4621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FundRequest : Platform for rewarding open source contributions on: February 24, 2017, 02:05:23 AM
Maybe you have any  bounty program?

any bounties?
sign camp?
translation?

In my opinion, I think you should know first if the project is genuine, sincere or still active before participating in any promotional campaign. You might end up empty handed if you join without such a bit of assurance from the dev team.
4622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] |★| First Project of ATOMIC COIN - ATOM |★| on: February 24, 2017, 01:57:19 AM
let me guess:  your gonna try sell us something, a "Great New Crypto Game Changer!" , in an ICO -_-

Wait & see how this one will market his own project. I hope he already silently patch up things with BF or they already burned bridges.
4623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Dropcoin - Brand New Hybrid Currency! on: February 23, 2017, 10:46:30 PM
Knock knock! Any news dev?
Maybe you can officially drop now this dropcoin project!  Wink
4624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Banana Fund - Crowdfunding & Development on: February 23, 2017, 02:06:49 PM
No updates here from the dev. Been a while already. I'm checking this out coz he has a lot of BTCs and a lot of "investors" are waiting for him. Or he just abandoned this one and tired of creating stories?
4625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Banana Fund - Crowdfunding & Development on: January 25, 2017, 02:55:03 AM
why is it that up until now there's no concrete plan being presented to the community!!!

yes, you have that much much BTC! updating once in a while what you've got. but what for?

people are very negative towards you coz it is how you handle your business here!
it seems to me that you are fooling a lot of people tied in your social media acct. crypto community will not be easily deceived by your hollow promises.
4626  Other / Off-topic / Re: How you deal with depression? on: January 23, 2017, 01:08:38 PM
I focus on my hobbies, go to the gym, meditate. Stop beating myself up. Take a step back to figure out why I'm depressed. Surround myself with positive people. Maybe you need professional help? 27 years old - your story is not over - there is still hope.

I like that "your story is not over - there is still hope" phrase.
Just think that you are still breathing & can do a lot more - more than anyone!

Don't think of others' success in life as yours is a unique one.

In the end, we will all be buried & forgotten...
4627  Economy / Gambling / Re: 12% loses since joining satoshidice on: January 22, 2017, 06:37:25 AM
in gambling - you are prepared to suffer a fair amount of your money.
so no hard feelings if you lost.

but one thing for sure - there's no future in gambling! talking bout my perspective  Tongue
4628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I looked for three days, $120? on: January 22, 2017, 05:17:45 AM
In gambling whatever you make money is just because of your luck. Today if you win that doesn't mean that you got a working strategy because in gambling only luck works and other things just help you to reduce your losses. I suggest to carry on with the gambling by thinking that you got a method to win instead gamble only for fun.

nice piece of advice MinerHQ!

especially that a lot of the gambling sites have their own schemes of deceiving people!!!

so just gamble for fun! unless infer has some hidden agenda why you are promoting this one.
4629  Other / Off-topic / Re: My First Bitcoin and What's Your ? on: January 22, 2017, 04:54:20 AM
i heard bitcoin from my boss way back in 2013.

for him to prove that btc works, he sent me a small amt. of btc so i can convert it to my currency & withdraw. that works!   Cheesy

then, i started reading/researching/exploring the cryptoworld, learned a lot & the rest is history.  Smiley
4630  Other / Politics & Society / Re: WILL DONALD TRUMP PERFORMED BETTER THAN OBAMA on: January 21, 2017, 01:55:43 AM
I believe Trump will outperform Obama.

He is a successful entrepreneur so he knows the master plan.

He doesn't need money anymore. If someone bribes him, he will just be ashamed of himself for offering that to him.

He wants to prove that he can "make America great again!" So he will execute everything what is needed. No delays. No excuses.

I surmise then that, Trump decided to be the US Pres. to leave a legacy before he vanishes in this world.
4631  Other / Off-topic / Re: Damn Russians !!! on: January 21, 2017, 01:21:26 AM
Protesters prefer Clinton over Trump...lol

I'm not American but from my perspective that woman has hidden agenda why she ran for that position.

