Actually in every task it needs strategy and skills so as in gambling,it needs skills and strategy.Once you gamble right from the start you have your plans on how you can win and earned,not that just by putting up to something without even thinking.Don't just say it was just for fun ,once your into gambling to earned and win matters,so it takes skills.
I don't think gambling is skill-based. Just a few categories, like sports betting. Except them, it's all about luck. I don't consider BlackJack being a skill-based game either, not even partially. There are still random cards, you never know what you're going to get. |

I am greedy and I acknowledge this fact. I have lost a shitload of money trying to win the jackpot. Its an illusion which is becoming an obsession trying to win a jackpot and be rich and finally to be able to quit gambling. A jackpot of 500 BTC would be enough for me and I live dreaming that one day I will hit it.
It usually takes a very, very long time. And except that.. in the end, when you will get the reward of 500BTC, it might seem a lot but if you calculate you would have wagered more money than that. It's a strategy for the casinos, because otherwise everyone would win so easy. E.g. to get the 9900x payout on Dice games, you have to roll about 10-12k bets (I've tested it many times with prerolls). If you calculate it.. let's say you want to win 9900 satoshis. You are going to play with 1 satoshi. It would take you 10-12k satoshis to finally win. The loss can be less or more than that. Same thing goes for 4950x, 2475x and so on.. until 1.01202x. this is the strategy. |

It's possible, but you've got pretty low chances to be among the lucky ones. There are only a few guys reaching this stage, and you should never rely on betting. It might bring you enough money to live for a few days, weeks or even months but in the long run it's a loss every time.

Gamblers should know when to stop. It totally depends on your own mentality. If you are one who is chasing big profits - well good luck because that will never happen. If you are the type of people who are happy with their small profits then you cash out as soon as you reach a limit or stop betting when you lose a certain fraction of your bankroll.Keep good statistics of these they are very important.

Crypto-games.net is very good for investment, because their bankroll is only 300 BTC and they share 80% of the profit with investors. I'm investing there for 4 months and never regretted it. I'm wondering though, what is the approximate % return you got in those 4 months (I understand you don't want to specify the exact amount in btc.)? It looks like a good investment in the long run, especially since players regualarly go on tilt losing more than just the house edge by making too big bets. A good winning streak and the player actually stopping to cash out can severely cut into any profits though. It's 4-5% per month on average. For me it is knowledge. Because even if you start with a small amount it can get big with your knowledge on how to play it. If you have the right knowledge you will know when to stop playing and control yourself from getting greedy. Luck is just a bon us in gambling it doesn't happen everytime. But until you get this knowledge you're talking about, you'll keep on loosing and loosing. It's part of the game. Controlling yourself is the hardest part of it. |

Being greedy is one of the biggest mistakes made by an amateur gambler. This is one of the facts why casinos are making a profit - they exploit the greedy people to play more and more and ultimately lose everything.

Actually you can control your own greed (usually it affect from family and friend's support ) When someone win, they feel joy and it will turn into addicted if it can't be control ! Whether you loose or win, you still cannot control it. I don't know exactly why, I guess it's the hope that you'll become rich sooner or later. That's only your imagination though.. I wish this is how it would've worked for everyone in this world. That would have been great. Casinos become like our enemy as soon as we loose: we're trying to hit (place higher and higher bets) to destroy them (get as much money as you can from the owners). It has not taken over my life as I had to put a stop to it or it would have ended my life very early on.
It is hard to stop an addiction but you have to find some else to replace it good or bad. Hopefully good because the other bad addictions will just compile the problem even worst then it already is.

The answer is no, but kids dont know yet what is right or wrong so the parents must have proper guidance to their child and give the attention they needed for them not to walk in the wrong path. but nowadays, anyone can use bitcoin either kids or adult so its the responsibility of the parents on how to deal with it.

Addictions are always hard to get through. Finding other hobbies may help you out for stone time, but you will still think about gambling and will still want to do it. For smoking, I found out buying cheap cartridges helps you out to combat the addiction. We have to find ways to combat this one too. I'd say just go and place a secondary password on your wallet. I think so, for the sake of experience and not to get addicted to it. It's really hard when people are talking about gambling and you can even relate because you've never tried it before.
