4601  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: handling bitcoin volatility on: January 03, 2020, 04:42:14 PM
Everyone who has ever traded for more than a couple of hours have had episodes where their trades are wrecked because of bitcoin volatility reflecting on the whole market.

What tips do you guys have regarding protecting yourself from bitcoin sudden moves?

There are few tips to handle it, one of them is to do an action whenever it starts moving. For example, you sell Bitcoin whenever the price starts to move down and Buy when it starts to move up. It's gonna be hard though since you don't know how far it's gonna move and you may need to pay more attention and be aware of every move, but try to apply this to be safe.
That's basically what a day trader have been doing and it's really hard though specially if the market is not that too unstable. Less volatility movement meaning less profit for a day and that is so stressful if you'd ask me. Best is to hold it until you see some huge movement in the market.
Patience could have a big role in that position but somehow, some never think.it was helpful and insisted that they are right. I understand how stressful for us with the market like this but if you can manage it perfectly, it all be fine and run smoothly.

Theres no such thing about perfect management specially we are dealing or fighting with price volatility.Patience would really be mainly test out yet we wont know on what would be the next price on next minute.
Decisions will depend on certain situation and sometimes intuitions do really also play a role in this investment or trading activity of ours.Handling wont be easy but due to experience and long time
engaging with volatile price then you would somewhat get used to it as further as it goes. All takes time and you should be smart.

Post some coins you wish to sell for BTC I’ll deem if I want to buy

Why not simply buy out on exchangers? Unless if you do look for shitcoins on someones stash?
4603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Bet Or Gamble Before New Year, Or On The New Year on: January 03, 2020, 12:36:07 PM
I don't usually believe on this kind of beliefs to start your new year with a win, so no matter it is before, during and after, if I want to bet and win, I will do it. This is pure luck for me, and betting in any of this time frame will not impact on the chances of winnings that you could have to play. Just enjoy your new year no matter what outcome will be there.

You are right! There's no thing that do affect your luck no matter what day you do play on the entire year.It wont mind nor depend if its a special occasion or not
because outcomes will always depend on how lucky you are.

What differs here is on the time you do able to spend since we know that it is holiday which is more worth to spend time together with our family.
4604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin experience in 2019 on: January 03, 2020, 11:46:44 AM
Hey I'm back. haven't been on the forum for 1.5 yrs. Been on Twitter. But yeh 2019 was a good year for me in crypto.  1. I had too much in alt coins ,tron, and didn't gain much of it. My stack went all the way up. From btc. Then I saw my stack crashed down lol. It was amazing. But yeh still got a chunk back from hodling in 2017. I have been buying the whole year from 11k down. Little by little. I stayed for the 2020, 100k price well that didn't happen. Let's see the halvening now. Also stayed for the 1 million price prediction. I feel stocks is running n gunning at a good pace. But I'm still stacking satoshis.

Stacking is good but invest only on the amount that you can afford to lose.Being too optimistic isnt bad but dont expect too much yet things you mentioned is hard.
100k? It takes time. 1M? It is somewhat impossible.Thing here is that you do accumulate btc no matter on what would be the price in the future but for sure you would
able to break even that 11k entry point of yours and by the way, welcome back to this forum mate.
4605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decisions for a better life on: January 03, 2020, 09:20:16 AM

Gambling is only for fun, I don't call myself as an addicted gambler, so I will probably stop gambling if I get to the point where I need to choose between my family or gambling.

You cannot really replace one permanent thing with the other that is less important such as gambling. Gambling may make you rich and wealthy but, you still cannot replace your family. Family is one's true wealth, even if you ain't got nothing your family will help you get by everyday and that makes someone truly complete.
family is the only thing that we cannot afford to lose guys, never forget that everyone will leave us but not our family, they will always keep tracking our activities because they are concern about our living habits.

i am afraid that i will choose gambling towards my family because i would rather lose everything in this world but not them.

