4601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: if you want to win big...accept defeat on: August 01, 2019, 05:15:34 AM
I only spend a small amount on it.
Spending a small amount in gambling will surely not make you addicted, however, if I'm in your shoes, I would not feel the thrill with a small bet only.
I do changes my betting amount, sometimes I loss big and feed bad of course but I accepted that it's part of the game.

I don't want to get addicted into gambling.
You won't if you stick with your strategy, however, like I said, spending small amount is not fun at all.
4602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Operating Online Casino -- Need License? on: August 01, 2019, 05:02:26 AM
For me, as a gambler from time to time, I don't check for the license of the site or even the provably fair. It's because I know the reputation of the casino website and doesn't need to be checked. I trusted it by the image and reputation of it. Don't be like me, and I am somehow easy to believe in people but still skeptical.

Reputation is more important compared to license for typical bettors like us.
I like to play in a non license casino too because they don't require KYC, they served the real purpose of crypto casino which is to stay anonymous and that's more fun even if we can call it a risky thing for us gamblers but we know that we can manage to loss that we gamble.
4603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Operating Online Casino -- Need License? on: August 01, 2019, 12:40:15 AM
Some gamblers are did not check the legality of online casino, they always look at first the concept of the website and the promos that they may grab for a better profit. .
Funny but its true  . not just gambler but people nowadays are more concerned on the sites design and other features more than the legality and security but you can easily tell if the site is shady by basing thru its design  .  shady and scammy sites oftenly have a poorly built design  .

If you don't have a license I think it takes more time before you can build trust to the gamblers and need massive promotion for your brand name.
Massive promotion is enough to get attention and trust even without a license  . gamblers tend to trust sites that are now popular like for example when it was advertise on this site via campaigns .
But it would be more self-satisfying on the part of the owner of online casino if it has its own license to operate so that gamblers will find it legit and so they can  put their trust on it easily. Maybe some countries do not require license for online casinos but i still believe majority of them still requite for legit and legal purposes.
4604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Thoughts on Video game gambling addiction? on: August 01, 2019, 12:30:58 AM
I myself started in playing video games when I was young. I am fascinated with graphics and happy when I hit the highest score and get the reward. as I grow up, games evolve and curiosity with new games that pays high reward is getting into me then I got introduced to online gambling. I do'nt say that there is no turning back for those who are hooked on online games. There is, its just a matter of discipline.
Since we are already facing new technologies nowadays, it can be observed that even young ones are already hooked to this. The most popular right now is Mobile Legend. But having connected this to real gambling casinos, i dont agree that all video gamers are also gamblers too. After all, it all matters from self-discipline.
4605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man won 12 times in lottery on: July 30, 2019, 09:28:03 PM
That's a hell o a genius, cracking a lottery algorithm and creating a model to make it available to other users.  I guess the algorithm were based on some factors that could easliy be exploited- unlike many blockchain-based lottery which are based on transaction hashes, something you cannot predict.

I believe he has high skills in the programming so he can break the lottery algorithm which not all programmer can do. But I don't think that the algorithm was easy to exploit because to break the code, someone needs to master the algorithm so he can be able to crack it. But I would call that he is one of the lucky people who can win 12 times in the lottery game.
It's really a big lucky break for someone to have that knowledge and use it to win over the lottery, it's a huge earnings since lottery paid big winnings, if he break that and make it very usable for his advantage it will bring a huge amount of money to grab from the house.
Mandel is a very genius man who came up winning 12 times in a lottery. He is not just a lucky man, but has a very smart and brilliant mind too. Even if i have that one too, i will also make sure to make huge amounts not just in lottery but even in some other gambling sites too. He is not just an ordinary individual alone, but a gifted and blessed one.
4606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why I don’t share Strategies anymore? on: July 30, 2019, 09:19:33 PM
I think there is no any strategy that you will win always on gambling, if there is then everyone would be millionaires. Everyone have different strategies for play gambling (just not for win). By that strategy few people's are winning and few are losing fund. But I don't think this is wrong to share your strategy if you are not recommending. All gambers know about risk of gambling so they should responsible for their fund.
We all have our own strategies in gambling and that my own strategies that has worked for me will not  work for you anymore. So we really have to develop our own skills and strategies based on our personality so that we will not just depend on luck but also with our own competent skills.
4607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: if you want to win big...accept defeat on: July 29, 2019, 10:33:21 PM
[snip]
Gamblers needed that losses in order to learn. They will not be a better gambler in the future if all our being controlled from the start.
This is a good idea, the truth is you can't hide or avoid the possible loss in gambling. While you are losing, you will be analyzed where you've been mistaken is such a game, especially in betting sports and poker. A real gambler will undergo on that scenario of being a loss/defeat, after that, move on and accept the reality insight.
Losing in gambling is really inevitable but if you know how to control your greed, you will not lose even more. There are really instances that even if we make such wins already, we always ask for more gains and so we still keep on gambling. Man has no satisfaction in nature but if we really want to save our profits, we should know how to control ourselves not to lose more.
4608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is bitcoin gambling really accepted in China ? on: July 26, 2019, 02:02:53 PM
Legal or illegal, they can just use vpn (like they use it to bypass telegram restriction), most gambling sites don't require kyc so nothing to worry there.
Maybe they can do that but they can't risk a big amount of money due to no KYC, they can't go after a site in case the site scam them.

