches and I don't think any new site will develop for such event. Even if any new site come online, people will not be attracted to new sites due to lot of scams these days.
4609  Economy / Economics / Re: Regulation of Cryptocurrency Around the World on: May 13, 2019, 03:51:48 AM
I hope 2 - 5 years from now, those countries which considered cryptocurrency as illegal will reverse their decision.
Just like facebook reversing its ban on crypto advertising, I think we will be seeing some good improvement in the long run.
Crypto regulation needs to take place, a standard regulation would help for these countries to understands how to regulate and eventually adopt.

Currently we are seeing and focusing on which countries are regulating the crypto ? and which countries have made bitcoin legal in their countries.
A time will come when we will be discussing why the few countries still left for regulating crypto. That's how the world will be changed in few years from now.
4610  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing in Bitcoin in 2019? on: May 12, 2019, 06:09:13 AM
In this time when seeing the current market situation of Bitcoin is totally developing so it can be a good sign up improvement because the bear market ends and the full market continuous show the development keep continuing everyday with a huge amount of increment that's why this year will be more useful and important for everyone to get their success with profit.

Bitcoin best investment time was at the start of this year when bitcoin prices were near 4000$. Currently i will not recommend anyone to invest in bitcoin as it has crossed 7000% already. For the new investors , they should wait for the correction.  I think bitcoin will retest 5800$ and that will be another good opportunity to buy.
4611  Economy / Economics / Re: Current Market state on: May 12, 2019, 05:41:56 AM
Market still bullish, but now is consolidating between 5900-6200. If Btc broke 6200 resistance June can hit 7000

We do not have to wait for June. Bitcoin has already passed 7000$ in May. But i think all this big bitcoin movement is result of some manipulation by the whales. USD Tehther issue at bitfinex and Binance withdrawal disable can be considered as two major factor why the bitcoin prices are rising too high. I also have a feeling that once the binance will open withdrawal, the bitcoin might dump hard.
4612  Economy / Economics / Re: Know Your Customer on: May 12, 2019, 05:20:29 AM
I my country is being regulated the use and profits coming from BITCOIN or cryptomoedas, I still do not know how this process will be, believe that soon we will have a regulation in Brazil!

Each country will have different rules because in my country every person who has a valuable coin (BITCOIN) will be taxed by the state. Maybe in other countries there are different rules.

In most of the countries including mine bitcoin is not legal nor illegal. People are using bitcoin privately as there is no certain substance on it by the government. Since government is also unclear about it whether to accept it or not, no one pay taxes on bitcoins. I think sooner or later every government will regulate crypto currencies.
4613  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is heading back to $6k on: May 12, 2019, 04:27:55 AM
Yes, the price of bitcoin is growing and in the same time all others altcoins grow with it. Bitcoin is similar with rain to the grains.

No, how can you say that?

If you are watching the price charts, you can see that it is really bad when you look at an altcoin to BTC. While the BTC is increasing, the equivalent of an altcoin to BTC is falling. That really is bad since I am looking forward to trading some of my altcoins to BTC but I am a bit too late since the price of it in BTC decreases than my expected amount.

If you are holding the altcoins, then you should not sell them at a loss. At the present all the altcoins are at too much loss and selling will mean a big loss in terms of satoshi value. Bitcoin movement is very fast for last few days and it will stable in next few days. At that time the altcoins will pump and that will be a good time to get profits from the alts.
4614  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Update on Binance hack as per CZ on: May 11, 2019, 01:45:15 PM
i dont like cz but cz and binance stayed strong and give trust to market.its almost zero effected to market if it was a real hack Smiley the worst thing was talking about rollback.in the future if there is a hack on any market, rollback will be an option now.

I think the Roll back of transactions on blockchain network in order to neglect the loss, was sure not possible and it was just a slip of tongue from CZ. If bitcoin network can be rolled back ,then this is system is not good and can be manipulated. People would have lost faith in bitcoin if ever a roll back happens on transactions. CZ should only recover funds from the Safu trust and should not give statements which bring bad reputation to bitcoin itself.
4615  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally $200 billion total Marketcap is achieved. on: May 11, 2019, 01:28:47 PM
I am happy today as finally the total Marketcap is now $200 billion, what can we expect from here?

https://coinmarketcap.com/charts/

As per the current bitcoin rally, i am confident that we may see $300 billion marketcap by the end of May. We have seen that even the bad news like binance hack has no bad effect on bitcoin price and it did not dump. We might see bull run much early then we expected. There should be a mini bull run by the end of this year which will bring bitcoin price near to its all time high.
4616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Psychological Technique - Play without Pressure on: May 11, 2019, 11:30:31 AM
Gambling without pressure will require a high standard of professionalism which i think most professional gamblers already attained. The only reason that a gambler will master that technique is to improve their bluffing strategy when playing with professional gamblers too. This i think is attained by practicing and/or playing gambling every day which of course is a huge investment of your money and time.

