4601  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dump tactics - where to protect your crypot's when during dump? on: December 10, 2020, 10:18:52 PM
Warning - i'm a beginner.

1.
I'm trying to prepare myself, when BTC would start to "dump", what is the best place to protect your ASSets ?
Is it to convert to stable coin?

2.
What is the best easy way to convert crypto for gold or silver?

Thanks guys!
Only I can say is that you have to prepare for a long-term holding. Converting to a stable coin could be an option but can't be sure if you were able to hold it coz it is still the same if you are holding Bitcoin. For me, I'd rather have to convert it for Bitcoin or any potential coins ruler in the market and hold until the price goes back high again.

Holding could only save you, otherwise, you will be one of those panic sellers. So if you are going to invest crypto, make it happen when the market is in bearish season, not this bullish time.
4602  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of Bitcoin may increase normally but not as much as 400K on: December 10, 2020, 12:51:25 PM
I think by now we should already know that Bitcoin price could move as much as it want.
Back when it was just a low price and new nobody would even believe that it could hit $10K or $20K but it does,
So maybe right now we couldn't see it happening because of the huge gap but maybe someday it could prove you wrong.
Maybe I blame myself for not believing Bitcoin in its early years of existence. Yes, I was in doubts, and a lot of questions inside but we can't go back where it was started, people are getting crazy as the price goes high. And I can't think also that it will make huge dumps this time where there are a lot of users and companies adopting Bitcoin. But then, I was not also thinking that it goes that too high at $400k even we have this fully adopted.
4603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where DeFi is headed on: December 10, 2020, 10:49:56 AM
Actually, DeFi's goal is good by providing freedom, low transaction fees, providing better privacy, immutable and easy transactions.
Therefore, DeFi projects are in high demand immediately and there is hype this year, because DeFi provides something that CEFI
cannot give to investors. But unfortunately many scammers are taking advantage of DeFi's popularity to commit fraud. So now a lot of
DeFi has sprung up that don't have a clear purpose, so always do your research before choosing to invest in DeFi projects.

exactly! the goal of defi is great but it is now shrouded with too much hype and scammers. look at some of the authentic defi projects like chainlink or aave. they have actual developments going on. and we know that they are building this platform according to their mission.
very soon, we will know which ones will survive in this hype. because about 90% of them will go down the drain because their respective "devs" will abandon them once they got their money.
Almost everything has been ruined by these scammers and greedy individuals. I believe as well that their intention is good but somehow, some opportunist scammers did make things differently and help to end DeFi projects in a short time. And with this scenario, I'm worried that the incoming projects will not easily attract market investors but for sure, they are full of doubts as they once been losing a lot from DeFi projects.
4604  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Primedice = Prison for your money on: December 10, 2020, 08:46:15 AM
All I wish is that Primedice will put an end to this and say something about the said issue. I don't think also that it takes a long time to know if your account is suspicious (probably not) and have your money back.

This is not about blaming each other nor yelling for a mistake (or not), people are here just to help you, and that they say are some reason why your account is held. They need some investigation and so please bear with them, Primedice won't ruin their reputation unless if you are visiting the wrong one.
4605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Errol Spence Jr. vs. Danny Garcia IBF & WBC Welterweight Title on: December 09, 2020, 11:35:05 PM
Looks like the crowd favourite Danny Garcia got defeated, what a let down i was hoping of a more hyper Danny because he has the most experience, considering fighting big names such as Shawn porter and Keith Thurman. But in that fight he looked sluggish and barely even throwing any punches. What a boring match, many gamblers must have loss from this match.
Danny Garcia wasn't the crowd favorite, it was Spence because he was the undefeated and the championship, even if you'll verify the betting odds, you'll see that Garcia was the underdog of this fight.
But, it was Danny asking for a big fight just to have the crowd know his name in boxing which I believe was his intention, not to win. He is fighting the undefeated boxer which he knows himself that he already has a slim chance to win.

If it could happen that Spencer or Crawford will face against Manny, I will still put my bet to Manny (as just support) but not because I was confident that he gonna win because of the age gap. These young fighters are hungry just like Thurman but it was a long time that Manny hasn't in the fight which probably slowing his speed. I'd preferred for Manny not to fight again.
4606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effective tips to maximize low wager slot games on: December 09, 2020, 11:02:47 PM
If you are a beginner and just observing how slot games works then this could be the best option to take.

Low wager = small gain but also a small amount to lose.

I did this before, I come into gambling that full of worries and keep asking myself, what IF I lose? So what I did is to put only a small amount just to stay a little bit longer and enjoy myself out there. And besides, from that losing experience, from that wagering only small amounts we are learning and benefiting from it.
4607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The biggest 10 countries that gamble the most. on: December 09, 2020, 11:40:32 AM
Studies and surveys can't be instantly generated and it is hard to find the latest especially during the pandemic.