Here in our country, we have many Chinese gambling operators, it seems illegal in their country, but they operate it in a country like ours, Chinese are good in creating a lot of gambling sites online and I 'm pretty sure that they are also accepting and creating Bitcoin gambling sites, just look at Justin Sun's Tron.

They are business minded person, and government restriction can't stop their business so they look for our country where they can operate freely.
No one would leave gambling as a business as it's a very lucrative way of making money.
4609  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If DEX is so obvious ! on: July 26, 2019, 01:46:08 PM
I have a few questions -
3) who is the major DEX right now?

Probably Binance DEX - https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/binance-dex/ with $6,849,474 USD because IDEX only has $847,259 USD  in volume.

4610  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is KuCoin Becoming the Best Exchange for Trading? on: July 26, 2019, 01:39:54 PM
Kucoin is going to be a competitor for Bitmex, that's why they've created Kumex. Also they repeat the same things as Binance regarding IEO. I don't think it is the best place for trading and I rarely use it although I would try kumex after launch, because I am interested in margin trading
That's a big ambition for them, bitmex has currently over $2 billion volume, while Kucoin only has over $500 million. They need to compete hard if they want to be a close competitor and get some share in the market.
4611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pacquiao Vs Mayweather 2 on: July 26, 2019, 07:32:44 AM
The best match for him? What do you mean?
Don't listen to broner, he is under Mayweather promotion and they are both trash talkers and runners in the ring.

You think Manny Pacquiao would win the fight against (undefeated) Floyd Mayweather?
Mayweather is a monster so I don't think it would be the best match for Manny to close his career... if he doesn't want to end it with a loss, at least.

Just when just Mayweather became a monster? I'm so interested to know, please enlighten me because I don't see monster run in the right.
4612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC and the $5 hammer on: July 26, 2019, 07:19:57 AM
Do you have any particular site you found asking for this? I'd understand this is required for exchanges but I think it's too much for a betting site.

I'm under the impression that these sites are less supervised than exchanges so there's a higher odd of your info getting out which, like you stated can result in a wrench attack.
Most gambling sites only works online so they register from the country where crypto and gambling is completely allowed that is why they are not asking for personal details but exchanges were regulated by the governments that is why they are asking for KYC.
That's how easy the journey of the gambling operators here in crypto compared to exchanges, but I'm not expecting they will forever enjoy this ease, the government will target them soon, it's just that the government are working based on priority.
4613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: July 26, 2019, 07:12:49 AM

Kenneth Faried

If I have a team in the NBA, I'll take him, he did well with the Rockets when their main Center was injured, I don't know how much his value and I don't know why the Rockets are letting him go.

He is one of the good players in the NBA right now, Just too that he didn't get a championship but his man can help the team to reach its goal to run for playoffs. he is one of the dominating role players out there. just like kanther this man has a good offence under the Rim too.

