4621  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Daily trade Vs long trade on: October 31, 2019, 04:24:15 AM
All depends on you if you are the type of person that has time to do full time trading, then why not do trading. If you are the type of person, that has less time as you are also doing full time job then maybe a long term will fit for you.

Daily and long term trading are both good, what matters is that you are doing something that will help you and will increase your income.
If the job is full-time and wants to do daily trading, it can actually be done even though the profit is only small, there should be no problem, trading is only to increase side income from the salary. Or you/we can use big capital to make a lot of profit if trading is more important than a full-time job. (I personally do not really like long-term trading, can not be patient)
I think any strategy as long can give profit will be good. But do full time and daily trading is something that really hard to do. If you already good in it, it means you are a good trader and i hope profit always come to you. Because i have experience it by myself, it is really hard especially to manage time when we work from A until B, and then take a rest, and if want to do day trading with aim of short time profit, it means not much time to sleep for me.
4622  Economy / Economics / Re: How many bitcoiners on here have actually used bitcoin/crypto for commerce? on: October 31, 2019, 02:46:28 AM
In past i top up my Steam Wallet with Bitcoin, if me not wrong via Bitpay right. And some VPN i subscribe accept bitcoin as payment too. If international product, i use bitcoin for that 2 things. If from my country there are a lot of services that can help us Indonesian people to pay Bills. But for now i think only a few commerce that still accept bitcoin.
4623  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are You Concerned On Sudden Rise of Bitcoin? on: October 31, 2019, 01:41:56 AM
Last dump, before price back again, i think is correction. For now at least price keep stable like this is already ok for me. I mean, bitcoin price not time yet to pumped a lot, that is why pump and dump is not much for now. But this is only speculation from me, because price still look not really move at current rate. When moved, it will back again.

Yeah I don't know where these people saw the rise on Bitcoin. I am eagerly waiting to selling my half piece Bitcoin for one commitment. If that is really good we can make more investment on BTC as well as other cryptocurrencies.
So we need to look for the best big investment on cryptocurrency to see such sudden growth else nothing will be there for sure.
This is just personal perspective, not means i said if all people like this, usually when price up and down, there are some people who want to take advantage from it like make it better or make it worse, like when price dump they will make speculation for lowest price of bitcoin so other who easily get panic can be affected.
4624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHEN ALTSEASON? are we waiting for nothing? on: October 30, 2019, 04:20:42 PM
Think it's 50/50. What about you?
Will agree with 50/50 maybe. Because when bitcoin increased, not all altcoin is increased too. Usually which already in market for long time or maybe top coin in coinmarketcap only will survived. About tokens, new coins that born from ICO, it sometime can be worse because investor tired to wait price to increased and then sell all of their tokens to bitcoin and wait for higher price.

4626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Coins that have their own Dex (Bitshares, Komodo, ?) on: October 30, 2019, 04:26:54 AM
Wavesdex can be alternative, although sometime not high volume in there, i already tried to sell my coins from bounty in there. And i not see any problem when use WavesDex. Maybe next Binance Dex will use Binance coin as something that can be used in there. So Binance Coin will be next on the list then, by the way i said this because i not try Binance Dex yet.
4627  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: October 30, 2019, 02:17:14 AM

Well, i think we can't blame CMC because they show what is actually happened although it is "fake volume". Maybe those exchanges only want to attract people so people their site. But i think people for now already know which have fake volume, or maybe real volume.  Or if they really doubt want to use the other exchanges or not, they can see people's review in here.

We can't blame coinmarketcap fully because the data on the trading volumes of the exchanges are not theirs to know and gather. But they could be stricter than they are right now and require trading platforms to prove that the volumes they are submitting are real volumes and not fake ones. CMC has to initiate something on this because this is getting rampant. CMC cannot just accept whatever volume data is submitted because if that is so a shitty exchange might suddenly submit that its 24-hour volume is reaching 1 trillion.
I actually don't know what to be the system, but maybe it is automatically updated in CMC. If want to strict about what exchanges can listed in there, it will be hard. Of course site like CMC need cost to maintain their site, and they need income from it. And then, maybe it is something that iresistable. Something that we can't do anything which is already there, and we just need to make research by ourself.
4628  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do we still expect a repeat of 2017 ? on: October 29, 2019, 04:14:01 PM
I am not entirely sure if it would be a "repeat of 2017" the way you think it will be but I do expect a repeat of 2017. The repeat I am talking about is the time bitcoin broke over $1k in 2017 not the $20k. Now, people remember the $20k when they talk about the 2017 but the reality is back in 2014 bitcoin was around 1400 before it fell and never seen anything above after that until 2017, in 2017 the price passed the $1.4k nonchalantly like it was nothing, it wasn't a sudden increase, it wasn't some bull hype run, it was like "we expected for a long time" type of slow increases over periods of months that eventually led to bitcoin being above $1.4k.

