Agreed. Demand is increasing each day. Bitcoin is simply usefull. In japan you can go shoping with bitcoin wallet only. Its also usefull as store of value in hard crysis times. Knowing that the average life expectancy for a fiat currency is 27 years i fill more confortable holding BTC with part of my portfolio. But we dont know where is price based on actual real world demand. How manny on invesotrs bought BTC during bull run only to speculate on it and will drop it as soon as they get bored of stable price or will dump it as soon as btc will drop below 5k. Perhaps real world damand will hold BTC at 5k$ or 2k$ or 500$ but surelly will. And increasing demand will push it up and up creating next bull run and bubble. But its long term vision.

Recently there is only binance. There is no other crypto exchange even close to it.

Binance:
fastest - sharp interface. Orders are on market instantly
Best support - telegrams in close to 30 languages with instant replay from admin
best secured - it even have special system to lock suspicious trades that in last year save custommers coins twice.
higher volume (lower spread)- and its real volume. On other exchanges like Lbank Ubex, Bitforex 90% of trades are fake.
Low fees - 0.075% with bnb.

All other exchanges has looong way to binance. Especialy Tradesatishi with trading volume equal to 0 on 50% coins and spread 1%- 10% on tradable coins and with no reputation.

Also on Oct. 15, blockchain trust company Paxos announced it had issued about $50 million worth of its stablecoin Paxos Standard Token. It might be only fud but if it appear to be big scam you will blame yourself that you knew beafore and didnt do anything. So if any of guys reading this. Drop USDT untill its not too late. Grab any other stable coin. Currently even BTC is stable at 6300

and it might appear more stable than USDT...

That's not an argument against holding / long term investing though. That's an argument against trash altcoins. It is easily possible that someone could have day traded any of the coins you listed (or indeed any coin at all) and also lost 80% or more.

If you pick a coin that has a working product and real world use (such as bitcoin or the tiny handful of altcoins that fulfil this criteria), then holding long term is a completely viable strategy.

Those were coins from top 10 marketcap im 2013. They were like eth now and its hodlers are still waiting for recover.
Name 10 altcoins with working produkt.ETH? Code full of Bugs, unscalable and with eos, stelllar, waves, nem, tron, neo (and mayby 50 more) doing the same.
Even if there are few uniqe coins with working produkt there is no guarantee that they wont become next Yahoo, myspace (google was created seconda but was better same as facebook) and their marketcap is like they already hitted mass adoption.

I think that whales willing to invest big money into market without risk of storing coins may invest via contracts or soonly via ETFs. It will be only next option for whales but i dont thing that it will boost price. Maybe when we will be in bullrun this news will make extra fomo and boost few thousends more into next bubble but in my opinion it wont start next bullrun.

For investors (long term traders) trading fees are unnoticable. They are noticable for daytraders/ short term traders. But for them there are thing that are dozen times more important (like liquidity, spread, trust, interface, sharpness (time from creating order to beeing it anable to fulfill by other trader - simply if i create order and its on market 10 s after, then i cancell it and i have money 20 seconds after - its not for daytrader)

I have 1 feature of good trading platform. Its name has to be Binance. That the best option for regular trading. Its sharp, without fake trades, has great interface, its secured the most. Binance help even users with hacked API kays. It also has highest volume (lowest spread). I've used at liest 10 exchanges (just to utilize shitcoins that i had for free). Noone was even close to binance.

Now abount exchanges that i used or i have something interresting to say

Lbank is scam exchange. Its realy hard to find real trade there. Most of their trades are fake just to boost trading volume on coinmarketcap. I also dont like their withdrawal policy. They had 200$ withdrawal fee for withdrawing USDT. 200$. Trade commision dasnt look important now?

Huobi is not sharp enought. 20 secons - Thats how much time it needs for simple operation like this:

1- creating order
2- beeing able to cancel it
3- having money unlocked for another order
For binance its like as fast as you can click.

For daytrading it might not be enought. Also its interface is no as good as binance is.

Bithumb Interface is soo bad. I didnt tried it because I dont trust it due to very high differences in prices between other exchanges. If noone is arbitraging it something must stink. And im talking abount alt/btc.

Bitfinex is no longer top 10. Its top 16 ATM due to lots of fud related with theter. In my opinion it might be next mtgox

Some of users here are on 90% loss and would do a lot to be in your position. I find daytrading the one and only strategy for current market situation (even if last week looks very green alt/btc ). Hodling is the riskiest strategy. There is no quarantee that your coin will recover.

What if any of above will happend? Your investment will contiously goes to 0. And if you are hodler you will never sell until there will be nothing to sell. When you are buying with hodler strategy you are risking 100% of your investment. I dont think there is more risky way.

Earning on pump and dump grups is like trying to earn in casino. Its not even high risk high reward. Its high risk, low reward. When signal hits telegram coin is instanlty pumped by bots and you, with human reaction - creating order in 3 sec will buy on +100% and sell at +110% (5% profit) and win or buy at +100% and miss opportunity and sell at +10% loosing amost 50% of your investment. Its alwais gambling. I've tried at liest 10 pumps. Jumping into first wave, secod wave, trading on higher volatility and manny more and finally stopped with conclusion that it is possible to earn but 1 lost trade will eat 10 win trades makes it all gamble.

One pump that i've took part in was stopped by 50 btc sell order at +50% and than dumped by users to -30% from inition price. These is example of trade that eats earnings from 10 win trades.

I would stay out of USDT now.

There you can check risk premium for trading theater. Its increasing every day. It means that slowly trader by trader is leaving it to trade with usd. Holding usdt makes you loose 2% this month according to USD. This might accelerate.

Agreed. To start you dont need a lot of money but it becomes more risky with higher capital because higher spreads are on low volume coins. If you place bet and offer and someone will dump into you his coins you might have problem to sell them to someone else without dumping price lower. So i would try this with low bet.

Volume and marketcap are 2 factors that are resposible for higher volatility. Not maximum supply.

To OP. I would oonly daytrade on high volume coins. Those are easier to predict. Low volume/ Low marketcap coins are to susceptible to manipulations. Its so easy to pump 30% or dump 30% coin with daily volume close to 10 btc. You can try do it by yourown (i bet 1-2 btc is enought) but playing in whales game is extremaly risky because if you wont create fomo you will have to sell on big loss.

3000 is too low prediction for me but i agree that 6000 might not hold. Perhaps after breaking 5500-6000 support big whale will appear and use those extra supply from panic selling to buy it and start new bull run. That happends. It may also find another support lower but in my opinion closer to 4.5k range.

Problem with that is that TA lovers alwais like to paint something. Find magic pattern, similatiry. Truth is that chart is only describing past. Its like driving car looking only on back mirror.

1- there is difference between pump from 10$ to 1000$ and from 1000$ to 100 000$ - there needs to be pumped sooo much money. To pump to 1000$ BTC need only street invsotrs. To pump to 10 000$ it needs big whales. To pump to 100 000$ it will need institution investors. To pump to 1 000 000$ it will need countries to store they reseve.

2- if in 2019-2020 we will have global crysis (manny economist agree that it is highly possible) than you can farget about big pumps. There will be lack of trust to invest even in low risk assets. High risk assets will be first to be sold.

Thats why chart, similarity and patters does not work.

Remeber Rotshilds has 50-500 trilion $. They can buy 5000 BTC (not 5 000 coins !. 5 000 time whole BTC with current price of 1 btc). Think about that and than go and look at chart few year ago and predict future... Alwais look at chart and think ... what will whale do. What would i do if i was a whale. Where is the easiest way to earn big money.
