4601  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Investing in Bitcoin Casinos are really worth it? on: August 14, 2016, 07:17:03 AM
I think invest on bitcoin casino is not worth
because sometimes we can get minus profits if the playerss of the casinos always get win
but if the player getting big lose we can get big profits too
in fact we cant control our investement better invest on other ways

That is a thing very rare to happen. The House wins most of the time. Every investmemt is a risk, whether it's a Casino or anything else.
4602  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will hit $3k-$4k by end of 2017 on: August 14, 2016, 07:14:12 AM
I don't see it going that high by next year, but it could definitely see around $1000 again.

If the bitcoin block size is increased to 2MB or even 4MB, the bitcoin price will rise to $2000 or $4000.

I don't think there is any connection between block size and price pump. But for sure 3k$ can't be reached within end of next year. May be price may get stable over 1k$ from end of 2017.
There is no evidence that the price pump is due to the block size. The debate has been going on for months, so that's not the reason. On top of that, price spikes and drops are normal for Bitcoin. So there is nothing significant about this normal price fluctuation.

I don't think it's about block size either, but I think we'll see a high price starting from the spring of 2017. It happened every four years, it'll happen again. I hope it will! But if we'll see the approx. same increase as we have seen in 2013 ($10 -> $1000), we'll see Bitcoin priced at $65k or even more! Cheesy sounds like a dream, lol.
4603  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: August 14, 2016, 07:10:08 AM
You can save money by creating different portfolios of investments. We have to divide in ratio proportions how much we'd want to save and in what kind of investment scheme. The schemes could vary from Fixed/Recurring deposits with banks, trading in stock markets, mutual funds, Public provident funds and various other methods.
In savings you will not think of investment first, let us say you only receive a little amount of salary, the question is are you still gonna save? The answer is absolutely yes, you need to save as that is compulsory and that would take care of your future in case there are emergencies that would require you to spend money.

Saving is actually good for the people who are not rich and are not earning a lot of money every month or everyday because if someone earns a lot he does not need to save anything because he will always have extra money, but the ones who earn a little that can only run their house for the day then they should just a small percent of it.
Well for me i just save bitcoins for my future to use it in my own business or to buy an house and lot this is just my dream for my future and for my family..  saving is a good thing for those dreaming for their future.. if you spend a lot of money or bitcoin for nothing and you dont saving you will never be rich even you are making a lot of money.

Saving is really important for future, in fact even if you are earning millions but if you are not saving then its useless, as you never know what future holds for you.

If you want to save for the future, I'd recommend you to do it in Gold. The price will only keep rising year after year. People will be looking for Gold soon, as it's the only one which can be used as a currency in case of a financial collapse.
4604  Economy / Speculation / Re: PANIC BUYING !!!!!!! on: August 14, 2016, 03:59:17 AM
i think we should worry more about the fact that mark karpeles still holds like 400-500k btc. the bitfinex hackers can't dump all their coins at once without getting noticed. they have to mix and sell their coins in batches of 5-10btc per time. with such a pace the market won't feel it.

I'd say that the market would rather feel the lack of 120,000 bitcoins that got stolen at Bitfinex. In this way, if an exchange is hacked every month (okay, every other month), the price of remaining bitcoins would certainly hit the sky (and then the moon)...

And Bitcoin would become as rare as hens' teeth

getting coins off the market will definitely have a good impact on the price eventually, but well, these coins that are off the market right now, will at some point find their way back one way or the other. but then again, i am glad the reality is different.
But as we saw getting coins off the market does not have a good impact on the price if they have gone through hacking an online wallet.

You are not given to change the simple truth that price depends on the balance of supply and demand. If supply is diminished (for whatever reason) whereas demand remains the same, the price will necessarily rise. Indeed, hacks like that of Bitfinex influence negatively both supply and demand (people may start buying less and selling more having less faith and trust in Bitcoin)...

But you still can't escape the laws of market price determination
That's true, the hack has make the market affected a bit but we have recovered now as evidence by the price increase again. The overall principle will always apply in bitcoin which you have mentioned the law of supply and demand and since we are increase in numbers, demand will eventually increase.

Hacks and spikes in Bitcoin's price are already well-known by us, the wallet holders. This is how Bitcoin went up from nothing to hundreds of dollars. We're going to recover and like every time, we're then going to get the price even higher than before the hack. Plus the halving, I predict we're all gonna have a good time soon! Cheesy
4605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling made for kids???? on: August 14, 2016, 03:54:26 AM
I don't think so, since even adults face problems with it.

