4621  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if BTC never reaches all time high? on: April 01, 2020, 10:38:42 AM
We will never know but like pooya mentioned it's not about the price but the development that it has for being a payment method. That would be a great day to see most of the countries start using it.

We'll just think of the price secondarily.
4622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency for Casino Games on: April 01, 2020, 03:22:40 AM
Atari is planning to enter the online crypto casino business so they are planning for two tokens along with an online casino.

Official announcement:
https://www.atari.com/iconic-atari%ef%b8%8f-properties-are-headed-to-the-revolutionary-blockchain-based-gaming-metaverse-the-sandbox/

The pre-sale is already live. It's indeed great to see such known brands are showing interest in crypto market. It will certainly increase the credibility of the "somewhat dead" ICO market!
My bad, I thought that they are not interested of making a venture in cryptocurrencies and should only be focused with games. I'm taking back my words as I've said it won't happen so please spare me with that.

If they'll start to make this venture great.

People who are into games and investments would love to see how they'll make something new out of their brand. As we know, most of the projects lately doesn't really do well.
4623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Want to invest on: April 01, 2020, 02:50:27 AM
BAT is a good altcoin but you must look to bitcoin at first.

For someone who's starting his portfolio, we always advise to buy your bitcoin stash as much as you want. Because it will save your portfolio in the long term as we know bitcoin's the most known cryptocurrency and considered as the king of this market.

Before buying any of those, buy bitcoin.

Sure, in fact I Want only to diversify my portfolio, but BTC is my gold reserve.
But I also think some projects can reveal some potential this year, so I wanted to know opinions
Great to hear that. I thought that you're mostly focused with the said altcoins and you're not open to invest in bitcoin but little did I know, you have already made up your own gold reserve through it.  Grin

If you say projects, I'm not telling you that don't be open with the new projects but it's like this. Many of the new projects doesn't really have the taste of the first ones that even until now, they're known and still fulfilling their promises. Unlike the newer ones, they're milking from their investors.

Atari making their crypto? no, this won't happen.

We have no news about them indulging to crypto. They are very popular during the early days but we're on the different times but it's not too late for them to retain that popularity that once they have received.

They should focus more with games than crypto.
4626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Impact of Covid on: March 31, 2020, 09:06:48 AM
I'm thinking of the same thing because of the stimulus but it wouldn't be that much to expect. I'm eager to see the impact of halving rather than what's next when this virus is gone.

OP is right that market is driven by the demand and it's what we all know about bitcoin. We're just expecting something that will force it to go up and also encourage us during this time when it's very difficult to rely on our sources.
4627  Economy / Economics / Re: Internet would become the most expensive commodity in the world. on: March 31, 2020, 08:21:16 AM
Internet is already part of our lives and there's a huge business that lies in it. Imagine a two decades ago or more, people thought of the internet as something crazy technology that we don't even think how it will touch everyone's lives.

Up to the point that it became a need for every business, enterprise, and household. We may get some free data but I doubt it that we'll get free internet access. Businessmen understand the trends and that's how they make money from things that we need and use despite regulations or laws that will be passed to give us free access.
Indeed. Internet has become part of our everyday lives that most of our work we always used the internet because it is the best source from finding good informations and ideas. Also, everything in this world is starting to make some upgrades that every technology requires internet access to continue their works.
A business cannot run without an internet unless it's operating locally without the use of it. But the percentage of those kinds of business and enterprises are very low. Many have their own websites that accepts orders and inquiries.

This is why the internet has a very important role to make every business run and to the economy. This is the entire economy that needs it and it's why I'd agree that it's the most expensive commodity today.
4628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto changes. on: March 31, 2020, 07:40:23 AM
Yes there is definite manipulation by whales in the crypto currency markets especially Bitcoin and ethereum how ever this isn't much different from the other stock markets where mutual funds and other big promoters holding large quantity of stock can increase or decrease the price themselves.
In such markets there will always be the big players, hoarders or what we call the whales. It's impossible that they will be gone for such markets because as long as they can see that it's a good place to milk money, they will be there.

We will see that when this pandemic have been declared to be clear, the market will be green again and with the addition of the halving for bitcoin. We're all going to be grateful that we survived not just the pandemic but also the bad days of crypto market.
4629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Stellar(XLM) go dump or pump on: March 30, 2020, 08:06:33 AM
Will Stellar(XLM) go more down or this is the end line and it will recover itself in an upcoming month and provide a good gain to their holders.
Question like this becomes irrelevant because of the same questions asked in the past with the altcoin that they were holding. No one has the ability to say if it will go down or up even you're good at technical analysis, you are not 100% sure that it will happen.

I can suggest you to always check the market and look to its chart and pay attention to the usual logic that we apply when we buy and sell.