Now that her Clinton Foundation has been exposed of embezzling multi-million dollar of wealth. Either she's going to jail or she's really going to jail.  Shocked

4632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining With My Laptop on: January 21, 2017, 01:00:22 AM
Just to put things in perspective, at the current difficulty and BTC price, you'll need about 6 TH/sec (Terahash, aka 6000 GH) to produce $4 per day. That also assumes your electricity is free and you are willing to run whatever hardware you have flat out, 24/7.

None of the above even remotely fits a laptop. It cannot even hit 1/10000 of the hashrate, and it's not built for 24/7 operation flat out. Laptops do short bursts of computation just fine, but not several minutes, much less hours all day. Attempting this will produce literally nothing in terms of BTC, and will shorten the life of you laptop significantly. A desktop might not have it's life shortened a lot, but it's still woefully underpowered.

Read lots of the threads here to see what you actually need if you want to mine BTC.

Even a newbie like me knows by now that the laptop-mining thing is a no go situation. The laptop is going to be destroyed.

Live example of the profits with a simple PC

Three normal (office usage) PC's:
 i3, i5, Core 2 2.66Ghz without overclocking

mining in minergate for almost 2 weaks 24*7 with total H/s
https://minergate.com/widget/3ceaa05041858ed4.png

The profits are:
Monero           0.152897540725
FantomCoin     0.755349797363

In total : 1.85572361 USD

So do your maths in mining with a laptop...

that's very true, even if you have your solar panels that will compensate for your electricity bill..
in the end, you will regret of even trying to think about laptop-mining. a lot is at stake for this endeavor!
4633  Other / Off-topic / Re: If you won a (usd) $2 million dollar lottery on: January 20, 2017, 02:00:49 PM
1st - pay off all your debts (if there's any)
2nd - get life/health/medical insurance
3rd - invest >> gold, as this type of investment has proven its stability & has international liquidity
4th - invest >> properties such as land, house & lot, farm, etc.
5th - invest >> a decent business that will cater you & your family (i.e. find one that is close to your heart, one your passionate about)
6th - get a relaxing & stress-free vacation with your family
7th - bottom line is > make sure that at the end of the day your mind is at peace & your body is well taken care of (that's already priceless, more than what you got from the lottery)
4634  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you become a good entrepreneur? on: January 20, 2017, 01:42:13 PM
Get lucky or corrupt.
Many are born with money or fall into it by accident.
MOST are scammy assholes who push schemes.
Good guys finish last..

the last sentence is about 99.9% true...coz good guys tend to abide all the laws & regulations implemented on his realm of business.

but for me, the top of the list should be motivation and creativity.
if you have motivation, then there's the fire burning within you that you can innovate to such extent that you never thought of.  Smiley
4635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] Banana Fund - Crowdfunding & Development on: January 20, 2017, 11:19:09 AM
Here are the bulk of the funds: 346.89 BTC
https://blockchain.info/address/13xKsaZxS597SJorAxATBmqu9tzLzrps88

There's another 34 BTC on my exchange account. Some scraps in the hot wallet.
And the remainder has been applied already... once the website is built, you'll be able to see all the invoices billed against the dev funding.

ok fair enough that you posted already this btc ad with that amount...

waiting for the progress of this proj., if it will really be a success in the future.

4636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happen "if" someone have all of bitcoin? on: January 20, 2017, 05:18:11 AM

Pray tell, exactly how the fuck did you pass muster so to participate in a sig campaign? Inquiring minds wanna know.

To be fair, here's my question(s):

Anyone like sperm because sperm offer population growth, and some excellence rather than use self-procreation. In my mind i have many question about it.
  • Is there some one can get all the sperm for him- or herself?
  • If impossible, are that guy or gal can control it?
  • Is any sperm exchange will not working until that guy or gal sell some their sperm?

And don't even get me started on controlling the world's corn supply where some advocate, "Nothing goes in where corn comes out!"

@Gleb Gamow, i like how you articulate your response to these queries of hyudien.  Cheesy at least you still put your effort commenting on this topic though his questions are....b*ld*rd**h...
sometimes reading in the forum adds up spice in your everyday living  Grin
4637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ORO] OroCoin | Desktop Client/Wallet Released! | Trading on NOVA Exchange on: January 20, 2017, 04:21:47 AM
i dont trust NOVA Exchange. Orocoin must hit different exchanges, forexample bittrex .....