Now, that was how the previous ATH was broken, after that we went as high as $20k of course but I feel like next time we go over $20k it will be like that, not a huge increase of %300 suddenly, it would be months of going up and up and up and eventually going above it one day.

Yeah people should more patient, the all time high price in 2017 is also the result of a long wait since price crashed in 2014.
So if we even reach the all time high price this year, we should be more patient and wait for the upcoming bull run, because one thing that i trust, bitcoin demand will explode in the future and the price will be more than 50k eventhough we don't know the exact time when this will happen
I think for next halving, a lot of people already sure it can be pumped. So it is on other people's decision want to keep believe with bitcoin or not. If me i will stay to hold bitcoin no matter what will happen before halving. Maybe with this, word about who be patient is the winner will really happen.
4629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do when a project fails you as abounty hunter or investor on: October 29, 2019, 05:10:29 AM
As investor and bounty hunters, especially i joined translate campaign in past, i can't do anything about it. If investor, when i think it can be saved anymore so i will sell it at current price. Or if project not have value and not listed in exchanges, i don't have any choice beside to keep it in my wallet. When translate whitepaper i always read disclaimer, a lot of project almost have same disclaimer. People not forced to buy the coin at sale and all risk go to investor.
4630  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don't react to the fluctuations on: October 29, 2019, 03:52:52 AM
We have been doing same mistakes again and again that's by reacting to the market fluctuations as either we tend to start buying like there is no tomorrow when we see pump or else panic and empty our coffers for slightest  dump and the reason I am suggesting you all to stop reacting is for the fact that the bitcoin market is going through quick pump and dump from past 4 or 5 days so it will prove fatal if we sell out or buy at this point of time. Just take some time and look observe the trend for week or so before jumping into any conclusion.
Actually in deep of our mind, or in our heart when something not happen or already happened like this, we think we can do it. But when the time come, usually we can be more panic than others. Maybe not we, but only me with other weak holders. When dump or pump come, usually we not want to miss the moment. And then trapped in bull trap or bear trap. But i think it is only the matter of time and experience.

Yes it's all the spur of member where we lose our emotions and get into buying or selling whenever there is a pump or dump to make it profitable for us and I have made same mistakes numerous times until I have made a algorithm for myself about buying and selling and I have not reacted to the recent fluctuations. It's not easy to hold on but losing money make you understand about bull trap or bear trap.
If not with mistakes, we wouldn't learn anything. And that is what people do to get better in trading. Mistake of course it is always happen, like we panic, get FOMO, or maybe make wrong decision about buy and sell. With that we must know our mistake and fix it, at least learn to not do it again and minimize losses although can't get profit. But for me, i only can talk. Because most of my trading activity i am panic.  Grin
4631  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Cryptocurrency Exchanges on: October 29, 2019, 02:02:49 AM
the best cryptocurrency exchange place in my opinion is a binance exchange place, there are already many who say this exchange place is very good and has guaranteed security and indeed this is the advantage of a binance exchange place that can be a favorite of many traders.

Currently Binance is not the number one exchange in terms of volume. But Binance is number one here in bitcointalk based on comments here. Majority of my friends too use Binance. The same reasons, security and reliability compared to the newer ones. BNB is also the most valuable of all exchange tokens.
Volume can be faked, but people's review will tell the truth. It is good in here when people feel doubted when want to use an exchanges, or maybe any sites related of crypto ask in here first. For me, what my favourite exchanges also Binance. Listed a lot of coins and tokens, have very good reputation, simple to use even we don't need to do KYC and can trade in Binance.
I often use Binance to trade because this is a very friendly exchange with all investors and the trading volume at this exchange is very high so there won't be too many liquidity problems. Currently, Binance has gained everyone trust and I believe that this exchange will continue to grow stronger in the near future because Binance only lists good projects.

In fact, in the top 10 exchanges at CMC there is usually no appearance of Binance and this is really funny. Hopefully, CMC will eliminate fake trading volumes so that investors can know exactly which exchanges are best.

4633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What to expect now? on: October 28, 2019, 02:56:22 PM
Unfortunately, the daily 24 hour chart shows that the price is probably going to dump down again to the $8000-$7500 range over the next week. I'm judging this based on Bollinger bands, RSI, and MACD trading indicators.
I don't believe in any of that, but you might end up being correct anyway.  I will make a mental note that you stated those signs indicated a drop within a week, and I'll be paying attention to the price to see if you're right.  I'm constantly looking for evidence that there's something to technical analysis.