Keep safe Faysal. It's your money and that's why we're holding it so that we can use it for something important and situations like this.

You're definitely right, you can always buy it at any price as long as you'll use it for your needs. Maybe this is your whole savings and you have put it in bitcoin and you are in an understandable situation, no matter what, keep safe all folks there.
4632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Corona Coin Head Developer Just Exit Scammed on: March 30, 2020, 05:57:44 AM
I feel bad that there were still people that becomes a victim of this kind of scam. They were not completely aware that when a coin was made and its name was purely made for fun, they don't have any other agenda but to scam people.
The same feeling. I am thinking those who got victim are also players who are experienced on playing with shitcoin but too bad the devs of this one is smart and make them bleed before even they can make their game profitable.
Might be those people still can't move on that whenever a project pops, they'll invest.

Gone are days that every project is interesting but with this one, this is unacceptable and they must be aware of what's happening today to the cryptocurrency world.

But the thing is that they were not aware of it.
4633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Corona Coin Head Developer Just Exit Scammed on: March 30, 2020, 05:26:21 AM
From the name itself, it's already obvious that it's a scam.

4634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is there hope for Tezos in 2020? on: March 30, 2020, 04:11:37 AM
Are you thinking that one-day Tezos and some alts will become independent? I can't see that day coming but I'm seeing that many of them will be gone but bitcoin shall stay. So, that would be the possible scenario by that time.

We get to see bitcoin with few alts emerging including Tezos or without them.
You might be right cause no altcoin will take the crown from bitcoin but cryptocurrency market is tremendous enough to acknowledge every reasonably organized crypto project with good concepts and with the advantage. Although, Tezos offers dApps and smart contracts platform and no project that offer such platform will ever leave the shadow of ETH but Tezos also follow the price of bitcoin market.
If there will be a chance to see bitcoin being replaced by an altcoin, I think we're very far away to see that moment. But I do believe that it's highly unlikely that it will happen.

People are learning the crypto fundamentals and basics and they're all leaning towards the movement and development of bitcoin. These alts will come along with bitcoin but it's unlikely to see them become independent.
4635  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITDICE.me - Crypto Casino 🎰 Now Accepting EOS | Roll Hunt | Bonuses on: March 30, 2020, 03:37:12 AM
Hello everyone,

On Wednesday night (25th of March) an user was able to find and exploit a bug on our site that allowed them to be able to predict upcoming cards in an active BlackJack round. Fortunately we caught on it relatively quickly however the user was still able to withdraw some funds gained by this issue.

I think it's important to note that no other harm was caused. The reason for this  was a simple oversight after a recent update back to using nonce in our provably fair method.
I guess if this guy just reported the bug, he'll be rewarded by Alex generously. I remember Sygambler(cmiiw) was rewarded for reporting a bug or something like that.

Good thing that it didn't cause much harm.
4636  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the government understand? on: March 29, 2020, 03:13:52 PM
We shouldn't expect everything from the government. This is why there are financial gurus that are educating and helping people for times like this, those teachings are applicable.

About the jobs, I don't think that the government can provide all of them to have it. What they can do is just support and supply them with the basic necessities but we couldn't just entrust everything that we need to them.
4637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is there hope for Tezos in 2020? on: March 29, 2020, 02:09:29 PM
Everything is at the bad position due to the world economy and I can't disagree that crypto has been hit hard. It's not that Tezos is included but all of them are.

When bitcoin hits low, they're all included. If you want some hope for Tezos, better get yourself some bitcoins because it's the one that moves the market positively or negatively.
Tezos needs to be independent in order to really be a good project because until now all altcoins are dependent on Bitcoin so it will certainly be difficult to identify.

In the past this coin used to go up very high in a short period of time but now I only see a drop and it is making the holders feel tired. However, this is also the time for you to buy at a low price and will definitely make a profit if the market returns to normal.

4638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Positive Impact & Negative Impact For the cryptocurrency market? on: March 28, 2020, 11:27:45 PM
The negative and positive impact #1 do conflict. And let's correct what you have said about the #2 about it. The correct term is that the block rewards for miners will be cut into half.

Because every block they receive 12.5BTC and this is every 10 minutes and once the halving commences, it will be reduced to 6.25BTC. That's the half of it.

4640  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Strategy? on: March 28, 2020, 10:18:26 PM
I think I have read of the same conspiracy but I'm not sure whether to believe it or not. I can't think of it but somehow that conspiracy is making the readers believe that it's telling the actual truth.

We will never know the truth about it. And the other conspiracy that I've read is this virus is a man-made virus which has one goal and that is to send the entire world's economy down because China is losing to the trade war.

I guess I'm done reading these conspiracy theories.