But they're still playing it. We're known for liking dangerous stuff most of the time, because it gives you adrenaline. Kids are getting used to gambling from video games already. A lot of us are already addicted to gambling. We know it's dangerous, but we are still doing it for fun.
4606  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing Bitcoins? on: August 14, 2016, 03:51:06 AM
Gold has the same attributes and you can't invest gold. Bitcoin has the same attributes. People need to stop looking for places to invest it. Most are scams. Just like gold hold and hope for price appreciation.

What?! Since when is Gold something you can't invest in?! It's going to be the ONLY currency that will keep rising in its price and that will be used in case of any worldwide disaster. The richest people on this planet are investing in gold and making huge profits all the time.
4607  Other / Archival / Re: how to earn bitcoin fast? on: August 14, 2016, 03:48:02 AM
we want to  know how fast you earn 1 bitcoin? so that a newbie like me can learn more about bitcoin  and gives us encouragement to pursue bitcoin Grin
Don't be rush of what ever what you want to do, promising 1btc easy is only for those ponzi and hyip,  but if you want that 1btc without investment you can start at these forum earn with signature campaign is much better rather than investing in ponzi's.
Earning in signature campaign takes a long to reach 1 bitcoin. Through ponzi's and hyip  you can earn it easily but it involves more risk. So earning from signature campaign seems better than gaining large amounts from ponzi's and losing.

Investing in Ponzi schemes is a HUGE mistake. Your money can be gone in ant second, exactly like in gambling but.. even more addictive. Signature Campaign is the only way you can go for free. As a Newbie, of course that you don't get enough a day/week/month to get 1BTC fast. But for high ranks, that would be pretty easy for the task they got to do: posting. There are campaigns you can earn hundreds of dollars per month from, if you would post as much as they accept.
4608  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: August 14, 2016, 03:44:12 AM
If bitcoin's price dropped to $1, i think i will give it all to the community. Because $1 is really don't' have price for me, a huge down from -+$600 into $1. I hope it never happen.

You need to have at least 100BTC to do something with it then. $0.5, $5 or even $10 would help with nothing. Selling is a bad idea, because you would already loose hundreds of bucks... Now loosing a few more dollars wouldn't do much more damage. But I can't see BTC going that down because people would go and buy Bitcoins, so the price would be stable. If it would go to $1, everyone will buy and it will skyrocket back to $600.
4609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC Dump: I told you on July 3rd.... on: August 14, 2016, 03:39:39 AM
People missed one thing before the halving, at December 2015 bitcoin were worthing 250-300 dollars, at January this year bitcoin jumped to 400 for no reason besides the bitcoin halving coming, soo the current value is the right one and maybe a bit above the real value, that could be 500-600 dollars.  Soo dont expect too much from bitcoin, i believe bitcoin will end the year at 700 dollars but if it stands at this value the halving has already made its presence.

I don't think it's going to stand at this value. People will have to invest again, so we have to wait for the investors to buy some more BTC. Trades and investments are never going to stop, you're going to see these guys around all the time. Everyone is hoping for a price increase like four years ago. If that would be real.. expect the price to go up to $100k next year.
4610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Skill Work? on: August 14, 2016, 03:33:49 AM
This is kinda funny reading the comments here.  Gamblers tend to ascribe to their luck an aspect of skill that is far too much.  It's magical thinking.   OP was right in describing the second category as mostly chance.   Skill does play a role,  but I think it's much less than a lot of players believe.

Agreed there is only one skill based casino game I know of and that's this game called c.o.r.e. on betterbets.io
Other than that it's luck to think otherwise is madness.

Very precisely, many gamblers who contended that luck is a major factor in getting the victory, so that when they do gambling 99% how used is indiscriminate (original play) so that when they are aware of. They are very angry, embarrassed, lethargy, because large losses. Skills in gambling is absolutely needed, because gambling is a game

How can you have skills when the numbers or cards are random? You never know what card or number to expect. Therefore, you can't play with 'skills' when it comes to gambling! The only skill we can have is to know when to deal or stand or whatever you have to do.
4611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your reason to gamble? Fun or profit? on: August 14, 2016, 03:21:02 AM
the reason to gambling is for both fun amd profits
fun without profits is so suck
but profits without fun its meaningless, right?

We're working and earning money without having that much fun. Gambling for profit is the most dangerous way you can go, so you better play just for fun. It's dangerous because it makes you greedy fast. You want profit, no losses so you're automatically going to double or triple the bet every loss. You can play with an affordable amount instead, which would bring you much more profit & you wouldn't be sad if you lost. Gambling is a risk.
4612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you trust to bitcoin casinos? on: August 14, 2016, 03:17:01 AM
I do not believe a bit of security and trust a casino website. some casino even like to take all of its own money.