But actually there are people who do exchange up their family due to their gambling addiction. Its an awful thing but people already done it without even
thinking carefully on whats the importance of their own family which they're always on your side in bad times and good.Life do works on that way and
if you are willing to exchange it with gambling then its your choice.
4606  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What kind of crypto trading do you recommend with $50 investment? on: January 03, 2020, 08:24:20 AM
You could day trade but you might stress yourself out of it due to how focused you should be in the graph indicators as you buy and sell your coins. I would advise to invest it all in BTC for now especially if you're a newbie. You still need to grow that 50 bucks of yours because that won't get you a lot everywhere for now.

Funds of $50 are still lacking to invest at this time because they will generate small profits but the risk of loss is large enough, you need to learn to maximize your performance in trading so you know which coins have the potential to rise in the near term.
Of course buying bitcoin would be the right suggestion but for me $50 is not enough and need to add more funds to invest you.
It isnt really that enough and i would see those amounts to be good to be used as a practice fund and later on you would try to put even more bigger amounts if you can already trade.

It will be up to you if you decide if you simply hold or accumulate or just try to trade it for short term. This isnt much a difference when you trade up small amounts because you cant
barely feel the profits if you do go in green.
4607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: January 03, 2020, 07:12:54 AM

NBA has released temporary results from the NBA All-Star Voting which has been going on for about a week. Keep in mind that this is only the first round and is not final, so all sequences can change later. So what do you think about the temporary results? Is the player you vote already on the list?
No questions asked for Lebron, Giannis and Luka. Its quite surprising on the top 3 guards votes on East which they are just too near to each other.  Cheesy
4608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The best crypto projects created in 2018-2019? on: January 03, 2020, 05:34:49 AM
I didn't encounter some new projects within this past 2 years but I think there are more better projects that are created in 2019 compare to 2018.

I wish that this year will be a new beginning for the new crypto projects. There are many projects and altcoins now in the current market (currently almost 5k on CMC) so the quest for becoming a successful altcoin will be hard but who knows. Can we see a new altcoin right now that will emerge from the bottom and will be one of the best projects of the year (like what happened to ChainLink last year).
After that 2017 bull run and the do happens that bear market or crash.I havent tend nor plan to look into those projects in past 2 years thats why
i cant pinpoint which one is good yet i do already generalize that most of the are already trash yet we know on how the market become when it comes to
altcoins.I dont see anything new but somehow the coins suggested or mentioned on here are quite good but i do still failed to look into this.
4609  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC TO 5K$ soon on: January 03, 2020, 05:17:30 AM
For last 6- 7 months btc price was around of 7.5k$ , now this support level is no longer, that mean btc is ready to dump hard.
Either way because theres no such thing about precise prediction towards this very volatile and unpredictable market. It can dump nor pump without knowing it.
$5k is most likely to happen unless if there were negative news that floats around or a catalyst that would drive the price down.It isnt really necessary though
yet price can move without these news.So its still an unsure thing, as a trader or investor you should prepare on what would be the things that lies ahead.
4610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Jessie Vargas vs Mikey Garica on: January 03, 2020, 03:40:08 AM
My money would surely be with Mikey Garcia on here. When we do talk about Experience and KO percentage then its clear who do have the edge but doesnt mean that Vargas wont have a chance but this
wont really be an easy fight specially for a heavy puncher Garcia.Same as said above where the dog do have some good odds but i wont still risk up.
4611  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoiners on here have actually used bitcoin/crypto for commerce? on: January 03, 2020, 03:20:12 AM
I use bitcoin as a payment for utilities and there is nothing like this. I also use Bitcoin as a payment for everything that interests me in everyday life.
This is so exciting and relieving to see the practical applications of bitcoin in real life. We need more and more people to use bitcoin for paying the dues of their daily utilities and needs so that other people can get attracted to this currency as well. We need more and more people in this market to get it legalized all over the world. Legalization will further increase the value of bitcoin leaving all of us richer.
I would love to have the opportunity to use bitcoin in my everyday life but there are no businesses accepting bitcoin in my community, in fact I have even take the time to ask if those businesses focusing in technology have any desire to accept bitcoin as a form of payment and most of those owners have never heard of bitcoin and that is really disappointing because it means I will not be able to use my bitcoin to buy the stuff I want in a long time.
Everyone expects the same and the same as me to be able to use bitcoin as a payment in everyday life like fiat, but for now I can only use it to convert bitcoin to fiat to use any payment.
but with the growth of bitcoin that continues to grow well and sooner or later bitcoin will definitely function as a means of payment, it only takes time and patience to prove everything.
Adoption is still on the move and thats why we cant make use of our btc to use it on daily basis due to this pace where it isnt really accepted worldwide but at least
we do see that there were already merchants that do consider out on using or accepting btc or crypto as a payment and for a certain crypto user do live on that country
would really benefit out in terms of payment option.Theres no need for us to convert from time to time if we do tend to use it up when purchasing goods or services.
4612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: January 03, 2020, 03:04:07 AM
Why it is very important to always have control when gambling and its the number one we should have
  • Many people gamble without thinking and spend all his/her money remember that you spend hours earning that money for your family and also for yourself but our responsibility is bigger
than anything else, because there are times that we for about this things, and forget that we have a family to feed for me its okay to spend some money for gambling but there are rules you
need to control your emotions because i saw people who spend all their money while their children have nothing to eat, bills not settle and at the end of the day they spend their times in the
streets ending is the commit crimes children don't go to school i hope everyone will remember this and be able to help everyone here , what im saying is its okay to gamble but don't compromise
    your families