More exchanges are coming soon! Smiley

i'll wait if this one will be listed in more reputable exchanges...

can't decipher how its claim to fame is being the "the gold standard of cryptocurrency" - a lot of flaws are already uncovered by crypto "experts"

i saw another one that has better platform than this coin

4638  Economy / Reputation / Re: Negative feedback based on someone's personal dislike on: January 19, 2017, 11:40:05 PM
I added a trust system to the marketplace sections. When you're logged in, you'll now see something like this next to Marketplace posts:
Quote
Trust: 1: -0 / +12(3)

The first number is the user's trust score calculated based on how consistently they've received positive feedback. Probably no one will get a score above 0 until the system has been around for at least a month. The second number is the number of reported scams. The third number increases with the number of positive reports, as does the fourth number in parenthesis, though the fourth number is more resistant to abuse. This text changes color depending on the score. Users with a negative score (attainable through scamming) get a red warning attached to their posts.

These scores are taken from your trust network. They are not global scores. You can edit your trust network here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust
If your trust depth is set to 2 (the default), you will trust feedback by people you trust, people they trust, and people they trust. I might change the default in the future; we'll see how this works. Your trust list is public.

On feedback pages, you can leave trade feedback. There are no rules for this, but here are some guidelines:
- List all of the trades that you do with people (or at least the major ones). This is not like #bitcoin-otc where you give people just one score.
- Do not rate people based on the quality of their posts.
- Older ratings count for more, so don't delete old ratings if you can avoid it.
- "Risked BTC" is how much money you could have lost if the person you're rating had turned out to be a scammer. Or, if they are a scammer, it's how much you lost. Use the BTC value at the time of reporting.
- It's OK to post a rating about the person in general, not tied to a specific trade.
- If you want to make a rating stronger, increase "Risked BTC". 50 extra risked BTC is equivalent to an additional rating.

If your trust list is totally empty, you trust "DefaultTrust", which includes some trustworthy people that I'll select. But if you add anyone to your trust list, even if they don't trust anyone, DefaultTrust will no longer be considered part of your trust list.

In the near future I'll add these same ratings to PMs.

Tell me if you see any bugs. I didn't test this much yet.

Or more specifically
It's OK to post a rating about the person in general, not tied to a specific trade.

I would actually have a harder time trusting someone that makes comments similar to yours.
In that sense, I'm okay with someone pointing it out with the trust system.

@ -Greed- I read your comments about that topic & oppss that's something derogatory. Anyway, that's your opinion & I have nothing to do with that. And if someone is leaving you a negative feedback, then, it's their own judgment call.

And it has been stated that there are no rules on leaving such feedback, only guidelines. So I think it is his prerogative to do such act (maybe he has reasons to do that).

4639  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: whether bitcoin is able to change the level of a person's life for the better? on: January 19, 2017, 11:12:40 PM
Well, Bitcoin can change people's life, if micro payment can be implemented cheaper. Imagine someone getting paid per minute. This was not

possible before, because the banking fees would have eliminated your gains. Bitcoin can also be used to pay for micro tasks globally, so wealth

transfer is cheaper. Say, someone needs to write a essay for school, but he is too lazy to type it.... Well, you just record the audio and access

a site for micro tasks, and pay someone to type it. {obviously someone needs to escrow the funds} You can pay, per word.  Wink

Bitcoin is already changing lives in those that don't have the luck of being born in a first world country. Out there people dont have the luxury of owning a bank account and access to markets.

Of course, in the first world, bitcoin does nothing relevant yet, unless you were one of the few that got rich by buying at the beginning.

I fully agree what has been said from the above responses. I've been using the BTC/altcoin exchanges since 2014 & gave me so much advantages up until now - transaction fees, ease of transfer, no human intervention except you & so on...the fact that I'm a resident of a 3rd world country. Nowadays, I can even send $2-worth of BTC to my bank acct, 24/7 just paying a dust of my btc for transaction fee while comfortably sitting on my chair at my home. just WOW! so yeah, btc or digital currency in some way greatly affects some of the ordinary person's life for the better.

but as full-time job. nope..not for me as of now. i'll leave that to the crypto experts - they can mine, create their coin, do the trading etc.

but still Cheers to Satoshi Nakamoto!!!!  Smiley  Cheesy