There are scam sites, and legit sites. You only need to be careful before entering one of those. It's easy to find out whether it is legit or not. We've got google, you can look it up anytime. Use the most popular ones - these aren't going to scam you.
4613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: August 14, 2016, 03:14:53 AM
I guess my answer is the same as most people in this thread that gambling will ruin lives. is currently in the beginning, gambling would be nice, but after that the pleasure it will soon disappear because of disappointments and losses.

It never disappears for me. Although I have lost money there too, I am now capable of controlling myself and loosing isn't a problem anymore. If you are going to a casino, you should already know you're going to risk your money.
4614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to play gambling in a smart way? on: August 14, 2016, 03:13:19 AM
I think playing with small amounts , or playing just for fun, is the best method to play gambling in a smart way.
Playing for fun with small amount of bankroll is the best way(never chase your losses), i've been gambling this way and it's going really good. Cheesy
as time goes by you will increase your bet amount even you start it with small/low amount.
and gambling as a place to get your money doubled in fast way you have to take advantage on it.
by doing small bet you have wasted your opportunity and i think it is not a smart action at all.

Going with smaller bets is always better than going with bigger bets. If you loose 1/10 of your balance, you can stop before going any further. If you have lost 1/1 (all) of it.. what can you save? Nothing, because it'd be gone.
4615  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steem pyramid scheme revealed on: August 12, 2016, 03:46:50 PM
The main reason for which I'm not interested into Altcoins anymore. I have been interested until a few weeks ago. Now I found out there are lots of scams with these Altcoins, so no thank you. Be cautious, guys.
4616  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: August 12, 2016, 03:42:18 PM
imposible because bitcoin only transaction online
only digital curency, is dollar money fiat and accepted goverment all the world
it is possible, people always have their phone so in shops people would be easily able to pay with their phone by using a bitcoin wallet app

It's possible and easy to send and receive money. But confirmations are the worst disadvantage when it comes to payments. It's going to be hard to replace a currency with Bitcoin. It's not only about the payments but also about the fact that it's .. virtual. Old people are going to have a hard time getting used to it.
4617  Economy / Speculation / Re: When Bitcoin will pass 1000 usd again ? on: August 12, 2016, 08:43:32 AM
prepare bitcoin buy at a bargain price
and then hold, you must buy position is price right placed is low
maybe in end year or next year bitcoin go the moon

The bargain price was <$480, a week ago. Now it has to only keep rising. In the end of this year, BTC will rise just like in every year since I knew it.
4618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: August 12, 2016, 08:36:40 AM
its really sad that people sometimes literally cannot control themselves even if they actually understand that they are going to lose, they should seek professional help

Because they want it to happen and they let it happen and let it conquer their lives...Usually it is out of desperation or depression in real life that could result to their excessive gambling... Maybe they have a weak disposition in life, that's my opinion to that.
That could be possible because if you are a person with a good job and has so many responsibilities with your family you cannot give more time in gambling as you need to prioritize things over, gambling addicts are sometimes those teenager that does not thing too much for their lives and just ask money from their parents.

No need to really have a problem in order to be a gamble addict. I didn't have a problem at the time I found dice games, and I'm still addicted. But after a loss of over 50 bucks, I am now able to control myself. I have secured my wallet so I can't deposit cash anymore. But I'm still a gambler.
4619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If gambling is illegal in your country, would you still gamble? on: August 12, 2016, 08:18:39 AM
gambling with bitcoin would never be illegal unless bitcoin itself Is regulated in the country u live in so even if gambling is illegal if bitrcoin isn't recognised as currency its not illegal Cheesy

In the USA, Bitcoin gambling is ilegal AFAIK. Now think about drugs, traffic, crimes. They're ALL illegal. Are there people still doing it?

There are. So people would still find ways to do it, and would do it whether it's illegal or not.
4620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does martingale really works? on: August 12, 2016, 08:06:07 AM
it works on early stage of playing but  in the long run you would suffer losing streaks because  mods would definitely see that strategy and  they would probably busted you out using that martingale even if you have a huge bank roll, losing streaks are unstoppable  Grin You can make some profits of it if you dont let your greediness control you.

This is called Hit and Run strategy. Obviously, it has very little to do with martingale (or martinfail, as fittingly called by an earlier poster) where you sit hours meaninglessly pushing the roll button...

And watching your money evaporate

Martingale doesnt work at all even you use it from the very start you get easily busted and watch your money evaporate same as you said.  In short saying, theres no such strategy  strategy to get profits on gambling. The really hard part is  even you suffer on lossing streaks  you keep pushing the roll button.lol

The "strategy" is basically nothing but hitting a button and typing random numbers. Yea, you can play with lower payout but it's the same thing: going 10 bets to win 1BTC or just a bet. Same profit but longer or shorter time.