Anyway, I've got this Top 10 Gambling Cities in the World in 2020 and has been published earlier this year, maybe this could help us. But probably there is a huge change when the pandemic hits us badly. However, I don't expect a huge change then.

Well, it is to expect that many countries have a massive growth of gambling institutions. And as OP mentioned about losses, it probably more than that as we think.

4608  Other / Archival / Re: Do i need a license if i want to create a crypto gambling site? on: December 09, 2020, 07:25:09 AM
If you can show a license to the community, they never think that they had come into illegal site.
Is this necessary? Absolutely, YES.

License is a legal basis for you to consider, gamblers much appreciate that if they see it. A sort of encouragement, they'll think that they are secure and you as well. Do you want your business to seize by the authorities since your intention is good? I don't think so and it is your duty and obligation to do secure that and for the welfare of everyone involved.
4609  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of trader are you - Day Trader or Swing Trader? on: December 08, 2020, 11:44:22 PM
I've been in trading for quite a long time but not a full pledge trader. I'll just stop by when I have a long break from my job and stop then. I called myself still a beginner, it was right since I was still about to keep learning as should be no matter how long we've been in trading.

Technical analysis, fundamental analysis, I know that not all traders are been so keen dealing with this, in fact, I barely not to use this instead, I'm going straight of what I understand base on the current market behavior.

https://www.investopedia.com/articles/active-trading/052815/pros-cons-day-trading-vs-swing-trading.asp

This could help some people to understand their current trading stance and find themselves out from it.
4610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Some till don't understand crypto and bitcoin on: December 08, 2020, 11:18:56 PM
SoftBank CEO said crypto will be useful but Bitcoin is hard to understand, but what is crypto without bitcoin? And again how is Bitcoin so hard to believe? Is there anyone on here is find bitcoin hard to understand? What's your thought on this?
There is no such interest as what I saw to that CEO. He heard the word Bitcoin only because people are talking about it but that was a slim chance that it brought to his attention and taken for granted.

a lot of people like this, this is a reason why crypto adotion can't be fully spread globally because of some misconceptions and understanding. We can't push them either, they don't even bother to try or it gives them time to know more about this technology. For out of 100% heard about Bitcoin, maybe only 1% have fully understood it, the rest are in doubts.
4611  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will increase 20X in the next 5 years on: December 08, 2020, 10:38:22 PM
20x in the next 5 years? I can't imagine how to be going and accumulated with because that was even riskier as I see.

Bitcoin is will be in high demand in the coming years but then, I'm not going to think that it goes like that, I only think it stuck at $20k, or if it is possible $50k will be at reach but not $100k.

Well, nothing it gives assurance. I know that people wanted to be bullish always but I'm not sure if they are also accumulating more Bitcoin if the price will be at that level.
4612  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin at risk of regulation? on: December 08, 2020, 10:10:38 PM
Regulation is inevitable for bitcoin. You must understand this. They want to control all segments of the financial market.
Everything needs regulation, including bitcoin. This happened because I thought the risk posed by bitcoin was enormous. They want to protect their citizens from crime, inflation, and AML which can ultimately harm the country or society itself. Seeing this, I think a country has the right to make rules on the scope of power so that everything runs smoothly. So as long as the regulation does not change the nature of bitcoin I think all will be well.
Could be everything needs regulation but not Bitcoin. I don't think it is for a reason just to be legally accepted and stop those scamming activities or fraud cos literally it will still exist no matter if there is regulation. It is the government that wanted to control and benefit from Bitcoin, and this will issued a higher risk than keeping in a decentralized market.

There is no such protection, regulation means controlled IMO and if that be going to happen, that is the time also that we lose our freedom.
I don't think that we want it.
4613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do the odds of other outcomes matter to you? on: December 07, 2020, 11:38:20 PM
it's a thing that we mostly consider, I often check it first before putting a bet. I know that this not give a huge assurance that we can win but that something it helps to increase our chances. And I have to continue doing this coz that it helping me anyway, and base on my betting experience, I find out that I won more times than losing, or maybe I was just lucky at that time. Well, I hope it works and I don't want to stop it until such time that it never gives me a favor. Anyway, losing is always be there, and have to expect that always as this is about luck.
4614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Floyd Mayweather vs. Logan Paul - February 20 on: December 07, 2020, 11:09:51 PM

Money. Money. Money. Not surprising at all.

As per Floyd Mayweather itself, he will be only taking an exhibition match and will not fight again in a professional and titled match.

Unlike in Tyson's exhibition match that serves a purpose, this Mayweather vs Paul fight is more of a street trash talk that wants to settle everything in an official match. More hype = more money.

Lol, it's the money indeed and because of money, Floyd Mayweather is becoming more of a clown  Smiley.