No matter how much you have gained experience in gambling, the pressure do comes in each and every game. It is the fear of loss which give us the undue pressure while playing gambling. The only way to get this pressure reduced is to have many wins under your belt and this will make you feel confident and you will be feeling less pressure while betting or gambling.
4617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you find Success in Gambling? on: May 11, 2019, 06:59:20 AM
When i started gambling, i did play some dice games and won a few times, but as i continued to play i started losing more than winning, so my gambling experience wasn't successful.
I have some experience recently that relate to what happened to you too.  I open account with stake.com and fund it.  As at today when I reviewed my performance,  I find out that I have lose more than winning and my balance is in red.  I have not really succeed at the number that I have play dice so far.

How can your be balance in Red ? There is no such thing is gambling where your balance may go in Red or minus figures ? If you had lost the games, it will mean that you have actually lost your money. There is no way that we can wait and convert our loses in profits ( as we do in trading).
4618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can you save money while playing gambling games? on: May 11, 2019, 06:49:18 AM
It is really at tough to do savings while playing in gambling.

That's correct because we are gambling to spend and not to save.
We are always advise to gamble what we can afford to lose because most likely our experience will be more losing than winning, that's how it works in gambling.

Since we lose more than winning is gambling, we need to find a plan where our loss is minimize and we are able to make some decent profit out of gambling. Most gamblers do not take out the profit from the games and re-invest the profit in next game, which results in an overall loss. We should keep booking the profits in gambling and keep them aside.
4619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dont be dumb gamblers on: May 11, 2019, 05:26:27 AM
My friend recently get scammed by a gambling site which he found by continuously browsing. On internet. Sorry but even he cant remember the name so i cant tell you but here's what you wouldnt do. He said he was searching about how cryptocurrency gambling work. He is much aware about bitcoin but not about using it for gambling. He find some "yellow botton" he said which offers gambling for newbies and the rest is history. Goodbye $200 . yes thats kinda bit small but should you wait that it happened to you with a bigger amount? Here's what you would do.
1. Dont click and browse non recognized site to avoid phishing.
2.. Always ask first the people on this forum whether the site is legit or not.
3. Dont put too much money on that site so if ever its really a scam, the amount it can get is minimal.
4. If it looks really legit, try some few games with few bets at first.

Being cautious costs less than not being aware at all. Dont let our greediness and dumbness takes over our financial life. Be safe people.

I believe that the first bullet point covers all the above.
Every gambler should be cautious and play only on websites that are known and there are written reviews here in bitcointalk with user experience from other gamblers. Otherwise, it is very risky to gamble your money there.

New gambling sites are always risky. I always play majority of gambling games on trusted gambling sites. Even sometime i need to play on new gambling site, i spend only limited funds there. This way even if the new gambling site try to scam, i will not lose much of my funds.
Using old and trusted gambling site is always better than trying new and untrusted site, that's the very reason newbies always been the target
of this phishing sites, giving lots of  attracting offers, OP's friends will learned things in the hard way, make sure to follow opinions
of those experienced gamblers to avoid this things to happen.

People do get attracted by new gambling sites offers and they can't resist to join them. Since everyone needs quick money, they try to take risk in new gambling sites and then once they get scam, they feel bad about it and wished they had not invested in new site.

Being a gambler one should know not to get greedy and play in safe & trusted sites only.
4620  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance case shows that crypto community is stronger than ever on: May 11, 2019, 04:36:34 AM
That hacking incident even made the crypto situation better. Bitcoin's price is increasing and despite the controversy,
traders still trust Binance. It only means that Crypto enthusiast couldn't get affected by negative news that fast.
Crypto foundation is standing firm during this situation.

Bitcoin price increase is not related to Binance hack as bitcoin was independently moving good in upward directions from the last one month or so. At the day of binance hack, there was some downward movement in bbitcoin price, but binance told that they would recover the funds from SAFU funds make the situation normal. If the hack was big and no backup plan from binance was annoucnced, bitcoin could have dump hard on that momnet.