therefore gambling that we will do should never ever use the money we will give to our families, but bet using the money left over from the details we previously shared for the most important purposes first so that the gambling that we do later does not will have a heavy burden, so as not to force yourself to always win in gambling that we will do and be able to make the game more calm
Family needs are the most important thing that must be fulfilled. Because there is no place for us to return to when we are in a difficult situation other than gathering with family. After all that is fulfilled we are free to do anything calmly without any pressure and it is very useful to control emotions in playing gambling.
Family is the most valuable thing in the world and theres no such thing nor activity that would able to break even with that.
We know that theyre the only ones who would be there for you in times of good or bad. Gambling wont give you that so
you should be sensible on which one you would prioritize.Everything should be balanced and theres nothing bad with gambling if you
do know on what you are doing.
4613  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you hold on a trade. on: January 02, 2020, 06:28:56 PM
I strictly stick to my targets. Whatever profit I have decided upon along with the stop loss is my exit point whatever happens first. I usually do swing trades which last for a week or so. That's the ideal durations of my trades.
Setting the target beforehand and then sticking to it helps me keep emotions out of the trades. But along with doing wing trades, I too have an investment meant for long term. But that is only the amount I can afford to lose.
Swing trades is preferable if you dont have much time to go with active trading.Same as yours i do strictly stick to my goals or targets.
There are circumstances that you would need to cut off losses to prevent more damage or simply taking profits once you do saw a possible
pullback.Emotions is a big factor and you do need to control it and sometimes intuition does really work.

4615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Amount Of Available Dice Rolls Per Day on: December 29, 2019, 04:22:40 PM
Dices are the best place to lose your money if you are careless. But if you automate things, then you are destined to lose loads of money.. You always need a keen eye on the rolls to get bigger hit.
Well we do have that common perception towards gambling and it doesnt surprise me really anytime people do talk this way.
Come to think that not all the times we do lose neither you do automate or not.

Answering the topic about on how many rolls you can do on a dice site on a particular day then it would be infinite and just like what others
say that it will vary or depend on how long your capital or money would last.
4616  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🗝🔑Bitcoinkey.io🔑🗝 Win EXPENSIVE Games very CHEAP! ⭐💲 on: December 29, 2019, 11:07:17 AM
<....>
What I understood about op is that people can have a chance to win expensive games very cheap as what op mentioned. So if you ask me about it, honestly I understand this site is more like a lottery which you spin and wait for the result if you win the game or not. I did check their site and I came up with that idea is because of this https://bitcoinkey.io/manual and the word "Try Your Luck to win expensive games".

exactly!  Grin
Oh i get it now!