I would not be surprised that he will be a part of another comic act after this one because it's the way of Pretty Boy to sustain his lavish lifestyle.
And he keeps that clown look until he finally decides to retire from boxing. This fight proves that Floyd is not the best boxer but a best milking money boxer in the world. A little bit funny but that is what I saw in this and might some boxer saw it.

Anyway, the fight has been scheduled for next year, well, I hope that he changes his mind and does not fight. Because he just makes himself ridiculous and a clown. Better for him to stop doing this and the people might appreciate his decision.
4615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What affects the most in making timely decisions in the world of Crypto? on: December 06, 2020, 11:03:24 PM
Our minds will be easy to change if we listen to things around us either be positive or negative. Yes, of course, it was very important to know what happens around us because that also will affect the market trend and so to make our analysis. And why people make a bad decision is that because they never think it twice, they make decision base on what they saw in today's event without considering the incoming. That, if we make decisions, we need to consider the incoming, we need to be wise and we don't have to be influenced by our emotions that only bring us to hell.
4616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will Bookmakers Suspend/Restrict My Account if I Profit in the Long Term? on: December 06, 2020, 10:26:51 PM
This is something I don't get. If these bookmakers are going to suspend or restrict my account in the case of profiting too much, why should I even bother with sports betting in the first place? What's the point? Having fun while losing money?

Which leads me to the question, are there any reputable bitcoin sports betting exchange sites? And will they suspend/restrict my account too if I profit too much although they won't be affected by my winnings so logically they shouldn't care about it. In fact, since the pool and liqudity get bigger they should even support it. So, is it really the same case with bitcoin exchange sites too so that I should give up betting if I plan on winning in the end?

honestly they won't unless if they find suspicious maybe like cheating also they might ask you to undergo KYC as well. i don't think they can't close an account just because you are winning in long term.
This is a common issues why our account is put on hold or blocked, not because you always keep on winning unless that so-called suspicious activities will be verified, then surely that will be the consequences.

@OP, have you did something not right? Because if there is nothing, then you don't need to worry. If that site(where you are playing) hold or restrict, or banned you from betting without any valid reason, then we can't stop to draw our conclusion that they are not legit, probably another scam site.
4617  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Looking for bitcoin with good exchange on: December 06, 2020, 01:20:07 PM
There are many exchanges in the market that are good, such as binance and kucoin, but in order for you to withdraw at least 2BTC and above it needed KYC so I think, get ready your valid ID, you may also buy in PayPal if you want. But I rather suggest to choose in the TOP5 list in coinmarketcap or coingecko for your reference, here are the top 5 as of now: (source: coinmarketcap)

1. Binance
2. Coinbase Pro
3.Huobi
4.Kraken
5.Bitfinex

This gonna be the answer OP. You don't need to go far and wasting your time searching for an exchange platform.
These suggestions not only saves your time but also lessen your risk in buying Bitcoin since we know that there are a lot of scam and phishing sites surround us.

You don't need to have them all, just choose one or two, that being fined.
I have Binance and Kraken, and I stick to them.
4618  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: TA gods, need your advice on: December 05, 2020, 11:24:37 PM
Probably not it goes like that, 1st and 2nd quarter is not the dumps that we don't want to happen.
Try to look at this last 2018, after the 2017 bullish ends.

source: https://www.coindesk.com/down-more-than-70-in-2018-bitcoin-closes-its-worst-year-on-record

Only it appears that the bearish season had come to the market at 3rd quarter until 1st quarter of 2019. This could possible that bearish will also appear once again late next year (2021), less possible during its 1st and 2nd quarter.
4619  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I start scalping with a 500$? on: December 04, 2020, 09:08:42 PM
Is there any tested strategy could I use to scalp 500$ to make them doubled within 2 month or in another word make 2% profit per day.
Any ideas?!
Is it worth?!
which trading platform can I use?
$500 is already a good amount to start but when asking can we doubled it for 2 months? Maybe not or even more twice, well, you can think that it depends on the situation and what coin/s you have invested.

But I suggest having Bitcoin and Ethereum only.
Bitcoin - $300
ETH - $200

Since you are aiming for that, it is you to make an effort otherwise it will just hope and dreams.
4620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins replace Bitcoin?!?!? on: December 04, 2020, 08:44:20 PM
They could in some point have a higher price, but I don't really think altcoins will replace what gave them birth in the first place. Custom cryptocurrencies and altcoins derived from the main and first cryptocurrency, BTC. So I don't really think it is possible for them to top BTC.
People who will think that one among altcoins will replace Bitcoin someday is a crypto hater coz we all know that this thing is unique and special among cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin did exist for more than 10 years but never saw that one altcoin surpasses in terms of price. This simply means that Bitcoin has a huge market demand more than any cryptos in the market and people take this coin for they know that it will bring them good returns.