He can also energize his team, I would like him to sign with the Lakers if that is possible, he can help for the Lakers to improve in defense.
I think he is now fully healthy, so no doubt he can perform better than he plays with the Rockets.
4614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Attack on Bitcoin on: July 25, 2019, 10:21:48 PM
Another attack that will surely fail. There are lots of people attacking and doing so many things to bring down bitcoin includes cracking the blockchain (which never succeeds), spreading FUDS (maybe this post can be considered as one) and manipulating the market (which keeps in recovering). Well, I guess whatever this attack is, it will not succeed to fail bitcoin.
Bitcoin has remain firm and strong despite all the attacks tha happened to it way back in the previous years. But instead of ruining bitcoin, it has even helped to be more famous not just in one country but to a few big countries. Now a new attack has been said again, let's just wait and see if it can really destroy bitcoin who has been here for ten years long.
4615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't complain for too long. on: July 25, 2019, 10:07:05 PM
Complaining is part of the free speech. for me it doesnt matter since it cannot do any good or harm nor influence the market so let them complained! We all know that the cryptocurrency was very hard to predict including its prices due to its nature and volatility so patience is the key.
Yes it is not good to complain and if they does it should not effect your own interest of holding. People use to discourage other people by this kind of complaints but only New and immature investors will listen to them because real and mature investors don’t give any attention to them they only buy in bear and wait.
Even if the market is not good for altcoins, but we should not make it a big deal because we all know from the start that crypto market is unpredictable. Let us focus on the positive side of altcoins and continue hoping that there will be a good price increase in the next days and months.
4616  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don;t be tempted to Sell OUT; HODL on: July 25, 2019, 09:27:45 PM
At the moment we sell our coins and it pumped, we regret it. And the moment we hold and it dumped, we still felt regrets. Easier said than done but we are just human who feel such emotions- temptations, greed, confidence. But we have to remember why we get started here in crypto space, that is to gain profits. That is our main goal, the market is hard to predict and let us decide which side is safe. To hold or to sell.
Holding everytime the price drops is a really a good idea and only sell them when there is a good market price already. But if you think you are losing more in holding, then you can sell your coins with the current price and buy new coins again for investment. Crypto is really risky so you should know how to stand on your own and not just relying on others for decisions.
4617  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the most important lesson you have learned in trading. on: July 25, 2019, 09:19:16 PM
I have been in forex and stock market for more than 10 years and I have learned a lot of things and I am trying to unlearn many things in other to focus on the one that works. Many people do keep a trading journal but I have never done that. I only write done my trading plan and strategies. In 2017, I came into cryptocurrency trading and tried to abandon the forex and stock trading and though there look similar I see some differences in stability and volatility. Cryptocurrency is volatile and in a few minutes, you can lose all your capital or miss a great opportunity.  the greatest thing I have learned is: when people are commenting "bitcoin is going to $20,00, bitcoin is hitting $50,000 before the end of the month! Be careful and sell because the market is about to reverse. If people started commenting that bitcoin is falling to $5500 or $3000" it means the time to buy and I have followed this simple strategy in trading and it seems the best investment strategy that follows professional's stocks investors trading principles. I will like you to share your stake on this so we can all learn.
Don't trade with your emotions. If you will be lose by the emotions you are feeling then it could not be a profitable in your trades. Let us execute our trades using our set of plan and if it goes wrong, we should not blame ourselves. Because many people, even pro traders are losing money because of the market condition.
I have learned to control my emotions and be patient when trading. Because trading itself is very risky having a market price that changes from time to time so traders should keep on monitoring the price charts so they won't go wrong. And controlling my greed is one thing that helps me too to make more profits than losing the other way.
4618  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trump's statement against cryptocurrency on: July 24, 2019, 07:01:11 PM
In my opinion, even though the US has almost confirmed cryptocurrency through its presidential statement Donald Trump, cryptocurrency activities continue as usual. It could be that Trump's intention is not negative for Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Regarding the future of Cryptocurrency, what if we only see it for some time to come.
Trump has brought negative and positive feedbacks to the people all about cryptocurrency but i have strong faith in crypto particularly bitcoin that it will not be affected that much just like when China had banned bitcoin. Transactions will still occur naturally and that no one can stop crypto enthusiasts even the president himself.
4619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celebrities you probably don't know were(are) aggressive gamblers on: July 24, 2019, 06:33:05 PM
Not a surprising list to be honest, gambling often becomes a pass-time for the wealthy. However, like most things the thrill of the game can corrupt and turn even celebrities into puppets.

That being said, most of these can afford to lose a fair whack without it affecting their life circumstances.
Yeah right mate, gambling is for every one and if our celebrities are willing to gamble it’s good news because it will increase the popularity of gambling in the world. I think we should find more celebrities to tell them about gambling. It is open way of earning money anyone can use it, some use gaming to earn money some to become famous and some for time pass
Gambling is already popular in the world even if it will not be played by celebrities because our ancestors before have already introduced gambling. But since gambling is for everyone, and addiction of it is not already new, so no wonder there are still a lot of celebrity gamblers who are more addicted to gambling than those names listed in the examples.
4620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc dump. It is time for some alts to recover against BTC on: July 24, 2019, 03:50:08 PM
I am seeing btc can dump to as low as $7700 level. I think it is not the end of BTC bull run but as BTC dominance so high and alts bleeding from January against BTC i think it is time now for some alts to recover.

XRP went down from 10000 sat to as low as 2800 sat. My bet goes to XRP this time and i think can recover to 4500 - 6000 sat area.
If pick good alts maybe it can recover when bitcoin price dump. But i think XRP is not a bad coin to pick. Because it have a lot of supporters, maybe my choice after ETH and XLM lumens. Or maybe pick Litecoin is good too.
Based on my own analysis, if bitcoin price fails and experiencing a price dropdown, altcoins will follow. But the fact that bitcoin had risen up but still altcoins are still in a low price, it only proves that altcoins will really have its own time to recover and not just following the path of bitcoin.