Just a tip, its better to post this on game forums yet im sure there are only a few who are quite familiar with steam games on this forum-
You would surely get more possible buyers if you do post up into an appropriate place and also its a good thing for advertising btc at the same time.
What yah think?
4617  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🗝🔑Bitcoinkey.io🔑🗝 Win EXPENSIVE Games very CHEAP! ⭐💲 on: December 28, 2019, 07:34:21 PM
can it be considered gambling ?
I would rather post it in the Services section if I were you
since you can buy the game you want directly from what I understood
basically , the site got electronic keys in bulk with a substantial discount and is distributing them / selling them this way in a form of a game
good thing they accept crypto , it is a good way to introduce cryptocurrencies to the gamer's audience , if there are any unfamiliar with it , that is
Want to say the same thing which this isnt really appropriate on gambling board but rather in marketplace or services board would be relevant.

The only thing i do see which is bargain to this site is this one, which is really very cheap.

OP, do these prices are real? too good to be true imho
4618  Economy / Gambling / Re: LiveMines.com Closed Beta | Livemines.com Bitcoin Minesweeper | Free Bits* on: December 26, 2019, 11:54:15 AM
I think it is a good mining site project because all we see that they are only focused on the most progressive and fast moving coin which is bitcoin. And the good thing about this site is the assurance of being fair because mine position are choosen before the game and can verify after the game ends so you are free from any manipulation.

Focusing on bitcoin only is good but we cant deny the fact that many other coins are being used on gambling industry such as eth, ltc, doge, and some other coins and many gamblers prefer to use other coins than bitcoin because of some reasons. So it is always better to accept more than just bitcoin as the payment method.
They might consider on adding it up if they would really saw a demand of having an another payment or deposit option.
Having alts is much preferable rather than focusing only with Bitcoin but for now they should listen up on what most
people been suggesting on here.Good to see a minesweeper game nowadays because people cant play on satoshimine anymore
or they do already close their registration.
4619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Purposes to play gambling, except being rich on: December 25, 2019, 02:10:45 PM
No one would be rich from gambling in my opinion, because once a person wins big, then the next day he will lose again and again, so that the victory money finally runs out too. For me playing gambling just to fill in spare time when I'm bored.
One of the most common reasons why people want to play gambling they want to become wealthy because it is easy to earn money if you win just a single game. But there's more reason most of us want to play gambling to satisfy our desire we have a different passion for playing. Sometimes desire to have money to become rich and sometimes willingness to fulfill our emptiness in life want to find some thrill and full of excitement that you cannot find in just simple card games.

When it comes on finding excitement or leisure times then each person are really different. Some might consider other activities aside
from gambling and some would just simply stick on playing.Who wouldnt mind on becoming rich when we do gamble? For sure majority
will really have that kind of mindset on becoming rich since we know that results are instant when we do gamble and this is the
wrong thing on most people.
4620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Simulation/Machine Learning Effects on Gambling on: December 23, 2019, 08:11:06 PM
Here's the questions,
Is this really possible on gambling(any form)?
It is not illegal?

No, unlike any other sports gambling game horse racing has very basic information to analyze and can be simulated very quickly and have a result in a very short time. but in case of other sports gambling like football, basketball etc. there are too many variables to consider and it would take a long time to simulate every player of the game.
When it comes to number of variable on where you do need to study and analyze on then i do agree with this point yet in horseracing you are
just dealing a horse and with its stats but the thing here is you would need to choose up lots of numbers yet you cant easily decide if both
horses are almost identical on record. So it will still vary sometimes into your intuition or guts.About AI, it isnt really that illegal yet as said by other
it do only collects and analyzes horses stats nothingless.