My little bag of altcoins has performed nicely in the past 2 days, so I am hoping bitcoin doesn't crash.  It did fall a couple hundred dollars overnight, which I had sort of expected for some reason.  Price action usually happens when I'm asleep, and I just didn't know if it was going to be up or down.
Speculation thread like this shouldn't be something that we use as a benchmark for our investment. I mean will agree with you, usually if people said bitcoin dump, i will more aware or maybe set an alarm in case people's speculation really happen. And if people say that will pump, maybe i set a target where i want to sell my coin.
4634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When Inviting Do Away With The Investment Part First on: October 28, 2019, 08:30:39 AM
If you are going to successfully invite people to look at Cryptocurrency, you should Do Away With The Investment Part First
the first thing is to explain how it was created and the creator's idea, why it was created and what are the benefits
if you make the investment part first chances are people will look at it as a Ponzi Scheme and they will shun it.

Of course it is right. For me, explain how bitcoin can be profitable like when we said "join bitcoin trading, will make your life better" is bad idea. Because they will only think about it. A lot of people usually think only about what can be advantage from them. What make me afraid is when they ignore the risk, or maybe not want to know about it, after lose in trading or get anything bad in crypto industry, they will blame bitcoin.

4636  Economy / Economics / Re: What makes a Fiat worthless? on: October 27, 2019, 11:41:47 PM
We have come across so many national currency becoming worthless and recently we have heard the news of barter system in Zimbabwe due to the fall in the value of national currency but what really makes the Fiat worthless? Is it corruption or war or national economical crisis? Or the National GDP which makes it fall?
In every news usually because of inflation. When they mint a lot of fiat, because of a lot of aspects. Their money will be worthless, or maybe although they have a lot of money, it's value is not like what it's value before. And then if it's keep happen, maybe like what already we saw in news from Venezuela which get hyper inflation.
4637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: i failed in day trading on: October 26, 2019, 05:04:29 PM
So you were asking about stocks? I don't think you could get that much of a great tip here unless there is one that is going big outside crypto which is particularly a low probability of that trader being in here.
There should be similarities at least between day trading in stocks and crypto, it could be just the methodology on how you trade they differ at.
Correct because majority here is either bitcoin holder or altcoins holder. Trading is trading and the basic rules do not change in both markets. However, the trend is crypto currencies so a stock trader cannot really find some good answer here. Also, if he has already failed then he should try changing his asset or his trading type. I would suggest short term trading with bitcoin. That is a nice start. What do  you say?
If i face problem like OP, which failed in trading stock, maybe time to change to crypto. If too tired to do day trading, maybe OP can do long term trading with BTC or other big altcoins so he don't need to force himself to make analysis everyday. Day trading usually look very profitable, but i think to make analysis everyday, need stamina and fresh mind and not everyone can do it.
4638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: bounty hunters and Exchanges. on: October 26, 2019, 07:57:27 AM
As a Hunter, how many exchange accounts are you expected to have. i have accounts in over 10 exchanges. it is appalling but i have not choice because i have to sell or convert my new earn tokens to an affordable cryptocurrency. is there any limits to the number of exchanges we should join as a bounty hunter?
i believed that more exchanges will still appear in the future.
what is your opinion towards owning a multiple exchange for trading.
Maybe only less than 5, i am not really like trading as usual. So maybe exchange i use to sell reward from bounty translation. Maybe Binance, Idex is that i use often. And make account it will be good because the token can be listed anywhere.
4639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: today the market looks excited on: October 26, 2019, 04:33:43 AM
Did you remember what happened with Bitcoin when China ban it before?
You mean in 2017 china banned bitcoin right? If it is,then i remember that time.after banned bitcoin in china, btc price fall 4k$ to 2k$.after few days btc rises and finally btc raised ATH in 2017.
Price look like manipulated with news. Because it is happen so many times.  Grin But i believe for now people wouldn't really trapped to that anymore. Because it is already happen so many times, if people still trapped it means they not learn.
4640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does the discipline help in gambling? on: October 26, 2019, 01:37:48 AM
How strong does a character need to be to set aside some amount of money on a weekly gamble?
What needs to happen to make it happen?
Does the great loss solidify our character?
What exactly does it mean to discipline yourself in gambling (in the narrow sense)?
Should we be disciplined in gambling, does it mean that we are better at gambling, or that we put less money at stake with more enjoyment, less fear, adrenaline, etc. ?
Me interested in answering the last question?

Discipline in gambling maybe can be work when we play skill game in gambling. Like card game / poker, maybe when play much of it we can know what people will do with their strategy in game. But for online poker, will be hard to read other player's face and emotion behind it because we not meet them in real life.
